THIS IS MY FAVOURITE OMEGAVERSE FAN FIC️❤️
thank you so much for writing this masterpiece
cherry pop
pairing: lestappen. word count: 6.2k rated explicit. college au. omegaverse. alpha!max. omega!charles. smut. chussy.
Charles Leclerc has always been a problem. He’s the most stubborn person Max knows, opinionated without reason to change his mind, hits where it hurts—below the belt—, loves to start fights with alphas, is competitive to a fault, and absolutely hates losing.
An omega with a chip on his shoulder.
He’s also gorgeous.

I love that manu went running to sven because he knows he will collect a card lol but then thomas ran to save manu because DON'T TOUCH HIM
Everything about that sequence is pure, concentrated comedy gold from start to finish 😂 so let’s do a play-by-play, shall we?
Now if you’ll direct your attention to the bottom right of the gif below, you’ll see a wild Sven Ulreich absolutely BOOKING IT from the stands, ready to go on a warpath. The Ulle cometh, so to speak.
And naturally, he wastes ZERO time, nudging his way right into the thick of it.
Strong words are exchanged, and by exchanged I mean it’s pretty much just Ulle cursing out anyone on the Union Berlin coaching staff within shouting distance.
Sensing the escalating conflict in a way only a mama bear can, Manu swoops in to save the day (or to save Ulle from cutting a bitch—you decide).
In the midst of his efforts to pry a positively irate Ulle out of the fray though, Manu sustains a few gentle shoves himself. This of course angers beloved twink warrior Thomas Müller, who rushes in to assist his decade partner in his Sven Ulreich rescue mission.
Now this may seem, to the untrained eye at least, like standard operating procedure for a hardened Bayern diplomat. In actuality though, it’s a desperate, last-ditch effort to get his bf tf outta there (mostly unscathed). And let’s face it: the only way to do that is to remove our notorious (affectionate) pot-stirring goalkeeping deputy from the scene so Manu doesn’t have to mediate for anyone anymore.
Once the dust settles, only a visibly furious Thomas remains, who, naturally, has to be escorted away, because HOW DARE THEY touch his bf and brother-in-arms and think they’ll get off without a scratch?
In all seriousness though, I love that even though Ulle is pretty much benched whenever Manu is fit, he’s still just as invested in the match and willing to do battle for any of his teammates whenever they’re slighted in any way. That’s why he’s our beloved little card collector—our favorite justice warrior 🥰
And we all know that when someone even thinks about harming his dearest Manu, Thomas’s protective instincts go into overdrive and he can’t help but give them hell for it. All the better that we got angry Ulle content out of the deal—a two-for-one special folks! It’s impossible not to love the complete circus that is our Bayern squad, I swear 😂 even when they’re not playing at their best, you can’t say they’re not entertaining!
#anon 💖#and people say fc hollywood is dead…smh 🙄#I had so much fun writing this lmao#I bet you weren’t expecting a complete color commentary when you asked me this but you know how I am 😂#thank you so much for this masterpiece of an ask bestie!! stop by anytime ❤️#sven ulreich#manuel neuer#thomas müller#thomas muller#thomas mueller#neuller#fc bayern#fc bayern munich#fc bayern münchen#fc hollywood#beating the subject matter to a pulp as per#bri’s gifs

Imagine the six days scenario with the boys, but it turns out the mission was supposed to be done in one day, and the reader went through he'll to get out and is met with this reaction? Imagine when she finally tells the reason she was away, would they regret their actions? How would they react? Don't know if if you take requests, if you do, consider this one.
If not, I am glad I got to read this masterpiece, thank you ❤️
Thank you so much for the request — I absolutely do take them, and I really appreciate this one! ❤️
I tried so hard to keep it short, since the “Six Days” theme has already been thoroughly explored... but, well, I failed spectacularly 😅 So here’s another deep-dive into a what-if/imagine scenario — one that can be read as either an alternate branch of the original storyline or... something else entirely. I’ll let you decide 😉
I’d love to hear your thoughts if you read it — truly means the world to me!
I’ve received so many requests for continuations — especially for Xavier — and yes, his already has a full-length, dramatic follow-up (because how could I not?). This one here is more of a request-based scenario, but it can absolutely be read as its own kind of continuation. Think of it as an alternate path the story could have taken. (One day I’ll write full versions for all the boys… but for now, consider this a little taste.) Hope you enjoy — and as always, I’d love to hear what you think! 💬💔 Here are the links to the previous parts in the series, in case you want to revisit or catch up:
Original Post | Xavier's Story
CW/TW: Psychological trauma, PTSD themes, Forced isolation, Violence / combat injuries, Mentions of starvation, Emotional manipulation, Past emotional abuse, Mental breakdowns, Intense guilt / self-blame, Brief implications of suicidal ideation (in self-sacrificing context), Adult intimacy (emotionally driven, not graphic)
The Truth — What Really Happened
It was supposed to be one day.
A clean, strategic infiltration. In and out. No complications. No room for error.
But no one accounted for the Wanderer.
No one predicted that the target—some nameless, faceless shade masquerading as a rogue—would be more than just dangerous. That he'd found a way to twist Protocore into something ancient and volatile. That he would trigger a fracture in time itself.
In a single blink, the world split. You fell into it. And the loop began.
Six days for them. Six weeks for you.
You lived, died, and bled your way through the same endless day.
Again. And again. And again.
Locked in a cycle of violence, decay, and despair—while everyone else moved on without you.
You clawed your way back—half-starved, half-mad, barely remembering your name. And when you finally escaped the loop, stepped back into their world, broken and still breathing—
They were waiting.
Angry. Unforgiving. And utterly, terrifyingly unaware.
Until now. Until you tell them.
💛 Xavier
It only felt right to write Xavier’s piece after the continuation I posted earlier. The original scene stood strong on its own, but this one—this is what came next. The moment after the storm. The truth laid bare. A quiet, alternate branch of the story, or perhaps a natural consequence of the one that already unfolded. Either way—I’m glad it found its voice.
You don’t ease into it. You sit across from him in the quiet of the morning, sunlight creeping up the walls like it’s unsure of its welcome, and you tell him.
Not six days.
Six weeks.
A loop. A fracture in time. An engineered nightmare that left you bleeding against the same hours, over and over, clawing through shadow just to return to him. Alone. Lost. Dying.
