Ok so I posted the new TRT chapter the other day. Obviously. And I had to force myself to do it, to click that final, 'post' button because at that last moment, this big wave of imposter syndrome hit (that had already hit on and off as I'd started working on the chapter again). And it was just this cycle of, 'It's been like 6 months since you posted a chapter or anything other than a couple one-shots and you're out of practice, I bet it's bad, it's probably terrible, I bet everyone's left and no one cares about this thing you love so why do you? What if no one likes it, you're gonna drop this and everyone's gonna god 'wtf is this, pasta? what happened?'' And so I forced myself to post it, took my meds to ensure I slept, and then kinda just bunkered down and slept/hid because I was halfway convinced that all the trauma in the previous six months had just bopped any ability I had to write.

Instead I got this outpouring, of just like, 'WELCOME BACK' and people telling me they're happy that mom is ok (which made me cry but in a good way) and they're sorry Cato passed away (more tears, but comforted tears), but also delightful jokes about the funny lines I put in or screaming over that romantic line or about missing Jane and the dynamics and comments about being eager for the next chapter, and how now I can be one of those AO3 authors with those notes of 'yeah my life blew up so I was delayed, but hey I'm back!' which... yeah. And much like when I first started TRT, I didn't... really expect that at all, and it's made me really emotional.

So if you've dropped into my ask box or the comments or the replies, seriously, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, because the excitement and love and just you all being the best little fam and continuing on this journey of TRT with me - a journey that has now included both Matt and Jane's journey, and a real life journey through a pandemic, a huge move, a passing of two of my pets, my mom's hospitalization and recovery, some heart issues, the cancellation and resurrection of the show, me meeting Charlie Cox and getting him to hold a red thread, my first wood carving event, etc - and I know I say this a lot, but you all really, really help me keep going when things get hard. I'd write TRT for nothing, I would, because I love this story and I intend to see it through, but ya'll just... I love you all tons. I'm hoping to get through the asks and fic comments and replies in the next few days, but I just wanted you guys to know that.

Kitty is closest with Poppy, who she plays and sings music for regularly, and she enjoys playing Julie’s games. Sally has a one sided rivalry with Kitty, but Kitty is too laid back to notice and they love preforming with Sally when the opportunity arises. Kitty is just a little taller than Eddie at 4 foot 4 inches, and her puppet would’ve needed two puppeteers to operate.

hc for sick Gale in your kitty AU, does he prefer to be a cat when he is sick? can he even be a cat at that time, does he need cuddles or does he prefer to be alone, how different it is for Gale considering the time before and after the war, etc. etc. :)

Baby boy 🥺 It depends on what kind of symptoms he has. He'd rather die than deal with gastrointestinal issues in cat form, I mean, look at that cream-white fur... Stuffy nose makes him panic as a kitty, so he stays human until that resolves. If he can breathe through his nose but he has a high fever, he likes being a cat because he can burrow under the blankets better. He doesn’t like to be picked up then because his bones ache, but he finds cuddling comforting.

Sometimes, he tells Bucky verbally in which position he wants to cuddle before shifting into his cat form and climbing into Bucky’s arms. When he has the flu, he prefers being in cat form. It always makes Bucky's heart ache when Gale is really sick and lethargic but still purrs a little.

Before the war, Gale spent almost all of his sick days in human form. A few times, he huddled with the barn cats. Bucky is the first - and basically the only - person who gets to hold him in cat form when he's sick.

Homie lightweight drowning hughie does something for me I don't know how to articulate. Agnostic but suddenly enthusiastically volunteering to get baptized. I love him covered in blood but the little sadistic things he does that he knows he can get away with just gets me, and then playing it off after like it's nbd or accidental. The genuine smile during. I feel like he'd notice the reaction and do it more and I would absolutely reward it

(Side note I read about your cat, I'm so sorry I know how stressful it can be! I hope they're doing better!)

honestly i get you anon. i too want the homelander dunk special. i really miss how much of a cat playing with mice he was in the earlier seasons, always scheming and pulling off his dastardly little plots. his writing has gotten pretty overblown and caricaturish.

but i love subtle malice. i love when he's smiling broadly and looks every bit a hero, but he does or says something that just isn't quite right. the uncanny valley effect of s1 homelander is still so chilling to me! and deeply sexy.

