So, when he feels attracted to you, he would unable to speak to show his feeling. He would also feel love-struck too, overwhelmed by his own feeling.

✦.* — Therefore, Allen decided to write an entire letter full of his feeling about how much he loves you, except he worded it with lots of exclamations and some typos that you cannot comprehend it, much of your second hand embarrassment.

✦.* — You decide to meet him face-to-face in the hip-hop record store, the place where Allen usually hangs around there with Kanata. But this time, Allen was alone there, not because Kanata didn't want to go with him, but because Allen purposely went earlier to there, so he can confess to you to become his soulmate. When he tried to confess you, he would do it awkwardly with a blush on his face, much of your confusion.

✦.* — Even his confession is hilariously embarrassing, just like his own letter that he wrote and sent to you, you still accept him wholeheartedly and believe that he could be a great boyfriend to you who will shower you with love and affection.

✦.* — It's quite hard to tell how Hajun looks like when he's in love. However, a little blush on his face could tell that he has a feeling to you. Still, he feels indifferent to his feeling since he likes to hide under his mysterious persona, which makes you curious to know about him.

✦.* — When you stare at him, he will stare at you back and smiles at you gently. Still, you're not sure if the smile on his face is a gentle smile or it's just to mask his own feeling. “Hajun, it's fine if you want to talk to me, feel free to talk with me. When you asked him hesitantly about his feeling and thought that he wouldn't love you because he keeps ignoring you, he just chuckled. “No, I actually fall in love with you, but I feel indifferent to it, since I didn't receive one from when I was a little.” You feel relieved after hearing that and asked him. “So, you probably just can not express your emotion openly?” He nodded slowly.

✦.* — “That doesn't mean you didn't love me right?” You asked him again nervously. He chuckled, “Of course not, why would I do that to you?” He said that as he slowly approaches you and holds your chin gently while rubbing your lips softly with a smile on his face. Then, he stares at you and slightly goes to whispers to your ears, confessing his feeling, which make your heart can't stop beating nervously. After he did that, you nodded nervously while he shows his signature smile as usual. You feel stunned and unable to speak one word but instead, thinks about what he confess to your ears.

“I know you're just an ordinary person, but you seem special to me and my heart. So, would you like to receive my feeling, love?”

✦.* — Anne will be honest with their feelings when they feel drawn to someone like you. However, they choose to keep their feeling in their heart because they feel not ready to express it. Anne thinks love takes time to receive it and they cannot reveal it way too soon. They want to reveal their feelings if they have a right time to do it.

It’s when you enter the slums of Sector 7 when you hear that melody again. Albeit quiet and faint, you recognize it immediately; it’s the same melody you’ve heard the last couple of times you’ve been to the slums. And you remember you have also heard it up on the plate one or two times.

If you lived in another world you probably would have wondered if you were losing your mind. But in this world, hearing melodies out of the blue isn’t something unusual. In fact, it’s quite normal – it’s how soulmates are supposed to find each other. Each pair has a specific melody assigned to them, a melody only they can hear when their soulmate is near. And the soft tune that keeps playing in your head as you make your way through the slums can only mean one thing – your soulmate must be here somewhere.

You’re not sure how you feel about that, though. Of course, the thought that someone’s out there who’s meant for you and only for you is quite nice but at the same time, it’s equally terrifying. “Damnit, (Y/N), stop overthinking,” you scold yourself in a low tone, a lousy attempt to distract yourself from the familiar song playing in your head, “you’ll cross that bridge when you get to it. No need to puzzle your head about this now.”

The young woman passing you by gives you a strange look, probably because you’re talking to yourself. Most people see it as a sign of insanity, after all. (If someone asked you, music playing in your head randomly isn’t much better but since it’s linked to the whole soulmate thing, people usually don’t question it.)

“Um, excuse me,” you finally manage to say, and the woman stops in her tracks, raising her eyebrows as you approach her, “could you help me, please? I’m not from around here but I’m looking for someone. His name is, um,” you pause to look at the wadded piece of paper your friend Aerith has given you earlier, “Cloud. Any chance you know who that is?”