Xavier doesn’t speak. Doesn’t even blink.
But something in him breaks.
Not loudly. Not violently. It’s quieter than breath. Slower than thought. His fingers slip from the edge of the cup in his hand, and it falls. Shatters against the floor with a sound so sharp it startles the silence—ceramic shards skittering like teeth across stone.
Still, he doesn’t look at you.
He stands, but not with purpose. With instinct. His body moves before his mind can catch it. He turns, walks toward the far wall like he’s searching for air, like the room is suddenly too small to hold what’s happening inside his chest.
You rise—hesitant, aching—but he lifts a hand to stop you. Not cruelly. Gently. Like he’s afraid that if you touch him, he’ll fall apart in a way he can’t recover from.
He presses his palm to the wall. Just one. The other curls into a fist at his side.
“I thought you abandoned me,” he says at last, voice raw in a way you’ve never heard from him. “And I punished you for it.”
He turns back.
And there’s nothing left of the man who told you to ask again in six days. Nothing of the controlled strategist, the ever-collected ghost of war. His jaw is clenched too tight. His eyes are glassed over with fury—but not at you.
At himself.
“I accused you. I mocked you. I dismissed what little strength you had left and threw my pain in your face like it was the only thing that mattered.”
He crosses the room again, slower now. Purposeful. His hands don’t tremble, but his voice does.
“I let you stand there, in front of me, broken... and I thought I was the one who’d suffered.”
He kneels.
Not dramatically. Not for effect.
He lowers himself before you like a man who no longer believes he has the right to stand. His gaze stays down. One hand reaches inside his coat, and when it returns, you see it:
A blade.
Polished. Ritual-cut. Ceremonial. One of the old ones—etched with language you don’t recognize. But you understand that these words mean oath, atonement, belonging.
He offers it to you in silence. Flat in his palm.
“Where I’m from,” he says, quietly, “a wound like this is paid in blood. A betrayal like mine is not survived—it is surrendered to.”
Your hands don’t move. Your breath barely does.
“If you want justice,” he whispers, “take it.”
You stare at him. The weight of the blade between you. The weight of everything.
And then—slowly, gently—you take it from his hand.
Only to let it fall.
The sound is soft this time. Barely a whisper of steel on floorboards.
Then you fall with it.
You drop to your knees in front of him, wrap your arms around his shoulders, and let your tears fall freely.
“I don’t want justice,” you breathe into the curve of his neck. “I want you.”
He doesn’t pull away. Doesn’t speak. Just holds you, arms banding around your waist, face pressed into your shoulder like he’s trying to memorize what survival feels like.
When he finally speaks, it’s not confession. It’s surrender.
“After what you endured… after what I made you endure alone… I don’t know what anything means anymore. Not the mission. Not the cause. Not the point.”
You pull back, just enough to see him.
His eyes are hollow with grief. But deeper still—something flickers.
“I thought I understood devotion,” he says, voice barely above a breath. “But I was wrong. What I gave you wasn’t loyalty. It wasn’t love. It was pride. Control. Fear, dressed in logic. And I used it to wound you when you were already bleeding.”
His jaw tightens. His gaze falls.
“I was cruel.”
It’s not said for effect. There’s no tremble in his voice, no self-indulgent break.
It’s simply true.
“And I’m sorry.”
The silence that follows is soft. Dense. Not empty.
You brush your fingers across his cheek, tilt his face toward yours.
“I forgive you,” you say. Steady. Clear. “Because not everything in this world is black and white. And I understand why you did what you did. I know the shape of your fear.”
Your thumb brushes beneath his eye. His breath catches.
“I didn’t tell you to hurt you. Or to punish you. I told you because…” You pause. Your voice thickens with truth. “Because you’re the only one I trust with all of it. The only one who would understand. Who wouldn’t fall apart under the weight of what I’ve lived through.”
You lean forward.
Kiss him. Gently. Not desperate. Not demanding.
Just there. Warm. Real. Home.
Your hands slide up to his temples, fingers massaging slow circles at his hairline, coaxing the tightness from his brow. You feel it—inch by inch—how he softens beneath your touch.
“Let it go,” you whisper. “Don’t carry this weight. Not for me.”
He exhales, shaky. Silent.
You hold him tighter.
“You are my light, Xavier. You illuminate the path. You anchor me when everything else turns to ash. And in that place—those six weeks—do you know what kept me alive?”
Your voice breaks, but you keep going.
“I couldn’t bear the thought of you mourning me. That’s what kept me breathing.”
He says nothing for a moment.
Just rests his forehead against yours. One hand moves to your chest, flattening over your heart like he’s grounding himself with your pulse.
Then—softly, firmly, as if carving the words into stone:
“You will never carry pain alone again. Not while I draw breath.”
No grand vow. No poetry.
Just fact.
And somehow—that’s what makes it a promise.
💗 Rafayel
The morning sun slips in like melted gold, tracing the edge of the sheets, catching the soft arch of your cheekbone. You lie half-curled beneath the covers, his T-shirt clinging to your body like second skin.
And in that sacred hush before the world stirs—you speak.
Not because he demands it. Not because you owe it.
But because somewhere between the echo of his heartbeat and the way his arms wrapped around you like the only anchor you had left—you remembered how to breathe.
You tell him.
About the mission. The Wanderer. The fracture in time.
About the loop.
How six days for him were six weeks for you.
How you woke up every day inside the same nightmare. How you died. How you clawed your way back. Alone. Over and over.
And when you fall silent, your voice scraped raw from remembering—he still doesn’t speak.
He just looks at you.
Like the sun never rose until he saw your face again.
His hand brushes your cheek, feather-light. His voice—when it comes—is almost a whisper.
“Are you ready to share the rest?”
You blink. “The rest?”
“The weight of it,” he says. “Not the facts. Not the fight. The dark. The ache. The part that still won’t let you sleep.”
His voice is gentle. Too gentle for a man like him. It trembles with caution, as if even asking is a violation.
You hesitate. The memories flicker like shadows across your mind—distorted, aching, sharp.
“No,” you answer truthfully. “Maybe not ever.”
His gaze doesn’t falter.
He nods once. No protest. No press.
Then his voice, lighter this time—almost a whisper:
“Then I’ll just have to help you forget.”
And he does.
