A little special post I wanted to make for my special day! Where my fellow 10/20 babies at 😎 (Warnings: a few make suggestive implications because I think some members would be more inclined towards certain birthday ‘celebrations’ 👀😅 Also 노래방 = karaoke btw!)

S.Coups

He isn’t the type to surprise you- instead he tells you to get ready for a great day! He takes you shopping first, letting you fill your bag to your heart’s content and practically stopping you from putting anything down unless you insist you don’t actually want it. Books, clothes, collectibles, you name your favorite, Seungcheol buys you plenty more for your collection. You basically live out the Anakin and Padme meme when you ask that this is your gift, right? Nope, that’s the matching jewelry sets he got you because you said you’d wanted couple items! Since you guys spent the afternoon out anyway, it’s easy for the day to melt into a dinner together, the two of you holding hands across the table and reminiscing on memories that led to your latest year of life. Seungcheol wants to ring in your next year right, even if it means staying up all night!

Jeonghan

The party can be later- this day is all about keeping you to himself! Jeonghan can hardly keep his hands off you as he brings you to the living room where lights and blankets are all set up, all of your favorite movies laid out for your choice. You grin, but before you can sit down and get wrapped up he presents you with the beautiful bouquet he bought you, some of the most gorgeous flowers you’ve ever seen. Some extra decor, he explains to you with a satisfied grin that only grows wider as you pull him in for a kiss. Then it’s finally movie time, all your favorites and if they’re movies that make you cry, tissues at the ready on the coffee table. You better believe Jeonghan got you the cutest cake he could find for later in the day, one perfectly sized for the two of you since the next day you’ll have the big party cake! The cake is practically the one thing that distracts him from holding and doting on you to your heart’s content, hehe~

Joshua

Decides to throw you a surprise party just to see the look on your face when you walk in! He tells you where to come meet him to celebrate together, completely omitting the fact that all his bandmates and every friend or family of yours he could get over will also be there. In typical fashion, everyone exclaims ‘surprise!’ the moment you set foot in the room, and even if it gives you a heart attack at first you can’t help but beam at the effort Joshua put in to decorate the room, coordinate with everybody, and get your favorite snacks and meal to lay out for the party- all for you! You immediately pull him into your arms and thank him for going to the trouble, trouble he reminds you again and again was worth it. Just to hit home how thoughtful your gentleman is, he gifts you a matching bracelet alongside that one thing you’ve been hinting about wanting for a couple weeks!

Jun

Did somebody say themed party? Because Mr. Wen Junhui did! All of Seventeen’s antics over the years have taught him a thing or two about sticking with a concept and he can’t help but laugh at the mental image of you walking in on him and your friends dressed to match your favorite show or movie. Ok, not full cosplay, but something you’ll be sure to recognize from his clothes. He gets a cake with your favorite characters frosted on it and a plushie of something cute from it to have hold your flowers! The way the rest of Seventeen play along at his behest is heartwarming too, most of the members trying their best to be in character and do bits you’d recognize, all of performance line especially hamming it up for you! You get the most memorable pictures from it, especially when someone gets a piece of cake smashed in their face! All in all, you and Jun are laughing all night, your head falling to his shoulder and his hand taking yours and occasionally bringing it to his lips.

Hoshi

The moment he sees you you’re getting wrapped up in his arms, tumbled around or falling backwards if you’re on or over your bed or couch or spun in the air if you’re standing. His hand closes around yours and then you’re off, getting led on an adventure. Not a second is going to go by without love and fun, whether you guys are checking out the art popup that coincided with your special day or when you hit the slick track where he might just let you win because you’re cute! Soonyoung keeps talking about how your next anniversary or birthday you guys should go skydiving, only coming back down to earth from his reverie if you’re really scared by the idea! After a wonderful dinner, you two rent out a 노래방 and belt to your hearts’ content, swaying with arms around each other and singing a ballad as goody as you can together then getting completely sidetracked in the middle of the next song because you’ve started making out. Soonyoung is so the type to make sure you know that it’s your special day and you get him all to yourself allll day if you’d like 😘

Wonwoo

During the day, you guys can do whatever, but at night? It’s Wonwoo’s plan and he’s spoiling you! He got reservations to one of the nicest restaurants in the area and a new outfit for you to dress up with him- one that perfectly matches his suit, in fact. No expense is spared, candles faintly illuminate the table and you get everything you want to try even if you protest that it’s too much. Not today, Wonwoo reminds you. Normally your boyfriend isn’t one for PDA, but since it’s a special occasion he’s feeling the merriment, eyes extra loving as he gazes into your eyes, leans forward to press the occasional kiss to your cheeks. Beneath the table, his hand finds its way to your knee, idly tracing patterns as you enjoy the fine dinner and dessert. Wonwoo also has a gift waiting for you because, in his words, you’re a gift to him! But that you’ll have to wait until you get home for because it’s a two-part gift- one a bit more for him and one for you since he bought you a game you said you’d like to play together, but also got something you’d had your eye on for some time to make up for any bias in the first one!

Woozi

On your birthday, he wants to wake up next to you, so you stay together the night before- however that looks to you 😉 He doesn’t want to wake you, you look so beautiful even resting, but finally your eyelashes flutter as you wake, smiling at the sight of him and the way he tells you happy birthday in a low voice. He does all the things you normally do for him, gestures like getting breakfast ready and making the bed. There’s something symbolic, poetic even, about being in nature on a day of birth, so he’s keen on taking a walk or even a hike if you’re down to just admire any leaves or blossoms that are out or what endures strongly if it’s winter, comparing those things to you. Jihoon just can’t help himself, singing softly to you as you walk hand-in-hand, his eyes never leaving you. He tells you again and again what you mean to him as someone who lights him up after a long day, takes care of him and encourages him, and earnestly wishes his gifts to you will reflect that. It takes him by surprise when you pull him in for a kiss beneath one of the largest trees, but you can feel his little gape melt into a smile against your lips.

