Wow! My newly acquired doll thought she just got misgendered by the cashier!!!
She even tried to correct the poor clerk! She told the cashier right to her face that she’s a “guy”, you should’ve seen the look on that poor woman’s face as this “guy” wearing a pink dress with bunnies on it, carrying a plushy bigger then her head, in the squeakiest voice say that’s she’s a guy!

It’s not like I was getting anywhere drawing for myself to begin with. Call me Thomas the Tank Engine™️ cuz I gotta be very useful.
Though there’s probably one guy in the main cast I refuse to draw cuz he’s way too difficult for me, and I refuse to spend more than 30 minutes on a single image. But, that’s my special lil’ secret.
The closest I get to self care is that. And sleeping.

#oh thank you! I'm glad you did!#first off as a general rule I think it's always okay to message any individual independent artist/creator#and tell them that you like their work#you may think they probably get lots of positive feedback and such and another one doesn't matter#but I would bet money that the actual amount is almost always smaller than you'd think#so every kind comment has the potential to cheer them up and inspire them#and motivate them to continue creating and posting their work online for people to see#messages like that can linger at the back of your mind for ages#I regularly think back to the nice things people have said about my art over the years#especially when I'm struggling with art block and feel like what I make isn't worth anything and that I'm bad and my stuff is bad#this got a little long winded and I'm probably preaching to the choir#but what I wanted to say is don't be afraid to let creatives know if you like their work it's always appreciated#I'm flattered to hear my dog doodles motivate and inspire you!#animation and illustration are both good choices imo#I wish you all the best on whatever you end up doing#answered#starfruitwyne

#DVL and AMs relationship being a toxic feedback loop built on DVLs dependence on AM and AM seeing DVLs validation as something he needs#it's completely ripe for abuse. AM feels devalued by DVL but consistently puts him and his wants above all else and DVL takes and takes#because he needs his followers and sycophants and dreamers and sons and daughters and lovers and soldiers to make him more than what he is.#He thrived on AMs blind loyalty because it allowed him to indulge his own vain ideal of a rebellious leader championing his idea of freedom#and america and a mans own right to live his life however he pleased when he had someone else willing to die behind it.#I know it's touchy for some but the father/son aspect of their relationship regardless of it serving as another form of control reward and#punishment can't be ignored or minimised. DVL was a patriarchal figure not just to AM but the gang which impacted how they both tried to#define their relationship. It's boring to brush it away to sanitise their dynamic when taken to a romantic/sexual context. Hi, I hope I didn't bother you. I saw in itch that. The game is asexual friendly. I know that the game focuses on spicy moments. I played it on itch before switching to Steam, and I noticed some of the achievements for Amir and Mori don't unlock until you play the spicy moments first. It's no big deal. I do love to complete the game 100% But are the achievements Will it become more for the Spicy scenes to unlock?

So sex and physical intimacy is a core component of TCM meaning that there are explicit CGs and those two achievements are linked to unlocking CGs for Amir and Mori that are spicy.
Achievements will probably continue to be linked to CGs because it's kind of an intuitive milestone in a visual novel since not every chapter is going to get an achievement. So, some will continue to unlock with sex scenes and some will unlock with more romantic/intimate moments that don't involve sex (like Akello's chapter 2 achievement).
I still consider TCM to be very ace-friendly however because I've written the game so that you can decline sexual interactions with characters without suffering for it story-wise and players that decline sex will still get the same character and relationship development out of their chosen RO. The achievements don't really have any bearing on the game experience, they're just kind of a fluff feature.
I hope that makes sense and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify!

i need to finally implement the beta changes i was supposed to do on this fic like 3 weeks ago before work presentation prep ate my brain. they kept postponing the work reveals deadline, giving me an excuse to not bother, but i probably shouldnt bank on that happening again in two days even though there does still seem to be an unclaimed pinch hit even now
#i need to write like. two scenes. unfortunately i have had no capacity to do anything but make little hexagon diagrams for ages#i think literally all i have to get done today is this and some apartment cleaning. so presumably i will do it to avoid scrubbing the bath#but what if instead i scrub the bath. disaster#box opener#i have turned into some sort of jelly substance that doesn't know anything about medieval banditry. unfortunately#@my kind mutuals who betad this fic thank you and im sorry that instead of using your good feedback i have become a hydrogel

YAAY the last chapter was SO much fun! I already miss Reading it! I really liked Zuko getting to use his bending again amd his interactions with Katara :)

& yes!!! Zuko is starting to slowly figure out where a comfortable spot is for him with his bending! I also think having Kataras help is a nice change for him too, and I’m excited for him to start feeling more confident in his bending again! He’s just gotta take things slow and steady & rebuild his foundation (the basics… the ones he always struggled with so much when iroh was teaching him… just saying, new basics might not be such a bad thing for him haha)
