You awoke with a smile playing on your lips, excited about the day ahead of you. You've been organizing the event for several weeks! After all, the devil butler who stole your heart deserved nothing but an unforgettable and perfect day.
The day was spent preparing with the demon brothers: Lucifer ensured that the preparations went smoothly; Mammon supported you with ideas, albeit most of them were quite... strange to say the least; Levi had brought in his skills in digital design for decorations—to everyone's surprise, but he's mainly doing it for you; Satan had a collection of rare books he thought the butler might enjoy; Asmo had someone make a lavish birthday outfit for your lover; Beel offered to help with the catering along with Belphie, but the latter is mostly there to keep his twin from eating everything.
Even with the eldest on the lookout for mischief, things were a little hectic, which is unavoidable when seven brothers gather together. The Purgatory residents also helped make the pastries—except Solomon, you did not want to kill Barbatos with his biohazard dishes. You ensured that everything was going along as planned and that every aspect was excellent and to his satisfaction.
As the sun began to fall, the space changed into a spectacular party site. The decorations shone, the aroma of great food filled the air, and everyone was dressed to impress. When the birthday boy entered the room with a cloth covering his eyes, he was taken aback when he saw his new surroundings.
"Happy birthday, Barbatos!" All shouted in unison.
His usually controlled face shattered, giving way to a warm smile as he took in the scene. You felt a sense of pride rush over you; after all, you had arranged this for him. The brothers helped, but you pushed them into it. Although this is not his first birthday celebration, it is undoubtedly one of the most memorable.
"Did you... made all of this?" You nodded bashfully as he took your hand.
"The brothers and angels helped as well, shouldn't take all of the credit." He hummed delightfully, his smile never wavering.
Throughout the evening, laughter and joy filled the air. Barbatos was touched by the effort his friends as well as yours had put into his celebration. As the night wore on, he found himself alone with you.
"I hope you enjoyed your birthday, Barb." His eyes twinkled as he looked at you.
"This has been a truly remarkable day, my dear. You've all made me feel incredibly cherished." Your heart throbbed at his words.
"I'm glad! But there's one more thing I have for you~" You handed him a small, wrapped gift, separate from the one you gave him earlier.
He smiled softly as he began unwrapping it, soon in his plan, was a carefully crafted pocket watch with an engraved message that held a special meaning between you and him.
"I..." He slid a gloved thumb over the smooth surface of the pocket watch, "I cannot express how grateful I am for this.. wonderful celebration," he looked like a kid as he spoke, "Your effort touched my heart deeply, my dear."
"I'm glad you enjoyed it, Barb!" You smiled proudly.
"But..." There was a sudden shift in his tone and it garnered your attention, "there's still something I want to give you in return for your kindness today..." He reached out to your chin, lifting it up.
"...What is it?" You were quite unsure what he was doing but when he leaned in, his lips brushing against your ear, you had an idea.
"My gratitude, it's only expressed in a way that only you will witness," The suggestive undertone in his voice made your breath stuck in your throat. "Only you will feel..." He closed the gap between you, capturing your lips in a passionate kiss.
The world seemed to fade away as you lost yourselves in the intoxicating sensations. As your lips parted, his eyes held a soldering intensity.
"Don't think I'll just let you off that easily..." His lips traced along your jaw. "The true celebration only just began."

birthday girl
Wednesday Addams x Reader
This story belongs to the Sweet Calamity universe
Summary: Wednesday tries to make something special for your birthday.
A/N: A sweet little thing for my favorite universe. And also as a birthday gift for my dear friend @eviekensington. <3
Masterlist
Tumblr media
It was a day like any other; the sun was peeking through the clouds, your colleagues had sour faces in the morning, your girlfriend's hand was warm in yours.
Just a normal Thursday.
Or at least you hoped it would be.
You were walking out of your last class with Wednesday, talking with her about the upcoming test. Well, you were talking, she was listening and humming along.
The day went by as normal, the sun just a few hours short of setting, and no one had acknowledged it was your birthday yet.
Just how you liked it.
Honestly, it's not that you don't like when people remember your birthday, you do — it shows they care. Yet the sometimes overwhelming attention that comes with it is not exactly something you love.
One person wishes you a happy birthday and suddenly there are people you don't even know pulling you into a hug to do the same. It feels like the spotlight is on you for the whole day. That, you don't like.
To avoid things like that, you preferred to keep it a secret. Though this year there's something different; you had your soulmate with you. A soulmate who's very good at uncovering secrets.
"I happened to forget my hunting knife at the ballroom," Wednesday suddenly interrupted your rambling, "would you accompany me to get it?"
"Uh-" you didn't know what she was doing with a hunting knife at the school's ballroom in the first place, but there was no reason for saying no to spending more time alone with her, "yeah, of course."
Wednesday gave you a barely there smile and squeezed your hand before pulling you along.
Maybe you should have expected it, what with the way she was being all secretive today, dodging your attempts at making plans for later and sending texts to someone whilst in class — you barely saw Wednesday touch her cellphone on a normal day; that should've been reason enough for you to guess something was off.
You pushed open the ballroom doors and were immediately greeted with chantings of happy birthday. Enid, Ajax, Bianca, Yoko, Divina, Xavier, Eugene, and many others of your friends occupied a small portion of the big ballroom; there was a table with a cake and drinks on top of it and a haphazard cut-out birthday sign taped to the wall along with a few balloons.
Placing a hand over your racing heart, you looked at Wednesday beside you, she had a glint of pride in her eyes.
"You weren't assuming I was unaware, right?" She smirked, then motioned for you to walk further into the ballroom, "you can thank Enid for the party."
You didn't have much time to answer before Enid was pulling you into a bone-crushing hug; "happy birthday, Y/n." She pulled back, half-heartedly glaring at you, "I can't believe you weren't going to tell me it's your birthday."
"Well, I-" you started with a timid chuckle.
"No matter," the werewolf kept going, a bright smile on her lips that you couldn't help but copy, it did feel nice to have people who cared. "Wednesday found out just in time."
Enid was also the first to give you a present after all of your friends hugged you; it was a large pink box that had a knitted sweater inside it, the fabric unbelievably soft, in shades of purple and lilac — it was bound to become your favorite.
For what felt like hours you ate, drank, received gifts, and celebrated with your friends. It was nice — until the attention became overwhelming, until you were craving some fresh air.
Luckily, you had someone who apparently could read you like an open book.
You were putting away your empty cup when you felt nimble fingers touching your elbow. Her presence so familiar to you that you didn't even need to turn to see who it was — your soul knew the shape of hers already — but you did anyway, pursing your lips in a smile.
"Are you not enjoying your festivities, mi flor?" Wednesday spoke with a softness reserved for you only.
"I am, really I am," you reassured a little too urgently, biting your lip when all you got from her in response was a raised eyebrow telling you to be honest. "It's just- I don't like much attention on me as is, and here, I feel like all eyes are on me."
Wednesday hummed, her brows scrunched in thought, "Enid said to me that's what you'd like when I told her I wanted to do something for today. I apologize."
You could swoon. You wanted to kiss away the little pout on Wednesday's lips — so you did, you cupped her face with one hand and gave a peck to her lips; "don't apologize, I loved it. Just the fact that you thought of doing something already means everything to me."
The dimmed lights of the ballroom almost hid the blush on her pale cheeks. Almost. Her fingers trailed down your arm, creating goosebumps on your skin until her hand found yours, "come with me."
"What about them?" You glanced at your friends. They were laughing with each other and stuffing themselves with cake.
"They won't mind."
With her hand in yours, Wednesday took you all the way to the lake just outside the school walls, its water was glistening with the fading sunlight and the few leaves on the trees were rustling with the cold wind. It was gorgeous, straight out of a painting.
She sat down with you on the wooden deck, both your feet just short of touching the water.
"This better?" Wednesday asked, her eyes expectant on you.
"Yeah," you intertwined your fingers with hers and brought her hand up to kiss her knuckles, "it's the best."
Wednesday knew you loved all things nature, she reprimanded herself for this not being her first option. Though you genuinely looked happy, with a soft smile permanent on your lips and the golden sunset reflecting in your eyes.
You watched in blissful silence as the sun slowly disappeared behind the mountains, your thumb gently tracing the skin on your girlfriend's hand.
"Thank you, this really is the best birthday," you said quietly so as to not disturb the atmosphere around you.
You felt Wednesday's eyes on you, "because you're here," you told her. Despite being true, your own words made you smirk as you waited for the reaction you knew they'd cause.
"That's nauseating," Wednesday grumbled, tugging at your hand so it would rest on her lap.
"You love it," you bumped her shoulder with yours, stretching your feet to kick the water underneath you.
Wednesday held back a smile. She did love it.

Hiiii!! Can you write one with Barış where him and reader have been together since childhood basically and showing how they’ve always been supportive of one another. Like she’s been to almost all his games and he’s there when she graduates and they are just madly in love with each other and everyone sees it too
LOVE THROUGHOUT THE YEARS - BARIŞ ALPER YILMAZ
Your relationship with Barış throughout the years
Barış Alper Yılmaz x fem! reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿
We were just kids when we first met, barely old enough to understand what love was, let alone what it would grow into.
Barış was the boy next door, always with a soccer ball at his feet and a cheeky grin on his face.
We spent our days running around the neighborhood, getting into all sorts of adventures.
Even back then, there was something special between us, a connection that everyone around us noticed.
As we grew older, that connection only deepened. We went to the same schools, shared the same group of friends, and were practically inseparable.
When Barış joined the local soccer team, I was there at every practice, sitting on the sidelines with a book in hand, but always looking up to watch him play.
His passion for the game was infectious, and I loved seeing the joy it brought him.
By the time we were teenagers, our bond had evolved into something more than friendship. It happened so naturally, neither of us could pinpoint exactly when it shifted.
But one day, we were holding hands, walking home from school, and it just felt right.
Barış started playing in bigger tournaments, and I was always there in the stands, cheering him on.
No matter how far the game was or how cold the weather, I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I remember the day his team made it to the regional finals.
The stadium was packed, and I could barely see over the heads of the other spectators, but when Barış scored the winning goal, he immediately turned to the crowd, searching for me.
When our eyes met, he pointed at me, his face lighting up with a smile that made my heart swell with pride.
“You’re my lucky charm,” he said, hugging me tightly after the match.
“And you’re my hero,” I replied, knowing there was nowhere else I’d rather be than by his side.
As we navigated high school, our relationship only grew stronger. We supported each other through everything—exams, family struggles, and the pressure of figuring out our futures.
When I decided to pursue my studies in literature, Barış was my biggest cheerleader, just as I was for him on the field.
Graduation day was one of the happiest days of my life, not just because of the milestone it represented, but because Barış was there, waiting for me outside the auditorium with a bouquet of flowers in hand. He had a game that evening, but he wouldn’t miss this for anything.
“You did it, aşkım,” he said, his voice full of pride as he handed me the flowers. “I’m so proud of you.”
“I couldn’t have done it without you,” I replied, feeling the weight of his words in my heart.
We had been through so much together, and it felt like we could conquer anything as long as we had each other.
That night, after his game, we sat under the stars, talking about our dreams and what the future might hold. There was never any doubt in my mind that whatever happened, we would face it together.
As we moved into adulthood, Barış’s soccer career took off. He started playing professionally, and with that came more travel and time apart.
But no matter how far away he was, we always found a way to stay connected. I traveled to his games whenever I could, and when I couldn’t, I watched them on TV, cheering him on from wherever I was.
Barış was there for me too. When I got my first job as a literary editor, he was the one who celebrated with me, popping a bottle of champagne in our tiny apartment.
And when I published my first book, he was front and center at the launch, telling everyone within earshot that his girlfriend was a published author.
Our friends and family often joked about how “madly in love” we were, but it was true. We had been through so much together, and our love had only grown stronger over the years.
We were each other’s biggest supporters, and everyone around us could see it.
Now, as we stand on the brink of a new chapter in our lives, I can’t help but reflect on how far we’ve come. We’ve grown up together, faced countless challenges, and celebrated each other’s victories.
Barış has become a star on the soccer field, and I’ve carved out a career as a writer, but through it all, our love has remained the constant.
And as we look toward the future, I know that whatever comes our way, we’ll face it together.
Because that’s what we’ve always done, from the time we were kids with scraped knees and big dreams, to now, as adults still madly in love, ready to take on the world hand in hand.
In the end, it’s not just about the games won or the books published. It’s about the moments we’ve shared, the laughter, the tears, and the unwavering support we’ve given each other.
Barış is my best friend, my biggest fan, and the love of my life, and I know that as long as we have each other, we can face anything the world throws our way.

Eddie Roundtree × Fem!Reader
✧.* requested by anon — Hey could u possibly do an imagine with Eddie where y/n is graham and Billy’s sister and she just tours with the band and like one day she’s just sitting out on her own lowkey on the verge of tears cause she’s scared of what Billy’s becoming with his addiction so Eddie sees her and holds her and they have a moment and start to get closer and more touchy with each other (cuddly) and when billy goes to rehab her and Eddie take a trip together to wherever (you decide) and then Eddie confesses that he’s in love with her and she also confesses? You can add whatever u want but that’s just the general basis of it.
✧.* summary — Your brother's addiction to drugs made you more and more worried about him, you looked for a way to make him better, and in that moment of anguish the person who supported you the most was Eddie. And over time your relationship grew into something more.
✧.* warnings — mention of drugs, addicted Billy, maybe some mistakes in the timeline of the book (sorry about that).
✧.* word count — 2.4k
✧.* 🎸 — Eddie's masterlist
✧.* mandy's notes — I love writing declarations of love, this one made my heart warm. Hope you like it <3
Tumblr media
Being the sister of two rockstars was the biggest wish of all those people who were screaming for The six out there, but for you your brothers were much more than rock stars, they were what kept you sane, your foundations. Billy, Graham and you were always very close, and since you were little you always took care of each other.
Your love for them was something so big that you didn't have words to explain, even with all the mistakes - especially Billy's - you weren't able to stay upset with them for long.So when they told you they were going to LA to further the band's career your heart almost broke at the thought of being away from them for so long. You then talked to your mother and with the help of your brothers you convinced her to let you go with them.
Being with them throughout this trajectory filled your heart with pride, you could hardly believe that at that moment you were backstage at one of their concerts that was sold out. Words weren't enough to express your pride in them, and seeing them wearing the clothes you made was even more rewarding.
However, as unfortunately not everything is always happiness, you had spent the last days of the tour extremely worried about Billy. The last few days he was clearly overindulging in drugs and booze, even bringing you flashbacks of your father… The fight with Camila had sparked a much bigger drug craving in the older Dunne, he couldn't seem to stop and it was more and more visible.
Graham Dunne: Y/N tried to warn me, but we didn't really understand what addiction was back then. I thought he would recover with time, that it was just a relapse.
Y/N Dunne: I knew he was in bad shape, I didn't recognize my brother anymore... And if I'm honest with you, I was terrified.
Billy was once again snorting another line of cocaine, and watching your big brother do this made your heart clench in frustration.
"Billy, don't you think it's enough?" Concerned, you approach him, touching his shoulder.
"Are you my mother now?" He says rolling his eyes, pulling away from you. "I know when to stop, you don't have to take care of me."
He says as he walks away from you, staggering a little while feeling the effect of what he used. Not knowing what to do, you sit down, worried about what it all could cause later, the consequences of it all. They had just played the last song, the crowd's celebration was thrilling, and you knew you couldn't stay to watch your brother tear himself apart like he always did at the end of every show.
So you decided to take some time alone, you needed to think about how to help him, and since Graham didn't want to instruct you or at least think of something to solve it, you felt helpless… It wasn't like you could call your mother for help, after all she was in Pittsburgh and Billy was old enough for her to be able to force him to stop.
Eddie had become one of your best friends over the years, you were very close and he knew your concern for Billy and how it was affecting you. He had thought and even tried to talk to Billy about it but as usual he didn't listen to the blonde, so all he could do was try to calm you down, make you feel better.
As soon as Roundtree comes down from the stage, his eyes look for you, when he notices your absence he starts to worry because he knew that you always liked to be there at the end of the shows to congratulate them.
"Warren, have you seen Y/N?" the bassist asks.
"No man, did something happen?" Rojas asks, noticing his friend's worried expression.
"Thank you" he says not answering the drummer's question, heading towards the open part of the place hoping to find you there.
It was already half past midnight, the moon lit the streets along with the streetlights and you cried when you thought about the state your brother was in, it's very difficult to see someone you love with all your heart and soul in a situation like that, and the fear of losing him became more and more alive in you.
You sobbed while letting the tears escape, it was as if you were getting rid of, or at least trying to, a weight that had tormented you for many days. You wanted to have the solution for Billy, you wanted to be able to help him but your hands were tied.
Eddie saw you sat with your hands on your face, his chest tightened to see you sad like that, he cared about you in a way he couldn't explain and he hated when anything made you feel bad. The bassist was in love with you for a long time, he loved every detail about you and would probably do anything to see you well.
He approaches you slowly, expecting you to notice his presence, but you didn't. Roundtree reaches out his arm to poke your shoulder, You wipe your tears in an attempt to hide it from whoever was there, but when you notice it was him you smile weakly shaking your head, showing him that you weren't fine… that you needed him there.
"Is it okay if I sit here?" He whispers, waiting for your confirmation.
"Of course Ed'' You reply, holding out your hand for him to take, which he does.
"I hate seeing you like this…" He says, lacing his fingers through yours. "What can I do to help you, love?"
You smile at the nickname, you two had this way of treating each other which you decided not to name, you had a relationship that with all the characteristics could be called loving, but the two of you for some reason didn't want to risk making things different by talking about.
You were very affectionate with each other, hugs, nights sleeping together, cuddling and sometimes some make out sessions.
"I wanted so much to help him Eddie" Without holding back the tears you say, laying your head on his shoulder. "I hate seeing him like this, I feel so useless"
"Oh my love, you do your best for him" He says, enveloping you in a hug where you knew you could feel safe. "If you want I can help you with that idea you had"
Last night while you were in bed, you told Eddie your idea to call Teddy Price to help Billy, you were sure he would listen if it was Price who told him to control himself. The only problem is that you had no contact with him, and you had no idea how to get in contact with him without Billy knowing.
You watch him closely, the tears in your eyes started to fall you felt so supported by him, you know he would always be there for you. Relieved you let out a sigh, hugging him tighter. He hugs you back, stroking your back assuring you as much as he can that he'll be always there for you.
"You can count on me for whatever you need." He says, placing a kiss on your head. "I'll talk to Warren, he might know his number or where he is."
"I don't even know how to thank you." Eddie noticed that you were much more relieved the more you talked.
"I know…" He says smiling, you take your gaze to him. "Let's rest? I want you to be at peace with all of this, I'll sort it out. Do you trust me?"
"With my life" You smile, planting a kiss on the bassist's cheek.
It had been a few weeks since Billy had been in rehab, and although the fact that he was away was something that made you anxious you knew it was for his own good and that was enough. With Billy's absence the shows were cancelled, and they had to pass back the money the record company gave them, and with this free time you all took the opportunity to take a break before looking for any job.
Warren was obsessed with the boats that were around there, and he didn't spend a day away from the beach to have any chance of getting on one. Graham spent half his time with Karen, and although they swore no one knew about them, you knew your brother… you knew he was madly in love with her.
And you were now packing your bags for a trip with Eddie, you didn't have a lot of money for an extraordinary trip, but when he told you the idea of going to a cabin just the two of you your eyes lit up with excitement. Eddie and you were in that friends-with-benefits thing, and although you wanted to make it official the fear of losing him spoke louder, after all Eddie was a rock star and rock stars didn't date seriously, you thought.
So besides the invitation to the trip that took you by surprise, you couldn't wait to be alone with him enjoying each other's company.
"Are you ready beautiful?" He asks, wrapping his arms around your waist.
"Almost Eddie, give me just a second" You open the closet, taking a few more things to complete your checklist. "Now I'm ready."
You turn to him, smiling with excitement the blonde places a kiss on your lips and looks you from head to toe
"You are wonderful..." He takes your hand, heading towards the exit with your bag in the other free hand.
After an hour of travel you arrived at the cabin, it was very cozy and would certainly be a great house for you that weekend. Inside, the decor was super characteristic, several vinyl records hanging on the walls, a fireplace with some armchairs around it. Upstairs is just the suite where you were going to sleep, you went up the stairs excitedly throwing yourself on the bed.
"Eddie this is amazing! I'm in love with everything here" You take your gaze to the window behind the bed, which had a wonderful view of the forest and lake beyond you.
"I'm glad you liked it my love" He lays down next to you on the bed, holding your hand he brings it to his mouth to kiss your knuckles. "It's always good to get away from problems with you"
You turn onto your stomach, looking tenderly at the blonde he smiles as he takes a closer look at your face, he was madly in love with you.
"If I could I would stay with you here forever" You approach him, kissing his nose. "So what? What are the plans for today?"
You and Roundtree had spent the afternoon enjoying each other's company, you danced together, he played a few songs while you ventured out to sing a little, then you decided to prepare things for dinner. And now, with only the moonlight illuminating you, the two of you were sitting in the cabin's backyard.
Just you and the noises of nature, you were sharing a bench you snuggled between the bassist's legs getting a cuddle from him, keeping your eyes closed. Eddie watches you, not believing that someone as wonderful as you was there with him, he didn't believe he was the lucky man who had the chance to hold you in his arms.
However, the thought that you could be with anyone else came to the blonde's mind after all... You weren't official. He knew you wouldn't do something without talking to him first, he trusted you, but the thought that someone could have the courage he didn't have to declare himself to you made him despair.
"I need to tell you something" The bassist says, making you open your eyes and watch him carefully.
"You can say it, I'm here for you." You say, smiling in an attempt to calm the boy who had a rapid heartbeat at this point. "You know I won't judge you or anything…"
"Y/N I can't pretend this doesn't affect me in a different way anymore" He lets out, making you startle at his choice of words.
"What do you mean?" You shift in the chair to look into his eyes.
"I can't pretend that I'm not in love with you baby." He concluded, now making your heart skip a beat. "I am in love with every detail that shapes you, I'm crazy about your smile, you're the most talented person I know, and also the kindest person ever...I mean, you can be nice to Billy! This is the hardest thing a human being can do."
He says making you laugh with the last sentence, slapping the bassist on the shoulder saying non-verbally "hey, that's my brother!"
"There is no one that makes me feel the way you do, and you know I'm terrible at showing what I feel, and even worse trying to put my feelings into words, but when it comes to you… fuck, Y/N! I can change the world just to see you smile" He says, bringing his hands to your waist, seeking closeness. "And I would never forgive myself if I let the best person in the world slip through my hands without even saying how I feel. I love you so much"
You can feel a few tears form in your eyes, an involuntary smile appears on your face when you hear those very beautiful words. Eddie Roundtree was the man that made you sigh, in many ways, he was the man that made you feel special, that made you feel safe, he was the person that would not only be there to help you, but to give you support in everything you set out to do. He was your special someone.
Without wasting time you end the distance between you with a kiss, your hands go towards the bassist's neck from time to time taking your fingers to the man's hair, he kisses you tenderly like he wants it to last forever, like he doesn't want to feel you far away anymore.
"I'm crazy for you Eddie" You confess, your foreheads were together while your eyes were closed. "I love you, and I'm in love with you too baby."
Y/N Dunne: Well, Billy was in for a big surprise when he got back from rehab. *Laughing* He was jealous for sure, but he knew deep down that there was no one who made me feel better than Eddie.
Eddie Roundtree: What can I say? I'm in love with her.