DK

It’s going to be a party all day! Seokmin plans the cutest day, taking you to the amusement park and taking literally every photo op he can. Backgrounds, photo booths, props, even paying for overpriced ride photos. Why, though? Because part of your gift is an adorable, sticker-laden scrapbook of your days together that fills your heart with joy just to look at! Next step is going out with friends for dinner, drinks, cake, the works. It’s a whirlwind of thrill rides, merry-go-rounds, and songs sung with all your favorite people, and all spent in your boyfriend’s loving arms, his smile wide and proud of one of the most wonderful additions to his life so far. Even at the end of it all, you can see how glad he is to have you back one on one because he’d been feeling a bit too shy to give you your big birthday kiss in front of everyone ❤️

Mingyu

Mingyu CANNOT STOP taking pictures of you all throughout the day, just giving you heart eyes at everything you do during your little day on the town. He tells you he can see why that outfit is your favorite, it looks so amazing on you. This guy is also soooo the type to take you all around and make sure to get a few smooches in when people are looking, too- that’s right, you’re his person! Cannot go .01 seconds without telling someone it’s your birthday so they congratulate you, whether it’s a waiter or the person ringing you up for the jewelry he buys you or who he gave the phone to to get a picture of you together. He just chuckles and pulls you in close if the attention embarrasses you, telling you with excitement that it’s your special day, so everyone should be celebrating you! But, he’s quick to remind you, none of them are going to celebrate you quite like he is later 😁

The8

He wants to start the day with you at sunrise, unless you really protest that you are not a morning person! On your birthday morning, you won’t have to lift a finger: Minghao is making you breakfast and tea, draping you in a cozy robe to come sit outside and enjoy it together beneath the rising sun. As you’re sitting there, he tells you all the things he appreciates most about you and wishes upon you for your new year. After that, he draws a bath for you guys before you get ready to tackle the day- whatever you would like that to look like. At the end of it all, he presents you with your birthday cake and gifts, your favorite of which is a gorgeous painting he made and framed just for you! He knows your favorite colors, subjects, what would match your home, and so he nails it. Speaking of nails, he practically has to physically restrain you from breaking out a hammer to hang it up right then and there, telling you in that soothing, seductive voice not now, love, tomorrow. We have plenty else we can do to enjoy your birthday tonight, right? You pout a little at that and all he can do is giggle and kiss you.

Seungkwan

He’s been hyping up your special day now for a while, hinting at a trip, so when you wake up the first thing out of his mouth beside ‘happy birthday’ is encouraging you to pack with wide eyes glittering full of excitement. Your destination, you learn, is Jeju, both of you having been missing the sea and yearning for a break from the city scene. Seungkwan knows all the best places to eat, the most beautiful spots to take pictures and see the water, so every moment takes your breath away, not to mention how sweetly he holds and caresses your hands and how passionate every kiss he gives you is. You stay the night right on the water, no expense spared even toward your night on the island together, however you’d like to spend it 😘

Vernon

Texts you or wakes you up at midnight if you’re together to give you wishes for the day the moment it starts and not a minute sooner. Since it’s your day, he really wants to take care of you, so you find Vernon being a lot more doting than usual, putting music on and taking the initiative to care for you in the bath or shower and do your hair. If you like painting your nails, he does yours and even lets you do his because hey, it’s your birthday what the heck? What a good excuse to have you be holding hands longer. You lay against his chest as he reads to you to while the afternoon away before your evening dinner and movie night, a classic date ending in a late-night drive where he pulls a cake out, lighting a candle for it and sharing it with you beneath the stars. His gift to you is a new pair of headphones, the best he could find, one of those necklaces with the position of the stars on the day you met, and roses cast in resin so they’ll never die, just like his love for you.

Dino

This man is going to whisk you away on a whole birthday trip, like you’ll practically have to stop him from buying plane tickets to fly you guys to Paris. In order to maintain some semblance of practicality, you talk him down to a getaway somewhere more accessible like a road trip or island feery. Wherever that lands, Chan walks you around with an arm around you, showing you off with a proud grin. Every ounce of his demeanor and high head says ‘look at my beautiful significant other’. He’s going to take you out for nice meals and dance with you on a bridge in the dim of night and put just a few too many candles on your blazing cake, making you laugh and capturing that photo before the one of you blowing them out with a wish in your heart and love at your side.

You had just picked up Soobin, already returning to your apartment. It was a movie night, and you knew how busy he was, but he insisted on spending time with you before leaving for his tour, even with the preparations already in full force. He was still making time for you, nonetheless.

As you reach a red light, Soobin urges you to look at a picture he took earlier. He wants you to compliment him on their new concept, but you don't dare fall for his tricks.

"Wow," you say in mock awe.

"You didn't even look, ugh, here!" he practically forces the phone into your face. The brightness blinds you briefly before you look at the photo. Damn, he looked good. The photo in front of you entirely took you away. Now you know how MOA feels. And he took your silence as an agreement. 

"I know I'm so sexy in this, right?"

"No, I was looking at Beomgyu. He's been looking a little too good recently, and the long hair suits him." You genuinely complimented the guy.

"Ew, please, I look better. Next thing you know, I'll be in a mullet for the next shoot. Ah, look at this one!" Soobin attempts to show you the next photo, but the light has already turned green. 

"Whatever, I know what you'll say anyways," and he continues to smile at himself, tapping away at his screen. 

"Okay, mister, and speaking of your bandmates, when am I meeting them?" you had been meaning to meet the four of them. Soobin always talks about them, and it warms your heart to know he has such kind people to surround him in such a stressful field. Recently, Hueningkai had texted you, but you didn't believe it was him. It would make sense since you know Soobin, but you were still cautious. You had forced him to prove himself, and when he sent a sneaky pic of him and Soobin sleeping in the background, you just had to believe him. Kai told you that Soobin mentioned your guys' similar plushie collections, and your friendship grew from there. 

"I know you just want to because of Beomgyu, but no, you can't. You're mine."

Oh, does he know what that does to your heart?

"…Maybe, BUT I really wanna meet Kai. Kai has been showing me the recent penguin plushie he bought, and I wanna meet a fellow squishmallow connoisseur." 

