Hello, can u pls share five of ur favorite headcanons/story elements that reoccur in dimya fics, across aus, Canonverse, etc.? 🧐

ugh okay so there are so many on my little checklist but here are some in no particular order:

dmitry has a spicy little sexual history

this isn't exactly a story element, but there are certain lines that always kill me when they're included. "well?" "not bad"/ "what if i take it now and you'll never see me again?" "I don't think you will!" are among the most '!!!!!!!' to me lol. ugh. makes me kick my feet and cheer a little

i love seeing how the my petersburg/a secret she kept moment gets adapted into every fic, it's such a cornerstone to their entire relationship

meant to be/ blue dress moment™

touch being a really poignant vulnerability for them? i think when touch is used to represent their trust issues transforming into a sort of vessel of comfort it's....... so good. i never get tired of it

3. What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

it can't be anything other than So Much for Stardust! i'm still incredibly pleased with the tone and storybook-style narration. there was a long period of experimentation where i figured out just how i wanted to write the adult fairytale i had in my head, and i'm proud of the final piece

oh and also the set-up to a certain joke that doesn't pay off until the penultimate chapter is easily the greatest idea i had this year asdfghjk

18. The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?

luo binghe 😭 i'm not used to writing about him so i second guess literally everything i have him say or do. nightmare boy. i love him so much 😭😭😭

29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

big fan of this part from chapter 19 of i shine only with the light you gave me

“I told him that I would let him try.” Luo Binghe’s hand twitches against Zhuzhi-lang’s back. “But I’m the one who’s trying, Shizun.” “I know you are. I see you.” “Why should this be on me? Why should I be the one to reach out time and again, when all of my efforts are like water slipping off a duck’s back? I don’t…” He releases a breath. “It’s not as if I’m unwilling. I still don’t like him and I truly don’t need a father, but I thought that perhaps… Never mind. It’s foolish.” “You thought that he might put on a better show.” “If he doesn’t want me, that’s fine.” “Binghe—” “I mean it.” Luo Binghe rests his cheek on Zhuzhi-lang’s head. “It doesn’t bother me. I would just prefer it if he dropped all pretense.” There is a long stretch of silence. Then Shen Qingqiu clicks his tongue. Softly, he says, “How could anyone not want you?” If there is one thing Zhuzhi-lang has learned from the slow return of certain memories, it's that it is very easy to become an unwanted thing. He presses closer to Luo Binghe.  When he is big again, he knows that gege and Master Shen won’t want him either.

He didn't do anything wrong. Actually. (No jk my unpopular? opinion is that he could have been developed a lot more. But that's just me)

Favorite relationship:

Any of them, but Mel/Wilford bc there's so much history they're married they're acrimoniously divorced they love each other they hate each other they can't live without each other yet neither of them want to be in the same room they

Favorite headcanon:

Silly thing, but you know how SB has gone on record saying he likes milkshakes? (He said he'd bring them on the train if he had to go) I hc that Wilford likes them too. Secretly. When he won't be seen.