Without any hesitation, the woman shakes her head. “Never heard of him,” she replies, and you can’t tell if she actually doesn’t know him or if she’s just saying that to get rid of you. But it probably doesn’t matter anyways – either way, she can’t help you.

“You could ask Tifa, from 7th Heaven,” the woman adds after a few moments of uncomfortable silence (well, except for the melody that’s still playing in the back of your mind), “she knows almost everyone around here.”

“Oh. Thank you.” You hesitate for a second. “And where can I find her?”

You soon find out that 7th Heaven is a bar located in the heart of the slums of Sector 7. The building itself has seen better days, just like every other building in the area, but that doesn’t make the bar any less charming. In fact, you’re pretty sure the run-down, industrial look is what makes it charming in the first place.

A jukebox in the corner of the entrance area plays quiet music that mixes in with the melody repeating in your head. At the other end of the dimly lit room is a bar with several stools, and behind it, you can spot a young woman, dwelling on her own thoughts as she polishes a glass.

Approaching the bar, you clear your throat. “Um, sorry for intruding,” you begin, giving the woman a brief smile when she looks up. If she’s surprised to see someone here at this time of the day, she’s good at hiding it. “It’s no problem,” she says and returns your smile, “you’re here for a drink?”

You hesitate for a moment. A part of you is tempted to order something, simply because the ongoing music in your head is proof that your soulmate is somewhere around the area and you need to calm your nerves, but for the same reason, you need to stay at least somewhat level-headed.

“No,” you reply eventually. “I’m looking for someone and a lady on the streets told me to ask someone named Tifa for help. Um, do you know where I can find her?”

The woman behind the bar laughs. “Yes, indeed. I’m Tifa.” She pauses, a patient smile playing around the corners of her mouth. She’s clearly waiting for you to introduce yourself, so you tell her your name. Her smile widens. “Nice to meet you. Now, how can I help you?”

Perhaps it’s Tifa, you think to yourself while you explain the situation but then, you remember that the music in your head would have stopped by now if she were your soulmate. So, no, probably not Tifa.

“Why are you looking for him?” she asks, not quite able to hide the curiosity in her voice. “Need a mercenary?”

“Hm? No.” So, that’s what he is. “To be honest, I have no idea why I’m looking for him. My friend Aerith told me I should go to the slums of Sector 7 and talk to him. I know this sounds so weird but she insisted.”

Tifa’s face lights up. “Oh, I know Aerith! We met a while ago. Long story.”

“I think I’ve heard parts of it.”

It’s hard to focus on a conversation when your mind keeps repeating the same melody over and over again, and you begin to wonder if that’s why Aerith sent you here – because she knows that your soulmate is somewhere around here. She has an ungodly sixth sense for this kind of things, after all.

“Cloud should be back soon. You can wait for him here if you want,” Tifa suggests, snapping you out of your thoughts. In that moment, the door to the bar opens, and the music in your head grows louder and louder, almost to a point where it becomes unbearable, and when you turn around, you see a blonde man approaching you. Then, stunning blue eyes meet yours, and the music stops.

Oh.

Oh.

You try very hard not to lose your composure but you’re pretty sure you’re staring at him like he’s some kind of supernatural creature. But he looks at you the same way, so it’s probably not all that bad. (At least that’s what you try to tell yourself because the way Tifa giggles quietly and excuses herself convinces you that the whole situation is more than awkward.)

“Hi,” you say, and much to your surprise, you even manage to smile.

Cloud blinks before, all of a sudden, he blurts out, “You have a beautiful smile.”

It’s obvious that you’re not the only one taken aback by his sudden compliment because he has barely ended his sentence when he starts to blush vigorously, the rosy pink color dusting his cheeks a lovely contrast to his eyes.

Oh no, you think, he’s adorable.

Silence settles in but soon enough, you gather the courage to ask him to join you for a walk to get to know each other better. The slums might not be the most romantic place on this planet but still you feel your heart flutter when Cloud agrees.

