We already knew that they had visited Old Saybrook from a post from a store employee last year but more details are now emerging of what they were up to in Connecticut.

JK was wearing a Salty Crab teeshirt in the Are You Sure? trailer which has been tracked to Black Hall Outfitters in Old Lyme.

And today we find out that Jimin also bought a teeshirt at the same place. Look at those two pookies! This is after they went kayaking.

Three words that aren't hard to follow.

It's really not hard to be respectful, understanding and considerate.

I wish huge parts of this fandom would practice them, even try to.

It would make the fandom a better place to be in, not to mention the world around us.

I've made a conscious decision not to get into how disrespectful, unaccepting (whatever the opposite of understanding is) and inconsiderate people in this fandom are, not only towards each other but even more so towards the members themselves. You kind of know where I would be going with that anyways, don't you?

What I will say is that I love JK.

I love the young adult he's grown up to be.

I love how intelligent he is.

I love how fame and money didn't corrupt him.

I love who he is as a person.

I love how dainty he is, how unashamed he is, how brave he is.

I feel like a proud mom seeing her kid all grown up into a beautiful beautiful human being untainted by the industry or society or all those surrounding him that all want a piece of him.

So life has a way of getting in the way sometimes right? Work, daughter moving away, health, having a life outside of SM 😱 😂 it all happens.

I am so far behind with all the Festa content, in fact the only thing I have watched is Jimin's performance.

I haven't watched either Jimin or JKs lives either 😔.

But thanks to some wonderful people blogging and DMing me on here I have been able to have a rough idea of what's going on, so thank you to @kanmom51 @dgtn @jmdbjk @sweetjikook @joyswonderland1108 and @jikook-4-ever. (Sorry if I have forgotten anyone).

I appreciate each and everyone of the people I communicate with on here, be it through DM, comments or simply a like on a post. My inbox is always open for a chat, I am happy to discuss almost anything, fun, cute, informative, opinions, hopes and fears, a little naughty (we are adults), but I refuse to waste my time on certain parts of the fandom (you know who I mean!) And it goes without saying, what's discussed in DMs stays in DMs 😀👍🤐 and can be Jikook related or life related.

Jikook still have such a special place in my heart and I support them unconditionally and with my whole heart. But right now my focus has to be on me, I will get back to posting properly when the time is right. I will continue to reblog, post short posts, like and comment and of course chat in DMs. You won't get rid of me that easily 😉

Jikook deserve all the love in the world and we will continue to give it to them, that I know. There are some tough times coming for them and I'm not quite sure I'm ready for that shit yet.

I told my family I met someone on the Internet and I’m gonna fly to Chicago by myself and land there at midnight and get from the airport to the hotel … in the middle of the night. And then the next day, I’m going to meet that person in-person at my hotel even though I’ve never seen them or heard their voice. 😳 It’ll be fine. 🤣🤣

I got myself to Chicago and it was uneventful except that I couldn’t figure out which seat was mine on the plane. Ha ha ha ha ha I accidentally sat in “first class” on the first leg of my flight on one of those small jets. This is “first class”… and y'all paid extra for that?

Then on my connecting flight we were packed like sardines on a real jet and I accidentally sat one row behind the one where I was supposed to be sitting. I’m a derp.

The hotel was great but I’ve never heard of a hotel property being shared by two different brands. Granted they’re both owned by the same corporation but still both hotels were housed within the same building. I stayed in the Staybridge Suites and the other half of the hotel was Holiday Inn. “When you get off the elevator go left for Staybridge and right for Holiday Inn.”

Anyway…The facility was brand spanking new and staff was excellent, especially the housekeeping staff, so I highly recommend.

And guess what floor I was on? Yes, 7th floor, room 717.

The hotel was less than a mile from ALLSTATE Arena. It was an easy walk. I could see it from my hotel room window.

