This weekend, we're "celebrating" Thanksgiving. They're calling "Thanksgrieving" because it's really appropriate, even when there are no horror movies.

This one was teens, and Patrick Dempsey. A lot of questionable decisions were made by all. A lot of anti-capitalism, anti-consumption themes.

It was a little different though - the killer was more efficient and practical throughout the first half. He got a little messy during/after the parade, and I'm taking away points for the obvious puns.

Weird to see Bruce Campbell in a non-actiony role. I almost didn't recognize him, until I turned away for a moment and heard the voice.

I worked at Toys R Us back in the 90s, worked many black Fridays. I know they are exaggerating the personalities of the types of retail workers, but y'all there was no one there who was *that* het up on being employed there, especially on that particular day.

"It's a management thing. You'd never understand."

Anyway. Gross creatures (mostly with practical effects), inter-coworker squabbles, satisfying flames (for those who've worked retail on black Friday). And I'm pretty sure that was a Hyster, not a forklift, which gives it extra points.

So this was another thing. I tried not to watch. I split my attention by updating the playlist on the USB drive for my car. It did not help. Also the acting is...not.

I'd put this in the same basket as Poultrygeist. I would stop this one, but I'm not the one streaming it, and the chat is fun. Mostly.