Another theory i have is that Noe has something about Jeanne he doesn't "remember"

Let me explain,we all assumed is like a "crush" but what if is not...what if it's some kind of.....lingering feeling for something else,what if(long stretch,humor me) the archivistes had some kind of connection with the queen,like what if the shapeless one is like the original archiviste or something like that and he notices something in Jeanne the rest can't,i remember he commenting on Mikhail memories about Luna making him feel like that time with Naenia and also remember the thing in the water container reaction to noe calling her?

To be honest if this is somewhat close to correct it will explain Noe weird feelings towards Jeanne and why the Teacher got him and is very interesting to me how Jeanne has appeared so much between Vani and Domi and yet Noe,who latches on practically anyone,even the enemy has so little interaction with her,there are 3 interaction and is one with her thanking him for protecting Luka,one with her trying to choke him in Gevaudan and one of her telling him to properly look at Vanitas.

Is so suspicious to me.....almost as if the author is purposely limiting their interactions.

And he started to act weird with the mark and the blood drinking,but not with the kiss,what is making him weird about vani and jeanne blood bond? Is him wanting vanitas blood?(besides the obvious part of yeah vampires want to taste everyone and he is a glutton) is him feeling "jealous" of Jeanne or Vani?is it jealousy or is it something else and the author is jingling shiny keys in front of us?

Is he obsessing over Vani blood because romantic emotions,because gluttony or because something inside is compelling him to drink the blue moon kin blood?

Marquis Machina seems like she knew Luna,the shapeless one seems like he knew Luna.

What are the real dates of all these events,there is almost impossible to set a clear time-line.

Also what is this deal with vampire eyes?

The dhamps suddenly change to yellow

The crimson moon kin changes to red

But the blue moon kind perpetually have them blue,I could make the case for Vani and Mikhail cause they are exceptions but Luna?

And what about the shapeless one eyes,one blue one violet.

Vanitas' character analysis

Hiiii again, we are two days away from the Vanitas no carte back so it's a good moment to share this little analysis I made like... 3 weeks ago (I know, I am the worst, let me be).

This is from the start of the Catacombs arc, when Vanitas is laying in the roof waiting for a late hour:

When I read this in the manga, I understood it as if he was just watching the button, looking tired for what he is about to do (visit the chasseaurs, Moreau, etc) and going to rest.

But then the anime aired. And they added this extra frames:

The focus isn't only in the button (as happens in the manga), but in the moon and it is reflection in the button too!

The first time you see it, you don't have context, but after a second round you can understand the exhaustion in Vanitas eyes (the anime didn't make it so remarkable as the manga):

In addition, thanks to the latest arc, we learn about Vani's past with Misha and Luna and how meaningful the moon became to Vanitas:

Then Misha remember the day Luna died and this is what he remember about Vani:

When Vanitas looks to the moon it's not only him looking to a giant rock from far away, he is looking directly to a representation of Luna (his savior and the person that doomed him to carry her mark).

So, coming back to this two frames I love very much:

I think it is a very poetic visualization of Vanitas's mind in that moment. He remembering his past; how he was trained as chasseur, how he was taken as a guinea pig for Moreau and how Luna arrived to his life.

Luna represented by the moon, Moreau represented by the button and all of it fused with the light of the moon being reflected in that little metal piece to make Vanitas remember the day he met the Blue Moon:

All of this makes me wonder if that bittersweet memories make Vanitas' feel more good or bad, since all his relationship with Luna is a spectrum from absolute hate to complicated love. I wonder if he thought in that roof about Luna to find strength for what he had to do (confront Moreau again) or if he was looking for determination in his mission to destroy Luna...

Also, a little detail I point out because some people didn't see it:

Basically, a present to both from Luna. That Misha has it yet isn't weird since he adores Luna, but Vanitas... It's another hint of his love to Luna.

Also, and with this I stop I swear, look Vanitas' face after looking to the watch. Tell me what's in your mind baby, don't be shy and stop being so mysterious.
