Petty opinion of the day: Pari's Paloma's Labour bothers me for no end for the way it can't pick a setting.
The clip is very medieval-coded, she sings about fetching water from the well and tending the orchards... so like? Are you meant to be a farmer's wife in a historical past? But then she starts talking about "weaponized incompetence" which is a very modern concept that much more evokes urban living and men pretending they can't use the damn washing machine. She's sitting at his "high table", but singing about his "picket fence dreams"?
PICK A LANE, WOMAN?? Are you talking about historical or modern women?! THEIR OPPRESSION DOESN'T WORK THE SAME.

a pet peeve of mine is stuff proudly labelled vegan but it's farmed w slave labor. like how is that vegan then.
we made this without exploiting or harming any animals!!! (but the human children forced into dangerous and underpaid agricultural labour to make this product don't matter i guess???)
like how are you gonna try to sell me child abuse chocolate and tell me it's vegan like come on

other people have probably already said this but like. it's been a shockingly nice experience to watch the dungeon meshi fandom go absolutely NUTS over falin. just this unbelievable wellspring of thirsty romantic eye for her, and not only is she chubby in canon, most of the fanart i've seen has skewed towards drawing her even chubbier? i... genuinely do not think i've ever seen that before. i don't think i've ever been in an anime fandom where someone both looks like me and is the subject of such enthusiastic adoration BECAUSE she's fat before.

Cute stardew valley idea:
If you want to have Junimos on your farm, but don't want to feel bad about what is essentially enslaving them for maximum profit, make a little junimo garden instead!
Place a junimo hut in a little corner or side area, give them some trees and decorations, and then plant some recurring-harvest plants like trellis or bushes, with sprinklers or Deluxe water retaining soil so you don't have to water anything. Then just let them enjoy their little garden and not take any of their harvest. Presto! Cute little junimo garden!

My mini contribution to @echoes-lighthouse's Evil Slasher Orphanage! My wife Anna and I are here to help, and brought a few more kids of our own.
I really thought I was a horror fan until I sat down to draw this and came up blank. I guess I'm not a slasher guy, because a LOT more Monsters and Beasts came to mind, so it took a while to form a list. Though I did include Sam who is certainly a Creeture but.. They're human enough.

the problem with articles discussing "feeding our ever growing population" never seem to consider is the food waste produced by capitalism. if we eliminate capitalism, or at the very least start to discourage reckless, over spending that then LEADS to food waste.

Feminist fantasy is funny sometimes in how much it wants to shit on femininity for no goddamned reason. Like the whole “skirts are tools of the patriarchy made to cripple women into immobility, breeches are much better” thing.
(Let’s get it straight: Most societies over history have defaulted to skirts for everyone because you don’t have to take anything off to relieve yourself, you just have to squat down or lift your skirts and go. The main advantage of bifurcated garments is they make it easier to ride horses. But Western men wear pants so women wearing pants has become ~the universal symbol of gender equality~)
The book I’m reading literally just had its medievalesque heroine declare that peasant women wear breeches to work in the field because “You can’t swing a scythe in a skirt!”