"You feed his addictions; it's not good. And I don't even know how he got your number!" He suspects that Kai took his phone to steal it from him after mentioning you once to the guys. He regrets ever bringing you up because now you and the guys want to meet one another, and he can't have that happen as much as he appreciates the people he loves the most actually liking each other; he likes the dates the two of you have... just you two. 

"Whatever! I'll meet them one day. It's bound to happen~."

"Maybe one day.." As his sentence begins to trail off, the expression on his face changes to a familiar one that tells you he's thinking. 

"But you and I both know you would never be able to say a word to Beomgyu. Also... why is he your bias? Hello, I'm right here!" He's been pestering you about that ever since his debut. 

He doesn't understand why you would not like him the most. He's your best friend, why Beomgyu?!

"That might be true, but don't call me out. Let me live." 

"Yeah, in your delusions? It's unhealthy to be stuck there, but I can help you get out."

You had already reached your apartment's parking garage, settling into your designated parking spot and turning your car off. 

"Yeah? And how's that?" you turn to look at him to see what he means.

He places his arm behind your car's headrest and points at himself with his other hand. 

"Me." and he has that damned grin on his face. You push him lightly with the palm of your hand, but enough to see that he has hit the back of his seat. Your giggles are all that's left before you begin packing your things. 

"Sure," you say as you gather your phone and keys from their holders—the car doors closing, resonating throughout the garage walls, and the familiar smell of gasoline and others you can't name became more prominent.

"Oh, come on, you know you love me," and he wiggles his eyebrows in your direction.

"I only use you for body heat, if anything." you look at him deadpan.

"Oh, so I'm being used." he feigns hurt, hand against his chest as you walk towards the elevators. 

"Yup!" You comment gleefully.

The time you take to reach your apartment feels like little to nothing despite you taking residence on the 20th floor. Quick banter and giggles fill the halls. You fear one of your neighbors will hear and complain. 

Once inside, he removes his shoes and slips into the slippers you bought for him with enlarged eyes and vibrant blue peeking out from under his sweats. He smiles to himself, reminded of his fond memory of you surprising him with the pair. He recognized them the instant you had flaunted them in your hands, already wearing the matching pair in a light green. You had shown him a video of the slippers once, insistent that you needed them because they could tongue kiss and hold hands. 

Making himself comfortable on your couch, he grabs the remote as it's his turn to pick the movie for tonight. He had nothing in mind but wandered to those Studio Ghibli films you love. He could understand why you liked them so much, having watched all of them with you on a movie marathon. He was happy to see you indulge yourself in the numerous scenes played on screen and be there for you when it got emotional. You were the type to cry during movies, and he cherishes the fact his shoulder is the one you chose to cry on. You set the snacks you prepared beforehand on the coffee table in front of him before heading to your room to get ready.

When you return, he's on his phone but quickly looks up to see you in one of the hoodies he thought he lost. But unfortunately, he's not too mad seeing you being its captor. If anything, butterflies fill his stomach, and he distracts himself by scooting to make space for you beside him. 

Your small figure in his hoodie does things to his heart, and he knows he's got to do something about these feelings he has for you. But it's probably too late, seeing how affected he is, and you aren't even cuddling yet. 

You take your place on the couch, snuggling into his side and placing the blanket over the both of you. The warmth that floods you is comforting against the cool air. You look at the screen ahead, and your eyes widen slightly as you recognize the familiar title. 

"Ponyo? I thought you wanted to watch that one anime you like." You were curious why he had picked the movie since it was one that you watched when you were feeling down or just needed something to listen to while you slept. You forget the unfortunate end of a particular character he loves, as you mention in the anime series. The mood then dampens, and his expression becomes downturned. 

"Ahh, sorry, I forgot he died. RIP Gojo"

"Too soon…" he says. "It's bad enough. I had to be reminded of it live the other day." You remember seeing this moment live (what can you say? You're a fan!) and could only watch and adore the cute expressions on his and Kai's face.

"Sorry, sorry," you say, chuckling at his expression. You poke the sides of his cheeks, feeling pity about his loss. "Let's just watch the movie then."

As the movie begins to play, a scene comes up where Ponyo heads straight for Sosuke. She passes the mom, who holds her arms open for the little girl, only to see her run and hug her son just behind her. It's an adorable scene, and you can feel the pure childlike happiness flowing from it. It's reasons like these that have always drawn you to these films. 

Suddenly, Soobin nudges your shoulder to get your attention. 

"That's us," eyes never straying from the scene before him. 

"Yeah, and you're the mom, right?"

"Shut up.. hey we should dress up for Halloween together."

"Yeah? You as Sosuke and me as Ponyo?" You suggest.

"Yeah! I'm sure I have a plain yellow shirt somewhere.." He ponders the thought that, if anything, he can always scavenge through the other guys' clothes.

"You fit the part, but.. I don't know how I would look as a ginger. Never thought of myself in red." Honestly, you thought red was good as a clothing choice, and you had never dyed your hair besides when you thought going blonde was a good idea. But, ever since, you stuck to staying natural.

"Well, we can buy a wig and test it out, so you don't have to commit. No matter what, I think you'll look cute."

"Maybe… oh, but my friends are gonna be on my ass about this." The realization dawns on you. How could you forget? Their nagging comments still ring in your ears (out of love <3). 

"Why?" he questions, cocking his head to the side. 

"Couples costumes? They already think we're in cahoots." You say as you quote the last word with your hands. 

"Of course, I always tell them you don't think of me as anything more than a friend." you let out a nervous laugh and take a bite of the treats before you to distract yourself after revealing such information. You think about all the times Soobin has come over, and your roommate mischievously wiggled her eyebrows at you. 

They'd get a kick out of this one…

“…”

But when Soobin doesn't say anything, it worries you a bit. Did you say something wrong? 

"Hey, is something wrong?"

"No, I just.. it.. Nevermind." 

"You sure? You know you can always tell me. I won't judge." You can tell he's hesitating, but you don't want to pressure him. You're already ready to take back your statement, but he begins to speak up again.