FINALLY read heal thyself as per your recommendation (it's been in my marked for later for months yet somehow I kept forgetting?) and it's just as amazing and beautiful as everyone said, cant believe I haven't read it sooner. There's no real purpose for this ask I just feel the need to gush about it with someone who I know understands😭❤️ but her draco is perfect, his characterization, redemption arc, it's everything I never knew I needed. Reading about his struggle and determination to be good—and finally being able to celebrate the rewards of his hard work was so touching? to witness... I literally had to take breaks because of how much this fic made me feel. Going to spend the rest of the night drowning in astolats fics
Tumblr media
Ahh anon your ask got me emo all over again, I love this fic so so much and I’m so pleased that you also felt transformed by it! Sharing this feeling of awe and mutual understanding about a fic with another reader is something really special. HT is hands down the best Draco arc I’ve read in years, which is not surprising if we consider not only Astolat’s talent but also the fact that this fic is 100% Draco-centric and for the most part of it there’s no Harry or romance to distract from his individual journey.
I love how you described his redemption path, the fact that for once he got to make a choice about his own life, then reaped the fruits of his hard work (and how brilliant is that he decides to pursue Healing out of pride and spite? So on brand 😂). I think you chose a perfect word to describe our experience “to witness…” that’s exactly how it felt, a privilege to watch him getting the nuance and character development he deserved. I appreciate that Astolat took the time to explore his arc over the span of a few years, it made his success and happy ending even more powerful and satisfying! I can’t think of a better way to spend the night than reading the rest of her catalogue, you’re in for a treat!
Lol okay you gave me an impossible mission there, I gotta say similar characterizations are very hard to find outside of Astolat’s work, her Draco is very peculiar after all. And I feel like HT is unparalleled way beyond his characterization. I’ve been in the fandom for two decades and have never read anything like it before or since. So leaving any comparison efforts aside I’ll suggest these, which have some of my favorite Draco arcs:
The Compact by astolat (E, 64k)
Hermione frowned. “The real question is why the magic of Britain would be failing now, in fact.”
A Young Radical's Guide to Love by blamebrampton (T, 66k)
Memories of the war are still fresh, which is all the excuse Decent People need to do appalling things. In this quietly waged conflict, Draco Malfoy is happy to be on the right side of things for once, and even happier to find he’s not alone.
Who we are in the shadows by quicksilvermaid (E, 100k)
What happens when you’re forced to become the very thing you despise? Ex-Auror Harry Potter, tossed out of the Ministry for something he had no control over, has been looking for a way back to his former life.
A Thousand Beautiful Things by geoviki (M, 104k)
Draco Malfoy struggles with changed fortunes, shifted alliances, an ugly war, and an unusual spell, with the help of a concerned professor, an insightful house-elf, and an unexpected Gryffindor friend.
What We Pretend We Can't See by gyzym (M, 131k)
Seven years out from the war, Harry learns the hard truth of old history: it’s never quite as far behind you as you thought.
By the Grace by lettered (T, 140k)
Harry is an Auror instructor. Malfoy wants to be an Auror.
And some short fics you might enjoy as well:
And Save Me From Bloody Men by blamebrampton (T, 10k)
Draco Malfoy once watched others fighting to stop the world falling apart. This time, he's not just watching.
Rebuilding Draco Malfoy by khasael (E, 11k)
Draco wants to do something to get his life back on track, but no-one seems to be taking him seriously – until he finds himself in an Auror training session led by Harry Potter.
The Loathly Worm by Selden (E, 12k)
When Draco Malfoy is forced to go undercover among the remaining Death Eaters in the aftermath of the war, the last person he expects to find there is Harry Potter.
Unfinished Business by cupiscent (E, 20k)
Ten years after the War ends, Harry and Draco still haven't got their act together. But maybe it's not too late.
Vortex by xanthippe74 (T, 20k)
Who would want a soulmate who was a schoolyard bully, a Death Eater, and a convicted felon? Certainly not Harry Potter. And Draco is determined to take this secret to the grave.
Slithering by astolat (E, 27k)
Draco found the nest down in the Manor’s cellars, while he was clearing them out.

Ethan's video specifically gave me so much bittersweet happiness, because so much of what he said is exactly how I feel too.
When he said that because of Unus Annus, 2020 became a year of togetherness and community, despite everything? When he said that that year, he'd never felt less alone? Oh god. I felt that to my core. I've said it before, but it's so so rare that I ever get to be part of something from the very beginning, even more rare that I get to be involved with the community and experience that thing together, in real time. I'm always the one to pick up a fandom a while after it's over, show up to a dwindling online presence, full of inside jokes that I wasn't around to understand. But Unus Annus? I was there. I was on the subreddit. I participated in the challenges. I was involved in trying to dissect the lore as it was happening. It was a feeling that I don't know if I'll ever be able to experience again, just knowing with so much confidence and joy that I belong. That was so special to me. I look back on 2020, now, and it's not defined by covid or lockdowns for me. It's defined by all those happy memories.
And then he mentioned being able to remember how you felt, something triggering a memory and suddenly it all comes back- that passion, that excitement, the pride and the togetherness, the grief and the simultaneous celebration, it really hit home. It's not like recalling a specific memory; it's more than that, it's being able to feel exactly the way you felt in the final moments of the livestream. Something you can't describe, but it's unmistakably distinct, and it's such a big feeling. That's something I do with How To Train Your Dragon too, actually; arguably one of the most important pieces of media in my life. Every once in a while, I'll be able to remember just how incredible it felt to be seven years old, watching that movie in the theater for the very first time, completely in awe. I really cherish those moments. It's a reminder that even though those things aren't as big of a part of my life as they used to be, the memory is still preserved inside of me, still just as important, still a part of myself. I'll never forget that #WeWereHere. It made me really excited to hear that Ethan gets that way too.
Memento Mori, Unus Annus. Here's to two years 🥂🖤🤍😌

EXCHANGED LOVE. || a bellyjere au fic.
chapter ten
previous chapter | next chapter | table of contents
jeremiah’s pov
The Sunshine Boy, that's what my mom used to call me. I'd always been the easy-going kid, known for shedding tears when physically hurt but not much else in terms of negative emotions. So, when Belly collapsed in my arms, emotions cascading like a waterfall, I was struck by a whirlwind of unfamiliar feelings. If witnessing Lacie cry had been tough, this was a whole new level of heartache. She refused to disclose what Max had said to her, though it was undoubtedly something utterly douchey.
My immediate instinct was to storm in there and give Max a piece of my mind for hurting someone as sweet as Belly. But I couldn't leave her alone in this vulnerable state, no matter how much I yearned to act on my anger.
Part of me felt selfish, taking pride in being the one offering her comfort during this time of need. She hadn't chosen my arms as her sanctuary; they had simply been the ones readily available when she needed them most.
As I sat there, holding her close and gently stroking her hair, I couldn't help but wonder if she'd have a panic attack tomorrow or in the days to come. My mom had mentioned she had a tough night, and I couldn't shake the nagging thought that I might have inadvertently contributed to her distress. I tried to convince myself it couldn't have been me, but the unfortunate truth was that I couldn't be sure, and I certainly couldn't ask her about it right now, perhaps not ever.
I'm not sure how long we stayed there together in the rose garden, but I would have remained indefinitely if she'd asked. In that moment, I would have done anything for the girl whose trembling breaths reverberated through my chest.
Pathetic? Perhaps, but I didn't care. Isabel had one of those personalities that was inherently infectious, undeniable. I doubted she realized how much happiness she'd brought into my family's life with her arrival, but we were all more grateful than we'd let on.
Cousins used to be my safe haven during the summers. We'd visit every year with Mom and Dad, and it was nothing short of magical. Dad would teach us to grill burgers and steaks, while Mom's specialty was baking cakes. On the Fourth of July, we'd put on our own fireworks show for the neighbors, and it was a grand celebration.
Even the rainy days were special. We'd huddle on the large sectional, and Mom would choose movies and bring out snacks. Sometimes, if it rained at night, Dad would wake us up to catch worms, then we'd head out on the boat at sunrise to fish with the worms we'd collected.
But then, everything changed during the summer of my thirteenth birthday. Mom and Dad started fighting, and Dad began distancing himself from us. Our once joyous summers turned bleak. I loved my mom, but I idolized my dad. I'd never forget the day he packed a bag and left home. Mom stood on the porch, tears streaming down her face. She didn't want Conrad and me to see her cry; she'd always been so strong for us. That day, she couldn't hide it.
After that, summers were never quite the same. Mom did her best to maintain traditions, but we all knew we could never go back to the way things were. Conrad and I started hanging out with the other summer kids and locals, while Mom immersed herself in the community, craving the companionship she'd lost. Cousins felt hollow.
Then, in our very last week this summer, Belly strolled into our lives and brought back the missing magic. None of us had felt so happy and whole since Dad left, or at least, I hadn't.
I couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was about her. Perhaps it was her smile, capable of brightening any room, or her penetrating brown eyes. It was hard to say, but it was likely a combination of factors. Regardless, it didn't matter. All I knew was that she made us happy, and if that's what she could achieve in just a week, the rest of the year promised to be the best of my life.
My mom's sudden appearance startled me; I'd been lost in my thoughts, tracing patterns and words on the back of Belly's dress. It seemed to comfort her, and her tears had ceased, which made me feel like I was doing something right.
I had half-expected my mom to whisk Belly away from me, usher her inside and take over caring for her, but instead, she surprised me by doing the opposite. I wanted to hug her tightly and thank her, but for obvious reasons, I couldn't do that. Firstly, I didn't want her to realize how elated I was to have more time with Belly, and secondly, her crying and suffering from a severe panic attack weren't reasons to celebrate.
"I'll make sure she's okay, I promise. But you should probably tell Mrs. Breeland that she needs to have a talk with her son about how to treat women," I whispered into her ear.
I may not have been able to punch Max in the face as I'd wanted, but if there was one thing I knew about Max Breeland, it was that he was a mama's boy. And if there was one thing certain about Susannah Fisher, it was that my mom could unleash her scary mama bear side when necessary.
Belly insisted on walking to the car without her shoes. I knew heels weren't comfortable, but going barefoot wasn't exactly safe either. So, instead of arguing or making her wear shoes that hurt her feet, I lifted her into my arms.
Maybe it was selfish of me, doing as I pleased because I finally had the opportunity to spend time with her. But she didn't seem to protest or mind. In fact, she nestled into my chest, getting comfortable in my arms.
The valet quickly brought my Jeep around, casting puzzled looks at the two of us. My white button-up shirt probably had mascara smudged across the front, but I didn't care. I shot a glare at a guy who stared at us for too long.
"Are you hungry?" I asked, shifting into the driver's seat and pulling out of the country club parking lot. We hadn't stayed long enough for the main course of the night, and finger foods wouldn't suffice for me.
"A little... actually, yeah," she said softly, rubbing her arms. I turned up the heat slightly, smiling and nodding before heading in the opposite direction of home.
"Have you ever had Sonic?"
I grinned when she shook her head. It was only a ten-minute drive in the opposite direction, and they had the best cheeseburgers.
"Get ready for your life to be changed, Bells."
We pulled up to the fast-food chain, parking in one of the spaces. The brightly lit menu screen in front of us had her wide-eyed and awestruck.
"I don't even know where to start," she mumbled in amazement, earning a chuckle from me.
"Do you trust me?" I quizzed, raising an eyebrow as I playfully narrowed my eyes at her.
"Hmm, I don't know. You swept me off my feet without asking—" she stopped herself, blushing hard, which was undeniably cute. "I mean, like when we were leaving," she quickly corrected.
"Mhmm," I mused, shaking my head and pressing the red button to place our order.
Ten minutes later, Belly and I each had cheeseburgers, fries, and tater tots to share, along with a giant grape slushee sporting two straws poking out of the lid.
"Alright, life-or-death question: You have to sing one song all the way through. What are you choosing?" she asked me.
"Ooh, a tough question," I sighed, pulling out my phone to scroll through my music library.
"Promise not to judge me?" I asked, my finger hovering over my choice.
"Oh, I'm definitely going to judge you," she retorted. I rolled my eyes and played it anyway; I didn't care.
"It's called 'New Romantics' by Taylor Swift." The beat filled the Jeep, and she threw her head back, laughing. God, I wanted to make her laugh like that every day.
"What's so funny?"
"You're a total Swiftie," she grinned. "No one knows that song all the way through unless they are," she stated matter-of-factly.
"What's wrong with being a Swiftie, huh?" I pointed at her before snatching the fry she was about to eat and popping it into my mouth.
"I never said there was anything wrong with it, Fisher," she teased, reaching across the console to turn the song up louder.
I'm sure the car next to us thought we were insane, singing the song at the top of our lungs together. I pretended my hand was a microphone, occasionally holding it out to Belly for her to sing into, and she did, full performance and all. Even with smeared makeup and disheveled hair, she was a sight to behold, as beautiful as ever.
Next on the playlist was "Golden" by Harry Styles, and I lowered the volume just enough for us to talk.
"I know you were way too bright for me," I sang softly to her, wanting to savor this moment for as long as possible.
"What are you looking at?" she asked, her cheeks flushing as she challenged me with those doe eyes of hers.
"You," I replied simply, and she looked away, blushing and smiling, even if she didn't want to admit it.
I couldn't help but wonder if she'd go back to pushing me away tomorrow. I really hoped not. Now that I'd experienced spending time with her like this, I didn't want it to end, even if it meant keeping it strictly friendly.