He lifts you carefully, as if your body might shatter beneath his hands. You expect the weight of a blanket, but instead—he wraps you in something else entirely.
A covering like seafoam. It feels like nothing you’ve ever touched—gossamer, weightless, but cool and smooth against your skin. A whisper of silk and tide.
“It's from home,” he murmurs, adjusting it carefully over your shoulders. “Woven from the ocean’s first breath. They say it keeps sorrow out.”
Then—he scoops you up like you weigh nothing. Carries you to the kitchen with quiet reverence, as if this moment is sacred.
He sets you down on the marble countertop and kisses your knee.
Then he starts making coffee.
He hums as he moves—something aimless and tuneless and purely him. You close your eyes for a moment, letting the scent of roasted beans and vanilla settle around you.
And then—
“So,” he says casually, not looking up, “a cat broke into the studio last night.”
You blink. “A cat?”
He nods solemnly. “Orange. Loud. Looked like he owned the place. Knocked over three canvases and nearly drank my turpentine.”
You raise a brow. “And naturally, you assumed this was my doing.”
“Who else would weaponize cuteness to such chaotic effect?”
You laugh—quiet but real. “I’m not that cruel.”
“No,” he agrees, turning to face you with a soft smile. “But I do suspect you’re still hoping I’ll change my mind about cats.”
You sip your coffee. “I might be.”
Later, the bath is warm, the water laced with something lavender and soft. He sits behind you, your back pressed to his chest, his arms a steady weight around your ribs.
His fingers move slowly—massaging your shoulders, your forearms, your palms, like he’s trying to erase every echo of pain from your body with touch alone.
You both talk, but nothing heavy. Just stories. Old memories. Little things. The shape of the moon that night. The smell of burnt sugar in his favorite gallery. How he once mistook a mannequin for a person and apologized to it for five minutes.
You laugh again, softer this time. And it makes something in him melt.
He wraps you in the softest robe he can find. Carries you again—this time to the bedroom. The ocean glows outside, waves catching the last of the sun like pearls tossed across the horizon.
But he doesn’t stop there.
“Come,” he says, offering a hand. “Tea. Sunset. Company far superior to mine.”
You smile. Follow.
And when you step onto the veranda—there it is.
A small white basket. A red ribbon.
And inside—
A snow-colored kitten, curled like a pearl in a nest, blinking up at you with impossibly blue eyes.
You freeze.
Turn to him, wide-eyed.
He shrugs, just slightly. Nervous. Like he’s bracing himself for mockery. For rejection.
You blink again. “You—Raf, you hate cats.”
He exhales through his nose. “I fear them. Different thing.”
Your eyes shimmer.
He moves toward you slowly, hands lifted in surrender.
“I wanted to make you smile,” he says simply. “That’s all. Just—smile. Like you used to. Before I—” He swallows.
He crouches down before you. One hand comes up to gently stroke the kitten. The other finds your knee.
His eyes lift to yours—and there’s no performance left in him now. Just Rafayel. Just the man beneath the glitter.
“I was so awful to you.”
You open your mouth, but he shakes his head.
“Don’t say it wasn’t that bad. I know what I am when I’m scared. I threw wine over grief and laughter over longing because I didn’t know what else to do. I ruined canvases with your name on my tongue and strangers in my house, and the whole time—I just wanted you to walk through that door.”
His fingers tighten on your leg.
“And when you did—when you came back—I was so full of rage at the idea you’d left me, that I didn’t even ask if you were okay.”
He breathes. One hand comes up, presses lightly to your ankle.
“I don’t know if I deserve this. Any of it. You. The right to hold your hand. To be the one who touches you when you’re tired. Who makes you laugh. Who paints your name into the ocean.”
You slide your fingers into his curls, threading gently through the soft waves.
And he stills. Like he’s afraid to move.
You whisper, “I never wanted perfect. I wanted you.”
He exhales.
“I swear,” he says, softly now, firmly, “on every color I’ve ever touched—never again. I’ll never put my pride above your heart. I’ll never leave you alone in the dark I made.”
Then—he leans forward. Presses his forehead to your knee.
The kitten meows softly, curling into the basket.
And finally—you smile.
Because this?
This is home.
💙 Zayne
You expected something.
A tremor. A breath. A word. Anything.
Instead, Zayne listened. Like a doctor reviewing a chart. Like a man auditing loss.
He didn’t speak when you finished. He simply nodded—once—and turned away, reaching for the drawer by the bedside as though the moment hadn’t cracked the very floor beneath his feet.
His hands, always precise, always godlike in their stillness, carried a faint tremble now. Just at the edges. So minor you might’ve doubted your own eyes, if you didn’t know how obsessively exact they always were.
“I asked,” he said, adjusting a monitor. His voice was quiet. Neutral. Not for you—for himself. “I asked if you’d caught a cold.”
He finished adjusting the drip, typed something into the tablet. Still no eye contact. Still no softness in his voice. But the line of his shoulders was off. A degree too low. A breath too far from centered.
Then—he turned back to you.
His gaze met yours at last. And though his voice didn’t change, the words did.
“I would like to conduct a full diagnostic. Neurological, cellular, metabolic.” A pause. Then softer, with exquisite restraint: “Please allow me.”
You hesitated—not because you doubted him, but because you recognized the plea underneath the logic. He wasn’t doing this for the data. Not really.
You nodded.
And he breathed again.
He worked in silence. Gentle. Thorough. Every sensor placed with hands that barely touched your skin. Each test executed with a reverence that spoke more than words ever could. He treated you like something sacred—something already broken that could not, must not, fracture further.
When sleep finally came, it swallowed you whole.
And when you opened your eyes again—the world was still. Dim. The sterile light of early morning filtered through the blinds.
Zayne sat in the chair beside your bed. Unmoved.
He hadn’t changed clothes.
The same shirt. The same faint stain near the cuff from yesterday’s blood draw. One elbow rested on the arm of the chair, his fingers curved over his mouth, gaze lost in some calculation too heavy for paper.
When he noticed you stir, his posture didn’t shift. But his eyes warmed—just barely. Just enough.
“I cancelled my procedures for the week,” he said simply. “Transferred patients to colleagues. For now, my only case is you.”
You blinked, silent. Then your gaze drifted down, to the low table by the bedside.