Before we headed over to the arena, we went to a Korean BBQ place. My first experience and it was charcoal barbecue, so there was an actual little fire pit in the middle of our table. We had the usual 5 million side dishes and bulgogi. It was delicious. The Korean owners were very nice and attentive. A group of youngish Korean men came in. They had lanyards on but I couldn’t see what was on them. Could they have been Yoongi's staff?? Maybe! Or just a group of coworkers from nearby…

Truly the absolute best part of the whole trip was meeting this group of crazy people! Y'all are the best and made this whole trip one of the most awesome memories of my life! I am so thankful and I love you guys! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

We got in line close to 5 o’clock at the entrance that was stated on our tickets. There were at least four entrances, each with lines this long that wound around the parking lot and around the building.

The doors opened a few minutes before 6:30 and the line moved very very swiftly. The venue was very organized except if you were parking a car… it was a little outta control for them ha ha, ha ha ha ha.

One of the things we had hoped we would be able to do would be snag some freebies from fellow Army’s, and they did not disappoint!

We did not bother to try to get any concert merch because the lines were ridiculously long and people had been in them since early morning. Some said most items were sold out by the time they reached the booth. I would have wanted a t-shirt and I’m sure those went fast.

Merch booths were also set up inside the venue, and those lines were also long. We just went ahead and found our seats and sat down and waited for the concert to begin.

The venue was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, I think Allstate Arena capacity is about 20,000 for concerts.

Our seats were fantastic. I’m sure those who chose general admission had a great time down there but that’s not for me.

Yoongi looked amazing even though he was not feeling 100%. He still sounded very good but his voice was a little rough at first.

No one told me that the flames they used during the performance would give off so much heat! I could feel it even from where I was sitting every time they blasted!

Probably one of my favorite songs during the whole concert was Burn It...

The audience barked throughout the concert and Yoongi smiled in acknowledgement. We saw only one concert goer wearing a wedding dress, but did not see any marry me Yoongi signs.

As you can see, we had matchy-matchy tangerine hat people in front of us. But black seemed to be de rigueur with lots of fishnets on the legs, arms and body, stomper boots and purple hair. Red chopsticks in the hair, cat ears, black kimonos with gold metallic designs, leather pants and skirts and of course a lot of fan made t-shirts and concert merch t-shirts.

As far as the diversity of the crowd there were people of all ages, colors and genders. Male Army were represented well, all ages and ethnicities.

After the concert we hiked up and down Mannheim Road trying to find food, all the hotel restaurants were closed. I think we were also in a post-concert daze. We ended up right back across from the venue at a take-out pizza place called Rosati's. It was the best pizza ever because we were starving and we stood there and ate almost the whole thing straight out of the oven. STRETCHY CHEESE ROCKS!!

I don't think post-concert depression has set in yet. I am still high from the past three days. IT WENT BY SO FAST! My trip home was not as smooth as the one getting to Chicago. My first flight was delayed 2 hours. They changed my gate 5 times. Its a big airport. I got my steps in that day. I was almost late for my connecting flight in Dallas. I had to run to that gate, they were paging me for the last time. They slammed the plane door as soon as I got inside. And then we waited almost another 2 hours to take off because of these storms that arrived to DFW at the same time I did:

As usual, I wish I had taken MORE pictures and video but I was watching as much as I could with my own eyeballs and it now seems like a dream. It was over too fast. I am satisfied I was finally part of the purple ocean on May 5, 2023 but now I need to see all seven of them which is now #1 on my bucket list. Using all my universe manifesting, wishing, prayers, chakras, astrological readings, tarot cards and kumbaya to make it happen in 2025-2026.

So tired of the stupidity and don't need to remain anonymous to say what I have to say...

Again people discussing the toxic scum who claim to be BTS fans. They are not fans. They are attention seeking sociopathic losers trying to validate their own existence.

It is not BTS job (or any artist’s job) to control their fans. It is the individual person’s responsibility to make good choices in how they interact on the internet and in public forums.

Tkkers are a whole breed of mentally unstable sociopathic dipshits. They also are not BTS fans. They exist to promulgate their deep-set fantasy world. Their sole purpose is to push their misinformation forward...sound familiar?

The troubling thing with these types of people is they sometimes can turn psychopathic (violent) and that is worrisome. But again, it is not BTS’s job to try to control these groups. It's no one's job, it is the individual who is spewing the hates job to control themselves.

