@henriettehellstern Once when I was in Venezuela, I walked between a cave in a mountainside and a waterfall. The waterfall was massive and at one point, the cave where I stood and waterfall melted together; everything turned black and I lost all my air in the lungs. These powerful forces that are so airy and breathtaking at a distance, are also insidious. I’ve never seen such beautiful waterfalls since. 
The series of paintings, Another nature, pays homage to the wild untamed but also harmonious nature, which points back to us and our lack of understanding of the harmony of diversity among our own species.