Please come join the Lyons and InterPride family in celebrating the life and legacy of Mufasa Lyons on the ten year anniversary of his passing...
WHAT: A memorial dinner for Mufasa Lyons
WHO: The whole town has been invited, Mufasa was an important and prominent member of the community. If your character or your character's family had connections to Swynlake prior to 2013, you would have known Mufasa. He was on the Board and the CEO of InterPride. He also frequented all town events and local businesses. If you have trouble coming up with why your character might attend, hit up Clementine!
WHERE: InterPride's reception hall on the first floor (Discord)
WHEN: Canonically on May 20th, but takes place May 17th through 23rd
HOW: As with most events, hop in on Discord if you want your character to participate. Mufasa's favourite color was blue, so guests are encouraged to wear some shade of it. Additionally, attire is semi-formal to formal. No jeans or the like, please! A sit down dinner, but with a buffet style serve-yourself -- all dietary options included! NO ALCOHOL WILL BE SERVED. There will be sparkling juices for the toast instead.
See below the cut for Simba's welcome speech.
Hello everyone, it is so nice to see all these friendly faces tonight. I will not lie and say this is not a difficult night for myself, my mother, and our family--but I am grateful to be reminded that we are not alone in our grief. That the whole town mourns along with us, which is something amazing and unique about Swynlake. It is that kind of community that my father tried so hard to foster and that...I hope I have done a good job trying to continue to foster.
I looked up to my father in so many ways. He was, and still is, my hero. But, he was also a person--just like everyone else here. He may have felt larger than life to me and I am sure some of you but he was also a very humble man and I am sure he would be touched to know that you are all here to celebrate his memory.
Before we dig in, as I am sure everyone is eager to, I have a special announcement to make. My father enjoyed many hobbies. One of his favourites was sports. He loved rugby, football, just about anything. This was something I've always shared with him. And, after talking to Cruz Ramirez about her Magick Grand Prix team at PrideU, I was inspired. I had wanted to do something to commemorate this anniversary, but I couldn't figure out what until we spoke.
So, I am happy to now announce the Mufasa Lyons Endowment at Pride University. This endowment will fund two scholarships for Magick students. The only requirements will be that the students are Magicks, show a demonstrated interest in sports, are a part of the Magick Grand Prix team, and have good grades.
Please stop by the Ramirezes table to say hello and learn more about the Magick Grand Prix program at PrideU.
Again, I want to say thank you all for attending. My father loved Swynlake and was so proud of it and of all of you. Enjoy your evening, I can't wait to hear all the memories you have to share. In Mufasa's memory, let's work together to keep striving to make Swynlake the place he always envisioned it could be.

