I finished rereading @zoe-oneesama’s Scarlet Lady AU!!

This panel from episode 51 part 20 was too cute not to draw! Thank you so much for sharing your Scarlet Lady comic with us, it has soothed the frustrated miraculer in my heart. <3

So I've been working on a short comic, and here's a preview of the first five pages and the cover. They still need some cleanup and editing, and the rest of the pages of course, but I hope you enjoy them!

Page 1. Full page drawing of the orc woman, looking far more ramshackle, covered in blood on a pile of bodies, and holding a giant axe. She pants with exhaustion.

Page 2. She looks over to see three people murmuring around a nearby building. Orc: "Don't tell me there's more." The three pointy eared people approach, looking frightened. Bearded man with his hands raised: "Mistress - Please, have mercy." The Orc is shocked, before she looks down, muttering, "Not looking forward to this part." Looking at the bearded fellow she says, "I will not harm the unarmed." Sighing, the bearded man says, "Thank you, Mistress." Avoiding his eyes, the orc says, "I don't deserve your thanks. I have killed many of your brethren."

Page 3. Two of the people exchange a look between them, faces neutral. Bearded one: "…Our soldiers, yes." The other, an older woman with short hair, looks at the orc. "Mistress, where do you come from?" Bearded one: "Why have you done this?" A shadow passes over the orc's face. "I am from Eskerfort." The next panel shows her saying "And… because I am from Eskerfort." over a flashback to her kneeling on the ground, defeated, in front of burning houses with soldiers barely visible in the background.

The two people in the present look away, almost ashamed, saying "Ah," with understanding.

Page 4. Looking down at the bodies below her, the orc says, "I am tired of bloodshed. I have avenged my kin. I will darken your doorways no more and leave you in peace." As she turns to leave, however, the beareded one rushes forward. "Wait! Worrier! Stop! Please!" The elfin woman looks up at her, asking, "Do you not know our laws?" Together the two try to point out something to the orc. "Look, please!" "Look!" Among the bodies is a fancily dressed one wearing a circlet. Off-panel, the people say, "That one you killed among the dead - he was our king." One of them reaches down to grab the circlet.

Page 5: Looking concerned, the orc woman says, "Are you asking me to be executed? For Regicide?" As the elfin woman is doing something, the bearded one puts his hands on his hips and looks up sternly. "No, Warrior, we are asking you to take responsibility."

The elfin woman holds the circlet up to the orc. It shines. "Our laws are clear," she says, "Whoever kills the king becomes the new king."

The orc stares ahead, eyes becoming pinpricks. "What?"

The next panel has her dressed in a fur lined cape with the circlet on her head, her hair being brushed. She has the exact same expression on her face. "what?"

The last panel has her sitting at the head of a long table with all the elfin people enjoying themselves around her. "what"

Back in the day, when this platform wasn't dead, I made my first 1000 likes post with my Zoie & Kayn comics. People enjoyed them and I made more, they enjoyed them too and I made even more Kayn & Zoe and--- You got what I mean. I met my friends because of them, i started learning comics because of them, I actually made a comic book with 150+ pages! I really-really grateful for this game gifting such awesome characters with who I can resonate with.

Hi Zoe, I saw a few asks before about a physical edition of Scarlet Lady, I'm curious how you are planning to go about it? For now I saw you talk about volume one, are you planning to make one season = one volume? Will there be any changes to the current comics? (Like color, bonuses etc.) thank you in advance!

Yes, the plan is 1 Volume = 1 Season, with Volume 5 having the finale episodes, so, extra thiccccc.

I have edited the pages to fix spelling errors and made a few changes so subtle that I can't even remember them, as well as trying to make old pages more legible. And there are bonus images and commentary to fill in the blank spots left by page bonuses.

^Here's an example bonus pictures I made for "The Pharaoh". It's the picture Alix joked about sharing with the class of Marinette dressed as Scarlet Lady, and Plagg dressed as the Black Cat statues that the group walks past at the end of the episode.

Because mixam (the ones who'll be making these books) needs pages divisible by 4, I do have some full color pages for the Volumes that happened to not fit that number nicely (so far it's just Volume 2), so look forward to that. I think I'll share those pages later this week.

