you know what i just saw some more of that weird ass reward for getting all shrines in totk, and tbh im still so

what is that?? there are no dog like sentient species in this version of hyrule?? the most is the sonau themselves but they got no tails??? i dont think anything in this hyrule has a tail like that? and sonau legs are pretty normalish human too areant they? they dont even have proper claws, just veguely longer fingernails- i guess there are the statues in the underground that kinda look like it (they dont got tails either tho do they??) but like ,,, theres nothing you can learn about them right? its never mentioned or even hinted at despite there being so goddamm much of the sonau still just up and functioning- their lil "material deposits" in the depths arent even withered beyond some plants growing on them, all their 'tech' (isnt it just .. magic tho? where the mechanism actually? its usually just some stone animated by green swirlies ... but ill mention that in another post) just runs perfectly like it was made yesterday

and if it where some sort of descendant from the mix of kids rauru and sonai kinda .. must have had (unless they did away with zeldas bloodline stuff too .. which .. why even call it zelda anymore at this point lol) then again, where did those features come from (like the tail and red hair, the strange googly eyes? is there a mix of goron in there too??) and how was it then not documented or seen anywhere else?? youd imagine the mutant kids of the first tragically dead king and queen of this hyrule would be known in some way .. that is assuming it was that, but given the weird features no other species has still is ... it just doesnt add up

(i had the awful thoguht for a second that it might supposed to mean the gerudo came from that but .. the gerudo are already there LITERALLY the 1:1 same as in the present, just like all the other species ... which is also disappointing as hell, like seriously? not even different feather colors for the rito? literally the same clothing for the gerudo as in botw but white with golden stuff instead?? some vaguely different zora features? idk ? anything? also the hero would never be gerudo, we know only evil comes from that *explodes*)

if its supposed to be a mystery then they absolutely failed in making it any interesting or intriguing but still something that feels like its part of the world, like botw was very good at giving you mysteries you wanted to talk and theorize about that still felt organic, harmonic with the world, but in totk its all either boring answers or just ... completely out of nowhere and just kinda stumps you (in a bad way)

12. Which was the first driver you supported?

i guess the one that i vibed with instantly was george 💀 i think he was a proper lad. as for classic drivers, it was senna. i would watch the 1988, 1990 & 1991 f1 reviews because i knew he won them 😭

there aren't many drivers i don't like, im just neutral. i guess if i have to pick, it would be lando. he just seems really immature outside of the car and it annoys me a lot.

1982. i mean what a clusterfuck of a year. i think servely underrated in terms of battles between rosberg & watson. keke winning the championship despite only winning one race and also getting a disqualification in brazil ??? amazing. you can't beat it.

unfortunately i'm a lover, not a hater. there isn't one where i am leigt fuming about. but i guess 1977 french grand prix where john watson was leading for the ENTIRE FUCKING RACE and then run out of petrol to come second next to fucking MARIO ANDRETTI

bruce mclaren & chris amon. yes they did 1966 le mans together but i feel like bruce would have taken chris under his wing and idk make him win a race or something. i wish i could think of another but every single driver and lineup that has ever existed have exited the brain so. look that's the best we're gonna get.

a driver's lineup i wished stayed together longer was jenson & giancarlo. the twink power they had while at benntaon should have last forever.

First of all, thank you for the great ask!

It's a tough one. I came up with a serious answer (boring but wise), and then I though about what else I would want to ask, were all my primary needs met already (more interesting), and this is the one I'll share:

1) to finally come to know every single truth and conspiracy that went on behind the scenes of the CW show Supernatural specifically regarding the whole destiel-gate (tapes™ included)

2) to live in a world where fanfiction is considered as a valid form of literature worthy of respect just like every other literary genre (1. for its sociological and anthropological value regardless of each piece's inner quality and 2. for the inner literary quality that not all but some of those fanworks have, equal to other published works that currently get to have recognition).

3) for karma to work at 80%, so that good things happened to good people and bad things to bad people, and everyone mostly got what they deserved. (note: I didn't say 100% because if that were the case we probably wouldn't have any form of art anymore and we need it as a spices to give life meaning)

YES - if everything goes as planned I will be getting a horse 🙏 Now that's less projecty in the showmen world as I don't show equine, but in the spring I'm getting more hogs! (And I want to get a sheep but I ain't know jack Abt them things)

Gladly! Idk if you had any specific ones in mind or just all of them, so I'll do a quick rundown of my main/most developed ocs :3

(Gonna do a read more to spare everyone's dashs lol)

Stella:

probably my oldest and most developed oc

She's my take on a modern vampire, she's roughly 23-25 but she died at age 17. She had leukemia and her older brother took her to a coven of vampires to try and save her life. She woke up in an alleyway with no memory covered in blood and had to go from there. Now she works as a barista in Seattle to cover for the fact that she's undead and commiting identity fraud to get by

She's brash and broody, and likes to pretend to be a loner asshole, but really she's lonely and has a soft heart under her hard facade

Elliot:

my second most developed, deeply intertwined with Stella, can't have nice things.