Playing the Part
~8300 words of steamy Loki tickle fluff
PG13 for this one, kids. Lots of making out.
CW: some swearing, suggestive humour, mentions of murder/death, alcohol consumption
Tumblr media
Every job has its ups and downs, and every employee their good days and not-so-good days. You’d hardly classify yourself as an employee because you didn’t get a paycheque, your entire occupation was a hazard unto itself, human-resources was punching it out on the sparring mat and your boss was either a 100-year-old super soldier or an eccentric billionaire, depending on the day and who was wearing what suit.
Wait… should I be getting paid for this?
Looking around your room that you paid no rent on, in a multi-billion dollar superhero compound, you decided that wasn’t a question you were ever going to ask. The question of the hour was which dress would best conceal your thigh-holstered gun.
Today, your job entailed one of those tasks that could be fun if you decided it would be, or hell if you had a bad attitude about it. You prided yourself on always being up for any mission, so that answered that question, though infiltrating some black-tie gala undercover was never as exciting as fighting alien forces.
You gave up feeling guilty about being a little excited when Earth faced threats long ago; no one had to know that impending planetary destruction was your favourite kind of mission to help out on.
Selecting a red strapless dress from the middle of your mission closet (which was differentiated because most of these dresses were bulletproof) you slipped it on over your underwear and thigh holster. A knock came at your door as you were reaching behind yourself to zip it up.
“Come in!”
“Agent, we- oh… Oh.” Loki’s featured turned from surprised to playfully smug in a matter of seconds.
“Can you get this zipper?” You winced at the stuck metal. He nodded and approached, you turned and held the fabric up. Before he even made it halfway to you he gave a brief wave of his hand and used his magic to unstick the zipper, bringing it to the top.
“Thanks,” you smiled, familiar with that particular kind of help from Loki. “Can you see my gun?” You did a little spin and he shook his head. “Great. You look nice," you commented, gesturing to his impeccable black suit.
“As do you.”
“Ready?”
”I suppose there are worse charades to play on a Saturday evening. Ones that don’t include fine wine and the prospect of a tussle with a Midgardian security man.”
You shot him a look as you two walked towards the garage together. “You said no Midgardian wine could be classed as fine.”
“Save for one region in Italy, I’ve discovered.” Loki shrugged, tightening the fastener on his cuff link.
You gave him a mock look of shock. “Are you telling me… you were wrong?“
“Smugness is not becoming, Agent,” Loki playfully warned.
“Hmm,” you narrowed your eyes. “Looks like I’m spending too much time with you.”
You bickered and bantered good-naturedly as you entered the garage, which was more like a hangar but only for cars. This mission would be you, Loki, Natasha, Sam and, strangely enough, Tony wanted to drive the van. He gave some excuse about wanting to test some new equipment and spend time with his team. Though you knew it was because Pepper wanted him to attend her aunt’s seventieth birthday, and Tony had a long-standing feud with that particular aunt ever since she went on a forty-five minute tirade about how much she hated Led Zeppelin. You weren’t sure if it was the sentiment behind it, or the fact that she could talk for forty-five minutes straight without the awareness to stop. Either way, Tony was on the job tonight.
“Black Widow is already onsite,“ Tony handed you three some photos as you entered and took your seats. “Your names are on the door, fake ones obviously, here they are.” Tony pulled up some information on the screens and then commanded the self-driving van to go with a few taps at a holographic control centre.
You went over the plan, the objective, who to avoid at all costs, where the gun was supposedly hidden. There was a gun used in a murder of a journalist - the employee of an old friend of Tony's, a young guy working on an exposé of a filthy-rich family dynasty in New York City. The journalist was sure the McDane family money came from arms dealing, but he was found dead just a few short months after he started investigating. The following week, Charles, the charming and likeable newly-married eldest son of the family, announced his run for mayor.
Whether Charlie McDane ordered the murder, or if he didn't even know it happened, Tony's source said this family kept trophies of their victories and the murder weapon would most definitely still be in the house.
On the face of it, it was an unusual assignment for the Avengers. If you didn't think that hard about it, you could have just sent Nat in alone. However, the McDane family was even more powerful than they loved to show on the surface, and this wouldn't be a simple theft. Hence, a small team was going in to avenge the fallen journalist.
Natasha had been planted on the inside, posing as an event manager for a soirée the family was hosting to celebrate Charlie’s birthday and, since he’d invited everyone in the political and social scene, it was the perfect chance to enter the mansion; there’s no way he’d know who each and every person was and should be.
As you walked down the road with your arm slotted through Loki's, you eyed the metal detectors at the front entrance. You gripped his arm and slid your hand into the pocket of your dress, but the pocket was hollow and only existed as easy way to grab your gun. Wordlessly, you passed it to Loki and he concealed it with his magic in the exact same way you planned to smuggle the murder weapon out later that evening.
Maybe it was Loki's elegance or your years of training that started when you were very young, but the way you two could instinctively weave around each other's thoughts, ideas and actions without so much as a glance was something special you didn't take for granted. You both had keen senses, but there was some kind of unexplainable energy that made them align perfectly.
You never let your mind wander on nights like these. On missions. Perhaps if you were less professional you'd take a moment to fantasise about what it would actually be like to go to a party with Loki. If the way he led you through the room with a gentle hand at your waist was more than a ploy to look like an adoring couple, or if he knew your favourite wine because he cared, instead of just having heard you order it a million times before.
He kept things light with jokes and little jabs, never once crossing a boundary when fake-flirting with you, but it wasn't lost on you that it was unusual to have this kind of working relationship that had all of the chemistry with none of the awkwardness. It was almost as if it was second nature now for him to pull you a little closer when you were in a nice dress, considering you'd only worn them in front of him on missions. And so he did pull you closer as you approached the bouncer to give your names.
You spied Nat at the front, leaning around a security guard's shoulder to point to something on his list. She always played her parts so well. She stole a glance at you and Loki through her fake glasses and that was it. No indication she knew you, no special treatment, no way she'd do anything to blow this. She walked up the outdoor staircase as you gave your aliased names to the guard and flashed fake drivers licenses that were pretty much real, considering the government had created them.
Loki declined the arrival champagne for the both of you, immediately leading you to the bar. You looked at him as if to remind him that you weren't here to drink, and his subtle smirk replied that he didn't care. He ordered two glasses of a merlot from the one region in Italy that'd won his respect, passing the glass to you once it was laid on the bar.
"To the finer things," he cheers'ed your glass and you scoffed with a laugh, taking a sip of the wine. The rich flavour burst through your mouth. It was dark and deep, spiced with... with... "Cedar," he offered, reading the analysis on your face. "Rosewood, cedar and some sort of stone-fruit."
"Nectarine."
He smiled and took another sip. "We don't have that on Asgard."
"This wine is good," you nodded as you two turned and deconstructed the room and all of its guests.
It made you kind of sick seeing all of these wealthy people in one place pretending to give a damn about Charlie McDane's birthday. It's not that you liked the guy, not at all, it just felt weird to know that every person in here was the exact kind of person you hunted down. Power-hungry. This mansion may as well be a lion's den. But full of naïve lions, who had no idea two apex predators just walked in.
Just when you started wondering how many people in your line of sight had also committed murder to protect their wealth and power, you saw Natasha give a subtle signal of which way the room with the safe was. Loki saw it too.
It was upstairs, but there wasn't much cover to get upstairs. The great foyer's ceiling was three stories up, the two floors above the ground floor you were on had square balconies that let the people upstairs peer downwards into the masses. Nat's fingers adjusting her hair told you that the room was on the second floor. Thankfully, there were guests on the second floor. Under the guise of admiration for the architecture and a desire to explore the great house, you pointed out works of art to Loki as you ascended the stairs together. When you walked past Natasha she smiled politely, like a good host, and asked if you were enjoying the wine.
"It's most divine. Though, I believe my beloved may be in search of a room to powder her nose."
You would have rolled your eyes at his usual choice of asking for information if you weren't aware that security's eyes were everywhere. Even on the event manager.
"You might find what you need up the stairs, down the first hall, third door on your right."
The way her hands were motioning didn't match her hushed description, so you followed the instructions in her voice instead of the way her hands were telling you.
You allowed Loki to lead you upstairs, down the first hall. When you two were certain there were no eyes, he concealed you two with his magic. The hallway was darkened. He pressed his hand against the lock and unfastened it with an unseen pure magic and you two slipped inside. It was a large office with grand mahogany furniture, decorated exactly as you'd expect Old Money Americans to decorate their office. Right down to the bear head above the fireplace and the first edition novels sitting proudly on the shelf, probably unread by their owners. That also made you a little sick: great words sitting unread as trophies.
Scanning the room for any obvious signs of the safe, your eyes settled on a panel in the wood on the side of the desk. There was a slightly smaller gap in the wood on one side, indicating hinges. You held your hands up to Loki and he conjured thin gloves to grace your fingers, then you pressed gently on the wood to engage the latch. The panel swung open to reveal the safe. Shifting out of the way, Loki took your place and placed a gloved hand on the dial. In less than three seconds, it spun rapidly in each direction before clicking open.
"We should really consider robbing banks," you whispered as the black metal door swung open and you were met with stacks of paper and envelopes.
"Need I remind you I am a Prince? If it's gold you want, darling, say the word."
"Eh," you shrugged, feeling around for the gun. "I meant more for the thrills."
Loki chuckled as your fingers found a familiar-feeling package. You pulled the envelope out and peered inside before showing Loki the sight of a small pistol. He nodded and took it from you carefully, then concealed it in some unknown magical space close to him.
You closed the safe carefully and then your gloves disappeared. Moving quietly back to the door, you listened for several moments to make sure no one was coming. Then, you both slid out and began walking down the hall like a loving couple.
Suddenly, a guard appeared at the end of the hallway. Thinking fast, you opened the closest door to you and pushed Loki inside. There was a shout you vaguely heard before you shut and locked the door again.
"Shit," you hissed. You were in someone's bedroom. Or maybe it was a guest room, considering how clean and un-lived-in it looked. There was a fireplace, like in the office, and a large four-poster bed against one wall. In the middle of the room were two plush couches that faced each other and were side-on to the door. You two walked over to them to get the vantage of being in the centre of the room and quickly searched for an exit.
"I'll cast an illusion," Loki whispered, ready to wave his hands and make it look as if you two weren't here.
"No!" You whispered, eyes wide. "They already saw us come in here. If we disappear, they'll know something's up and lock the place down."
"Then what do you propose?" He held his hands out, annoyingly unbothered by the prospect of blowing a mission. The doorknob twisted and you both snapped your heads towards it, then back at each other.
"Sit," you hissed and shoved him back onto the sofa right behind him. He stumbled and fell with a small indignant noise of surprise. You heard the tinkling of keys and your heart beat in your chest.
"Agent?"
Knowing the security team was about to enter, you acted fast. "I'll never hear the end of this," you mumbled before sliding forward to straddle his lap. His eyebrows shot up his forehead as you wrapped your arms around his shoulder and looked at him with nervous urgency. "Kiss me."
Loki didn't question it, and he certainly didn't need to be told twice. His hands found their place. One at the small of your back, one firmly gripping the hair at the nape of your neck. Then, he pulled you in for a fiery kiss.
You barely heard the door open as you lost yourself in the strength of his hold, the steady and eager grasp with which he held you. His hands found their places as if they'd been there a thousand times before, as if he knew exactly how you'd feel the safest, feel the most desired. You pulled him deeper by the back of his neck and could have sworn he made a small noise of satisfaction.
Oh no.
He kept kissing you, you kept kissing him, even after the head of the security team had cleared his throat a number of times. As much as you knew you'd already sold it, and boy you sold it well, you couldn't bring yourself to pull away. Were all Asgardians this good at kissing, or was it just Loki?
Oh. No.
"HEY!"
The sudden loud command pulled you away and, much to your internal mortification, you didn't need to feign how flustered you were.
"O-oh my," you squeaked and looked up at the man, blushing profusely.
Okay, the squeak was fake, but it felt almost real.
You stayed put where you were straddling Loki's lap and grimaced when you saw Natasha, still in character, entering the room. "What's going on, I need you downstairs to- oh!" She looked a little taken aback by your position atop the prince who, you were fuming to see from the corner of your eye, had the audacity to be smirking.
"My apologies," Loki drawled in his growly regal voice, trailing his hands around to your sides. "I simply couldn't control myself, seeing my queen in this dress..." He punctuated it with an "Mmph" and a firm squeeze at your hips. You flinched and squirmed a bit under the ticklish touch, trying to keep your composure but letting a small giggle slip out. Then, catching the pleased and mischievous glint in his eye, you dug your nails into the back of his shoulder to warn him off trying that again.
"This room's off limits," the guard tilted his head towards the door and you made to move your way off of Loki's lap. Instead, with his incredible strength, he stood with his hands still at your hips, lifting you to your feet before turning and wrapping an arm around your waist.
He looked the guard up and down, "Of course, good sir." You bit your lip and blushed, cowering in Loki's hold as you exited the room together. Nat smirked at you and winked before proceeding to fall back into character and tell the guards there was a belligerent drunk man downstairs needing to be kicked out. That man would be Wilson, who was playing his part as tipsy distraction.
Loki led you down the hall and you rounded a corner, then you broke off from him and held a hand to your chest. "That was too close," you breathed deeply once, then met his eye. You glared when he saw him smirking at you.
"Do I have lipstick on my face?" He asked, feigning worry.
"Oh, shut up," you swatted his shoulder. "I did what I had to do."
"I never knew you had the passion in you, Agent," Loki smirked again. You glared once more and peeked around the corner, only to jump and hold in a yelp as Loki's pinching fingers found your hip. "I also never knew you were so ticklish."
"That's not something people advertise- cut it ouhout!" You swatted his hand and squirmed away from him as he prodded his fingers into your side. "We have the gun, let's get out of here."
"Tsk, you're no fun," Loki scoffed.
You exited the party and made your way down the block towards the van, knowing that Nat's glasses had broadcast at least the last part of your little tussle with Loki. Steeling yourself as you gripped the handle, you reminded yourself that you were a professional, and this was sometimes a hazard of the job. You needed to play it cool when the eventual teasing came.
"Hey, lovebirds," Tony quipped the second he saw your faces.
"Hey," you chuckled, stepping inside and removing your heels the second you found your seat. "We got it."
"Here," Loki closed the door behind him and pulled the enveloped gun from the magical space he'd hidden it. "So you saw the Agent's display of passion, did you?"
"You wound me, Loki," you deadpanned. "I thought we had a mutual connection."
Perhaps those words were a mistake considering all the truth behind them. However, all the best lies were founded on truth, and for now you needed to convince everyone in the van that you weren't totally freaking out because you'd felt the most passionate attraction you'd had in years with a former villain. I mean... how predictable.
Loki looked at you suspiciously as he took his seat, but something in his gaze told you he wasn't going to prod deeper on this. Not right now, at least. Not in front of everyone.
Nat and Sam joined the fray five minutes later and you all got a move-on back to the Compound. Nat poked more fun at the position she'd found you two in, and you laughed good-naturedly at all their jokes. Loki was uncharacteristically silent, and seemed to always be looking at you when you laughed and instinctively checked to see if he was laughing too.
The jokes shifted to Sam and the wine he spilled down his shirt, then the conversation shifted to the next steps of what to do with the gun, then you all arrived back.
Tony got to work dismantling his rig, declining your help, and so you took your field weapons over to the cabinet to put them back in their places. As you were unclipping the magazine from your pistol, you felt a presence behind the door. You peered around to see Loki.
"What's up?" You raised your eyebrows and snapped the case shut, then closed the door.
He looked at you meaningfully, quizzically, but didn't say anything.
"Okay..." you chuckled uncomfortably and put the latch on the door in place. "I'm going to shower."
You made to walk past him but he grabbed your upper arm, stopping you by his side. Facing different ways, he leaned in a little closer and spoke quietly. "I can spot a lie from lightyears away."
Turning to look at him, you'd probably have been caught off-guard by how close his face was if it hadn't been for the events of earlier. You shrugged, pulling your arm from his grasp. "I didn't lie."
He scoffed and also turned to look at you, eyes flitting once down to your lips, then back up to pierce your gaze with his. "You know what I meant."
You were proud of how composed you kept yourself when you shrugged again and kept walking, swallowing hard.
This wasn't supposed to happen.
Never one to waste water, you took an uncharacteristically long shower. Haphazardly smearing face wash over your skin to scrub the makeup off, scrub away the flustered energy. But no amount of scrubbing could help you forget the feeling of his kiss, and shampooing the hairspray from your head only made you remember the feeling of his fingers in your hair.
You reminded yourself that it had been a very long time since you'd kissed someone. You were probably just desperate, definitely a little touch-starved in general, so the fact that it was Loki didn't matter as much as the fact that it had happened.
That's what you told yourself over and over as you threw on sweatpants and a soft long-sleeved shirt. It was cold and the marble floors could be unforgiving, so you thought it best to go for fluffy socks, but then pulled some slippered boots over the top. You didn't bother brushing your wet hair, letting it fall where it wanted as you made your way to the kitchen.
"That smells good," you commented as Nat pulled some dish out of the oven.
"Mmm," she agreed with an excited smile. "Nico is my favourite," she admitted slyly, referring to one of the chefs Pepper would call in to prepare a bunch of heatable meals during busy periods. Delivery app drivers would probably cancel the order if you tried, thinking it must be a joke that a super solider was asking for a Big Mac to be delivered to the Avengers Compound. Besides, by the time it was scanned and made sure to not contain a deadly poison, it would be cold and stale. "There's enough for you too," Nat said, pulling out another plate and serving you a steaming slice of vegetarian lasagne.
"Thanks," you smiled, still a little distracted. Of course, with someone as perceptive as Nat, that wouldn't be allowed to slip by.
She leaned against the counter and poked at her meal, not meeting your eye to keep it less direct. "You alright?"
"Hmm?" You looked up, and so did she, then you looked back down to your food and shrugged. It was no use lying to her. "I think I'm lonely," you laughed humourlessly, nervously, sadly.
"The kiss got to you," she said knowingly, placing her fork down to give you her full attention. You didn't return the favour, nervous about what you'd say if you were really talking about this. Which, as long as you were here eating dinner, you weren't really talking about it.
"It's not like I haven't kissed a fellow Agent before to keep cover," you sighed a little, shaking your head. "It's just been a while, I guess, since I've had... anything... or, someone."
"I get that," she nodded, picking up her fork again. You two ate in silence for several moments. "This is really good," she declared through an extra-large mouthful. You chuckled and nodded, swallowing another bite. After several more moments, she said quietly, "It's okay if you felt something."
That made you choke a bit. Noticeably, unfortunately. You shook your head, but didn't deny it. "No. It's not okay."
"Why not?" She asked as if you were crazy.
"It's not okay," you repeated firmly, stabbing your fork again at the lasagna. "It's not."
Before she could attempt to pry for more information, Thor and Loki entered the kitchen together. Great.
"Good evening," Thor beamed a toothless smile.
"There's more in the fridge if you're hungry," you looked up at them in an attempt to not seem as regressed in on yourself as you felt. Thor looked at your plate and nodded in approval, opening the fridge. Then you looked at Loki, fully expecting to see some kind of calculating stare as before, but his expression was soft. He looked you over, probably noticing your out-of-character hunched posture and the way your head hung a little lower than usual, and he gave you a look that was subtly laced with sympathy.
Now that made your blood boil. Who was he to feel sorry for you?
He seemed to notice the way your jaw clenched under his gaze, and opened his mouth to say something but Thor spoke first.
"There's a film Stark wants us all to watch this evening."
Nat chuckled, finishing off her dinner. "You say that like he's showing us training videos. He's just trying to bond the team over some cheesy nineties movie." She looked at you and nodded to your clothes. "You look ready for a movie night."
Before you could explain that you'd rather go to bed, Thor beamed again. "Excellent, then! We'll all be there."
Thor was always kind to you, so you didn't want to disappoint him over something so inconsequential. You smiled warmly at him and nodded. "I'm gonna go claim a good spot," you excused yourself, aware it was almost time for it to start. You quickly did your dishes and left the kitchen, making sure to get a seat on a large armchair so you made it clear you'd rather have some personal space right now, even though it was the exact opposite of what you wanted. Maybe it would be good for you though, to remember that you were alone for a reason. That this life you chose wasn't kind too love.
Gods, love. Why did you think of that word, of all the ones out there. You were spiralling. Sentiment, you corrected yourself with a swift reprimand. Sentiment, loneliness, desperation.
You busied yourself chatting to Wanda as people filtered in, taking note of how she seamlessly wove herself in and around Vision as they sat on a two-seater next to you. Determined not to look at or think of Loki or romance or kissing or anything like that, you trained your eyes on the screen as the movie started.
But you spiralled.
There were these two main characters in the movie with this undeniable bickering co-worker chemistry that reminded you of Loki, the jokes he’d whisper into your ear during meetings, the harmless mischief he’d pull to make you laugh, the way his hand felt at your lower back- NO. You couldn’t think about that.
Wanda and Vision were in your line of sight from the corner of your eye and you saw her fingers lace through his, you then saw him place a silent kiss on the crown of her head. Biting down on your tongue, you remembered Nat and Bruce, Pepper and Tony, Thor and Jane, Clint and Laura. All those people who seemed to find love, even temporary love, in the midst of all this madness.
So maybe it wasn’t this life. Maybe it was just… you.
Biting your tongue a little harder, you reminded yourself how powerless you were compared to all these super-people. Sure, many of them were human like you, but all the other humans seemed to have someone who loved them.
It felt hopeless, knowing the only person in this room who you wanted close was so extraordinarily out of your league. He was a god. You were a human. Your life was a flicker compared to his, of course he’d never waste time indulging the likes of you.
But it felt real.
Halfway through the movie you decided you couldn’t sit there and see these buddy-cop characters fall in love. You couldn’t watch Wanda and Vision so enamoured with each other. What you needed was to hit something hard, and then go to sleep. So you excused yourself without a word or a glance at anyone. It was late, anyway. You weren’t even the first one to leave.
A turn of a black-haired form told you that Loki noticed you leaving, but the lack of footsteps behind you as you walked down the silent hall told you that he hadn’t followed you.
Slipping into your room and then into some workout clothes, you jammed your headphones into your ears and put on some classical music; you weren't sure you could stand to hear any words right now. You laced your shoes a little tighter than normal and practically sprinted to the gym, very unwilling to have anyone notice you were gone and decide to come check on you.
Hitting the bag felt good. It was the perfect consolation prize for what you'd actually prefer right now, but with every crushing of your knuckles against the thick canvas you found it easier to forget how it felt to have your fingers looped through his hair. The sweat dripping down your face replaced the feeling of his breath against your skin when you'd broken the kiss, and the aching in your obliques from your tensing and turning to hit the bag took the place of any memory of his hands at your waist. The aching was here, and he was almost gone.
After a half-hour of interval sprints, it was just past midnight and you were exhausted. Not knowing how you felt about no one coming to check on you, you traipsed back to your room in silence. The faint echoing of your footsteps through the hallways made you quiet yourself further, stepping as lightly as you could to prove to yourself that you were still a good spy. Good spies don't get caught up with feelings. Your footsteps fell, dead quiet, and you regained some confidence.
Your muscles stung the next morning but in a delightful way. You'd treated yourself to another hot shower when you got back to your room, so this morning it would probably be best to have an icy one.
As the cold water hit your skin, you felt okay again. The boxing and running last night had really shaken everything out of you, only the smallest lingering of lonely desire remained and it could easily be ignored. Of course, that was easy to say. The second you walked into the kitchen to see that Loki had heard you coming and poured you a coffee you felt a tug at your chest.
His hands closed around the mug to pass it to you and you remembered how his fingers had closed around your waist. He smiled good morning and you remembered how his lips felt against yours. Holding it all in, you smiled and took the coffee, then proceeded to have a short conversation with him like a normal person would. He made jokes about last night, but not about that, and you chuckled at them. After perhaps too short a time for how long you usually chatted, you excused yourself to go do some paperwork. You caught the way his brow furrowed a little, but he didn't question you.
The next few days were more or less like this. You'd try to engage with Loki normally but spiral a little more, convincing yourself that the more you continued like you always had, the more normal things would be again. But he was just so... beautiful. Everything about him was beautiful and now you couldn't help but notice.
One evening, nearly a week after you'd kissed, you were having a bit of a vulnerable day and you walked into the kitchen for some ice cream. Loki had just finished cleaning up after his dinner and turned to say hello, but you couldn't do it. You just turned and walked right back out again. He called after you but you didn't stop. It's not like you were going to cry in front of him, but you just couldn't do this right now.
Seeking refuge in your bedroom, you shut the door and slid down to the floor with your back against it. An immediate soft knock frustrated you, especially knowing who it probably was. You sighed and stood.
“Hey,” you greeted Loki with a nod when you opened the door, immediately turning away to make it look like you were about to do something else. “What’s up?”
Loki stepped into the room and closed the door behind him, which made you stop and give him your attention. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah,” you lied.
He squinted for the faintest second and smiled a little sadly. “Light years,” he reminded you how he could spot a lie without harshly calling you out. It pained you that he didn’t. That his lack of sarcasm indicated that he saw you as a bit fragile right now.
You sighed a little and ducked your head to the side, conceding the point. “I’m a little haywire,” you admitted. “I think I need to get some stress out and go to sleep.”
”What troubles you?”
Ah. What a question.
You didn’t want to shut him out, but you certainly didn’t know how to explain that one simple kiss undercover had brought a massive crashing wave of insecurity and anxiety that made you feel completely unlovable. Or... maybe you could just say that?
You were silent for so long that Loki spoke again.
“I’d like to offer my apologies,” he said very diplomatically. “If I overstepped the bounds of our relationship.”
“I’m the one that made you kiss me,” you winced. “I should be apologising.”
”I didn’t mean that,” Loki shook his head. “I meant after, when we returned. When I cornered you.”
You had to laugh. “You didn’t corner me, Loki. I appreciate you wanting to make me feel better but you have nothing to apologise for.”
”Very well. But you didn’t make me,” he replied firmly.
“I know, I know…” you rolled your eyes. “A god submits to no one, I just meant that I put you in a situation that I shouldn’t have. Believe me, I’m paying the price.”
That last part came out a little faster than you’d intended it to. In fact, you didn’t really mean to say that last part out loud at all. Or maybe you did. What a perfect Freudian Slip. Quickly collecting yourself, you spotted your headphones and went to pick them up but noticed that Loki was taking slow steps towards you.
”Paying the price?” He asked carefully. You stopped and folded your arms, shrugging.
“People poke fun, you know.” You bit your tongue. Then, you saw him smirk a little. Ah. Lightyears.
“I thought we had a mutual connection,“ he raised his eyebrows, teasing you with your joke from That Night. You gave him a firm stare, but couldn’t help but notice he wasn’t that far away now.
“Loki, that was-“
“A thinly veiled truth,” he interjected, leaving no room for debate. He also left very little room between the two of you. You opened your mouth to respond, seemed to not be able to, and he smirked at your speechlessness.
"Y-you can't." You shook your head. "There's no way."
"There's no way, what?" A smiled tugged at his lips at the way your eyes widened when he took a strand of your hair and wrapped it once around his finger.
"... Mutual?"
“Now that we won’t be interrupted…” he brought his hand up next to his face, flourished it, and you heard your door’s lock click shut. You held your breath as a mischievous grin graced his lips.
Oh gods, you were looking at his lips. You couldn't seem to look away.
He lowered his voice to a gruff whisper. “Might we finish what we started?”
With the smallest nod of your head, he immediately ducked his head to press his lips against yours. Your small noise of surprise made him pull away for a second and grin, before he playfully growled and lifted you from the ground. His eyes stayed trained on yours as he walked a few steps and firmly shoved your back against the wall. Your breath hitched as his hand found that place at the back of your neck, and this time, you kissed him. Eagerly, hungrily, feeling so overwhelmingly euphoric that this was even happening.
It had to be a dream, you thought as his lips trailed along your jawline, his hot breath hit your neck and his strong unwavering arms kept you above the ground and level with his gaze. He kissed you not just like a god or a great lover - he kissed you like he wanted you. Like he‘d also been waiting to do this for an unspeakable amount of time. It felt like relief.
Pulling you both back from the wall, Loki's lips didn’t relent as your fingers tangled once again in his hair. He walked backwards and found his seat on the end of your bed, sitting with you in his lap as he had at the party.
“Gods, you enrapture me,“ he pulled away, a little breathless. He grinned and his eyes were hazy. He looked at you intensely before looking back at your lips, subconsciously slipping out his tongue to wet his own. Before you could respond, he was kissing you again. You could have melted into his touch. In fact, you were fairly certain you just might.
He leaned back and you both fell onto the bed, you on top of him. You laughed at the sudden impact and you pulled away for a few seconds to catch your breath. You looked at his adoring gaze and blushed. “I never thought someone like you could want someone like me.”
He furrowed his brow, unsure if you were about to reference his nefarious past.
”You’re so… mighty. You’re a Prince, a god, you’re wickedly smart and powerful and… and I’m just a human.”
“Watch your tongue,” Loki scolded somewhat seriously and held you a little tighter. “Don’t speak of yourself as if you’re insignificant.”
You rolled your eyes and smiled, giving him a look. “You know what I mean.”
“Of course I do, I’m wickedly smart,” he smirked and you playfully swatted at his chest. He smiled contentedly and ran his hands firmly down your sides to settle at your hips. It was an innocent romantic gesture, one to position you for further making-out with Loki, but your eyes widened at the memory of his discovery the previous weekend and the assumption that the God of Mischief was about to turn the tables.
Unluckily for you, your flustered expression rendered it a self-fulfilling prophesy.
“Loki…” You warned as you saw the glint in his eye.
“That’s right…” His smirk widened to a devilish grin.
”How about you keep kissing me, huh?” You laughed nervously and leaned in closer. Loki laughed and nodded, bringing his hand up to cradle the back of your neck as you pressed your lips to his. Once your arms were around his neck, he deepened the kiss and rolled over, putting you underneath him. Still on the edge of the bed, your feet barely skimmed the floor. Then, he suddenly became the classic Loki you knew.
“Mmmhmhm!” You whined and giggled a little into the kiss as the fingers belonging to his arm around your waist started ever so gently scratching at your side. “Mmnnoho!” You broke away and gave him a pouting look. He lifted his head and smirked.
Gods. He’d never looked so unspeakably hot.
Messy curls framing his face, that look he gave you that said You’re In Trouble in his distinct Loki way, mixed with the desire in his piercing blue eyes; you’d gladly endure his torture if it meant he looked at you like that.
But maybe that’s because you had no idea what was coming.
“Darling,” he cocked his head and kissed your cheek before kissing just below your ear. “I am the God of Mischief….“ he kissed your neck in a way that you were sure was intended to tickle. You giggled and bit your lip. “And now that I've got my hands on you, you simply cannot expect me to not exploit this little weakness to its fullest extent.”
“L-Loki!” You blushed at the very real threat and he chuckled.
“How about you guide me, hmm? Where should I start?”
“I’m not playing this game,” you laughed nervously, squirming a bit underneath him and resting your hands on his shoulders to push away the ticklish kisses.
“Aw, come now,” he lifted his head and that same beautiful smirk made your heart beat quick. His hand behind your neck slid down under your shoulder blade until it sat at your upper ribs. You stole a glance down to where it may be, even though you couldn’t see it. He cocked his head again. “No? Alright, I’ll choose.” With a wink his thumb slipped around the side and up into the hollow under your arm.
“LOKI!” You gasped, clamped your arm down from instinct and immediately started squirming and giggling, even though his thumb wasn’t even moving. He grinned again and kissed your lips once more.
“You've been down all week, love. Let's have a bit of fun,” he whispered, then sprang his hand at your waist into action, scratching and grabbing at the soft skin hidden beneath your shirt. You gasped again and started laughing softly, then squeaked when his thumb started wiggling into the hollow under your arm.
"NOHOHO!" You shut your eyes and then squealed loudly when his fingers underneath you began clawing into the back of your uppermost ribs. Damnit, you thought he may start easy on you, not go for three different places at once. You were already in a desperate cackle, bubbling incoherent pleas spilling from your lips as you writhed underneath his amused self.
"I'm honestly delighted you're so ticklish," Loki teased with a chuckle. "It's adorable, really. So professional all the time, yet..." He finished his sentence by intensifying his touch and speed at all three sites of attack, drawing a small shriek from your laughing lips and a jolt from your body. "Has it always been this easy to undo you?"
“OHMYGOHOD!” You shrieked, throwing your head against the bed and trying to buck your upper body against him to no avail. He paused his torture and kissed you deeply again, lips curled into a smile as he pressed his lips to yours. You shook your head and broke away, still laughing. “Youhou’re ridiculous! We were hahaving such a nice moment and y-you ruined ihit,” you whimpered. He kissed to again to silence your complaints.
“What did you expect?”
“I-I expected a nice romantic moment!” You laughed and brought both arms between you and him to shove at his shoulders. “Now,” you gave him a stern look. “Do you want to tickle me, or kiss me? You can only choose one.”
He scoffed. “I don’t do ultimatums, darling.”
“You do now.”
“Bold.“ He stuck his tongue against his cheek then ducked his head to the side in consideration. He then looked at your face, which you’d been attempting to hold in some semblance of a firm glare. He lowered his lips to your ear and you heard him chuckle once. “Far too bold for someone so ticklish.”
He whipped his arms out from under you and pressed his weight down again, trapping your arms between your bodies as he clawed into the front and sides of your lowest ribs.
“NOHOAHAH!” You immediately fell into desperate belly-laughter as his fingers drilled and clawed into the spaces between your bones. Your feet kicked helplessly, merely grazing the ground as laughter kept spilling from you. “NOHO! NO! LOKIHI I CAHAN’T!” He shifted his hands further up your ribcage and snuck his fingers around to dig in at the back and, after one more shriek, your laughter went silent. It was trapped in your chest as his squeezing and vibrating fingers found every sensitive space on your ribs that made you want to melt into a little puddle. You were gasping for air by the time he halted his attack, squeaking and wheezing as you tried to regain your breath.
It was torture, but you hoped he wouldn’t ask you if it was worth enduring to have him this close. If he could spot a lie from lightyears away, how much easier could he spot it when he was close enough for you to see the flecks of green in his eyes.
”You’re… you’re gonna kill me,” you hiccoughed. He smirked and leaned in for another kiss. “Nuh-uh,” you pulled your finger up as much as you could from where your arms were trapped. “You made your choice.”
He grinned and slid his hands down your sides with a wink, "Oh? Then I'll gladly continue."
"W-w-wait! I dihidn't th-WAHAIT!"
His thumbs drilled relentlessly into your hips as Loki joined in with your loud laughter. You finally managed to wiggle your arms out from where they were trapped at your chest, shooting them down to grab at his fingers. Your feet having no traction and his near entire weight pressing you to the bed made it impossible to buck or lift any part of your torso, so you were completely trapped with nowhere to go as he gripped and grabbed at the skin of your hips, kneading at the pressure points that made you squeak and squirm beneath him.
When he tired of your fingers trying to grab his, he did a devilish swift lift of his own body and slotted his hands between the two of you, settling them palms-down over the majority of your belly. You made a huge gasping noise and started frantically giggling and squealing even before he'd moved his hands. You shook your head and begged for him to kiss you instead, nervous high-pitched giggles interlacing your words.
"N-noho, Loki just kihiss me, kiss me plehease! PLEASE!" You squeaked, cupping his cheeks and gently pulling him towards you. He chuckled and grinned, gently digging a few fingers in just once. You thrashed and renewed your struggling and squealing efforts. "Dohon't you DAHARE! I won't kiss you agahain if you do this!" You threatened. He cocked his head and leaned in a little closer to look deep into your eyes. Then, he grinned and whispered:
"Lightyears."
You thought for certain you'd pass out from laughter when Loki's fingers sprang into action and rippled against your hypersensitive stomach. You laughed loudly, completely powerless to stop his fingers from digging in wherever they pleased. After not much time at all, your laughter went silent and you weakly batted at his shoulders, sides, face, anything your hands could find for themselves since your eyes were shut so tight. Any words your brain even began to think of forming got lost as laughter ripped through your chest from the electric intensity of his fingers against your body.
When your hands finally found both sides of his face, you used all the energy you had left to press your laughing lips against his and, finally, he relented. You fell back with a loud gasp as he retracted his hands with an amused chuckle and took his weight mostly off you, propping himself up with a hand planted either side of your head.
"Alright there, darling?" He teased as you coughed weakly and wiped the tears of mirth from your cheeks. You gave him a scowl, but he found it adorable.
"Thihis isn't fair," you crossed your arms defiantly.
"No?" He smirked. "Pray tell, my love. What isn't fair?"
Oh. My love. His love.
That took any breath you'd managed to get back in your lungs.
"Y-you... you..." But your words were lost in the bliss of being his. He seemed to quickly understand how his words touched your heart, and it softened his teasing demeanour, and softened his smirk into a smile. "You found my worst spots so soon," you managed to murmur through rosy cheeks.
"Was only a matter of time."
"But now you have the upper hand."
"Dear heart, this isn't a struggle for power," he laughed heartily. "I do not seek to rule over you. Anything you ask of me, anything in the Nine Realms, I will give to you."
"Tell me where you're ticklish."
He chuckled and pressed a chaste kiss to your lips before falling down beside you. He hummed in contentment as he wrapped his arms around your waist to pull you as close as you could be.
"Anything but that."