There, lined with the kind of hesitant care that comes from someone unused to gifts, sat a modest row of familiar things. A bouquet of white jasmine, fresh and fragrant. Two of your favorite candies in delicate wrappers. And—absurdly, heartbreakingly—three new plush toys, small and soft and so clearly chosen by someone who’d spent an agonizing amount of time in the gift shop second-guessing every decision.
Your heart folded inward.
“Am I dying?” you asked, quieter than you meant to.
He didn’t smile.
But his voice, when it came, was soft and absolute.
“I won’t allow that.”
A long silence passed.
Then you shifted—carefully, your muscles aching—and reached for him.
“Come here,” you murmured.
For a moment, he hesitated. Not because he didn’t want to, but because some part of him still didn’t believe he deserved the invitation. But he came. And when he lay beside you on the narrow couch, his body held a tension that didn’t ease until your head rested on his shoulder.
He stayed still. Let you move first. Let you curl against him the way you needed. His hand hovered over your back, uncertain, until you nudged it gently into place.
Only then did he hold you.
Not tightly.
Not desperately.
But with the kind of quiet conviction that said he would stay as long as it took.
You felt his breath in your hair before you heard his voice.
“I don’t pray,” he said, low, clinical as ever. “I believe in medicine. In numbers. In protocols.”
A pause. His fingers brushed your spine, feather-light.
“But if you hadn’t come back... I would’ve made an exception.”
You didn’t answer. You didn’t need to.
Because some things, even with Zayne, are understood in silence.
And in that silence, held against the rhythm of his heartbeat, you felt it clearly: you were no longer his patient.
You were his entire world.
❤️ Sylus
For a moment after you speak, the room holds its breath. So does he.
Sylus doesn’t ask questions. Doesn’t deny it. Doesn’t demand proof or press for detail. He simply stands there, stone-still, with your words unraveling him from the inside out. The way you say it—quiet, unshaking, without accusation—is somehow worse than if you’d screamed.
His gaze drifts over you then, and you feel the moment the veil lifts.
It’s in his eyes first—how they widen, flicker, and fixate. He takes in the shadows beneath yours, the pallor of your skin, the hollowness in your cheeks. His breath catches when he sees how your clothes hang looser than before. How your hands tremble faintly, barely perceptible unless one knows you too well.
And Sylus knows you.
His chest rises once, sharp and shallow. Then he moves.
Not fast. Not sudden.
But with purpose.
The next second, he’s in front of you, reaching—his fingers brush your jaw, feather-light, as if afraid that even the weight of his touch might bruise. He doesn’t speak as he leads you gently—gently, from a man whose hands have broken bones—into the nearest chair. One knee hits the ground beside you. He opens your jacket with slow precision, not to expose, but to check. To see. To know.
“You’ve lost weight,” he murmurs, voice rough and uneven, like gravel sliding beneath steel. His fingers glide down your arm, finding the sharp edges of bone where softness used to be. “Why didn’t I see it sooner?”
You try to speak, but he shakes his head, already rising.
He moves through the room like a storm with no wind—silent, but charged. Opens drawers. Pulls out clean clothes, a blanket, a glass of water. Then he’s back at your side, crouching again, one arm draped over your lap like a bridge between his fury and your exhaustion.
His hand wraps gently around your ankle, thumb pressing lightly against the bone there as he stares at it like it personally accuses him.
“I told them to take you.” His voice is lower now. Hoarse. “Told them to scare you. Make a point.”
He looks up at you. And for once, his face is completely unguarded.
“I hit you.”
It wasn’t hard. It wasn’t brutal. Not for someone like him.
But it was enough.
His voice falters, only slightly.
“And then I said I wouldn’t look for you.”
He exhales, and it’s not a breath—it’s a confession.
“That was the worst one, wasn’t it?” he asks. “Out of all of it. That’s the one that stayed.”
Your silence says enough.
And something in him breaks again—quietly, like a structure folding inward with no one left to hold it up. His forehead presses lightly to your knee, his arm tightening around your thigh. You feel him breathe you in, like scent alone might bring you back from the half-place you escaped.
“I should’ve known the second I touched you that something was wrong. I should’ve seen it on your face.” His voice cracks, just once. “But I was so angry. So fucking angry I couldn’t feel anything but the space where you weren’t.”
He pulls back. Looks at you again—slowly, steadily. And something inside him hardens, not with rage, but resolution.
“You’re not lifting a hand again. Not for food. Not for water. Not for anything. I don’t care how long it takes. I don’t care what it costs. You’re going to rest, and I’m going to fix this—you—with my own hands, piece by piece.”
And when he stands, it’s not the usual slow menace or calculated power.
It’s reverent.
He lifts you—not like someone injured. Like something sacred. And when he carries you out of the room, wrapped in warmth and silence, there is no doubt in your mind:
Sylus will not let go again.
Not even if time itself tries to take you.
💜 Caleb
You aren’t even halfway through when it hits him.
Not like a punch. Not like a wound.
Like an organ failing.
He blinks once. Twice. And then nothing. No movement. No breath. Just silence.
Then, quietly—almost absently—he mutters, “I’ll resign.”
You look up, startled, and the absurdity punches out of you in a short, cracked laugh.
It’s the wrong moment. Too sharp, too bitter. But it slices through the tension like a scalpel.
And still—he doesn't move.
His hands press against the table, white-knuckled. Not to steady himself—he isn’t swaying. He’s rigid. Locked. Like something in him has calcified to hold him upright.
“I’m not fit to lead,” he says, voice flat, low, scorched. “Not when I see betrayal in the only person I’ve ever trusted.”
Whatever breath of amusement you had left dissolves instantly.
“I didn’t just fail as someone who was supposed to protect you,” he adds. “I failed as your—” He stops. Chokes it down. His jaw clenches so hard you can hear the sound of his teeth grinding. “As your Caleb.”
And then—he moves.
Quick, purposeful. Gone in a flash. You hear the kettle filling, the sharp click of a drawer, the dull thud of something fragile hitting the counter too hard. The way he clutches at control would be laughable if it weren’t so violent.
Then the bathwater starts.
Hot. Too hot. He’s not measuring anything. Just pouring. He throws open the cabinet, snatches towels, drops one, curses.
When he returns—his phone is in hand. “I’ll call Dr. Navik. I want a full neurocardiac scan, and we need to rule out—”
He stops. Mid-sentence. Thumb poised over the screen.