"I... I know you won't. It's just, what if I see you like that... more than a friend, I mean."

You pause. What? 

There's no way that Choi Soobin would like you, of all people? I mean.. he's surrounded by beautiful idols every day at work... What could he ever see in you romantically? You're way out of his league, and the thought has your mind doing laps. You don't know what to say, and he takes your silence as a rejection.

"Sorry, I knew it was stupid. I didn't want to make it awkward; I just thought that tonight would be the night I would finally be able to tell you how I felt."

You continue to stare at him as he fiddles with his fingers. His eyes are darted to the side, away from your knowing gaze. But he continues to spill his heart out for you to hear.

"Maybe it was just me or the way the guys would tell me you might feel the same that's making me say this… Sorry, I shouldn't have told you. I was worried I would ruin what we had, and I couldn't lose you, but.. Ugh, I've already done it."

His shoulders shake as he closes in on himself, regretting his decisions. You immediately take his hands in yours, making him look back at you from the sudden contact. 

"You don't have to say anymore, Binnie." as you place one of your hands on his cheek, his eyes watery, you hate that you're making him feel this way.

You couldn't bear watching as he beat himself up over this. You couldn't after knowing that the possibility he liked you back was real.

"And what if I told you I liked you too?" you whisper, already so afraid as you watch his eyes widen. You couldn't continue to deny your feelings and refuse him because you felt like you weren't fit to be by his side. You wanted to take this moment to finally tell him that all those dates were starting to feel way more than just two friends hanging out. His smiles are the highlight of your day, and his laughter and the sight of his dimples as he grins, are something you wish to see any second you can, especially if you were the one who caused it. That the mere touch of his hand against your own sends your heart soaring out of your chest? That- 

And before you know it, everything has been said. Words slip from your lips faster than you could think, and your distance decreases. Teary eyes stare into teary eyes in the dim light of your living room.

"Can I.. kiss you?" 

All you can manage is a meek nod in his direction before your eyes shut. The feeling of his lips against your own was so soft and everything you could've imagined and more.. you could feel your heart leaping out of your chest, and you worry he can hear it. Your hand on his is starting to tremble, but he only grasps them, rubbing circles to soothe your nerves. 

You meld together so well; finally, having him like this does wonders for your heart. When you finally separate, your hands and legs feel like jelly, and you can only see the soft smile creeping up on his face. A reddish hue can be seen along his cheeks, and you can only imagine the damage it's done to your own.

The movie is long forgotten, and the sound of your heart beating against your eardrums is all you can hear. Even in the quiet of the room, he whispers.

"I like you, y/n—a lot. And I hope that... if you will. Will you allow me to be your boyfriend?" And you don't dare hesitate to answer. 

"Yes! Over and over again, yes!" you say in a giggling fit. You're now straddling his lap and entangling your limbs in his clumsily. You never thought reciprocating feelings with your best friend would feel like this, but you never want it to end.

"Does this mean I can finally do this?" you ask.

He looks at you curiously, tilting his head adorably as you attack his face with pecks and kisses. Hearing his yelps of "help!" followed by giggles. Oh, the things you would do to listen to his laughter on replay.

"Oh my god, get a room." a voice states their presence. 

You jump from your spot on his lap as you both look up at the voice. Your friend had just left her room to refill her glass of water, judging by the empty cup in her hand, to walk in on you, peppering Soobin's face. Sure, she had wanted this to happen for a while, realizing your shared feelings long before you knew. Still, it doesn't make this scene less awkward. A feeling of shame fell upon the two of you, more so Soobin, as he didn't mean to get caught in such an intimate position by your roommate. You look back at him, see his guilty expression, and grab his hand to pull him into a standing position. 

"Maybe we should take this to my room instead," you chuckle. 

You lead him to your bedroom, just a few steps away. He follows behind you, enveloping you in a back-hug, head on your shoulder as you struggle to shuffle your way into the room. 

"I love you." He mumbles near your ear. 

"Moving so fast? We just confessed."

"It's not like I haven't said it before! And plus..." 

You know that it's because its meaning has changed now that you reply back, "I love you too."

Today’s characters: Rose / Arturo

(I did 10 Rose headcanons and 6 Roseturo headcanons because I think it could be cute. Yes I know they haven’t canonly interacted much but shhhh)

Rose Headcanons

- Agender.

- Doesn’t mind any pronouns being used.

- Her sexuality is unlabelled, she focuses more on personality than the actual gender of people.

- Collects plushies that remind them of people they know.

- Can and will sleep for as long as possible to avoid having to think about her current reality.

- Sleeping to avoid reality is something that started after getting their family into debt with her art forgery.

- Currently prefers decorating cookies as an art form since they’ll be eaten/destroyed anyway, so it doesn’t matter that they don’t belong to him.

- Rose likes oil paints because they’re easy to smudge and mess up. (thank you Kat :> )

- She has a couple differently-coloured berets, but she prefers the black one because it was given to her by her siblings.

- Rose was happy when Nico asked him to teach them how to paint, since people don’t usually ask that. It was nice for them to help make art without it belonging to someone else for once.

Arturose (Beauty Sleep) Headcanons

- Bonding over the fact that they inadvertently ended up hurting their families by pursuing their Ultimate Talents.

- Rose asked Arturo to teach her how to treat people medically since if her actual talent brought destruction, maybe a side talent could bring her healing.

Caine posting section cause he’s my special intrest

satisfaction Caine wise 10/10

first the elephant in the room as Caine’s #1 fan yep still his number one fan! Serial Designation N killed tons of people yet nobody in the fandom cares, and Caine doesn’t get people well so he had no ill intention. rlly my opinion of him has not changed he’s still my silly lil goober no matter what he does. i’ve always known he will do horrible things and been expecting this to happen ever since Pomni gave the idea to bring him to the circus. Gummigoo had a sir pentious like death so i wouldn’t be surprised if we see him again.

Why so serious. So anyway howdy my freaky fellows, today I'm gonna be doing 4-5 sentence (Probably more. Do I even know myself?) rants about games/series/franchises that have changed my life. You know this. You read the title. Obviously. Unless you didn't. Then you're stupid. Stupid dummy dum-dum.