lmaoooo maffhew wanting the knot immediately and having to wait for sasha to catch up with that is so deeply funny like. this omega is not subtle and you’re not a stupid alpha babe! can only imagine what benny has to say to maffhew about it once he catches on and stops banging his head against a wall

But saying that Sasha does side-eye the door knob heavily when Maffhew goes over to close it the first time and he starts sweating like he just got dragged into a game of 7 Minutes in Heaven he did not sign up for and he's 13 again and oh god he got paired with a really cute girl, and he hasn't even had his first real kiss yet and-

And then absolutely nothing happens because Maffhew is just waiting with a polite expectant smile (because his work here is done, he did the heavy lifting know it's Sasha's turn) and this is when Sasha's dynamic classes training kicks in and he basically scolds himself for even assuming in the first place because this is clearly a show of trust (correct) not an invitation for extra circular activities (incorrect buzzer noise) and it basically becomes "This Omega really trusts me, I'm honoured especially as Pack Leader that I'm able to be so accepted into such a private space with the inherent knowledge that I will not encroach their boundaries whatsoever because consent is verbal, this is not in any way an invitation to take advantage of them this is deep platonic trust I will guard with my life :]"

and if you listen closely you can hear the lovely sounds of Maffhew bashing his head into a wall about how much of a gentleman Sasha is but also COME ONNNNNN... you know... once Maffhew realises what's happening which (looks at my watch) is not due for another few months really

Battle of wills: unstoppable force (maffhews catholic school understanding of dynamic interactions) vs immovable object (overseas alpha cotillion classes)

And if you think it's an Oh! An overseas dynamic thing! It's not. The Euros are watching the horrible car crash in front of them and doing absolutely nothing about it because it's none of their business, but they will stare at it... maybe judge it a bit but definitely are observing from the tall grass.

and I'm also not saying that luosty lundy forsy and bobby have a current running bet of how long it'll take for maffhew to break sasha in but i'm also not not saying that... luosty goaded lundy in the midst of a gossip session ("It has to be 3 months, right?) forsy happened to be around so lundy turned to him for advice ("7 months.") and maybeeee bobby overheard from all the way over from his stall and puts in his two cents for what it's worth ("6. Captain nice but not that nice. Very impatient." "So 3!" "No. Impatience makes him double the time, and wait longer. 6 months.") (lundy finally settles on a good 5 months because he's indecisive)

And Sasha does eventually pick up everything maffhew is throwing down... eventually... and when he does it becomes more so I want to court this omega the way they deserve I will take this slow and romance them sweetly :) *smash cut to maffhew caterwauling like a cat in heat*

but also once again its not like maffhew is helping sasha in any way this is idiot4idiot and benny would like to enjoy the car crash with the euros but unfortunately that's his soulmate, thats his bestie, his littermate from birth who has been weaned on the same teat as they climbed over each other to get to it, the first girl you kissed in your childhood bedroom because somehow you started play fighting on the bed because she was like i could totally pin you down easy and then she does and you always noticed how beautiful she was but shes even more gorgeous when she's pinning your wrists to your hannnah montana duvet you promised yourself youd changed out before she came over but you forget and well she teased you about it and you cant help but giggle about how perfect this all is and it seems that the natural conclusion to this is to taste the strawberry lipgloss of her lips because whats a kiss between besties huh its tacky and sticky and it tastes like summer and just other apt metaphors to put here about the inherent -isms of their relationship that i nearly cant put to words properly other than girls having fun (they are fucking)

Hey everyone! New chapter was posted and oh my god it's amazing and while it will take me some time to make a proper scanlation [I'm so behind on many chapters :(( I'm just gonna make a few notes, already posted one and there will be more if I have some free time because as of writing this post, it's pretty late...

I also wanted to let you know that in about a week, I will be leaving my job because I've been tired and I haven't had time for my hobbies and there are a few factors that I considered when I decided to quit. People at work gave me a hard time, sometimes I had to stay overtime and I just didn't want to go trough the situations like my old job, so I decided to quit because I felt miserable not having time for my hobbies anymore.

So yeah, by the end of the month I should be done and get back to the things I love :)