You don’t say a word. You just watch as something slows in him. As if time, for once, is merciful.
He lowers the phone. Turns toward you.
His voice—when it comes—isn't clipped or cold or distant. It's frighteningly gentle.
“Pip-squeak.”
He kneels before you, as if he’s afraid standing over you might shatter what little is left between you.
When he reaches out, it’s so slow. So reverent. The back of his fingers graze your cheekbone, barely there. Not because he doubts you—but because he doubts himself.
“How do you actually feel?” he whispers. “Not what I can fix. Not what the scans will say. Just you.”
You breathe. Only once. It shakes.
“Like roadkill,” you murmur. Then softer, almost smiling: “A hot bath wouldn’t hurt. And sleep. Maybe a week of it.”
Your faint attempt at a smile breaks him.
Not loudly. Not outwardly. He doesn’t cry. But something in his face folds in on itself, like it’s suddenly too heavy to wear. He draws a slow, trembling breath.
“I accused you,” he says, and now his voice is wrong. Hoarse. Quiet. Dismantled. “I accused you of being with someone else. After you went through six weeks of hell.”
You try to speak. He doesn’t let you.
“I thought you left me,” he says, and this time his voice cracks—just barely, but it’s there. A faultline in steel. His eyes are on the floor now, unfocused, as if he’s speaking to ghosts.
“I believed you would.”
His breath falters, like the truth is costing him oxygen.
“That it made sense. That I wasn’t enough.”
A pause. His throat works hard around the next words.
“Or worse—too much.”
His hand curls into a fist against his thigh, knuckles white. Not from anger. From restraint. From the effort not to collapse under the weight of everything he’s never said.
“That you’d finally find someone who doesn’t smother you with love that borders on obsession.”
He shifts, like his own skin is too tight. His jaw clenches. His eyes squeeze shut for half a second before he forces them open again, forces himself to keep looking at you—even if it kills him.
“Someone who wouldn’t try to chain you close,” he whispers, “just because he’s too selfish to breathe without you.”
He looks at you now—really looks—and the devastation in his gaze is endless.
His voice breaks on the last word.
“Someone who wasn’t… me.”
And for a moment, he’s not a soldier. Not a leader. Not even a man.
He’s just Caleb. That boy who loved you before he had language for it. And who never stopped. Even when it ruined him.
His hands curl into fists against his knees.
“I interrogated you. Like a stranger. Like a traitor. And all the while you were trapped—alone, dying, fighting—and I was worried about your silence in my bed.”
A breath. And another. Like he’s drowning in air.
“I loved you before I even knew what that word meant,” he whispers. “I carried it for years, swallowed it, starved it. I told myself it was wrong. Forbidden. And the moment I finally had you—really had you—I destroyed it with my own hands.”
He doesn’t look at you. Not until your fingers find his.
Then he shudders. And looks up.
“You always forgave me,” he says, voice breaking now. “Even when I didn’t deserve it. But this time… if you don’t. If you can’t…”
His hand trembles in yours.
“…I’ll understand.”
You shake your head. Just once.
And in that second—he folds into you, arms curling around your waist, forehead pressed to your stomach like a prayer he doesn’t believe he deserves to say out loud.
When he finally carries you to the bath, it’s not in silence. He keeps murmuring things—small things, promises, broken confessions, names only he calls you. He doesn’t try to be strong. He only tries to be there.
And when you’re finally in bed again, drowsy and warm, you find him already beside you. Fully clothed, facing the ceiling, his hand resting on the sheets between you like a lifeline.
You whisper his name.
He turns his head, eyes dim in the dark.
You reach for him, and he comes to you instantly, without hesitation. He lies down beside you, and when you press your head to his chest, he exhales like it’s the first real breath he’s taken in years.
His hand strokes your hair once.
And then, quiet—so quiet it almost isn’t real—
“I’ll never be the same.”
You don’t respond.
Because you both know it’s true.
And because you both know he doesn’t want to be.

«Dear Your Holiness» Remus will probably always be my favorite Remus.
Drawing him with darker skin was challenging (since I have never done this before and was worried I wouldn't be able to paint it right) but I wanted to draw him how he is described in the fic. I don't know if I managed but well I tried.
Thank you @mollymarymarie for writing this masterpiece. It means so much to me and I am forever grateful ❤️

Spicy chatting with Stan and Ford? Consider this ask my vote for that ❤️💙
(Love your writing, I've lurked for a while and finally remembered to follow)
sexting Stan and Ford headcanons
2 part of this
also thank you so much <3 im so glad to know you enjoy my writing !
tagging : @nekovmancer
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ Stan Pines

✧ he tries. god, does he try. but his texts are a combination of filthy and absolutely unhinged, it’s straight to “doll im sittin' here thinkin’ 'bout how good you’d look bent over my desk.”
✧ typically sends a blurry pic of his bare chest, captioned, “betcha wanna get your hands on this masterpiece, huh?" and you’re just staring at the picture like. . . gosh, Stan, who took this? did he set a fucking timer? he looks hot though
✧ so yeah Stanley sends you photos, usually unprompted and always blurry because he’s just an old man, dear, what did you except?? his clothes half-open, pants unzipped just enough to give you a peek of what’s underneath and next message is: “betcha wanna see the whole thing, huh? be a good girl and ask nice.”
✧ texts you in the middle of the day: “gonna bend you over the kitchen counter tonight babe. make you cum on my fingers before I even think about putting my cock in you. whaddaya think?”
✧ he loves it when you’re bold, you send him something like: “what if I sit on your face instead?” and he’s instantly typing back: “doll, don’t threaten me with a good time. ya know I’d keep ya there till your legs give out.”
✧ Stan worships your photos. you send him a quick pic of you in bed and he replies immediately: “FUCK look at you. LOOK at THAT body. im gonna make you regret sending me that when im back. you better be ready for this cock, doll, ‘cause im not holding back.”
✧ a huge tease tbh, he wants you to beg. “tell me what you want, sweetheart. you want me to spread those legs and eat you out until you’re shaking? or maybe you want this thick cock filling you up?“
✧ “you’re touching yourself right now, aren’t ya? cant stop thinkin bout me pounding into you, huh? go ahead, baby. lemme know how bad you want it.”