From what I’ve seen some say, a majority of Tkkers are not based in Korea. And a majority communicate in English. That would indicate that perhaps none of the members are really exposed to much of it because they do not pay as much attention to the English comments during V Lives and such. One would hope.

And BTS’ global stature most likely ensures they have a social media team guiding them with their accounts...and read this carefully: GUIDING THE MANAGEMENT OF THEIR ACCOUNTS NOT CONTROLLING THEIR CONTENT. Guiding the MANAGEMENT meaning the set up, the privacy controls (ie: only having them follow each other and making comments only come from those they follow), the log-in authentication protocols...it is IMPERATIVE that these guys have rock solid secure lockdowns on their log-in credentials so I would guarantee they have social media people overlooking these things for them so they can be free to CREATE CONTENT AS THEY SEE FIT for their own accounts.

This team would also help shield them from the ever-present trolls, stalkers, and the afore-mentioned sociopathic losers.

AND ANOTHER THING....

Those people who disparage their company, HYBE, the company that BTS members own a stake in, are supremely ignorant when it comes to business. HYBE is not holding them back or making them follow a script or controlling anything. If you have bothered to do any research you would see that this company has nurtured BTS from the beginning when they were still boys and has evolved into a corporate culture that believes in providing as much support as possible to their artists and staff employees to make a HYBE a very highly regarded workplace in Korea.

This is a publicly traded global corporation that Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook own stock in. All decisions revolve around ways to MAKE MONEY. That’s the purpose...to make money. Not to hobble themselves or shoot themselves in the foot by holding BTS back in order to promote one of the other groups. That’s sheer stupidity thinking.

Seriously kids, curate the content you consume. You have block buttons and report buttons and make it go away powers. Use them on the toxic segments of faux fandom.

When I say I use my block button I am not joking. I use it liberally. I actually answer very few of my inbox asks. An alarming percentage of anons become invisible to me on the first or second look.

But that’s okay. Education is also important. New ARMY need to know these elements exist and they can be loud but you do have a mute button for them. BTS wants us to ENJOY them.

I got a lil bit closer thanks very much to @jmdbjk and also to that amazing photographer and Twitter user @blacknwhite_km WHO HAS FREE BANNERS FOR FREE OUTSIDE VIP PARKING AT ALLEGIANT TODAY SECTION K GO GET 'EM These are actually pretty much the same pics of theirs I have been cropping the hell out of to try to get closeups but the lighting is different.

see the lighting change? I have to admit I use a lot of their work but I do normally attempt to keep the watermark in there. Their pics are incredible.

This is still a blackandwhite_km photo but I cropped it. No other changes to this lighting though, it's very clear.

And I cropped it some more and dammit I am not 100% sure of anything but the malfunction of my cerebral cortex at this time

BUT it kinda looks a bit like a stylized black and white eclipse to me. Maybe less full than this and with more definition in the rays but

Sign: Aquarius. (sings very off-key: ...it’s the dawning of the age of Aquarius..) Not now though. We are way past the dawn of that age. That was actually back in 1970 or whatever year that song came out ... 1969... so now we may be getting to the late afternoon of Aquarius. Or maybe we’re already in next week of Aquarius...who knows. BUT!! the opening lyric IS: “When the MOON is in the Seventh House” ...so there’s that. 

Time: 6:54 p.m. when I began typing this. Let’s see how long it takes for me to finish. I can be long-winded...

Birfday: February 13. Yes, I share the magic number. 

Favorite band/artist: Duh... but before BTS it was a very eclectic mix. Seventies, 80′s, disco, rock, classic rock, alt rock, country, pop, dance, you name it, I have it. From Aerosmith and Alan Jackson to Yes and ZZ Top. 

Last movie: hmmm... hmmm.   (thinks) ... (looks at my netflix saved list, nothing there)... hmm.. (looks at my Apple tv saved list)... OHH!! it was ISLE OF DOGS!!! damn, that was 3 or 4 years ago. An animated movie set in Japan, follows a boy's odyssey in search of his lost dog. It was pretty good in an artsy fartsy, quirky way. I don’t watch movies often. Obviously once every 4 years or longer. 