hey! first of all i’m obsessed with all of your writing i swear i cry every single time😭🤍 i look forward to reading your stuff when i get home from work, and it helps me when i’m stressed. so basically hi i love you. i recently celebrated 1 year sober and i was wondering if you could write something abou harry dedicating a song to his gf for maintaining her sobriety? (only if you’re comfortable ofc!)
hi, i love you too! sorry for making you cry😭 your words are so kind and you’ve made my day so much brighter! congratulations on your one year sobriety!!! i hope you’re very proud of yourself, because i’m really proud of you - always <33 i’m not sure what you are sober for and i don’t to be invasive and ask, so i decided to base this one off an alcohol addiction. this one’s for you, my lovely; (oh and p.s. let’s pretend harry wrote ‘home’ just for you and one direction never wrote it!)
Today you celebrated being one year sober.
Four years ago you developed an alcohol addiction. It was the worst time of your life; going to parties just to wake up still paralytic, drinking an alcoholic drink with every meal and a couple in between, falling asleep drunk every night and not learning your lesson from the hangover the next morning. You were self destructing and were too gone to see it happen. The people around you could see it happening though. Your family and friends abandoned you because you they believed you were a lost cause. You were alone for 3 lonely years, until last year you met Harry.
The one time that you were actually sober, shopping in your local Aldi, was the first time you met him.
He was dressed from a run and was in the fridge section to grab himself a protein shake before he was about to run home - that you’d come to learn. He made minimal conversation with you, but it was enough for him to fall for you - hard. Every time you met up with him you tried to be as sober as you could, but it caught up to you. You slipped and shut yourself out from him, not wanting him to leave you like everyone else had so you left him first.
As it would be, he never left you. He saved you.
He was there for you in your darkest moments. He was there to help lock your demons away and introduce life back into your heart and soul. You wanted to be better for him, he deserved that much. Half a year after meeting him, he managed to encourage you to attend counselling sessions which you would be worse without. He made calls to friends to help you re-connect with people, truly friendly people. He hugged you on the days you felt anxious or tempted and let you cry on his shoulder when you felt like a failure, all the whilst he would kiss your forehead and squeeze you to remind you just how much you were loved and just how proud he was of you. It took you a while to believe it, but;
Harry Styles loves and is proud of you.
You were so happy to spending the day with him, getting to watch him do what he loves so much. He was in Denver, Colorado, tonight and his set was going perfect so far. He’d given his infamous “ass or face” speech, which made the fans go wild. He, unfortunately, had to use the oxygen mask to replenish his lungs because he wasn’t feeling great. He’d even shouted to you when you were blowing him kisses saying, “I wanna kiss you but I can’t” which made you tear up ever so slightly. Today was such a proud and happy day for you, so extra moments like this for you were the cherries on the top of the cake.
“Okay, so we have 15 more minutes of love tonight for you.” Harry spoke into his microphone, after singing Treat People With Kindness and looking so very sweaty. “15 minutes of extra love compared to the previous show.” The fans screamed at this and you knew the fans in Vegas would no doubt be extra jealous.
“He’s allowed to do that?” You asked Jeff beside you, wondering why he was changing the timings all of a sudden. He hadn’t told you about this.
“He specifically requested it before going onstage.” Jeff answered, winking at you and nodding his head back to the stage for you to focus.
“Now. Today is not only special because I get to play in front of you lovely people,” the crowd let out a deafening scream, “but because it is an important day for my Y/N.” He smiled, looking over in your direction. The crowd screamed even louder for you.
“What is he doing?” You asked Jeff but he only smiled and shrugged his shoulders. Liar, you thought.
You’d never publicly told anyone about your addiction because it was something that you were embarrassed about. You hated who you were and you tried your hardest not to think about that person anymore. Harry was the only person who knew and you liked to keep it that way, for the time being. Not even your new friends knew.
“I’m so proud of Y/N, always, but especially today.” Harry spoke, walking down the stage to the end of the runway where his mic was set up and still keeping eye contact with you. Your tears were full in your eyes and some even streaming down your face as you took in his words.
He’d spent all morning loving on you. He didn’t let you two leave the hotel room until 5 minutes before the buses were leaving, because he wanted to spend as much time as possible showing you just how much he loved you. Turns out 4 rounds of sex, 2 blowjobs and 3 times getting eaten out doesn’t even come close to showing that, according to him, but it did make you feel worthy and that’s all you’ve wanted to feel for the past few years. He made you feel worth it - it being loved and supported and safe. He was your blanket of comfort and you’d let him swallow you up every day for the rest of your life if it meant feeling this way forever.
Harry had even bought you a card and a cake, one that had a singular candle in to mark your one year anniversary of being sober. The sense of pride getting to blow out that candle was a feeling second to none, except from maybe the 7 orgasms you were given.
“So if you don’t mind, i’m going to sing this song for my girlfriend. It’s new, but i’m sure you’ll pick up the chorus. This is called ‘Home’ and it’s just for you, m’love.” God damn these tears, you could barely see Harry pick up his galaxy painted guitar and tilt his body so he was facing you.
The song had you in tears.
Fans were both recording you and Harry, but you were too unaware to notice them when all you could focus on were the words he was singing to you. Every line was so clear and it made your heart burst through your chest that little bit more each time. You cupped your hands under your vin as you cried over every new line of song, watching him strum on the guitar and sing his heart out as if every ounce of him was just for you. His words, his voice, his heart and soul were completely yours. The fans did quickly pick up the chorus and the atmosphere was completely still, yet electric with them feeding off Harrys energy and gifting it to you.
“You’ll never feel like you’re alone, i’ll make this feel like home.”
His last line was sung and his last chord was struck and you couldn’t move an inch. You were stuck watching him with intense loved eyes, feeling an overwhelming sense of support and comfort just from this moment alone. You thought what he’d given you this morning in the hotel was love, but now you questioned that. This felt like a reminder you were free and safe and found. You felt significant. And for a moment, that all felt a like bit stronger than love.
You didn’t even realise your boyfriend was standing in front of you until he was. He caressed your cheek in one hand, holding the neck of his guitar with his other. The fans were being caged behind a barricade, but they weren’t even violently pushing because they wanted to see how he treated you and acted around you behind closed doors. Your relationship was very private, so this was very new for you too. You liked him close though. So much so that everyone else sort of slipped away.
“That bad?” He asked teasingly, referring to the amount of tears you were crying.
“Was a bit rusty in some places.” You teased back, you and him both knowing you didn’t mean a word that you’d just said. You both laughed until you caught Harrys hand on your cheek and moved it so you could plant a soft kiss to his palm. “Thank you for making me feel home.” You smiled, new tears forming in both yours and his now.
“Thank you for being my home.” He replied, smiling through the light tears.
“Stop crying,” you laughed through your own tears, reaching out your other hand to wipe his away, “not very rockstar of you.”
“Can’t help myself when i’m so proud of you.” He answered, moving his hand off his guitar so he could help wipe your tears away. Both of you were helping each other recover, forgetting about the world just for a minute to have a moment with each other. You both deserved that much.

“I Think He Knows” - A Kingsman Fanfic
Tumblr media
TSwift Songfic Week Day 5
Pairing: Agent Whiskey x M!Reader
Warnings: 18+ Explicit (Pining, dirty talk, hand jobs, oral sex)
A/N: I feel like there’s a lack of M/M in the Pedro cinematic universe fandom, so here’s some bisexual Whiskey having a good time with a fellow male agent.
Summary: You and Agent Whiskey are paired together for an out-of-state mission. On your last night, your pining and his flirting finally come to a head.
I think he knows his hands around
A cold glass
Make me wanna know that body
Like it's mine
The mission was long but you were finally finished with it. Three weeks in Dallas were more than enough for you, and you were looking forward to getting home to your own bed and your own office in Kentucky. You were aching for the privacy it offered, after spending almost a month sharing a hotel room with your fellow agent. This time you’d been paired up with Agent Whiskey, and because of that you were glad the trip was almost over.
It’s not because Agent Whiskey- Jack - was incapable. Quite the opposite. He was extremely efficient and good at his job but he was also… extremely attractive. Which was a huge distraction.
You took pride in being a capable agent but Jack and his pretty face compromised that. You’ve never been in a situation like this before. Lusting over your coworker felt extremely unprofessional, but it was impossible to ignore him. He was an in-your-face kind of guy, always butting in with a comment or joke, always using his body as a weapon. He’d lounge around your shared hotel room in nothing but a thin towel, his wet hair draped across his forehead, and you swear he did it on purpose. The man knew how attractive he was and he obviously loved flaunting it.
He was tall and tan, with soft brown hair, a pair of beautiful round eyes that seemed to sparkle with amusement, and a smile that made your knees weak. The downside was that his smile made just about everyone weak. You were living in your own personal hell. Every single day having to watch Jack be attractive without even trying, and then watch as everyone in his vicinity tried to flirt with him. Tonight he was wearing a black leather jacket and extremely tight jeans, looking more like a movie star than an undercover agent. The man could pull off anything. It’s actually unfair.
You were out at some dive bar, celebrating the end to a successful mission before flying home tomorrow. It was Jack’s idea of course, but you’d agreed because you needed a stiff drink after these three long weeks and honestly you couldn’t say no to him.
“Another round, kid?”
You glanced up and saw him staring at you, a twinkle in his bright eyes. His hand gripped his empty whiskey glass and you eyed your own half-full drink. You couldn’t throw it back like him.
“I’m good for now,” you answered.
He nodded and slapped you on the shoulder as he stood up, “I’ll get you another one anyway. You better finish that by the time I get back.”
You sighed as you watched him walk away. His ass looked fantastic in those jeans. All the training and harsh exercise routines that Champ put the team through really worked for him. No wonder he could get any pretty thing he wanted.
Speaking of which, he seemed to have turned his affections on someone else. You groaned, your eyes never wavering from where Jack stood. He was currently making small talk with the pretty brunette bartender. He was giving her the full Whiskey treatment- gazing at her with those soft, mocha-colored puppy dog eyes and giving her a charming half-grin. Watching him flirt was simultaneously entertaining and torturous. He threw his head back, laughing at some dumb joke the bartender must have said, and you almost growled out loud as you hungrily stared at his neck.
Stupid horny bastard.
He got that boyish look that I like in a man
I am an architect, I'm drawing up the plans
It's like I'm seventeen, nobody understands
No one understands
You were getting really sick of hiding your partial hard-ons and jacking off in the cold shower, but everything the man did was hot. The deep voice and accent alone were enough to get you going on most days. God, you hadn’t felt like this since high school.
If Jack noticed you staring or caught on to the fact that you took extra long showers, he didn’t say anything. You were openly out at the agency and your sexuality wasn’t a secret. When you first joined the Statesmen, you felt you had something to prove at work, as if you had to demonstrate your masculinity by keeping up with the largest members of the team. But you’ve excelled in your role for years now and you were beyond proving yourself at this point. You were just glad that Agent Whiskey wasn’t one of the people who cared that you liked men.
In fact, he treated you just like he treated everyone-- this meant he wasn’t shy about flirting and teasing you. Sometimes it seemed like he was coming onto you, but you had to remind yourself that he was like that with everyone-- you weren’t special and there was no way he was actually interested.
Before falling asleep each night, you’d listen to Jack’s soft snores and run scenarios through your head of every possible way that you could share your feelings. You thought about all of the things you could say, and all of the ways Jack could react. It was agonizing but your analytical mind couldn’t stop. You wished you had the courage to just ask him out. The worst that could happen is he’d say ‘no’ and maybe request to never work with you again, but then at least you’d be free of him.
Wanna see what's under that attitude
Like, I want you, bless my soul
And I ain't gotta tell him
I think he knows
A loud laugh suddenly interrupted your thoughts and you looked over to the bar again. The bartender was giggling and grasping at Jack’s arm. The sight made your stomach turn, and you made a quick decision to get out of there before you had to watch them start making out over the bar.
You stepped up next to Jack and finally drew his attention away from the girl.
“Hey, hold off on my drink. I’m gonna head out,” you told him.
“What? Come on now, it’s so early!”
“Yeah. I just don’t really feel like hanging out anymore. I’ll see you back there.”
Before Jack could respond, you threw down some cash on the bar and turned away. You were already across the floor and on your way out the door when a hand on your arm stopped you.
“Hey. Are you pissed at me or something?”
“No,” you muttered, trying to ignore the shot of arousal you felt when he grabbed you, “I just don’t feel like sitting in the corner, watching you flirt with some chick.”
You tried to turn away from him, but Jack let out a quiet “ohhh” of understanding. His grip on your arm tightened.
“We’ve been on this mission for weeks now, and on our last night you finally decide to say something?” Jack laughed, turning you around so you were facing him again. He invaded your personal space, ducking his head and trailing his nose along your neck and jaw.
“What?” you asked, confused because he couldn’t possibly mean...
“You're so slow, that’s what,” Jack mumbled, his lips tracing along your neck. It felt amazing, but... was Jack- your fellow agent and known womanizer- really nuzzling your neck right now?
“I'm confused, are you really into this?” you asked again, trying to hold back a moan. Jack pulled away and looked at you with huge eyes.
“God, you’re an idiot. I've been sending you obvious signs, makin’ eyes at you and showing off what I got, and now I'm literally biting your neck, and you're still asking?” Jack said incredulously. You searched his face and saw eyes that were filled with desperation and lust.
“I just assumed…”
“I like it both ways, kid. Is that clear enough for you?”
He then took one step forward and kissed you fully on the lips. There was only a moment of shock before you melted into the kiss, pressing your bodies closer and running your hands over Jack’s shoulders and back. All of your worries disappeared then. You didn't feel the terrible anxiety that constantly filled you with dread. Your mind stopped frantically thinking about every possible worst case scenario. Everything stopped. There was only Jack.
“Oh ohhhh right. Yeah I’m an idiot,” you quietly mumbled against his lips, “Want to go back to the hotel?”
“Fuckin’ finally,” he replied with a grin.
Lyrical smile, indigo eyes, hand on my thigh
We can follow the sparks, I'll drive
So where we gonna go?
I whisper in the dark
You weren’t sure how you made it back to the hotel so quickly, but as soon as you tumbled through the door, Jack had you pinned to the bed underneath him. His hands roamed all over your torso, and he pulled the shirt over your head and tossed it aside before quickly doing the same to his own. The room was filled with your little whimpers every time Jack ground his hips against yours. You stared up at him, his lips swollen and red bitten and eyes blown with lust, and you were positive that you looked just as debauched. He looked just as beautiful hovering over you as you’d always imagined, and you wanted to feel him everywhere.
“More,” you whined, canting your hips up into Jack’s.
He groaned and trailed his hands down your chest, his fingers brushing against your nipples, causing a moan to slip from your mouth. He continued his journey down until he reached the fly of your jeans.
“Lift up,” Jack mumbled, leaning in to kiss your neck as he tried to tug your pants down. You obeyed and soon your pants and your boxers were off, leaving you completely exposed.
“Fuckin’ hell,” he moaned, his fingers barely brushing over your erection, “You’re even prettier than I thought, darlin’.”
You groaned, pushing your body closer to Jack’s. As his hand slowly learned the feel of your cock, your own hands wandered all over his body. From his strong shoulders to his muscular back, to his waist, his hips, his thick thighs. You slipped one hand into his jeans to grab his ass, finally getting the chance to touch the part of Jack’s body you’d fantasized about the most. You could feel his clothed erection rubbing against your thigh as Jack continued steadily stroking your cock.
“Jack,” you whimpered, gazing into his dark, lust-filled eyes. You were barely able to control your thoughts properly since Jack’s pace was getting quicker and way too distracting. He grinned down at you.
“This good, baby? You want it a little rougher?” he asked, a groan slipping from his lips as you squeezed his ass in response.
Jack pushed forward and kissed you harder this time, moving his hand faster along your cock. Then he kissed his way down your neck, sucking and nipping all your sensitive spots. Suddenly he bit down hard on the skin between your neck and shoulder, following it up with a long lick with his wide tongue. That show of possessiveness was enough to push you right to the edge. You cried out as pleasure tore through you, coming in ropes all over Jack’s large hand. You gasped for breath, your chest rising and falling as your head lolled against the pillows.
Jack hovered over you, continuing to kiss your neck and upper chest as you came down from your high. “I’ve been told I’m good with my hands, can I get a confirmation on that, darlin'?“ he asked with a cocky grin.
Your eyes blinked open and you smirked at him. “You’ve got the confirmation all over your hand.”
“Ooooh, so he’s mouthy all of a sudden. Guess I just had to get you in bed to see the sassy side of you, huh?” Jack tutted.
“I’ll show you mouthy,” you muttered, blushing at the stupid euphemism even as you trailed a line of kisses down Jack’s sternum and belly.
When you reached the top of his jeans, you surprised your fellow agent by flipping him over and yanking his pants down in one fluid motion. Jack growled at the switch, but when you took his cock into your mouth, he gasped and surged forward. You enjoyed the desperate moan he made as you swallowed him completely, his hips bucking into your mouth. But you wanted to take your time with this. You grasped his hip bone with one hand and held him down, before pulling off his cock and moving to lightly lick his balls. Jack was making beautiful, desperate noises and you loved the idea that this strong, confident agent was falling apart because of you. You smiled against him and swiped your tongue along the bottom of his shaft before taking him fully into your mouth again.
“Holy hell, you’re fuckin’ amazing,“ Jack groaned as you bobbed up and down on his cock, “I’m so close-”
You sucked harder and reached your other hand down to fondle his balls again as Jack thrust into your mouth. Soon he was arching forward and shouting your name. You let him come in your mouth, swallowing his seed down like it was another shot at the bar.
When you looked up at Jack from between his legs, you grinned. He had his head tilted back, one hand thrown across his mouth as he stared at the ceiling, breathing heavily. When he felt your eyes on him, he looked down at you with a satisfied smile.
“Damn, that was…”
“Amazing,” you cut him off, “Even better than I imagined.”
“So you imagined it, huh?”
Unable to control the urge any longer, you leaned forward and pulled Jack into a sweet, affectionate kiss. You ran your fingers through his soft hair and you could feel him grinning the whole time. When you finally pulled back, he was still smiling but he also looked a bit confused.
“Why haven’t we done this sooner?” he asked.
“I was convinced you were straight. I’ve been a fucking mess trying to decide if I should say something or not,” you replied.
Jack hummed and reached for you, but you chuckled and pulled away.
“You need a shower,” you said, “Then we can talk some more.”
“Only if you join me, sugar...”
I want you, bless my soul
I ain't gotta tell him
I think he knows