✧ he’s got no shame about jerking off while texting you, you say one dirty thing, and he’s already: “jesus fucking christ, you’re killin me here, doll. im so fuckin hard right now. If you were here, I’d have you on your knees, taking care of me like the good girl you are.”
✧ Stan’s aftercare starts in the texts. so after he’s talked you through your orgasm, his messages turn soft. “that’s my girl, bet you look real pretty all flushed and satisfied. get some rest, doll you’re gonna need it when I get home.”
✧ Stan LOVES it when you play hard to get. “cmon, baby, don’t leave me hangin’. I swear, I’ll make it worth your while when I get my hands on you again.” but when you finally cave and give him a little, just a little, taste of what you want, his reply is “yeah that’s better, let me see that pussy of yours. you know I can make you feel good. let me prove it.”
✧ as you have already understood, this man is shameless, and he knows he’s good at getting under your skin.
“been thinkin’ about that pretty little cunt of yours, doll. what’s it gonna take to get my face buried there tonight?
✧ if you send him something back, it’s over. he’s going to double down with something that makes your toes curl. “you don’t know how badly I wanna fuck that smart mouth of yours until you forget your own name.”
✧ the man is a sucker for dirty talk. he loves it when you tease him back, but he’s the most eloquent in his replies
✧ “If I was there right now, you wouldn’t be able to get a single word out. id have you moanin’ so loud they’d hear you down the street. you like the sound of that?”
✧ “you know I could really go for you in that tiny skirt of yours right now. make you bend over and fuck you while you’re still wearin’ it.” damn
✧ he’s a man of action. his texts are short and right to the point. “im gonna make you scream my name tonight, sweetheart. better be ready.”
✧ sends you something filthy right out of the blue. "you’re really makin' it hard for me to concentrate on work, baby. every time I close my eyes, all I can think about is the way you looked last night, riding me till you couldn’t walk.”
✧ if you send him a picture, especially if you’re in lingerie or something that shows just the right amount of skin, he goes wild. “WOAH, sweetheart. you’re gonna make me LOSE IT. I wanna tear that off you and fuck you right here RIGHTJ NOW.” the author's spelling has been preserved.
✧ a lot messages like: “tell me, doll, what color are those panties you got on right now?“
✧ but the minute you call him on his antics in person, he’s all cocky smirks and “ya can’t blame me for wantin’ to spoil my favorite girl, can ya?”
bonus
Stan: hey doll, you up?
You: it’s 1 AM Stan
Stan: exactly
Stan: perfect time to talk about what you’d look like on top of me
You: …smooth
Stan: c’mon don’t act all shy
Stan: you were thinkin’ it too. bet you’re wearin’ somethin’ cute right now, huh?
Stan: or nothin’. nothin’s good too! 👍👍👍
You: why are you always texting me at the most unholy hours?
Stan: unholy?? c’mon sweetheart i’m just here tryna spread a little late night joy
Stan: i was thinkin’ about you though
Stan: well. you. and about how that sweet little mouth of yours looked last night
You: oh my godd
Stan: what?! it’s the truth
Stan: bet you’d look even better right now
You: you’re horrible
Stan: and you’re fuckin’ gorgeous
Stan: now be a good girl and tell me what you’re wearin
You: literally in my pajamas Stan
Stan: cute
Stan: betcha look sweet all wrapped up in blankets… though you’d look sweeter wrapped around me instead
You: fuck
You: Stan!
Stan: what? i’m just bein’ honest. you want me to lie? fine! i’m thinkin’ about taxes. there. happy?
You: oh, shut up old man
Stan: nah i’d rather talk about how soft your thighs are. how they’d feel so good squeezin’ around my head. c’mon, sweetheart, gimme somethin’. don’t make me do all the heavy liftin’ here
You: only if you promise to return the favor
you smirk, biting your lip, already excited because god you love playing hard to get with this man. so you let the moment linger just long enough to make him squirm before snapping a photo, of course you were lying bout pajamas and Stan damn knew, he felt
you send the picture: lacy panties of your favourite colour barely covering anything, paired with an oversized sleep shirt that’s slipping off your shoulder
Stan: holy fuckin shit
Stan: you’re gonna make an old man’s heart give out
You: what, you don’t like it? :(
Stan: don’t like it? baby i’m gonna FRAME this picture and hang it on my wall
Stan: better yet i’m gonna print it out and carry it around so i can show off what’s mine
You: wtf that’s absurd
Stan: no what’s absurd is how hard i am right now. fuck, baby, you’re gorgeous. every inch of ya
You: your turn, old man
You: prove it
you don’t expect him to actually follow through, but then your phone buzzes
Stan: look at what you’re gonna get, babe. and it’s all yours
a photo. exactly what you imagined: poorly lit, shot from a slightly awkward angle, but still breathtaking and so damn hot. his cock is thick and heavy in his hand, flushed and glistening at the tip, veins are prominent, pulsing down the shaft, and his fingers, broad, calloused, strong, wrap around it like he’s ready to ruin you as he strokes himself
your mouth goes dry, you blink at the screen, your lip caught between your teeth. hell, you’ve seen him before, touched him, tasted him, but this photo is something else entirely. your fingers twitch like they want to reach through the phone because you’d crawl through the damn screen if you could
your fingers hover over the keys, trying to think of something clever to say, but the words won’t come. thighs clenching instinctively as you just stare at the screen.
You: okay, not bad, old man
Stan: NOT BAD?!
Stan: sweetheart, you’re lyin’ through your teeth. i know you’re sittin’ there soakin’ through those little lace panties of yours
You: please, you think one dick pic is enough to faze me
Stan: oh, is that right? big talk comin’ from someone who’s gonna be beggin’ for it by the end of this
You: you wish old man
Stan: nah I know. let me paint you a picture, sweetie
Stan: you, spread out under me, that pretty little pussy so wet i can hear it every time i slide in. your legs wrapped so tight around me like you’re scared i’m gonna pull away. and me, fillin’ you up so deep you can feel me in your fuckin’ throat
and there your smugness falters
You: oh god
You: Stan
Stan: what’s the matter?