He was a runnaway at 16 that Stella literally found in an alley, brought home, and gave him a couch to sleep on. I keep going back and forth on what I want to do with his story and his character, but the staple points are that he can see/talk to ghosts, and he blames himself for his Dad and sister's death, which is why he ran away from home. (Very big Nico Diangelo/Danny Phantom influences here lol)

He's a bit shy and goofy, but gets along with others easily and is well liked. He's an obsessive movie buff and self destructive people pleaser. After Stella took him in he managed to break through her tough outter shell and they became very close with a found sibling type bond

Which brings me to

Zack:

Elliot's childhood best friend and love intrest

He and Elliot have been super close since they were like 5. Classic boy next door best friend totally in love with the protagonist trope. When Elliot ran away, he didn't tell Zack, and Zack's reaction was to naturally hunt him down halfway across the country (something something hacked phone records and internet stalking). The scary new roommate (Stella) was a shock and he's pretty sure she's not human after she threatened him in a back alley the first time he met her, but that all works out eventually.

He's a tech nerd, loves puzzles/mysteries, and is a fan of obsurdist fan theories for different media. (And i do not evidently have any good reference pics for him...)

Forest and Sky:

They are twins, and they do magic. Their moms are both practiced in different magic arts and own a corner store than doubles as an underground shop for all sorts of creature clientele.

Sky is outgoing and energetic, always looking for trouble. She made a deal with a demon when she was a child to win a game, and now she has a cursed eye that can see into the future. She's very good at healing magic and various types of fortune telling, but she's very cryptic about any info she gets about the future, as it's not always set in stone and people's reactions tend to lead to unwelcome outcomes.

Forest is quite literally the quieter more reserved half. He's selectively mute, having neen born with a condition that rendered him deaf at a young age. Where Sky is jumping head first into mischief, he is usually being dragged along behind her. He is naturally gifted with blessings/curses and playing the drums. He develops a large unrequited crush on Elliot shortly after meeting him.

I have more ocs in the same universe/story, but those 5 are by far the most developed and thought out

Liz:

my Lone Wanderer from various playthroughs and years of thoughts about Fallout 3. I've been on a kick lately developing her canon and character, I love drawing/writing her with beloved fallout 3 NPC and companion Butch Deloria

She's surprisingly well mannered for a person living in the apocalypse, she has major daddy issues, she's a literal folk hero, and while she's a great shot and can hold herself in a fight, she prefers to avoid violence whenever possible.

And finally

Bean:

my Final Fantasy XIV Warrior of Light

I named her Bean as a joke when my wife convinced me to play, and then I went and got deeply attached to her, and now I unironically have so many thoughts and feelings about a cat girl named Bean. She was raised on a pirate ship after being found by the crew in a bag of beans. She wasn't allowed to leave by her overprotective captain/adoptive father, and wanting to see the world she ran away to go be the protagonist of a final fantasy game.

She's deeply loyal and cares about her loved ones to a fault. She loves food, travel, and is a jack of mamy trades (my justification for being an omnicrafter lol)

And the last one I'll info dump about for now, cuz this got very long very fast. So uh... if you made it to the end I love you for indulging me 😅

If you're played through Baldurs gate 3 already I wanted to ask you what your opinions on chapter 3 are. I've gotten there three times already but just kinda stop playing cause it bores me. Just curious if you feel the same or what you think in general.

OK!! good question!! honestly, i actually really love act 3! though, i can understand if it's not to everyone's taste. also, i remember the first time i ever got to it and went to the second half of the city... IT WAS SO BUGGY DSUIHFDIDUS.

like the lag was SOOOOO bad. i had to bring jaheira with me because apparently?? someone said that would help fix the bug?? and it worked?? but that's besides the point-

i adore orin and gortash so they add to the experience and i personally think that there's a good chunk of things to do as well. also, i really like the fights!! oh and the house of hope has to be one of my all time favorite parts of the entire game.

(granted, i say all this and i havent even done all the side quests in it yet cuz i was saving it for another playthrough LOL)

i do wish we got more companion interactions in this act though... i wish we had more companion interactions in general cuz they're the main reason i play the game </3

What is (are) your favorite book(s)?