Additionally, the chapters got new "headers" since they're in a new format:

So, it's not as easy as just throwing it into a PDF and giving it out like that. I want this to be a special gift for anyone who's willing to put down money for my content - they deserve something extra for their interest, which is also why I'm not trying to spoil everything.

As for the status of everything: - Volume 1: Final Walk-through. I've gone through one draft and added a few things to match changes I made to other volumes, so after I complete a few commissions I'll be ordering in another (hopefully final!) draft. One book costs me about $60 to order, but that's because I'm not ordering in bulk. But it does mean I take plenty of time between ordering draft. - Volume 2: 2nd Draft. Volume 1 had very few errors in its first draft but Volume 2 had quite a lot, starting with the cover being so dark it was basically a black blob with green eyes (the covers are the different heroes). So I've been editing saturation on the cover and need to print just the cover locally to find the right balance. Additionally, there were a handful that accidentally got cut off, so I needed to fix those. The cover is really the biggest thing holding things up. - Volume 3: Ready for it's 1st Draft. Again, these are expensive, and after the debacle with Volume 2 I want to test print Volume 3's cover to make sure it doesn't have the same problem since it also has a lot of black. - Volume 4: Only the pages have been edited. That means I need to do chapter covers, extras, chibis, and page fillers, as well as the cover. - Volume 5: Same as Volume 4, as well as not being done with the season.

Additionally, I'm not out here trying to get sued, so I need an original product to sell with the book being a "freebie". I don't do a lot of original content, so any suggestions would be appreciated. A print? Charm? Bookmark? Stickers?...pencil?

Then there's obviously the store to use, launching a page, creating marketing materials~ All super fun -_-

✧.* Intj and Entp: if I recall correctly, you had mentioned that you are an Intj. In terms of compatibility, the three match for Enfp, Entp, and Entj. Opposites such as introverts and extroverts are known to be attracted to one another as they can easily balance one another. And even if that difference is a bother, the purpose of being known as an introvert or extrovert is how a person interacts with other people. Thinking is preferred over feeling in both cases of you and Hange. Problems tend to be solved quite quickly when the two of you work together, as long as the job is done the right way, it’s ok with the both of you. Another thing that helps with solving things as a pair is the way you see the world. Both of you prefer to see the bigger picture, how specific information is connected rather than focusing on small details that can possibly slow you down. Similar to being opposites in introversion and extroversion, you are a judger and they are a perceiver. This may be a small problem as a judger prefers to plan things out and make lists, while a perceiver enjoys the flow of life and what comes at them. Plans and routines bore them out. But I’m 100% sure that problem could be overcome. However, compatibility is not solely determined by personality types, but also by individual differences and personal dynamics. 

✧.* Conversations can last for hours, with both of you being passionate individuals. Whether discussing titans or books, Hange will attentively listen to you for extended periods of time, hanging on to every word you say. Hange is enchanted by you. In the middle of a debate or conversation, Hange will gently peck you and carry on with the discussion. It’s purely comical to see you momentarily flustered and distracted even if it were for a mere second. When you are lying down together, Hange lovingly strokes your cheek, brushing away strands of black hair from your face before planting kisses on your mole and lips.

✧.* Upon finding out that unhygienic things are something you are not fond of, Hange tried to be more clean. After every experiment, especially ones involving touching a Titan, Hange thoroughly washes their hands. They even tried to bathe at least twice a week (without Levi knocking anyone out) but it took them forever to find the perfect shampoo they wanted. But it’s all for you! And once Hange got the perfect brand they liked, let’s say that you were not the only proud one. Despite being known as humanity's strongest soldier,Levi couldn't influence Hange's unhygienic habits, but it didn't take much for you to inspire Hange to change.

✧.*  Hange doesn’t care that you are whiny at times all. Though Levi may find it hard to be around you when you are being whiny, Hange tries to see what might make you feel better. Knowing that nothing impresses you much, they try a lot of things to see what may spark the excitement in you. Constantly pestering you to seek enlightenment in your heart, your blunt nature told them to leave you alone and how frustrating that behaviour was. Hange was a little taken back but smiled, stroking a small joke before doing their own things. It was true that part of Hange was slightly hurt, but they wanted to give you a little space. You both wore your hearts in your sleeves and said things that may hurt others, so Hange understood where you were coming from. Luckily for Hange when they were doing some research, you had come to apologise for your behaviour. After asking permission from Erwin, the whole day was taken off for the both of you engaging in activities outside. 

