As someone who frequently felt (feels?) like they're around but not belonging, I'd just really like to say you've been a welcoming presence. Both in your honesty about your own feelings about belonging, but also in how you interact with folks - you've always come across friendly and like follower counts don't matter.

It makes it feel like it's not weird or sad to be bumbling about in your own little self-contained blog (when it seems like everyone has so much interaction) cause your path with cross with others doing the same, just chilling having a good time - maybe they'll be a passing happy moment, maybe it'll be a new friend, but it's all good.

Follower count- when I first joined it felt like a big deal. It was cool to see people wanting to follow you. But it hit when I realized that even with a high count doesnt really mean anything. They are just a bunch of people who collect you but it never goes beyond that. Not that I'm not grateful, but I appreciate those of you who take an interest in whats going on in my little part of tumblr.

And yeah, I feel like alot of us are just doing our own thing and we find others who have the same vibes and those are the people/blogs we welcome into our space- those are absolutely my kinda people 💜

I try to be honest in what I'm feeling. Some times I know I'm really bright and vibrant here. Other times I'm quiet or distant. I try not to sugar coat those kinda things anymore.

I have been curious though, in your comics of Dorian and Dadstarion you had a panels where Dorian ‘fibbed’ saying they found Kittrick ‘in a bin, and Neverwinter and decided to keep him’. If that’s NOT how they acquired their bundle of joy, HOW DID they come to have Kittrick? An Egg? Magics? Save them from…something?

Deep footprints painted the snow as Legend rolled out his bedroll near the fire. Of course, once this snow melted it would be put out, but for now he should enjoy the warmth.

Sometimes he wonders if it ever snowed back in Koholit, probably not, as it really only “existed” while he was there. He looked over at Time, could he and Marin have what the old man has? He hoped so, but he will never know.

Bittersweet tears lingered through the veterans eyes for a second, but crying won’t change what he lost. Nothing can change what beautiful life he threw away-

“Hey vet! Wanna look at pictures on my slate?” Wild held up his slate. Legend still has no idea how these pictures are taken. Kids and their advanced technology…

“Not right now, I’m busy.” Busy sulking. Legend grumbled, “Can’t you go ask Sky or something? I’m sure he’d love to.”

The cook scrunched his nose for a second, and then shook his head, “Nah, he’s angry at me for using the master sword as a flashlight.”

“I-“ Legend paused he was so lonely would he want to have the company? Would this person end up leaving him like the rest? He could make do with company, for a little bit. “Fine. Sit.” He removed a blanket from the spot beside him. “Okay so basically, this is the time ‘Rule burnt an entire pot of water…” Wild zoomed in on the image, “I secretly pour the ash in your bowls whenever you guys are annoying.”

“That’s so petty!” Legend pokes the champion. He wraps blanket around himself, shielding him from the winter chill and basking in the chaos stored into a tiny screen.

“Oh so you want ashy oatmeal tonight?”

“No thank you.” Legend would prefer to have non toxic food.

As Wild scrolled through the slate, it became clear why Koholit looked like it did.

Legend wanted a family. …

I have always been a big fan of him and he’s always been my favourite troll to begin with but every time I see him and hear him, my heart always beats so much for him, making it aflutter and words cannot describe how special he is to me...how he means the whole world to me~💞🌈💗🌈💞I mean...can you blame me? >//w//`< How could I resist and say no to such an adorable face to go with such a darling like him??💖😍💖😍💖 Cooper is more than just the goofball that we all know and love...he’s my goofball and so much more...~🥹The most amazing troll with such talent, a unique voice and a dazzling yet loving royal family to go with him...~🌟Cooper is also the prince of my heart, who deserves all the love and happiness in the world...and I feel so blessed to be the one to give it all to him, along with my heart~🥰💝💝🥰 April 24th 2020 was the day I drew Cooper for the very first time, and when I started shipping myself with him. - hmm one thing is that when reader got to jackson, ellie was usually just like, curiously watching. anyone would be curious when a new person shows up, that’s just typical ofc. but tommy and joel being so heavily involved made her curious and it took her a bit to speak to reader but she was berating joel with questions every night, despite not speaking a word to reader yet.

- also ellie has those glow in the dark star things sticking to the wood on the ceiling. joel found them and said it seemed like something she would like and she still has them up, when she can’t sleep/struggles w nightmares she finds herself staring at them, especially if reader isn’t there (she usually is)

- reader lowkey struggles w internalized homophobia but she doesn’t rly understand it, especially since it mixes so strongly with the guilt of having feelings for her best friend, like she’s being a creep or doing something wrong. it seems silly to be concerned with something so trivial in the grand scheme of things regarding the state of their world but it very much lingers in the back of reader’s mind

i have a lot of very specific ideas ab reader’s life before jackson but im very hesitant to get into those details in the fic bc i know people read for ellie (duh) and i worry ab people losing interest if I focus so much on fleshing out reader’s background??