[CLEARS THROAT AGGRESSIVELY]

So we're gonna start with a game that I stumbled upon accidentally and has made a huge mark on my life and honestly my personality as well.

DIALTOWN:

WOWZERS, THIS GAME WAS INCREDIBLE. I didn't even MEAN to find it, I was looking for DDLC and I searched 'dating sim' on steam and it popped up. I thought "fuck it, I'm buyin' it" and now here I am. I spent half of my summer staying up until morning just trying to get all of the endings and achievements, and holy shit was it worth it. That game made me laugh and sob and scream into my pillow all in the span of 5 minutes. Chapter three was incredible, the emotions you can convey without even seeing facial expressions is honestly so awesome to me. Norm is a HUGE comfort character for me. (I GOT HIM IN THE SOULMATE QUIZ‼️) I'm so excited for the DLC to come out, and hopefully I'll get the Mingus plushie and any more that get re-released or any new ones!

Next is another game (or game trilogy, I suppose) that I didn't really mean to come by. Luckily I have a stupid brother that introduces me to things I never thought I'd enjoy.

DAYSHIFT AT FREDDY'S:

Wow, would you look at that, another game series by the hound himself! Now, I didn't have a computer until about half a year ago. Got one for my birthday. I found out about this game LONG before Dialtown. So it took me a while to actually play the game. But I had seen fanart, playthroughs, analysis...es? And a lot more. I was obsessed with davesport for months before I even got to play the game. But when I finally did play it, I was SO excited, and for good reason. This game got me into FNaF fangames, and introduced me to my weird thing for phone men. The third game made me sob my eyes out the first time I played it through the good ending. Yet another example of a game that had me giggling one moment and bawling the next. WHY DO YOU WISH FOR ME TO SUFFER, DOGGO??/silly (ily man. keep doin the do.)

Up next is THE original.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S:

Wow. Now THIS is a game that left a mark on me. Got me into indie horror. I first played the game with my brother when I was like 6 I think?? It scared the piss outta me then, but over the years I learned to love it. I damn sure made a lot of cringe fanart when I was like 10..... But hey, it was fun. I kinda miss those times, even if I was seen as extremely weird for it. Thanks for years of fun, Scott. Couldn't have made it through life in my household without you.

Up next is my ALL TIME FAVORITE SIDE-SCROLLER.

CUPHEAD:

I love this game SO much. I first watched my dad play it on his computer, and he let me make my own save file! I wasn't very good for a long time, and I'll be honest, I'm still not exactly a professional. But it's fun, and practice makes perfect, right? I always chose Mugman, while my brother chose Cuphead. We would pretend we were the characters, and it was one of the only times I ever used to bond with him. Thanks for bringing me and my goober brother closer together, Cuphead.

MINECRAFT:

This game at least deserves a sentence or two. It's still one of my favorite games to play when I need to relax. I love making worlds with my siblings and building silly stuff with them.

ANIMAL CROSSING:

I spent weeks on this game. Probably even months. Maybe even a year or two. I don't play it as much anymore, but I still like to visit my island and see how my little villagers are doin every once in a while. Still pissed that I could never find Raymond, though. I tried so many times to find that silly little cat. I still do every so often. I'll get you eventually, Raymond. Mark my words.....

Moving on from games now. Let's talk about TELEVISION!

GRAVITY FALLS:

Wow. Just wow. What is there to even say? I love this show so very much. It makes me cry every time without fail. The fandom has its bad sides, but overall I love being apart of it. The Stan twins are my beloved babies and I will never let them go.

RISE OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES:

Now THIS is a show that left a HUGE mark on me. Hell, I even changed my name to Donnie for almost a year... I don't like to think about this phase. But this show is amazing, it was the reason I'm friends with a lot of my friends to this day. It deserves to get a re-run, even more seasons. Top tier show, would recommend.

EDDSWORLD:

This show HEAVILY influenced my artstyle and a lot of my general humor. I've been obsessed with it off and on for a few years now, and it's a great show. It's silly and fun, and it's ALSO a reason I'm friends with a few of my best friends.

He’s 10 years old.

Nykui’s pronouns are he/him.

His height is 3’3 feet tall (please, if someone is reading my Ocs heights… have patience with me: i totally have 0 idea of how tall or short these are… just know that Oliver is shorter than the average height pattern for guys, Nykui is smaller than Oliver and Emilly is the tallest between them…)

He is surprisingly Brazilian despite the Japanese name, lol

His comfort zone: …his little hideout in the middle of the woods… (he has a treehouse… his bed is a grocery cart he managed to steal…) (and before you ask me how he managed to bring a cart up into a treehouse… he has his ways…); his comfort food: bungeoppang or bao; his comfort objects: a blankie and a small dog plushie; his comfort characters: . . .just any dad or mom figure he can look up to…; his comfort drink: ramune sodas (he likes collecting the bottles and shaking the little marbles inside, lol) and his comfort dessert: bolinhos de chuva aka cinnamon sugar beignet.

He may be very weak (considering he is a child), but he makes up the lack of strength with agility and witty ability.

He’s an orphan neko boy who never met his mother and his father died when he was 7… he absolutely LOATHES the idea of living in an orphanage thanks for the discrimination he suffered thanks for his heterochromatic eyes and… his mixed race…

His one and only phobia is… monophobia/eremophobia…

He is a little rascal and hellion: since he doesn’t want to be on an orphanage (he escaped two now), he lives inside the forest of the small town Telltown…

He only steals food or a few toys to entertain himself with…

His main goal is… to find someone who wants him…

Here’s some fun facts about Nykui:

Since he is a little troublemaker to most townsfolk, he doesn’t get along with Charlie… (she doesn’t do anything to jeopardize him… she only picks him up and takes him out of the store he was stealing from… or she grabs him by the back of his coat when he’s pickpocketing people… of course he scratches her good and run away as quickly as he can… and she only sighs in a disapproving manner…)

Nykui is very stubborn and easily tricked when you use the right words with him… he’s not naive, but if you offer what he craves most, you’ll mostly likely will have his attention…

Thanks to his cuteness and trickery, he can fool a lot of tourists that come to Telltown.

