Once in a while it is necessary to reconnect with yourself and the spaces that gives you peace and energy.

This series is about the moment you realize that the energy, feeling, obsession that is in you right now is possible to transform, utilize, or move away from. When you remember to let negative thoughts drift away like a cloud on the sky, it is also possible to do something active. If someone has kicked you, well use it as a boost, if the week feels like one long monday, search for the places that nourish you, places that has your echo attached to it.

I found myself constantly hoping for better times. It was like I was under a spell or maybe trying to swim but kept drowning, I was restless.

Then I suddenly remembered the dharma teachings about life as a continuum with ups and downs, and the moment I once again accepted the fact that happiness is fleeting and can't be fixated, the silver lining started to appear.

This series shows humans, some are just a skeleton, searching for that feeling of acceptance and healing, while the sun sets and the wild nature has almost disappeared due to our habits and needs. What do you need to be happy and whole, and are you also waiting for that beautiful silver lining that arises when the sunlight finally breaks through the dark rainy clouds?

Something is cooking, new color palette and tryouts in the studio.

The paintings seem to paint themselves these days, had a plan, something happened, now the fluorescent red and iridescent gold are back, and new plants knocking on the door.

Dear friends🫀

So nice to be able to share with you the first work in a new series I am working on; I call it corpus / domo I.

One thing we all have in common is the starting point. We have all been given a holster, a body, we meet the ideals of the world, but in reality it's just about where in life you are comfortable and satisfied. As you can see, this first painting is a hybrid of a neck / shoulder with plants, because even though the starting point is the common denominator, the end station is also part of our common history. That is why nature is often present in my works, this is where I myself find peace but also where we all end up, if we are not reincarnated😉Being queer and Buddhist has definitely an effect on my views on life, and I feel happy and blessed living in a place where I can be myself.

Hi every one👋

Here is a look into the process behind the work on my new artwork; Another nature XXIX. The new method takes more time, and therefore I take photos regularly, so I can constantly see where I am in the process and think about what needs to happen. As you can see, the sketch is of the figure itself. The background I create by studying light and nature, and then I paint it up on the canvas without sketch but only from the feeling. The sketch of the figure is also only for inspiration, as I try to keep it as vivid and expressive as possible.