Notes: This is my submission for @sableseb’s 1.5K Lyric Challenge Celebration. The lyric I chose was “You been a bad kitty, Imma spank that” - So Pretty by Reyanna Maria ft Tyga. Also I apologize for this, I am a whore for nomad!Steve and all his deepest darkest fantasies.
It was almost 1:30am and y/n couldn’t sleep, mindlessly scrolling through Instagram to pass the time. Her parents had left on an early flight that morning to Cancun for their special twentieth anniversary celebration, leaving y/n at home alone for the entire weekend.
She didn’t mind being by herself in her family’s estate, she preferred it, but there was an itch she hadn’t quite been able to scratch all day. And by itch that meant her insatiable horniness. Ever since her sexual awakening earlier that year all she could think about was sex. And luckily, her virginity had been taken by none other than Captain fucking America himself. Well, he didn’t really go by that anymore, given the events that had unfolded with the Sokovia Accords. At this point he was just Steve, laying low to ensure that no one would find out his location.
They had met completely by accident at a dingy bar downtown. One of y/n’s best friends had heard from her older sister how the bartenders there were never able to tell the difference between real and fake IDs, and so that’s how y/n ended up at the bar that night.
She had turned eighteen that summer and had just started her first year at college, the two wanting to celebrate with a few drinks. Y/N had just ordered her first mojito of the evening when she saw him. He was sitting a few seats down from her on the padded bar stool, nursing the beer in front of him. When he heard the girls approach, their smiles flashing brightly as they handed over their fakes to the clueless bartender, Steve couldn’t help but roll his eyes.
Y/N’s friend had gone to the bathroom, leaving y/n alone to wait for her drinks at the bar.
“You’re not that great an actress.” Steve commented, his stare trained on y/n.
She flipped her hair over her shoulder, furrowing her brows at him, pretending as if he was talking in a language she didn’t quite understand. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Steve slid his beer two seats down, moving so he was now sitting right beside her. He can smell the remnants of her spearmint gum on her lips. He leans into her ear, his voice lowering an octave.
“You’re not 21, you’re barely eighteen. I can practically smell your virgin pussy from here.”
And not long after that comment her dress was crumpled around her waist as she was getting railed in the bathroom sink of the men’s room. Her virginity was taken by a man she barely knew, and he took pleasure in every second of making her his personal fuck-toy.
Just the thought of their first encounter had her pussy throbbing, her finger clicking on the message app on her phone with a cheeky smile on her face.
Y/N: Come over, my parents are out of town 😘
Daddy 💋: What are you offering? 👀
Y/N: My kitty needs your attention 🐱
Daddy: Unlock the front door, be ready in 20
Y/N smiled at his text, her stomach flip flopping as she rushed downstairs to unlock the door, running quickly back up them and into her closet to find something more appropriate to wear. She had just been relaxing all day at home, donning a pair of black sweats and an old band tee. Running her fingers along the fabrics in her closet, she finally decided on her lacy black bodysuit that hugged her curves and pulled her tits in tight against her chest.
She knew exactly how he liked her when he came to visit: face down, ass up, and back arched, revealing her pretty kitty for him. Y/N got into position, hearing the click of the door opening and shutting five minutes later, his loud footsteps echoing up the stairs. Her pussy tightened as she heard his steps headed down the hallway towards her room, her heart racing in anticipation.
“There’s my pretty girl.” Steve’s eyes enveloped the sight of her ready for him, the lace accentuating her body perfectly. “And I see you remembered to listen to orders, that’s a good girl.”
He walked achingly slow towards the bed, crouching down behind her to examine her glistening folds. Steve swiped a finger against them, a dark chuckle escaping his lips. “God you’re so fucking wet, have you been like this all day? Couldn’t wait another minute so you had to text me late at night? Wanted to be stuffed with my fat cock before you go to sleep?” The words turn her on even further, bucking her ass back towards him to receive some form of friction.
“Now, now, pretty girl. You know how this works, use your words.” Y/N mewled on the bed, her eyes fluttering as she wiggled her ass back and forth for him. “Please daddy, want you to play with my pussy.” Steve’s chest swells with pride at her words, his cock already hard as a rock in his jeans. He moves his two pointer fingers, one on each side of her folds, spreading them apart to inspect her tight heat even further.
“So pretty, baby. Your pussy is just begging to be played with. Gonna eat you out real nice before you get fucked on daddy’s cock.” He leans closer to her cunt, licking a strip from her clit to her asshole, groaning at how her pussy juices taste on his tongue. He holds her pussy open further, spitting directly into her hole before diving his tongue in to lick inside of her. Y/N is letting out pornographic moans as his tongue swirls inside of her, her head lulling to the side against the bed.
“You taste delicious, be a good girl for me and push back on my tongue, want you to ride my face before daddy abuses your cunt with his cock.” He barely gets a chance to breathe before he’s diving back in, his thick beard getting soaked with her juices as she pushes her pussy back into his face, sitting back on it and fucking herself onto his tongue. The hair of his beard is tickling her clit which each thrust back, the familiar feeling pooling in the pit of her stomach.
“Fuck, daddy, feels so good, can I cum please?” Steve shakes his head against her, giving her a non-verbal okay as she spasms on his tongue, his big hands gripping her ass and holding her steady on his mouth, lapping up all the sweetness she had to offer. Y/N slowly comes back down from her high, panting as Steve pulls his head back from her, his beard coated in her slick.
“You did so good for me, baby.” He moves to stand behind her ass, throwing off his shirt, unbuttoning his jeans and stepping out of them and his boxers, his cock springing free against his chest. He strokes it languidly, his hand coming up and slapping against her bare ass-cheek, a soft cry leaving y/n’s lips from the sting.
“Turn around, be a good girl and get daddy’s cock nice and wet for your tight cunt.” Steve purrs, watching as y/n turns around to face him on her hands and knees, waiting at the edge of the bed and instinctively opening her mouth. Steve steps closer, rubbing his cock against her mouth, precum smearing on her bottom lip before he slowly pushes inside her mouth.
His hands move to grab onto her hair, holding his fistfuls up like the reigns on a horse, the perfect grips as he slides all the way inside, bottoming out at the back of her throat and watching as she gags trying to hold him there.
“C’mon, baby, I know you can take it.” Steve states, pulling his hips back so that his cock is on the edge of her bottom lip before slamming back in again, cutting off y/n’s air supply. He continues his movements back and forth, tears flowing from y/n’s eyes as she tries to relax her throat for him. One move forward has her choking hard, pulling off of him with a sputter, saliva running down her chin to her chest. She coughed a few times, Steve’s eyes growing dark as he tugs a fistful of her hair, making him look up at her.
“Did I say you could pull off my cock?” He asked, his erection bouncing in front of her face. Y/N shook her head, eyes wide and her mascara smeared from her tears.
“N-No daddy.” Y/N stammered, her pussy clenching. “It was too deep daddy; I couldn’t take it.”
Steve’s face flashed fake sadness, his fingers trailing over the skin of her ass.
“You’ve been a bad kitty, I’ma spank that.” His hand moves off her and returns fiercely, popping her hard on her ass, y/n twitching from the contact. He spanks her one, two, three times before his hand rubs against her skin, watching the red indents from his fingers appearing on her skin.
“Now, do you think you can be a good girl for daddy again?” Y/N sniffles, wiping some of the tears that are streaming down her face, nodding her head eagerly.
“Yes daddy, just want to be your good girl.” She choked out, batting her long eyelashes at him. Steve walks over to the side of the bed, moving to rest his back against the headboard, sitting up with his cock in his hand. “Well then, come ride daddy’s cock and show me just how good you can be.”
Y/N turns around on the bed, crawling until she’s hovering over Steve’s thighs, lining up his cock with folds and swallowing down a lump in her throat. She slowly seats herself with his cock inside her, waiting as she adjusted to each inch before continuing to push down until she felt her thighs touch his chest. His big hands instinctively grab at her hips, holding her up as she starts to bounce on his cock.
His eyes stay glued to her chest as her tits bounce in the black lace, her nipples hardened against the fabric there. She’s moving up and down, her face completely fucked out in bliss, moans escaping with each push down onto his cock.
“Daddy, please can I cum? Please!” She whines, her pussy leaking. His hands roughly pull her hips to him, a satisfied smile spreading on his face as she’s coming undone above him.
“Yes baby, cum on my cock, make a mess for daddy.” Y/N bounces down one more time before she stills, her walls milking his cock as she cums for a second time.
“God, you’re still so tight, you’d think that with all the abuse I give to your cunt that you wouldn’t be. You feel just like you did the day I took your virginity.” Her body lulls above him and Steve moves to push her back against the bed, pulling his cock out before slamming it back into her, holding her up by the back of her neck.
“You’re so fucked out, aren’t you? You came twice already; think you can give me a third?” Y/N mumbles something, her eyes blinking as stars form in her vision again, cumming for the third time with his cock deep inside of her.
“That’s a good girl, look at you going all stupid on my cock. Haven’t let anyone else fuck this pussy since you met daddy, huh? I’m the one who owns your dumb holes.” Y/N whines below him, her body dragging back against the comforter with each of his thrusts.
“You like that idea, don’t you baby? Owning you and never letting another man touch you, ruining your holes forever.” He quickened his pace inside of her, his orgasm building. “Bet you’d let me stick my fat cock in your ass too, watch your dumb baby brain switch off when I fill your ass full of my cum.” Steve shakes her head gently for her to make eye contact with him, holding her stare as his breathing becomes ragged.
“Gonna fill up this pussy baby.” He announces, his hips stuttering to a halt as he paints her walls with his cum, letting his cum completely unload inside of her before pulling out slowly, watching as his cum and hers starts to leak out of her pussy onto the bed.
Steve leans over the bed and tosses his shirt at her, a devilish smile on his lips. “Clean up your mess, I’m not done with you tonight.”

Author’s Note: This update literally made me sob because I edited it and formatted it and it just disappeared when I posted. I seriously felt my heart drop because it took so long to format... ANYWAYS I wonder if anyone guessed the secret.
Tumblr media
”You can’t do this, Luna ... Come back inside.”
Your hand tightened on the doorknob.
“I was just going out for some air-”
Jin shook his head, letting his lanky frame collapse onto the overstuffed chair by the fireplace.
“And after the air... then what?”
Your terse silence was confirmation enough.
He sighed heavily, hating himself a little for what he had to do.
“You cannot go to him. They’ll smell you on his skin and it could cost him... dearly.”
Your eyes fluttered shut.
“I just wanted to see him...,” you whispered. “I wanted to talk to him just once before-”
A sob bubbled up in your throat and your hand flew up to cover it.
The dawn would come in two hours.
And then Park Jimin would be gone.
Jin’s arms wrapped around your shoulders and you fell against him hopelessly.
“They’re going to make me watch, Jin-ah. I-I have to watch him-”
Bitter tears overtook you, wracking your body with the violence of your despair.
“I know...,” he murmured softly into your hair, “I know.”
Tumblr media
“Do you think he’ll really show up?”
The chief elder glared fiercely at the young man who dared voice such a question.
The entire pack had jammed themselves into the clearing where the challenge was taking place and despite the solemnity of the occasion, the atmosphere buzzed with barely contained speculation.
“Park Jimin was chosen by the goddess herself to be her champion or to be the divine test of her champion. Have some respect,” he hissed.
The young pup had the decency to look abashed, but the chief elder was already ignoring him in favor of the newest arrival...
A Luna wore only three ceremonial colors at any given time.
Green for celebration and harvest was worn in times of laughter and gaiety.
Blue for mourning and peaceful resolve was worn in times of trial and hardship.
Red for passion and vengeance was worn in times of war and signified the sacred bonds that wove the pack together.
Your mother laid out a blue cloak as it was the color chosen by every Luna who had ever faced down a provocatione ritual.
But you arrived in sumptuous Red.
It was a stunning act of defiance, a wordless declaration of your fury. You were here to obey the goddess, but in a crimson cloak you would not embrace this challenge with peaceful resolve.
An attack upon your mate, even under these circumstances, was an attack upon you.
You had come dressed for war.
Tumblr media
Jimin heard the gasps echo around his meditation cell.
He and Namjoon arrived at the sacred circle a full hour before dawn and sequestered themselves in the small, free-standing hovels on opposing sides of the the site.
The tiny pods were spaces for an individual to commune with the goddess and center themselves before engaging in the typically life-altering events that brought them there.
Sometimes it was marriage or celebration, sometimes it was acceptance to one of the guilds or a promotion to a higher rank within your family’s clan...
Today it was life and death and the future of the pack that weighed upon the combatants’ shoulders.
The sudden swell of movement and sound pulled Jimin from his meditative state.
What happened?
He got his answer soon after an elder came to escort him into the circle.
It was you.
Your hands and feet were bound to the ornately carved chair they had seated you in. This was a typical precaution because it was natural for a wolf to defend their mate if they were in danger and the restraints kept the Luna from doing so.
The pain in your gaze was agonizing, but in red, flowing down from your shoulders with fiery obstinance, you were every inch the warrior queen.
Yet it was not your rebellious cloak or even your incredible beauty that caused his heart to pound and stutter in glorious shock...
It was the familiar praesidium bracelet wrapped around your wrist; an intimate message of devotion that he and he alone would understand.
Pride and possessiveness roared to life in Jimin’s chest.
She’s mine.
Tumblr media
“You look... surprisingly calm.”
Taehyung jerked guiltily.
“What? Me? I don’t know anything - I mean I’m not calm - I’m frantic. I - I don’t even understand the question.”
Yoongi’s eyebrows raised right up into his hairline.
“Taehyung-ah? Did you put those special mushrooms in your broth this morning? You’re acting a bit strange-”
“No,” Taehyung’s voice cracked. “This is me - this is totally normal me. I’m not - there were no mushrooms-” He cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “So - uh - how’s Yoonji?”
“Oh my go- really?!”
Tumblr media
The chief elder began to recite his speech, reminding the pack of the profound significance this moment carried...
But Yunli could barely hear his words over the ringing in her ears. Her gaze fixed on Namjoon from the moment the elder brought him forward... yet he had not glanced toward her once.
He looked so strong and confident.
So capable of victory.
A faint whimper of abject sorrow worked its way passed her lips and Namjoon’s eyes flew to her instantly.
As if he had always known exactly where she was.
Longing split his features for a fraction of a second.
Then his gaze shuttered again and Yunli’s wolf howled in silent, mournful agony.
Tumblr media
Anticipation bore down upon the assembly as the chief elder uttered the last few sentences with reluctant finality.
The moment had come.
Both alphas stepped into the circle.
You began to tug frantically - futilely - against the bonds. Jin’s hand gripped yours as a tear slipped heedlessly down his cheek.
“I’m sorry,” Namjoon whispered - to you - to Yunli - to Jimin -
To himself.
Then his claws lengthened to a deadly point and he tore forward with a chilling snarl.
Jimin remained unnaturally still, watching his rival barrel towards him with almost calculated intent.
Namjoon’s arm drew back to land the first strike and-

Last Night...
———◐———
“Wait - WHAT?!”
“It was... me. I broke the table.”
Taehyung drew back slowly. His eyebrows furrowed in profound confusion.
“With what? A jackhammer!?”
Jimin tilted his head in amusement.
“Hammerfist strike... actually.” He shrugged. “I lost my temper.”
“You - You lost your-“ Tae began shaking his head rapidly. “Is it a spell of some sort?! Goddess you know better than to get tangled up with witches! You let them give you a band aid and then they show up ten years later asking for your firstborn!”
Jimin rolled his eyes.
“Of course not! No... it’s...” he bit his lip. “You remember that time I came to your house a little too early and... Yoonji had you tied to a bed...”
Tae paled.
“We agreed never to speak of that.”
“And I haven’t - spoken of it - especially since Yoongi still thinks his precious baby cousin is unaware of big bad boy wolves and if he found out you were corrupting her-”
“Wait. You think I was corrupting her?!“
“The point is... it’s a secret. And I know you have your reasons for keeping it that way so... I hope you’ll understand what I’m about to tell you...”