His best friend is Lena: she’s nice with him…

He also likes Oliver and Emilly: Oliver always offers him their house for him to sleep on cold winters and makes the best cinnamon sugar beignets when it rains :). And Emilly… even though she acts sometimes a little Tsundere-ish, she has a soft spot for the neko child… like secretly giving him some of the pastries of the cafe she works on.

I really like to think that Nykui managed to convince Carter, Charlie’s brother, to build the treehouse for him muehehe~ >:3

I’m going to post a “little” (may or may not be actually a long-ass fanfic but oh well) fanfic about his relationship with Phantasmo… i’ll leave you all in suspense~ Muahahaha! >:D

She owns 2 rats. One is named Gwen whole the other is called Kangaroo. She chills with them around the house minus in the kitchen due to the house rules. More often than not, they are in the pouch she made so she could have them with her safely.

She loves to knit. It relaxes her and also she can make hats and pouches for her rats and also some gloves. In fact she sells some of her stuff at craft fairs and earns a good profit.

She thinks back to when she was in the crowd and was lost in it, unable to get home. This leads her to a panic attack so she decides to never go to another one. If there is one at her home, she will hide in her room and just watch movies with her rats

She doesn't like to admit it as she knew her brother would tease her if she admitted it. She also didn't want to be seen as any more weird by her classmates. She is already teased for her rats, knitting and being a theatre kid. Also how she doesn't like to party.

She is more female-leaning, but she is bisexual. When she came out to her parents, she was supported... then her mom said she couldn't have girls in her room overnight too. Katie was embarrassed but didn't say anything as she was just happy she was accepted. She was scared to come out to her best friend however as she was 14-15 and knew how people could be

She loves plushies

She has a collection of plushies from series she likes as well as a lot of rat plushies. She cuddles them at night and brings them to watch films with her. She doesn't mind the teasing her family gives her, she just loves to hold something.

She has 10 blankets! Her family thinks it's insane but they allow her to have as many blankets as she wants. She uses them all anyway. They also get her a blanket once a year for Christmas and birthdays. They love how she looks at the blankets.

She loves how they cover her up. She also likes how they are warm and don't care if she looks lazy. She loves her comfort after all. Also it gives freedom for her rats.

If I’m being honest, I have been more into just listening to music during my free time more than anything and while I read a lot of manga, my goldfish brain would blank out if someone were to ask me anything about it. However, I will tell you my list of definite rewatch/reread series though some of them are pretty old or obscure.

My Top 10 (in no particular order)

Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun (manga/anime)

At first, I watched it mainly for the fun aesthetics (cute colourful characters with spooky backgrounds) but I fell in love with the characters and world-building of this series. The whole cast, be it main or supporting, are absolutely amazing and capable of running a story arc of their own even without the main cast which is seriously impressive. And while the anime only just scratched the surface, the author really built the setting of this series with great thought, with its own politics, history, systems, and culture that impacts the story well. No random fact is without purpose and I love it.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (manga/anime)

I’ve been watching anime since I was 4 so I can confidently say that I’m familiar with many classic anime tropes and cliches. This series is like a kudos to longtime anime fans with its jokes and jabs as it follows a strong psychic boy being absolutely done with the insanity of his life as he tries to keep his powers a secret from his schoolmates like a sports anime jock, a shojou girl, delinquent gone good, etc. The comedy coming from this deadpan omnipotent high school student is just an absolute delight. I kin Saiki so much

Nope (movie)

I’m a real fan of horror movies, especially those with undertones that bring a critical element to humanity. While I love all of Jordan Peele’s current works, Nope has got to be one of my favourite movies overall. I’ve heard of some of the criticisms people had with the film (pretty ironic ones too) but I personally love the pacing and suspense of the film. While it’s fun to watch monsters and killers get crazy from the get-go (that’s why Saw movies and slasher films were popular) but Nope touched on that all-too-real fear of not knowing what’s going to happen. That fear where you’re afraid but you’re not sure of what yet.

Petshop of Horrors (manga/anime) and the sequel Neo Petshop of Horrors (manga)

Speaking of horror with critical undertones, I was obsessed with this manga series that came out in the late 90s. I would try so hard to find a way to read this series every chance I could growing up. It’s a sorta episodic style story that stars a mysterious petshop owner that often becomes a suspect in the deaths of people who have bought animals from his shop. I love the philosophy of each new story that touches on humanity and how different (or similar) we are to animals. It questions our societal norms, expectations, base desires, mythology, what it means to live, and what is “acceptable” in our world. Unfortunately, the series was never fully translated and only published fewer copies than typical manga series due to reasons I’m not too sure of (possibly conflicts with ownership and company copyrights at the time, think Baccano situation). The series had an anime but even that anime only had 4 episodes (I still highly recommend it however). I’ve managed to get a few volumes for myself and I know people are selling certain volumes online but I have to save for essentials so collecting them is unfortunately a lower priority now.

Pokémon (video game/manga/anime)

Is this a cop-out? Nah. To this day, I would still have to physically fight myself to not buy plushies and games when I’m already broke af. Pokémon might be one of the first animes I have ever seen (I have seen both sub and dub because my brother found a way) and I would still on occasion go back to rewatch literally any season and any movie of theirs, Nintendo really hit the marketing jackpot with this franchise. The creativity and design are so iconic and memorable that it’s so easy and fun to get into the fantasy of going on an adventure with your favourite Pokémon. There’s of course some nostalgia at play since I loved the moments where my older brother would watch the movies with me and my cousin and I would collect the figurines together.