✧.* Is your relationship boring? Not at all. It may be sad, happy and a burst of other emotions at times but never boring. Something is always happening, making it so exciting. Hange is your number one best friend and supporter and vice versa. Whether it’s killing/experimenting on Titans and Eren, attempting to do each other's portrait or going for a walk, those small little activities are a Minh adventure with Hange.

✧.* opposites attract; she fell first, he fell harder; fire and ice; head over heels; childhood friends to sweethearts; picnics at the park; idiots in love; ‘just friends’; everyone knows except them

✧.* I didn’t want to pick Rengoku first since the last matchup I had was with him. But you were so perfect for him. The fire hashira has a unique charm to him, one that rivals your own. I don’t have much of an explanation for this but he was so right for you. His flamboyant personality fits perfectly with your personality. 

✧.* He is so chaotic but in a good way. Similar to you, he is extremely passionate and easily gets hyper. Everyone trusts and knows that you can easily calm him down with your level-headed personality. He is one of those people who not only think you're funny but he knows you are. He can bet anything on that. He is always so optimistic and calls you a ‘party pooper’ when you mention anything with logic involved. Let the man have his fun. He losens up yours strings, jusr let yourself be more open around him. He will welcome you with open arms. Everyone knows how much you like him but he is far too blind, wrapped up in his own little world and often knocking at the gates of others. 

✧.* He loves to go on walks with you. It’s a time of peace within him. Hands intertwined and the sunset painting the sky on orange and yellow hues, he doesn’t want to let you go. He wants to do everything with you and inverse himself in your hobbies of drawing, writing etc. just so he can be with you. He knows he may die unexpectedly one day, he is a Hashira after all. He interacts with demons on a daily base and survives, but not all are so lucky. 

✧.* Your a giver and give too much at times, wearing your heart on you sleeve and encouraging others. You may struggle with empathy but he knows you purely want the best for others and he is here in every step you take to support you. 

✧.* He grew up in a strict and traditional household. Though his nature, hidden between that flame is a gentleman. He will take you on dates and buy you stacks of books. Whenever he sees your eyes lingering on something for a split second before looking away, he will reach the inside of his wallet and buy it for you. He doesn’t care how expensive it is, as long as you happy. He loves to feed you too. As much as his heart longs to cook you something, I don’t think he is a good cook. Whenever he goes on a mission, he will buy a book and some snacks from that place to bring back home to you. He also buys you little hair clips to put on your hair, he thinks you look pretty with anything but you seem to like the idea of wearing hairclips and he supports it!

Hello everybody! Thanks so much for your support for the comic I've been working on. The next few pages are underway!

In the meantime, I was told there's already a book series titled "The Orc and Her Bride", which was totally my bad for not googling it first. I thought about it and decided that I'm not more attached to the title than I am not stepping on other people writing sapphic orc love stories so there's been a title change!

I hope you all like the new title and I hope you'll like where this comic goes. c:

Just read all of Sleepless Domain in like, a week (as Maus can attest I’m sure) and... Okay so I love this comic on the whole, the gay girls, the girls gay.  but it’s also really really nice to see Zoe so well received. Like, for one thing, when she’s introduced we don’t even find out she’s trans until idk a few chapters later? So we (the audience) had a chance to form our own perception of her without any preconceptions being annoying, which is really neat! And then, I assumed that she’d at most be like, a bit character to flesh out the world and maybe be in one hot every 5 chapters. But she kept getting screentime? She had entire scenes mostly just for her and whatever’s going on in her life? She’s rated the third most popular character in the comic? She’s THE most popular character?? What???? And she’s really cool! Like she’s super scared but she’s doing her best! And, I like how the creators said like, “We are going to make a trans girl and have her act more feminine than idk half the cast.” She’s very sweet and polite and bails her friends out of trouble even though she’s scared... and when we find out she had the Dream like a few months ago it’s like well no wonder she’s so anxious!! Girlie has a lot going on that she’s had to adjust to in a hurry!! Anyway she’s really cool and I like this character a normal amount thank you thank you