Last show: Run BTS Telepathy Pt. 1. Before that it was the episode of Our Blues with Jimin’s song With You. I don’t watch television either. Ever. Except that one episode of Our Blues. 

When you created this blog: I think I created it in August of 2021 so it’s been a year. My first post was Oct. 15, 2021. 

What you post: The pandemonium in my head. Whatever is on my mind. I write as a way to get rid of the excess that’s constantly swirling in my brain. And since last summer, my brain has been obsessed with BTS and Jimin, Jungkook and everything surrounding them. Actually, on the outside, I am very calm. But I love words and I like to write and I have a lot to say to no one in particular. HOWEVER! I am also a very very good listener. 

Other blogs: Long forgotten but also served a similar purpose as an outlet for me to express whatever was going on at the time.

Followers: 479. How on earth? Thank you for visiting my little space I created here! I do appreciate you all. Except you...YOU! you Kookie hater, go away. It’s ok, I blocked you so there, I did you a favor. 

Do you get asks: Yes, some of them are actually asks. 

Average hours of sleep: 6. Can function on 5 hours until late afternoon then its downhill from there. My  eyeballs prefer 8 hours but for some reason the rest of my body/brain says nope, too bad.  

Instruments: of creativity. I use instruments of creativity...pencil, brush, filters, words, fonts, colors, all digital of course.

What I’m wearing: oh, dang, I should have changed clothes before sitting down. I am wearing what I wore to work, a pair of skinny black pants and a dark teal t-shirt. With the appropriate undergarments. Barefooted because I kicked off my black leather platform sandals across the room. 

Dream job: Well, actually, I already worked at a few of my dream jobs... retail advertising was my first job out of college so I was exposed to a lot of upscale fashion and whatnot. It was a mixture of fashion illustration and photography. That was a fun job. Then I worked in creative services at a television station where I produced tv commercials. That was fun too. I won awards at that job. I have also worked for another tv production company and traveled a lot. The traveling was fun. Another dream job was working at the biggest ad agency in my city. It turned out to not be quite as fun as I thought it would. It was a good experience (that’s what we say when we are finally free from toxic workplaces but trying to remain positive). Now I am a graphic designer/art director/digital communications manager/video producing jackoff of all trades at a very large non-profit. 

Dream trip: Seoul. Period. I have traveled a lot. When I was young we lived in Canada, Australia, Singapore. I’ve been to 21 states including Hawaii. Multiple times. I’ve visited Japan and the Bahamas. Lived many years in Texas but now Louisiana is my home.

Favorite song: currently its Daydream by J-Hope. But my playlist for fitness walking is: Outro: Ego, Outro: Wings, Trivia: Just Dance, Daydream, Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey), Run BTS (the song), Dope, Boyz with Fun, Dynamite (queen), War of Hormone (don’t judge me). The beats are very crucial to keep up a fast pace. My “just listening for fun” playlist includes Mic Drop (Steve Aoki remix), My Universe (SUGA’s remix only), Airplane Pt. 2, IDOL, Serendipity, Euphoria, Trivia: Seesaw, Magic Shop, Love Maze, Make It Right, HOME, Mikrokosmos, Cypher 4, Baepsae, Daechwita, Base Line, Bad Decisions, Left and Right and others. 

Sidenote: I saw on twitter where Sungwoon will be going to do his military service on Sept. 5 and I almost started crying at work. He was crying on his V Live and I had to turn it off. I don’t even know what he was saying. So when it is the BTS members time to go I am going to be a hot mess.

Playlist Tag Game!

Jimin is home!

So glad to see Jimin on the ground, looking well and rocking this daisy sweater and beanie.  

And he was straight on to weverse to tell us he’s home, yeah love that guy!

Hope he will get a couple of days rest before his next schedule kicks in.

Thanks @jmdbjk​ for the info, Jimin is wearing the Marni Daisy Knit Asymmetrical Neck Sweater below (sorry Mr Model but Park Jimin wears it better) and look at that the sweater is sold out. Don’t know if that is cause and effect but it wouldn’t be the first time.