Fourteen Years Ago...
———◐———
Jimin’s hands fidgeted nervously over the flyer that the human boy offered him.
“But I’m only in Seoul for the summer.”
Just long enough to miss Alpha Camp entirely.
“That’s perfect because it’s only a summer program. Seriously, you were so fast catching that jar I knocked over. Your reflexes are amazing and it looks like you’ve got the perfect build for it too.” He tapped the flyer for emphasis. “Think about it.”
No one had ever told Park Jimin that he would be good at anything like this. In fact most people told him he needed to be better...
Bigger.
Stronger.
His eyes traveled over the large letters printed at the top of the brochure.
“Taekwondo...”
——◐——
“...so thank you all again for signing up and attending the orientation. I will see you tomorrow for our first class.”
A strange sense of anticipation hummed through Jimin as he gathered his coat. He was finally doing something for himself; something that had nothing to do with being an alpha-
“You’re a wolf, aren’t you...”
The young instructor who gave the initial demonstration and spoke for most of the orientation stood behind him with his arms crossed.
Jimin’s eyes widened in shock.
“How did you know?”
The stranger tapped his nose.
“My grandfather had a human mate and his pack exiled him for it. I’m mostly human, but this nose can pick up another wolf’s scent just as well as yours.”
Modern packs didn’t exile wolves with human mates anymore, but fifty years ago the practice was still unfortunately common.
“I’m sorry about your grandfather.”
The young man smiled.
“He lived a long happy life with his mate and his family. There’s nothing to be sorry for.” He stretched out his hand. “Lee Taemin.”
“Park Jimin.”
They shook firmly, and Taemin continued to examine him with unconcealed interest.
“Tell me, Park Jimin, what’s an alpha wolf doing all the way out in Seoul? The only pack around here married their last child into one of the mountain nations years ago.”
“That was my mother, actually... I’m here visiting my grandmother.”
Taemin tilted his head curiously.
“I’ve never known wolves to be interested in human martial arts. You lot prefer to fight shifted... In fact, I doubt a mountain wolf could even throw a punch,” he snorted, “not that they’d need to with those fangs.”
Jimin’s shoulders fell a little.
“So... you don’t think I’ll be good at it.”
“On the contrary, I think you could be incredible.”
The young wolf’s face brightened immediately.
“Really?! Even if I’m not as strong as other wolves?”
“Taekwondo isn’t about strength. It’s about speed. Master the speed and the strength will follow.”
———◐———
“Relax your body. Focus your energy.”
Jimin drew in a deep breath as he moved  through the pattern Taemin taught him.
“The power and speed of your wolf is constant, but most wolves do not bother channeling it in human form. Concentrate on your wolf and bring that power into your strike.”
His hand came down on the thin press wood and-
It hurt. A lot.
Taemin chuckled as Jimin cussed and swore, cradling his tender fist grouchily.
“You’ll get it. Just keep practicing.”
“Are you sure I’ll be able to break the boards one day?”
The boy’s face was so round and adorably hopeful. Taemin nodded confidently and offered him some ice.
“A human with training can break boards, but a wolf who harnessed his natural speed and strength could break much more than that.”
———◐———
Twelve Years Ago...
———◐———
“You’ve improved a great deal since last summer. Were you finally able to find a teacher near your pack?”
“Yes - but... she’s not as good as you.”
Finding a local Taekwondo teacher had been the easy part.
Constantly making up excuses to explain his habitual disappearances...
That was trickier.
His mother thought he was hunting with Taehyung, Taehyung thought he was sniffing around some human girl and needed a buddy to cover his tracks.
Sneaking away to practice wasn’t too difficult, but he panicked when Yoongi caught him moving through forms in the woods once and pretended to be doing an interpretive dance.
With no music.
Yoongi had looked at him a little funny since then.
Taemin grinned. “Of course she’s not as good as me. I’m the best. Now take position and let’s see if you can finally land this kick.”
———◐———
Ten Years Ago...
———◐———
Jimin glared at the thick oak board Taemin sent him home with this year.
“It’s a 4x6 solid oak plank. I want you to break it before the winter solstice.”
He snorted, positioning the board between the makeshift vices he fashioned to hold it in place.
“Sure, I’ll just get right on that.”
“...Who are you talking to?”
Jimin groaned internally.
Of course.
“Hey guys,” he turned to greet Jungkook and Hoseok brightly (while completely ignoring the question). “Where - where are you two headed today?”
Jungkook’s eyes sparkled with excitement.
“One of the elders is going to teach us how to build traps! He invited all the unmated alphas to go with him past the boundary lines to test whatever we make!”
A familiar embarrassment settled heavily in Jimin stomach.
“Oh... I uh... I didn’t hear that.”
“I’m sure it was just a mistake that they didn’t call for you,” Hoseok rushed to reassure him. “You could come with us. I don’t think the elder would mind.”
The older boy’s gaze was filled with discomfort... and pity.
Jimin cleared his throat and forced up a sunny smile.
“No that’s fine - I have work to do anyways so...”
Jungkook nodded quickly, desperate to escape the unexpectedly awkward conversation.
“Have fun!” he shouted, already beginning to jog away.
Jimin watched quietly as their figures grew smaller, waiting till their clumsy steps no longer disturbed the stillness around him.
He should be used to it by now...
The passive rejection.
It shouldn’t bother him anymore. There was no malicious intent... just casual dismissal again and again and again-
An angry roar tore past his lips as he brought his hand down on the board.
It cracked in half.
———◐———
Eight Years Ago...
———◐———
“It’s strange but - I feel like the better I become at this, the stronger my wolf is.”
“That isn’t strange at all. You and your wolf are two halves of a whole. The more you balance your energy, the more your strengths can be shared. Now - stop stalling and get to it.”
Jimin eyed Taemin’s latest idea with a reluctant groan.
“None of the other students have to break cinder block.”
“None of the other students are wolves. Besides, it’s been 6 years, you’ve broken stacks of boards. It’s time for a real challenge.”
“I’m lucky I haven’t broken a bone,” Jimin mumbled irritably.
He did that day, but it was healed in a week and he broke his first cinderblock a month later.
———◐———
Five Years Ago...
———◐———
“Remember, timing is everything. Never let your opponent see what you’re going to do.”
“How many times do you think I’ve heard that over the last ten years?”
“Not enough, clearly. You’re still telegraphing with that right foot.”
Jimin’s left hand shot out and connected with Taemin’s jaw.
“Am I?”
Taemin blinked up at him from the floor.
“Ok. I admit. That was pretty impressive.”
———◐———
Three Years Ago...
———◐———
“Oh! I’m so sorry, I was looking for Jin.”
Jimin scrambled to his feet, dumping the pile of pebbles he collected (for his mother’s garden) noisily to the ground.
“Luna...”
He took a discreet step backward as your gaze scanned the area in frustration.
“You haven’t seen my cousin, have you?”
Jimin gulped.
He had seen Kim Seokjin - leading a curvy beta girl (nose first no doubt) in the direction of the old wading pool. It took every bit of self-restraint he possessed not to laugh out loud each time Jin bashfully declared that he was a ‘good boy’ and to ‘be gentle with him,’ - after all, he’d given the same speech to two other she-wolves last week.
Best not to scar her for life. Some things cannot be unseen.
His mind darted briefly to the scene he’d walked into at Taehyung’s house yesterday.
“I have no idea where Seokjin is, Luna.”
You sighed, gnawing absently at your lip while you considered his words, and Jimin felt a familiar hint of futile longing whisper through him.
He’d never been so close to you, and now that he was, his wolf was making all sorts of insane suggestions to keep you near.
Do a backflip. Climb a tree. Build her a house.
Jimin bent quickly to gather his scattered stones, ashamed at the direction of his thoughts.
You were so incredibly beautiful...
It was almost enough to make him forget that he would only ever be Park Jimin.
He couldn’t blame the others for fighting and fawning over your attention like they did. You were the moon and every man around you was drawn in like the tide.
“Today is my seventeenth birthday, you know.”
Jimin looked up to discover that you had moved much closer and were now looking down at him expectantly.
He blinked. Twice.
“I - yes. I did know.”
The entire pack was celebrating. He’d have to be comatose not to know.
“Should I save you a dance, Park Jimin?”
Up until that exact second, Jimin would have bet his life savings that you did not know his name.
Yet here you were - so very close to him - gazing down into his eyes almost shyly.
He nodded because he couldn’t think of a single reason not to give you anything you wanted. And when you smiled so brilliantly -  he almost believed that you truly wanted to dance with him...
Almost.
He never went to your party.
He never danced with you.
Not that day. Not ever.
Because deep down he suspected that if he held you in his arms - even once - he would never truly let go.
He was sure you wouldn’t notice his absence...  You wouldn’t remember talking to him by the time the evening rolled around.
He never saw you search the crowds for his face right up until the midnight bell.
He never saw you turn down dance after dance hoping that the beautiful boy from the forest would finally come and take your hand.
He was your only wish that birthday.
But he never knew.
———◐———
One Year Ago...
———◐———
“I’ve never seen anything like your skill. You’ve long since surpassed me. I’m not sure what more I can teach you,” Taemin smiled, bumping Jimin on the shoulder, “Perhaps you should find a woman and spend a little less time practicing.”
An unwelcome flash of silver eyes and a laugh like sunshine danced through his mind.
“No. I’m... not really the type wolf girls go for.”
Taemin snorted.
“I don’t believe that. Aren’t you an alpha?”
“Yes, but it’s... complicated.”
“Isn’t everything?”
Jimin laughed.
“Yes, I suppose it is.”
Silence settled comfortably between them as they nursed several bottles of soju on his grandmother’s porch. Taemin had charmed the old hellion quite thoroughly and he would often drop by for a visit even when Jimin was back home with his pack.
“So what will you do now?” he asked. “You can’t compete. I can barely withstand sparring with you, and you’d kill a human - even if you landed a blow at half strength.”
Jimin ran his fingers absently through his hair while he pondered his mentor’s words.
“I learned to fight because I was searching for something that would help me sort out who I was.” He scoffed. “I don’t know that I’m any closer to that goal.”
Taemin shook his head.
“No. I think you’ve got it all wrong, Park Jimin. No one achieves what you have without knowing who they are. You’ve always been a fighter and some part of you realizes that.” He sighed heavily and finished off the rest of his drink. “Now I think you’re just... waiting.”
“For what?” Jimin chuckled playfully.
Taemin pulled out another bottle and met his gaze with a knowing grin.
“Something worth fighting for.”
———◐———
Now...
———◐———
Jimin remained unnaturally still, watching his rival barrel towards him with almost calculated intent.
Namjoon’s arm drew back to land the first strike and-
It was fast.
So fast it almost seemed like magic.
One moment the Kim alpha was the barest breath away from a swift and decisive victory-
Then he was crashing backwards onto the dirt.
Those who watched carefully saw Park Jimin spin into a vicious kick, one that connected solidly with the middle of his opponent’s chest.
Stunned silence pressed in from every side as Namjoon scrambled back to his feet, his expression wavering wildly between excruciating pain and monumental shock.
Jimin smiled, letting his razor sharp canines lengthen menacingly as he flowed back into a perfect combat stance.
“You didn’t think I’d just let you have her, did you?”

