So, there must be a ton of people thirsting over him on the internet. Fancams, edits, fanfics and imagines ("kidnapped with Bruce Wayne 😍 by a Gotham rogue"), the whole charade!

And anytime one of the batkids stumbles on a thirst post, they have the most dramatic disgusted reaction, loudly gagging, before sending the link to the batkids chat, because if they must suffer, then they should all suffer. Clicking on a link in this groupchat is like playing russian roulette, and getting rickrolled is a good ending.

Books of 2025: BLACKFISH CITY by Sam J. Miller.

Finished this last night! The jacket copy starts, "When a strange new visitor arrives in a floating city in the Arctic--humanity's last hope after the ravage of climate change--the city is entranced. She's riding an orca and has a polar bear at her beck and call," and, honestly, I'm sold (love a good floating city!).

I adored the setting and the worldbuilding--supremely cool city that was thoughtfully developed--and I loved how the narrative came together at the end. All the POV characters felt distinct (thank heck, because there were Many of them), and I had a fun time figuring out how to piece all the relationships together and percolating on The Science. Overall had a great time!

hes pink i honestly think his whole "can walk on the earth once a year if he has a vessel" thing is SO intriguing why are we not talking about this 24/7. also the fact that in npmd he chose to present as a little pink frilly girly with a giant lollipop hes so silly

Nibbly is the youngest of the LiB and honestly isn't all that invested in being evil and causing suffering or whatever. hes just hungry and can never be full its not his fault

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

Copout answer is that Nibbly and Blinky are besties. Bigbrain answer is that I think Miss Holloway has the potential to get along with Nibbly. I mean she has a diner she could just supply him with pies and pancakes while she vents to him it would be great. Just as long as he doesn't do the whole being evil and causing suffering thing.

Personally I adore Santi's entire dynamic with the entire team. I think one of the first posts I ever did on this blog called him the "Markiplier" of the Team, the pretty man with a masochistic edge, which I think is marketing genius. If you think about it, he's the newest host coming in with the least audience familiarity/screen time (Lee and Amy are Theorist old timers and Tom has his own audience since he's a streamer). He had to make a big impression pretty quickly and coming in hot as the disaster of a man that he is was just perfection.

Tom is unfairly hard on himself regarding his improv skills because I think he does GREAT with Santi. I think he's most comfortable with verbal jokes and innuendos because he teases Santi all the damn time on insta--which is the only reason I'll recommend following any influencer there. They both appear incredibly comfortable with each other and that dynamic is what's gonna save the channels honestly. I think it sets Game Theory up to be the older highly intellectual one, and Food Theory is that frat bro who you see doing keg stands on the weekend and yet still comes in Monday morning to ace the organic chemistry test. You want to see them interact because they're such opposites. The audience yearns for the bromance.

For the record shipping doesn't bother me--but if it bothers anyone, you too can block #theoristshipping because I don't want to hear someone whine about it later (*fingerguns*).

I've been a kpop fan since middle school...I got a few! 2NE1 was my first fave and currently it's BTS.

Namjoon. The clip of him counting members on stage at an awards show, only to realize JK was missing? That was the gateway into BTS for me.

I love that he's someone that strives to be the ray of sunshine but is also extremely ambitious and won't accept laziness. I think the dedication he has to everything really shows through in all his work.

Yoongi. I love all the different facets he's shown of himself through his solo projects.

which members are you currently obsessing over that aren't your bias/bias wrecker?

It's gotta be Seokjin. He's so hilarious and comfortable with himself, it's great to see. I can't wait for him to be back! 💕

when did you first discover this group?

So I've been a kpop fan since 2NE1's debut but hadn't really focused on another group since they disbanded. I'd always casually known that BTS was around, but had never really listened to them until clips of them started popping up on my IG feed in November of 2023. I became an Army two and a half weeks before the military enlistments were announced. 😵‍💫🥲

have you ever been to one of their concerts?

Nope! I'm too new.

Nothing sadder than seeing a Reverse Robins AU where they don't include Steph as a Robin even though she'd be a far better Red Hood than Tim. It's not even fucking close. Like...are you kidding me?? Tim has no reason to die in the way Jason does nor does he have any reason to become the protector of the less-great areas of Gotham. I don't mind it as much when Tim kinda becomes his own thing (that's the appeal of those AUs for me, taking the character and having them fulfill a role they don't in canon + seeing the ripple effects on both that character and others and the story (literally the whole reason I'm doing the randomized robins) + seeing how you can still tell a story that wasn't meant to exist in the way you've made it) but when he's just straight up Red Hood-but-now-Tim...why?

Now STEPHANIE BROWN ON THE OTHER HAND! She's got all the makings of a good Red Hood. She's had the will to kill from the beginning (she was straight up gonna kill her dad, even when she didn't she still beat the shit out of him and talks pretty frequently about getting rid of the bad guys 'for good'), she's been doubted her entire existence as a vigilante, she has like SO MANY FUCKING REASONS TO HATE BRUCE IT ISN'T EVEN FUNNY, she has lived the experience of someone (her dad) getting released back into Gotham via Arkham/Blackgate's revolving door, and she's also got the fucking FIRE for it. Steph even has a built-in death that's both thematically relevant for a Red Hood and would drive Bruce to so much fucking guilt. Plus, it's more accurate! And Tim staying as the third sidekick becomes even more fucking interesting. His girlfriend, someone he loved, just died in this role because of Bruce's negligence/her own bungling. How tf does he feel about the role of a Batman sidekick now? Batman needs a Robin, but what does Robin need from Batman? And Steph coming back to see BRUCE just put TIM in the role that she literally died in? Oh she's coming back full storm.

a reason they suck -can very much fall into the 'push other people down to raise urself up' thing but also he's like. 10.