One Piece (manga/anime)

Is this also a cop-out? Don’t care. I LOVE ONE PIECE! I will sacrifice my time and tears for this series. I have legitimately managed to rewatch this 4 times in my life (granted I started when it only had 400+ episodes so I had an easier time) and I would willingly cry over a flashback, a whale, even a boat over and over again. The action and story-telling of this series just keeps me running back for more even if I keep meeting dumb gatekeepers (yea, people don’t believe me when I tell them I’m a One Piece fan, what are ya gonna do?) I haven’t watch the Netflix live action yet but I probably will once I get my friends to watch with me (I like to fangirl with friends~)

Forget my Husband, I’ll Go Make Money (manhwa)

Despite my blog probably being best known for the villain/ess series, the banner of my blog is not an isekai villainess story but a fantasy series where a woman who can see the past, present, and future tries to make money while being married to a foreign prince before expecting a divorce (because she assumed he rather marry for love than for political reasons). Fun fact, this series was actually one of the foundations when I was writing the villain/ess story for Leona. The art and main couple are just absolutely delightful, I can’t help but reread it as it returns for a new season. Not only is the art just gorgeous, the main couple is just so gosh darn entertaining with their conversations, personal dynamics, and hilarious misunderstandings. Just beautiful.

Hotel Del Luna (K-drama)

Leave it to my interest in horror to love a romance drama with ghosts in it. It’s funny, it’s cute, and some of the ghost’s backstory is heartbreaking as well. This is a great story to just have a nice cry out. I love the story, I love the music, but most importantly, I love IU! She is my queen and every scene she is in, she kills me with her fashion, her haughty character, and her tragic backstory. She and the male lead was such a fun twist of the typical k-drama relationship where she was the powerful but broken character who ended up being healed by the kind, hardworking character. I've watched this 3 times at this point, but I still cry Every. Single. Time. No exceptions.

Hell Girl (anime/manga)

If I haven’t sold you on how I was probably that kid with creepy interests, maybe this will convince you. This was my go-to show back when I was in middle school. There is no excuse, I just really love the psychological horror of this series. In the show, there is a website you can access at midnight where you can ask Ai or Hell Girl to send your most hated person to hell, with the price that you will go there too when you die. While there was a linear storyline in the background, the episodes were always new people who requested Ai’s help with different cases of their own hell on earth. It touches on some really heavy real-life topics but what made it memorable to me was how sometimes I would feel saddened by the choices the people in the show made. Sometimes, they’re in the situation where all they can do is curse someone to hell but then was it really worth losing your chance at a happier afterlife? I watched this show with some of my friends who either saw Ai as a villain for sending people to hell, or a saviour who helped these people find an escape from their torturer, and that honestly made me think about what it means to have that much hate in you. I always wondered if I was ever in that situation, what would I do if given the chance?

Big Hero 6 (movie)

Arguably the first Marvel-Disney movie since Disney bought Marvel, I remembered people having weird thoughts on the usually cartoony company taking over the superhero franchise but I fell in love with everything that was this movie. It had Marvel-style action mixed with classic Disney wholesomeness and gut-wrenching emotional moments. I loved the message and warmth that was in this movie. Having an older brother myself, I couldn’t imagine how I could go on if I lose him but watching Hiro being so well supported by Baymax and his friends cemented within me the importance of helping others and that supporting those in pain can be as powerful as stopping bad guys (sappy, I know but hey I’m now learning to be a preschool teacher so this really stuck with me). Tadashi’s recorded message brings me so much comfort that I didn’t realize I needed. He may have been the closest thing to a Disney crush for me.

Francis and Arthur get way too competitive and it’s usually ended by Alfred and Kiku sharing a win (RUSAME WARNING) while Ivan applauds his little dumbass golden retriever husband ( Alfred)

Romano has green thumb (for like all flowers) so Francis and Arthur both come crawling to him for advice on how beat the other (they’re trying to grow flowers better and the other) and they pay him. This is how he makes money.

Whenever the adults have to go a party they make Kiku and Yao babysit. The kids have gotten so attached to the point where they call them big bro Kiku and big bro Yao.

Francis and Arthur both are addicted to Starbucks so they have get up early and drive together and they usually spend at least 5 min arguing about who drives.

Alfred and Ivan have a cat. His name is hero and he is a random stray that they found one day. We’re pretty sure he’s like half golden retriever because he sure acts like one.

Iceland has a little puffin plushie he calls mr puffin ( this au’s version)

Matthew will command his polar bear to bite you if you steal one of his garden gnomes (kumajiro is the polar bear)

The garden gnomes Matthew keeps represent people in the neighborhood. (Not like voodoo just like keepsakes)

Kiku is always trying to share his theories with everyone that stops by. If you’re unlucky you might be dragged into his house and be forced to listen to the entire lore of fnaf.

Whenever Yao’s cousins/younger siblings come over they always have a house party and they usually bring over some of the weirdest things they found online or on the streets as presents. Ex. leon once brought a lucky cartoon cat head (the lucky cats that wave their paws) that you could attach to a hook.

Alfred has a list of dumb laws that he has broken ex.sitting on the church steps at 10:00pm and eating a porkchop. It’s his hobby.

Alfred has been caught for using various unethical modes of transportation to drive but the cops haven’t arrested him because they can’t catch up to him.

Sealand and Iceland have a dress up darling rivalry (the game)

Alfred is wanted by the police in portugal.

If you knock on Ivan and Alfred’s door depending on who’s there you will get different results. Alfred (no Ivan) : he’ll let you borrow his skateboard or he’ll give you some fresh baked cookies. Ivan (no Alfred) : he’ll invite you in and tell you a story. If they’re both there : Alfred will offer you fresh baked apple pie with vanilla ice cream while Ivan tells you a story.

We just got home from seeing a play. There is something I really like about experimental theater. I am really glad we went. But today was a really long day and I am very tired right now.

I was super super anxious about the field trip today. I was super concerned about the communication from the school and was still unsure if the parents would be coming at 9. I tried to remain positive but it was a struggle. I was legit not having a good time.

I also didn't sleep amazing because of that. I fell asleep pretty easily but I woke up a lot. And struggled to fall back asleep. And when I had to get up at 7 I was just. Not thrilled.

James was right there and gave me a good hug. It helped me feel slightly better.