Stan: cat got your tongue? betcha you’re soaked right now, huh? sittin’ there with that pretty little pussy all wet, wishin’ i was there to fill ya up
Stan: admit it, baby. your fingers aren’t even enough. you’re mine. every inch of you belongs to me and i’m gonna remind you of that the second i get my hands on ya
You: you’re not winning this old man
Stan: heh sweetheart, i already HAVE
your fingers fumble on the keyboard as you type, cheeks burning
You: please come
Stan: there you go, now that’s my girl
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ Ford Pines

✧ he starts out so awkward it’s painful. you’ll send him something suggestive, and he’ll reply with: “Oh. Well. That’s… intriguing.” Intriguing, Ford? seriously?
✧ as we all know, Ford overthinks everything! it takes him forever to hit send because he’s convinced he’ll say something wrong and he’s so fucking nervous
✧ but as soon as he feels comfortable, he’s sending you long, well thought out messages full of science-y talk about how he wants to make you feel, because of course he’s analyzing you in a way. “I’ve been reading up on the physiological responses of the body during… how should I put this?… intimate interactions. Your body would likely respond most positively to the—” and then he gets really filthy without realizing it
✧ but Ford, dear sweet Ford, doesn’t always realize just how much of an effect his words have on you. if he’ll start spouting off his deep thoughts, you’ll send him, “Ford, I swear to god, if you don’t stop talking, I’m going to need to change my sheets.
✧ absolutely loves when you tease him, but he also knows how to turn it back on you. “Good girl, now tell me exactly what you’d like me to do to you, in vivid detail. I’m taking notes.”
✧ "I’d have you on your knees, darling. Holding you by the hair while I take you deep, slow. You’d love every second of it, wouldn’t you?"
✧ Ford LOVES playing the “I’m going to ruin you slowly” card. It gets under your skin every time. “You won’t be able to think about anything else when I’m done with you. I’ll have you begging for more.”
✧ you’ll send him a flirty text and two minutes later, he’s sent back an entire paragraph detailing how he’d peel your clothes off and worship you from head to toe
✧ as I said, he’s so damn descriptive, I mean bro literally wrote 3 journals, it’s easy for him. “I’d kiss my way down your stomach, slow enough to make you squirm. My fingers would trace your thighs, spreading you open so I could take my time tasting you, savoring every—” you’re already screaming into your pillow
✧ surprisingly filthy when he gets really needy and horny. long messages about exactly what he wants to do to you or what he wants you to do to him
✧ Ford is a huge fan of getting into your mind before he even thinks about touching you. he wants to know what makes you tick, what gets you wet, what turns you on mentally first
✧ he tries to stay composed, but the second you tease him, his composure shatters. you send him a pic, maybe just a peek of your thighs and he’s breathless: “What are you doing to me, darling? Do you have any idea how hard I am right now? I can’t stop imagining those legs wrapped around me while I’m making love to you, God help me.”
✧ “i would love to feel the warmth of your skin beneath my fingers as I slowly undress you. I’ll start by trailing kisses down your neck, your chest, until I reach the sweet spot between your thighs. Would you let me do that, darling?”
✧ embarrassingly vocal about how much he needs you. you’ll get texts like:
“I can’t concentrate on anything. I keep thinking about how tight and wet you felt around me last night. We need to make love again.” and then, seconds later:
“Please tell me you’re touching yourself right now. I need to know you’re thinking about me while you do it.”
✧ “God, I’d give anything to have my cock inside you right now.”
✧ If you send him a spicy picture, he just about short-circuits. “You’re exquisite. I need to see more.”
✧ “You don’t even realize the effect you have on me, do you? I’d ruin you in the most wonderful ways, darling.” you’re a puddle in seconds.
✧ Ford loves when you’re explicit with him. if you’ll text him something like: “I want your cock so deep I forget my own name,” you’ll get: “Careful what you wish for, darling. I’ll have you screaming it by the time I’m done with you.”
✧ If you ever send him something too really dirty, all your fantasies and wishes, expect him to stare at your text, blink for a second, then type back: “That’s... unexpected. But I’m very intrigued. You must have an incredible imagination.”
✧ sometimes Ford gets real quiet after a particularly hot conversation, nervous even. “I shouldn’t have sent that… I’m sorry if I…”
“Ford, don’t you dare apologize. I love it.”
bonus
Ford: Are you still awake, darling?
You: what do you think?
Ford: Well, considering you’re answering me, I’d say yes. I must say, you’ve been a distraction all day, sweetheart. I just keep replaying the way your skin felt under my hands the last time we touched… the sounds you made when I kissed you, your thighs.
You: sounds like you’re the distracted one, Doctor Pines
Ford: You’re the most beautiful distraction imaginable. Entirely your fault.
you smirk at the screen as an idea strikes
You: how’s this for distracting?
you send the picture: legs spread wide, your pussy glistening under soft light with two fingers pressing yourself open just enough to expose everything. you know Ford’s obsessive attention to detail, the way he adores every curve and line of you. oh god he’ll lose his mind over this
but. . .
Ford doesn’t reply immediately. one minute. two now. the anticipation builds and your stomach twists.
You: …
You: Ford?
You: oh my god, say something!
You: was it too much? too forward?
five agonising minutes later, your phone lights up.
Ford: Darling… You are beautiful. Utterly perfect. Forgive my silence, I needed a moment to… compose myself.
You: five minutes of silence isn’t exactly reassuring, Ford
Ford: I assure you, I was not silent in my head.
You: damn
You: thought I broke you there
Ford: You nearly did. It’s taking all my willpower to stay coherent.
You: old man ur making me blush
Ford: I’m sorry! I wouldn’t dream of embarrassing you, my dear. I’d rather make you tremble with pleasure.
You: you really like it that much?
Ford: I’m obsessed, love. Now, listen carefully. Take those fingers, sweetheart. Slowly. I want you to trace circles around your little clit, soft and teasing. No rushing.
and of course you obey
You: im so sensitive rn Ford
Ford: Good, honey. Yeah, nice and slow.
You: like this?
Ford: Exactly like that. Does it feel good, darling? Tell me.
You: so good im already so wet for you
Ford: Good. Now, slide one of those fingers inside. Don’t go too deep yet. Just enough to feel it.
You: fuck, Ford
You: feels amazin
Ford: That’s my girl. Now, add another. Stretch yourself out for me, darling. I want you to imagine it’s my fingers instead. Feel how I’d curl my fingers to touch you just right, all your sweet spots. Don’t stop until I tell you to.
You: :((
Ford: Sweetheart? What’s wrong?