sweet love
They say drunk words are your sober thoughts. Joon Hwi clearly had too many thoughts.
prompted by an anon from this question here! thanks anon!!
notes: hello! back with another fic, this time when joonhwi gets too drunk and spills more than he expects. stay till the end though, i added a little bonus as usual. editing, grammar and other mistakes will be taken responsible by me! thank you all for your love and support as always! i’ll see you for more next time!
original prompt: I love your fic 🥰 this is so far from canon but a drunk joonhwi being clingy towards sol a is one of my dream scenarios 😚 or the squad catching solhwi being clingy with each other because they were hiding their relationship
words: 3414 words
Joon Hwi was beyond excited everyday when he woke up for school. No, he wasn't excited to get the top grade, neither was he excited to get his essays and reports done. Though he loves the law, he’s sane enough to not love it that much.
Of course, he’s just excited about meeting his girlfriend, Kang Sol.
He never knew how they got together. It was a natural thing, after all. After the whole fiasco with Assemblyman Ko, their relationship suddenly felt a lot closer. They were close to begin with, with their daily studying and lunches and dinners. But something was different after the middle of their second year.
It started out as dinners every night, with or without the study group. Then Sol would be in study group sessions wearing his sweater or hoodies. When Yeseul or Yebeom teased, Sol would always argue to say that it was cold in their copy room and Joon Hwi was just being nice. Joon Hwi would just pretend that ‘sharing sweaters were normal’.
Then one day, as Joon Hwi sent Sol back home to take care of Byeol, they sat side by side in silence. Sol was desperately in need of catching up on her sleep, so the forty minute bus ride served as a quick nap for her. She turned her head to lean on Joon Hwi’s shoulder, resting her head there for her nap. To make things more comfortable, he placed his arm around her shoulders, pulling her closer.
When they were nearing their stop, Joon Hwi instinctively shook a sleepy Sol up and held her hand as he dragged her out so she wouldn’t miss the stop. Sol doesn’t let go, and neither does Joon Hwi. Only when they reach the start of the alley do they let go of their hands. (Sol insists it’s because she doesn’t want Byeol to know. Joon Hwi thinks it’s because she’s shy.)
When Joon Hwi is at her front door with Sol, they shyly look at each other, the feelings mutual and conveyed with just their eyes. Of course, they are soulmates. They don't need the words to deliver their entire hearts or feelings.
It was always made known from the start to Joon Hwi that Sol was special to him. He has never met someone so persistent, so passionate and so damm beautiful. He had a couple of flings, being the popular smart boy in school, but none of the girls made his heart beat the same way Sol did. None of them made his world stop.
It has been a year since. And things weren’t easy when you tried to hide it. Sol, a student on a scholarship, had better luck being chosen to attend this school than the number of times the couple almost got caught.
In school, they acted normally as classmates and friends. Their study group sensed something different, but they would just deny and pretend. They put on a pretty good act, if they were to say so themselves, having Bokgi convinced that they needed to find Sol a blind date. (Joon Hwi would have spat his water at him like how Professor Yang did at Prosecutor Jin, but he held it in. Five months of hiding couldn’t be wasted now.)
They wanted to tell their friends, they really did. But they wanted to do it after their bar exams. After the weight of the bar has been lifted off will they share their good news. But while hiding a relationship is hard, making time for one was harder. (Arguably, Joon Hwi finds this harder than any exam he took.)
They absolutely found every minute they could to be together. Every hidden staircase was a spot they tried to spend a few minutes to themselves, but even that was difficult. Joon Hwi would remember how Sol would lead him to a hidden staircase far from their hideout, so as to not get walked in by either the professors or their friends. Even in the midst of Joon Hwi pressing Sol against the wall, as they devoured each other’s lips after a whole day of being unable to kiss, they would be interrupted by the sudden doors of the staircase upstairs opening, causing them to fly apart and run out.
The gossip the school carried was insane, and the last thing they wanted was gossip to reach their friends.
They could spend longer moments in the study room in the middle of the nights where they would be alone, as they worked on their cases and work. Occasionally, they shared bunggeoppangs and hotteoks, where they had long kisses tasting of sweet red bean and honey. But too many times Sol found herself shifting from her seat next to Joon Hwi to climbing on top of his lap in a make-out session, as Joon Hwi reached up to remove the highlighter holding her hair. Just as they wanted more, a sudden noise would bring them to attention and frantically, Sol would fall back onto her chair, both of their faces flushed red.
It was just four more months till the graduation ceremony came.
Till the world knows Sol was Joon Hwi’s.
-----
The bar exam went smoothly, as everyone received their results of passing. As a celebration, the boys decided to drink and have a meal apart from their usual delivery. No, it was time for the real deal of barbecues, meat and stews. They decided to even give a call to Seungjae, who graciously accepted their offer despite being so busy with his new son in his life. The study group has met his kid a couple of times, and even babysat a few hours together.
The boys met at a relatively near barbecue place in the heart of Dongdaemun, a location that the boys could easily return back to the dorms and not too far away. They were at an all-you-could-eat place, suitable for their budget so that they didn’t burn a hole in their pockets. Seungjae offered to treat his dongsaengs. After all, passing the bar was no easy feat. But they declined. His presence with them was enough of a gift from him to them.
But what was a dinner without the star, soju?
Joon Hwi prided himself on holding his liquor well. He could easily have a bottle without feeling the buzz. He could have a second without difficulty as well. Surely, he won’t be drunk, right?
Oh, but how wrong he was.
The bottles of soju and beers kept coming, never ending, as BokGi and Yebeom pushed shot after shot to him and themselves. They were surely prepared to get hammered tomorrow and show up to their 10am lecture spinning. Seungjae, having driven, only watched and smiled as he looked at his dongsaengs drink, sipping on his cola.
“Hyung, you sure you don’t have anything on with Sol-A noona? You know, we catch you with her all the time.” Bokgi asks, his face slightly flushed and words a little slurred. Yebeom nods his head, nodding his head in agreement. Joon Hwi only lets himself smile, not saying anything as he shoots back an additional shot of soju.
“Wah, hyung! So you admit it?” Yebeom says, setting down his chopsticks. Jiho stops chewing on his ssam, and looks next to him at Joon Hwi, who just shrugs, a mysterious smile on his face. Seungjae only places more meat on Joon Hwi’s plate.
With a short glance, Yebeom, Jiho and Bokgi’s eyes met. It was long enough for them to get what they were trying to say, but yet short enough for Joon Hwi to not notice the silence.
They weren’t blind to Joon Hwi’s actions. They noticed how Joon Hwi would look at Sol when she’s practicing for a mock trial, and his gentle voice when he would point out things she missed. Jiho, for one, noticed how Joon Hwi would return to the dorm later or look at his phone, smiling like an idiot. When asked, Joon Hwi would either use the excuse that he went out to the city or he was looking at cat videos, which bore Jiho.
But tonight, they were not leaving this place until he spilled his secret.
“Excuse me! Can we get three more portions of samgyeopsal, one more moksal, one dwangjang jjigae, and three more bottles of soju please?” Bokgi politely shouted to the store helper, who readily nodded.
“One more rice, please!” Yebeom added.
And so, with every portion of food, they shot back shot after shot as they feasted on their fresh juicy grilled pork and stew. They were glad that Joon Hwi was slowly slurring his words, because they themselves were barely hanging on.
“Hyung, you can be honest, you know. We won’t say anything about your private life with noona.” Yebeom says, fighting off the buzz and taking a big gulp of water. Joon Hwi, now face flushed bright red, only let out another smile as he laid back on his chair.
“Ah, Sol...” He murmured out loud.
“You know, she’s really touchy when she’s drunk? She likes to cling on to people when she’s drunk. When she’s angry, she pushes people away instead.” The words come tumbling out of his mouth before he can stop himself. No, this wasn’t Joon Hwi. This was drunk Joon Hwi. The other three immediately perked up hearing this.
“A-Ah, really? How do you know that?” Yebeom prompted, determined to draw out more information.
“Remember the time we were late to Dean Oh’s lecture? We drank that night with Yeseul and Bokgi. She couldn’t stop clinging onto my hoodie after both of them went back. And the other time when she pushed me away after her first year results were out.” Joon Hwi says, the stupid smile still on his face.
“How cute.” He quietly says, eyes closed.
There wasn't a need to know further that their hyung, Han Joon Hwi, had feelings for Kang Sol, the feisty noona.
“Hyung, then why not date her?” Bokgi says, the news keeping him at the end of his seat. Jiho merely sits, ears wide open and ready for any information.
“Date?” Joon Hwi says and lets out a light unmistakable giggle. Oh, he really was drunk now.
“We already are.”
The trio exchange knowing eyes, knowing how their objectives for the night have been accomplished. Seungjae, from the end of the table, merely shakes his head with a smile.
“Hyung, did you know?” Jiho asks. Seungjae nodded.
“They told me. After all, I am no longer a student.” This earned groans from the trio, calling it unfair.
“I miss Sol...” Joon Hwi murmurs, as his drunken state reaches for another shot of soju. Instinctively, Jiho reaches it first and shoves a glass of water in his hand instead. If anything, he was sleeping with this man in the same room. And he was not having his drunken state continue further. After all, they completed their mission for the night.
All that mattered was remembering it the next day.
-----
Sol was in the midst of folding her clothes before her phone rang, distracting her from her music that she had on with her ear pieces. Irritated, she picked up her phone, not bothering to look at the caller ID.
“Hello?”
“Sol-A? It’s oppa.”
“Seungjae-oppa? Why are you calling so late? Is anything the matter?” She asks, alerted by the sudden call. It was almost midnight, and it was rare for Seungjae to call.
“Ah, no. Nothing is wrong. I’m just at the lobby of the school at the Lady Justice statue with a very drunk Joon Hwi and the rest of the boys. I can’t bring them up myself, especially since I can’t enter the dorms anymore.” Seungjae explains. In the back, Sol can hear a noisy Bokgi and Jiho telling him to shut up.
“Give me five minutes.” She says and hangs up. The urgency in Sol’s voice drew the attention of Sol B, who was ready to get to bed. Sol B only looks at Sol for a moment and Sol just gives a sympathetic smile.
“Could... Could you come with me?” Sol asks nervously. Sol B looks at Sol for a moment before she throws a hoodie on and throws another hoodie to Sol. The last thing they needed was them to be recognised. Seungjae was where he said he would be, with indeed, four grown men, sprawled on the couches. Bokgi, Yebeom and Jiho were at least conscious enough to greet both Sols, but Joon Hwi just had his eyes shut, murmuring incorrigible things.
“Sorry you had to deal with them, oppa. They really owe you a big apology.” Sol apologises for the sake of her boyfriend, and his friends. Seungjae only shakes his head.
“They should enjoy this before they step into the workforce and can’t experience it anymore.” He gives a smile. “Joon Hwi got a little carried away. He might have spilled your relationship.” Sol B was not standing far as she forced Bokgi and the rest upright, but she could clearly hear it.
“I’ll settle it. You should go home now, don’t keep Juyoung-unnie waiting. I’ll get them to their rooms.” She said before making her quick goodbye to Seungjae.
Together, both Sols pushed Bokgi and Yebeom up to their room, half guiding and half carrying the heavy boys to their door. When they were back downstairs, Sol B instinctively grabbed Jiho by his arm and pulled him up.
“Sol B, about what-” Sol was cut off by her roommate.
“I know. Don’t tell anyone yet. But, you know you suck at hiding and lying, don't you?” She says, her head turned back, before turning back to help Jiho back to his room. Sol does all she can to suppress her smile. Even though her roommate is harsh, she could feel the love. Turning around, she faces her drunk boyfriend.
“Joon. Joon Hwi.” Sol shakes gently. Joon Hwi’s lips curl up slightly, as his arms reach up to wrap them around the familiar body he missed. Sol was clingy when she was drunk, but it was the pot calling the kettle black for Joon Hwi. If possible, he was even clingier.
“You need to go up to your room.” She says as she fights away his loose grip and half supports his drunk body to his room.
“I missed you, Sol...” He murmurs, a face turning into a pout. “You know I kept telling them how good a girlfriend you are? How you always got me coffees and made extra ramyeons.”
“And you also told them we are dating?”
“Of course! I want the whole world to know I love you!” Joon Hwi says a little loudly, and she clamps his mouth shut. Oh, he was definitely more than drunk. Joon Hwi’s arms clung onto her waist as she reached his door.
“Go. You can face the mess you made in the morning.” She says. Joon Hwi clings onto her, giving her a sad pout.
“No more goodnight kisses?” He asked, a voice like a child. His eyes were big and round, his mouth downturned slightly like a pout.
Sol couldn’t deny him one, especially when he looked so adorable. Looking around, she made sure the coast was clear before she reached up to let her lips meet his soft ones. He tasted like lingering alcohol and she could taste it, but she couldn’t help but want more of his intoxicating lips on hers. But not today.
Pulling away, he let out a slight whine. But Sol gave him a quick peck.
“You’ll get more, when you get up.” And Sol pushes him into the room, leaving back to her own dorm, knowing that she’ll be faced with a big headache the next morning.
-----
When Joon Hwi is up the next morning, he’s greeted with a Jiho who rubs his eyes and holds his head in his hand. Joon Hwi isn’t sure if he’s spinning or the room is. Or if it is spinning in the first place. Jiho notices he’s up and grunts a good morning, before getting up to get ready.
The memories of last night come back to Joon Hwi in waves as the pieces start slowly fixing themselves together throughout the morning. By the time he’s at his first lecture, his memories have more or less come back.
He’s certain that Sol would be mad. He makes a mental note to send Seungjae an apology and thank you message. Then, he starts making plans to bribe the trio. He knows about Yebeom’s love for candy, so he starts with that. He just needs to think of what brand of sneakers to get for Bokgi. Heck, would bribes even work against them?
But throughout the morning, the boys do nothing to mention anything about last night. They chat about their hangover, how Seungjae is doing well with his new job and the amount of food they ate. No one mentions anything about Joon Hwi, or his words.
Joon Hwi counts himself safe. They must have forgotten, he thinks. He figures it was the best they did. It definitely would save him an earful from Sol and a large headache. During lunch, as they finished their simple meal at the cafeteria of soup, rice and bulgogi, Bokgi is about to clear his tray before he turns to Joon Hwi.
“Oh, hyung.”
“Hm?”
“We remember everything. From the start, to the end.” He says, a teasing grin on his face as he quickly scurries away, not wanting to die before he graduates. Joon Hwi rolls his eyes back and groans.
Well, shit.
-----
bonus:
“Sol B, did you know our roommates are dating?” Jiho asks, his voice slightly slurred as Sol B drags him up the stairs. She gives a nod. Sol B was no idiot to fall for her roommate’s excuses, when her face gave it all away. It was fascinating how the others haven’t noticed.
“It would be an insult to our careers if we didn't notice the way they looked at their phones.” She sarcastically says. Jiho manages to scoff. Sol B is about to tap Jiho’s key card of their door, but his hand stops hers, as she feels his body right behind his.
“Well, they haven’t found out about us yet.” Jiho says softly to her, his face nuzzled into her neck, lips brushing her neck as he slowly moves his lips up to her jaw. Sol brings a gentle hand to his cheek, before turning around to face Jiho.
“We’re better actors.” She whispers so soft. Jiho can't tell if it’s the alcohol or him, but all he knows is that Sol B looks so damm perfect with her doe-like eyes, soft pink lips and the way she teases him drives him insane. He wants her, and he wants her now.
He crashes his lips on hers, wanting to so desperately taste her. It’s been a long day, and he’s never felt so in need. Sol B tastes the lingering alcohol on his lips, but she couldn’t care. She needs him the same way he wants her. Her hands reach up to grab his hair as Jiho’s hands slip under her hoodie, feeling the smooth skin of her waist against his fingers. They know that they are in the middle of the hallway, but, god, it felt so good.
“God, I missed this.” Jiho mumbled, almost growling, against her lips, earning a slight smirk from the younger girl that he could feel. He sucks on her lower lip, earning a soft gasp from the girl as she only kisses him harder. Biting lovingly on her swollen lips, he shifts his attention to her jaw, leaving butterfly kisses and earning a sigh of pleasure from her.
But it was short lived, as she pulled away. They knew they had to stop, before their secret was revealed, too. Jiho wishes he could bring her into the dorm and continue this session with her. Sol B looks at him lovingly, biting her lip in an attempt to tease.
“We’ll continue this tomorrow.” Sol B says, giving him another loving kiss as she leaves for her room and Jiho returns to his, buzzed from the alcohol and the adrenaline rush from his make out session. He inwardly groans, hating how his girlfriend teases him, but also smirks, knowing how to get back at her the next day.
Let’s hope he remembers this.

Your Presence Still Lingers Here
AO3
Summary: Mizuki finally becomes an agent at ABIS. Somebody isn't here to celebrate.
A/N: Someday I'll actually come up with a decent title, that day is not today. Anyways I will never be over AINI not giving us enough moments for people to actually care about Date. I beg you AINI care about my boy.
“Alright Mizuki, you can come on out.” The Psync machine’s visor was removed, allowing Mizuki and Aiba back into the real world. It was her first Psync, a test on Pewter (which was maybe something of a mistake, she did not need to see even silhouettes of Daddy and Pewter together) to make sure both she and Aiba would be compatible not just in day to day life, but with ABIS too. She looked up at Boss, who had made the announcement, and gave her a wave. “Come up to the office, we’ll give you a debrief while the sleepyhead over there wakes up.”
Mizuki nodded, running up the stairs and into the briefing room, where she smiled at Boss. “How’d I do? Am I ready to go into the heads of some real baddies now.”
Boss smiled and nodded. “I think so. Aiba?”
“Your performance in the Somnium was admirable. Finished well within the six minute deadline with no desire to continue to push that limit. The information was received and Mizuki quickly exited.” Aiba’s assessment of Mizuki’s performance, though positive, felt off. There were certain notes of fondness and dismay in it. Aiba was assessing her based on the Psyncing capabilities of somebody she missed…they both missed.
Still, neither of them could focus on that right now. She relayed the information to Boss, who clapped her hands together. “That settles it then. Starting today, Special Agent Mizuki Date: You are officially an agent for ABIS.”
Mizuki smirked. Being the youngest member of ABIS was definitely a moment of pride, but there had been more to it than that.
Placing Aiba in her temporarily had been the obvious decision since she’d lost her eye in the explosion six years ago, but it was always to be temporary. Aiba was property of ABIS, not him, and so when the need arose if she couldn’t become a member of ABIS, her AI-Ball and companion would’ve needed to be placed with a new agent.
She wasn’t going to let them take Aiba. With him gone, she was all she had left of him.
Still, Mizuki brushed those feelings of grief to the side. Six years was a long time to miss somebody, and there were other things to celebrate today. “I’ll be sure not to let you down, Boss.”
“We’ll see when we get our first real Psync. Just because you handled the test Somnium well doesn’t mean you’ll handle the real thing.” That was sobering. Boss put a hand on Mizuki’s shoulder and smiled at her. “Still, you did do great. Both Aiba and I agreed. Take the night off, go celebrate with friends or go find a boy to spend it with. There will be plenty of cases for tomorrow that you can take to finally help take the pressure off Ryuki.”
“I may spend it celebrating, but I’m not spending it with a boy.” Mizuki crossed her arms, causing Boss to laugh. “Not unless Ota counts as one.”
“Ota does not count as a boy in the way that Boss is implying.”
“You haven’t changed one bit, have you,” Boss said after her laughter stopped. “Date would be proud.”
Boss had meant it as praise, but at the mention of his name, it felt as though ice had begun to run through Mizuki’s veins.
“I’ll see you at work tomorrow.” Boss waved, not noticing Mizuki’s dampened mood, and returned to the Psync room floor, likely to inform Pewter of the good news of their new agent, leaving Mizuki alone in the office.
“Come on Aiba, let’s go.” Mizuki started to walk out.
“Alright,” Aiba said, though Mizuki hadn’t needed to wait for her approval on their leave either. It wasn’t like Aiba could stop her from walking out the door of ABIS.
They were quiet most of the journey back to the Date residence. Earlier, Mizuki had planned on heading to Matsushita Diner and celebrating with Ota, Mame, Iris, and Kizzy, but with the reminder of her loss, she didn’t really have any plans of hanging out with them, even to celebrate. She would just end up bringing down the mood.
Once she arrived in the door, she sat down on the couch. On the racks, his clothes still sat next to hers, and she could still see the drool stain on the cushion from when he’d decided that she should have the bed and spent the next four years sleeping on the couch.
She thought of how excited he’d been when he’d mentioned moving in with Iris and her mom, how he’d get to have a real bed and Mizuki would be able to share a room with her best friend and how their little family would finally live under the same roof.
It had only been a few weeks before the explosion. Both Teacher and the old man had wanted to take it slow. Now he was gone for six years and they’d never have that chance.
“Mizuki. I notice your mood has dropped considerably since we left ABIS. Are you alright?” Aiba asked.
Mizuki grabbed her Adorabbit, holding it in her arms. “I’m fine.”
“That is a lie.”
“It’s nothing Aiba.” Except it was everything. She was becoming a full fledged member of ABIS and he, who should’ve been there with her congratulating her as she received her AI-Ball with her license to Psync, wasn’t there. He could never be there.
“It’s because Boss mentioned Date, isn’t it?” There was a sadness coloring Aiba’s tone as she talked about him. There always was. “You miss him.”
“I don’t miss him.” Mizuki hugged Adorabbit tighter, burying her face in his head while she lied. “That idiot. Mom and Daddy died and then just a few months later…how could I miss somebody so stupidly inconsiderate.” She wouldn’t cry. She had done so well in not crying over what happened to him because he couldn’t be dead. She couldn’t accept that her other dad was gone too, even now.
“So do I.” Mizuki looked up and saw Aiba’s holographic form next to her. Though Aiba couldn’t really touch her, her hand was pressed to Mizuki’s back, pantomiming a reassuring half hug. “Date was my partner for five years, and one of my closest friends.”
“I know.” She’d lived with the AI-Ball the whole time and hadn’t even known it. She would’ve never known it were it not for that creep Saito and his attempt to ruin his life. “If this is you trying to make me feel better, it’s not going to work.”
“I just want you to know it’s okay to miss Date too.” Aiba looked out the window. Mizuki had known that she’d missed him, but watching Aiba’s distant gaze had her curious. “He could be a big idiot, a sex crazed, porn addicted maniac, but he cared about us. For every dumb thing he did he always wanted to do what he could to protect us.”
Mizuki didn’t answer right away, sensing Aiba’s own grief. It was difficult to find the words when both of them were grieving the same man who had had such a large influence on their lives.
“The last thing I said to him was when I teased him about being with Ryuki,” Mizuki finally said. “He might’ve died in that explosion and the last thing I said to him wasn’t ‘I love you’ or ‘Hey, stay safe, this could be dangerous.’ It was me making fun of him for having a good relationship with a friend.”
And maybe that was the core of her regret. She hadn’t been able to ensure that he knew she cared.
“As you know, the Wadjet system was offline for maintenance those few days. I hadn’t been able to save any backups to the cloud for most of that time,” Aiba said. “My last memories of Date were me yelling at him for using me to watch porn, and then running off.”
Mizuki had known that Aiba didn’t have any backups from the time she had been away from him, but hearing that stung more than she could’ve ever expected. Through the neurolink, she could feel Aiba’s grief. She wasn’t the only one who the last thing she would’ve said to him was something he regretted. “Aiba…”
“When I died in the chemical plant, Date made sure that the last thing I heard was how much I mattered to him, and I can’t even verify if I did the same.” Aiba lifted her projected hand off of Mizuki, putting both her hands on her lap. “But neither of us could’ve known that would be the last time we’d see him again.”
“I know. Do you think he knew, when he…?”
“I’m sure he did,” Aiba said.
Mizuki nodded, putting her head back on Adorabbit as she hugged the plush toy a little tighter, but with her heart a little lighter. “Thank you, Aiba.”
Aiba smiled at Mizuki before her holographic image vanished. “Would you like me to call Iris? See if she’d be willing to get a celebration ready?”
“I probably should at least let all of my friends know, and it would be a good idea to help me get my mind off things for now. This is supposed to be a good night, after all.”
The reminder that not everybody important to her would be able to celebrate with them still stung, but one day, she’d find the answers, she’d get the creep who caused them both this pain behind bars as a Psyncer.
And then maybe on that day, thinking about Date would get a little bit easier.