Woo boy, I have a lot so the list may be long (in no specific order)

Satan from the Seventh Grade (original title: Szatan z siódmej klasy) by Kornel Makuszyński – this was the book that got me into reading. We had to read it at the beginning of elementary school and I loved it. Because of that I have a healthy relationship with reading required books (even if I got lazy with them later). It is a detective story, very fun. There is also a movie with the same title and it is also so great. Dunno if the book or the movie are in English tho but maybe at least the book is. I really have very fond memories with this one

Fablehaven by Brandon Mull – the bestest series there is. I have to say that Polish name for it is so much better (Baśniobór) and I was so surprised to see the original title. I read it young and it was my Harry Potter (I never read HP series). I even used this series in my mock exam from literature in high school. Fantasy, magical and so so so great. I can't recommend it enough. (Also I found out it has a continuation series??? Maybe I am 10+ years too late, but I want it)

The Devil's Apprentice by Kenneth B. Anderson – another series! As we can see, I have a thing with demons lol. It also is a series for younger teens but nonetheless I consider it so great

Eragon by Christopher Paolini – you don't understand how obsessed I was with this series. I would go on and on about how the movie is trash—too short, not interesting and in general derogatory for the name of Eragon (you can sense the passion, yet? I should add it to things I can talk about for hours). The younger me was so fascinated with the books. The language, world building, dragons and everything. I want to buy this books so I can have the physical copy with me so bad. Why are they so expensive :((

Crime and Punishment by Dostojewski Fiodor – another book that was required to read but this time in high school. I love this story, it shows psychological aspects of people very well. I also was watching the performance in the theater! It was modern reinterpretation with a lot of humor! It was so awesome I contemplated if I should buy tickets again

The Velveteen Rabbit: Or How Toys Become Real by Margery Williams – hear me out. I know it is a book for kids but it is a beautiful book for kids! It is a wholesome and touching story that is for any ages! I am sure kids, teens and adults would love it (I definitely did)

Gone by Grant Michael – with this book series you would also not understand how much I love it. One of my all time favorites. I want all of you to read it. You won't be disappointed (if you happen to be disappointed then don't say anything to me). Those books are just wow. The psychology aspect, fantasy, sci-fi! Like with Eragon I need to have these books in my private collection so much!

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff – a trilogy but unfortunately I read only the first one (it is so hard to get the second part wtf???) but it definitely is unique. Pages don't look like normal pages, we know only the things that are given to us. It is so fun to read it! The story is really immersing and is full of surprises. I really hope I will be able to get the rest of the series

The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King – it was the first book I read from him and I instantly fell in love with it. I really like King's books but if I had to choose one then this one takes the cake. Maybe sentiment speaks through me but whatever. The perspective this is written with is amazing. The take on the omniscient narrator was so interesting, we as the reader know things, but our main protagonist is so unaware

The Long Walk by Richard Bachman (Stephen King) – I remember I had so many emotions while reading it. This one is so interesting because the whole action is the same. Everyone is walking so it should be boring but it isn't! The story is engaging. You want to know who will survive

Joyland by Stephen King – can you see I like his stories? Lol. This one was really surprising in a good way. It is less horror-y and more... Melancholy? Nostalgic? Nonetheless the book is awesome

The Regulators by Richard Bachman (Stephen King) – I swear it is the last book from him! But I just had to tell you about it. Because if I have to write my fav book (from King), The Regulators are a must. I think there is also a movie? I think this book is one of the series? "Desperation" is its name I think. I liked both books and I like both. I also watched a movie (Desperation) if I remember correctly but I may just imagine things now lol

I would also say The Shawshank Redemption (a story from: Different Seasons) by Stephen King too but I just watched the movie (I still recommend!)

Definitely these two!!! I made Bri for another Simmer who didn't end up using her and of course came up with her entire backstory in the process. I really wanted to start the Globetrotter Challenge with her last year, but it never happened. I'm always too caught up in my story, and I'm bad at doing multiple things at once.

As for Jamie, he's a character who existed in my head for a long time before he existed in the Sims, and I think I just got overwhelmed by trying to get every detail exactly right. I literally spent hours in CAS (I even customized multiple tattoo swatches for various points in his life). But then when it came time to translate that into gameplay or storytelling my brain completely short-circuited. I'm glad he's been given a (surprisingly drama-filled) alternate life in @kirsicca's Take a Hike series, though! It makes the effort not feel entirely wasted.