I washed my face and got dressed and I am very glad I wore layers. Because it was cold today! Actually cold! And it would get colder throughout the day. I was very happy to have more things to put one, but the tights under my overalls was the best decision I made.

James walked out with me. They liked my outfit. Said I was back "on your Wes Anderson bullshit". Which made me laugh. And wished me luck. I did not have high hopes.

I did have a new podcast episode to listen to though. And that made the drive in nice, even if everyone was driving stupid today.

I got to camp right before 8. It was damp and cold. Even though it was all wet out we were still under a burn ban for a few more hours. So no bonfire today. That would be alright, though we all would have enjoyed the warmth.

I got my schedules printed out and collected my walkies. And checked all the stations. Got them set up. And went to the lodge.

Once I was set up there I had mostly calmed down and wasn't as miserable. I had brought some sewing with me and would work on closing 16 plushies throughout the day. Amazing. I felt so productive.

While I was sitting at the table working on closing a bunny, two parents came in! They were on time! And the majority of the parent volunteers would come on time!

They had a wild amount of parents. 24! Plus the 10 chaperones. So many people. I realized pretty quick it was because this was kindergarten and for a lot of them, it was their first kid, and their first field trip. Don't want to miss that experience for sure. Very sweet.

I gave the parents a small intro, and walked them to their sites. I split tools and dwellings, so 3 at each of them, but up to 6 at the other 3 stations. It took me almost exactly a half hour to my get them all settled. Sarah would run some extra schedules and an extra walkie over, which was greatly appreciated. And then I headed to the lodge.

The bus would come exactly on time! I met with the assistant principal and got the kids off the bus. I was very impressed with this group. Super punctal and good listeners.

We did my intro and got them into groups and I lead them to their sites. And we started exactly on schedule! Incredible.

Because everything was still wet I found a rock to sit on. And I would do a whole lot of sewing. I'm the groups were doing great and I didn't have to walk around to much. Which was nice because my body was feeling strange.

I would not describe it as feeling pregnant. I would honestly say I was not feeling pregnant. I was just feeling off. Odd. I think maybe possibly I was feeling more flutters inside. But I was also just very in my head. I feel stressed about everything. But man, is it hard to not know what's happening inside of my body. I can't wait to get my next ultrasound just to feel some amount of comfort.

Lunch would need to be extended. Which was fine, I had extra time in the schedule. And it benefited me because they ordered pizza! And brought pumpkin pie!! They ordered a lot of extra pizza to do I got plenty, sitting on the counter in the kitchen. And got to bring a full box to the office to share with Alexi, Heather, Sarah, and Elizabeth.

I hung out in the kitchen and pushed the schedule and once they were done eating we walked them all to their stations and got back to sewing.

I finished the 16 plushies and got 2 new ones worked on. I didn't do any more because by then my fingers were frozen. It was starting to rain just a bit. And I would walk back to my car to get my coat and put my sewing away.

I went and waited for the last part of the program and once all the kids were back and I had communicated with my station leaders about clean up, it was basically time to go!!

I gave a little goodbye, we did the quiz, which I realize I need to change slightly. But it's all good. It was fun. It was a very good trip.

Once they were gone, Sarah would come over to help me breakdown the lodge. It took a while but it was nice chatting. She got a new car. And I have not been around much so it was nice to hear about life.

Once we were done cleaning I brought my stuff to the car, gave Sarah the pizza and the tote bag of walkie talkies to take to the office, and I drove around to make sure everything was packed how. No more field trips until March!

I hung out in the office for a little. Just checking in and chatting with Heather and Elizabeth. About baby and the holidays. I miss hanging out with them for sure.

But it was time for me to go. I was getting tired. It is hard being so cold and then being in the warm car. Very much makes me want to go to sleep. But I powered through. And got home, through the bad traffic, a little before 4.

I would change into my date night look and got in bed. I half wanted to sleep but we had reservations at 530. So no sleeping, just resting.

When James got back they would take a few minutes to catch their breath and change. At and 5 we headed downtown. Traffic was still very bad. But not a big deal.

Dinner was really good. I always love Brewers Art. And it was just nice talking and the food was good. We talked about fears, and the holidays. James ordered our Christmas tree and I'm excited to decorate next week, after Thanksgiving. We talked about traditions we want to be able to do with our baby. And how we can learn and grow and do good by her based on our we were raised. I feel really lucky to have a partner that I feel on the same page with.

During dinner we realized that the play we were going to started at 8 and not 7. So we had some time to waste. We got creme brulee. It would have been better if the whole thing was warm and not just the top, but it was still nice.

We went for a little walk. Went and checked out the new farmers market I'm going to be doing on the 5th. Ran into the olive oil man from the monkton music festival from earlier this year! It was so nice to see him and talk shop. I also got to meet the market manager, Joe. I am glad I got eyes on the space, and that there is a security guard. Though James will probably still come through to check on me since it'll be dark.

We walked to the theater and would just chat with the director Chris and hung out on the couch for an hour. Ann and Tucker came. And Parker and Lily from creative alliance were there too! It was nice chatting and I was in a good mood.

It was a sad show. Sort of. It was a show with the main character, Aunt Sonia, was a puppet. A life sized puppet. It was a little scary but also super impressive. Sonia was choosing to die, euthanasia. And how the family dealt with those emotions. It was truly a beautiful story. With someone just tried making a choice. And like the reminder that in this type of situation, the sadness would still be there, but the gift of getting to say goodbye on your terms is powerful.

I enjoyed the show a lot. And it was nice that it was only an hour. I was aching a bit. I was glad to get out of the theater seat.

We chatted in the lobby for a little. But soon there were hugs all around and we were going home.

We got to the car and I was moaning about about not feeling amazing. I had been crunched up and now I was stretched out and was not comfortable. I was really glad we were going home.

We were able to get a good parking space. And I was just really happy to be home.

We would hug on Sweetp. And turn all the lights off. I got a quick shower. And we are winding down now. I am really tired. Physically and mentally. I am very glad I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow.

It may snow a little tomorrow. I would love to see some flurries. And finish some more plushies. I hope it's a restful day.