You: it’s not the same
You: you’ve got six fingers, i can’t make it feel like you
Ford: Ah, my darling… that’s terribly unfair of me, isn’t it? You’re right. No one else can touch you the way I can. But I promise, when I’m there, I’ll make it up to you tenfold. For now, let’s keep going. I want you to use your fingers, sweetheart. Make yourself feel good for me, pleasure yourself. Please. Slide them deep and tell me how it feels.

I read this first thing in the morning and I was invested.
It went for a cute little domestic time with the most adorable baby Max to angst in no time, I was not prepared !
But the angst was so good and seeing Alec in protector mode made me feel feelings
Nobody's touching the Lightwood-Bane family, I tell you.
Thank you so much for this beautiful present that I will cherish with all my heart ❤️🎄
Have a Merry Christmas too 🌟
Merry Christmas, @cam-ryt!
I hope you have a wonderful time over the holidays.
*****
Not On My Watch
Alec sighed as he sipped on his fourth coffee and it wasn’t even lunchtime yet. He downed the lukewarm liquid as his eyes ran over the files open on his desk. Alec worked for one of the biggest law firms in New York, and was one of their top lawyers, having never lost a case. As he was going over the files again, he grabbed a highlighter and started marking important sections. His client had been accused of something, they had clearly not done as there were multiple witness statements along with pictures and security footage that placed the man in another part of town when the crime was committed. Alec usually dealt with more serious cases and had been the reason a lot of criminals were now behind bars, but this man was a friend of Alec’s boss and the man put Alec on the case as a favour to his friend. Alec didn’t necessarily mind, he’d still do his best for the man, he just couldn’t quite figure out why no one was believing the evidence that they obviously had the wrong guy.
A small smile crossed Alec’s face when his phone pinged on the desk next to him and he saw his husband’s name. Alec had been married for seven years, and he always felt butterflies in his stomach when he saw or heard from his husband. Alec picked up his phone to look at the message and his heart beat happily in his chest. Magnus had sent a picture of their son covered in glitter.

Hello,
I have a request!!! But first a need to tell you that your works are masterpiece. Can you write please some Snape x reader. Something fluff. Maybe they’re talking about kids? What if Severus came up with idea, that he want a kid. (Severus is definitely a girl dad)
Thank you so much.❤️
I can say this basically wrote it itself. 😂
Severus is so Girl Dad it hurts in the best way possible!
so here you go I hope you enjoy.
A Future In His Eyes
The sun filtered softly through the lace curtains of the kitchen window, bathing the cozy cottage in a gentle golden glow. The scent of lavender and fresh thyme drifted in from the garden outside, mingling with the warm, comforting aroma of tea steeping in the pot and something sizzling gently on the stove.
You hummed under your breath, swaying slightly as you stirred a pan of eggs, wrapped in one of Severus' oversized sweaters—black, of course, and far too large for you, which made it perfect. Your bare feet padded across the wooden floor, warm from the fire burning low in the hearth behind you.
Severus sat nearby in his favorite armchair, a cup of Earl Grey in one hand and a worn, leather-bound book in the other. His long fingers absentmindedly traced the spine of the book as his eyes occasionally flicked over the top of it to watch you. He wouldn't admit it aloud—not yet—but the sight of you in his clothes, hair mussed by sleep, moving so comfortably in the home you'd built together… it did something to his chest he couldn’t quite name.
He took a sip of his tea, clearing his throat lightly. "You’ll set the bar impossibly high if you keep cooking breakfast like this."
You grinned over your shoulder. “So what I’m hearing is that I’m doing an excellent job.”
"Hmph," he muttered, turning a page, but the corner of his mouth twitched ever so slightly in the direction of a smile.
You plated the food with a flourish and brought it over to the small table near the fire. As you sat, Severus set his book aside and reached for the butter with a grace that was almost too elegant for something so mundane.
"You slept well?" he asked, his tone casual—but his eyes scanned your face with an attentiveness that gave him away.
“I did. You were extra cuddly last night,” you teased, poking his leg under the table with your toe.
He gave a soft snort and reached for his tea again. “Don’t be absurd.”
But he didn’t pull away when your foot nudged him again. In fact, his own leg gently pressed back.
For a few minutes, silence reigned, but it was the comfortable kind—the kind born of two people so used to each other's presence that words weren’t always needed.
And then, just as you reached to refill your tea, a knock sounded at the back door.
You glanced at Severus. “Expecting someone?”
He raised a brow. “We live in the middle of nowhere. Who would be mad enough to find us?”
You laughed softly and padded to the door, opening it to reveal your neighbor from down the lane, bouncing a chubby-cheeked baby girl on her hip.
“I’m so sorry to drop in unannounced,” she said quickly, “but my husband had a bit of an accident with a rake and I need to take him to St. Mungo’s—could you watch Emma for just a little while?”
Your heart melted at the sight of the baby gurgling happily in her arms. “Of course, just give her to me.”
And as you scooped the giggling baby into your arms, Severus watched from the hearth, utterly still, his tea forgotten in his hand.
There it was—that soft ache again. The one that settled behind his ribs as he watched you cradle the tiny child like it was the most natural thing in the world. The way you cooed and smiled, the way the baby giggled and reached for your nose.
He hadn’t expected it to hit him like this.
But it did. Hard.
And Merlin help him, for the first time in his life… Severus Snape began to wonder what it would be like to have something so small and perfect, not just visiting—but being his.
The general store in the village wasn’t exactly a bustling place—just a small, quaint shop with shelves of enchanted household items, sweets, and the occasional rack of baby supplies tucked in one corner. You and Severus had popped in to pick up some tea, parchment, and a new kettle after the last one exploded in a tragic experiment gone wrong (you did tell him not to add powdered bicorn horn, but would he listen?).
You were halfway through debating between two different types of enchanted parchment when you noticed something.
Severus was… gone.
Not far, of course. You spotted him a few aisles over, standing very, very still.
You tiptoed up behind him and peered around his shoulder.
Diapers. Bottles. Teething rings that chirped lullabies. Little onesies with stars that shimmered and moved across the fabric like constellations. And your intimidating, darkly-clad husband stood in front of them like he’d just been hit with a Confundus Charm.
You tilted your head, curious. “Sev?”
He blinked once. Twice. Then turned slightly to look at you.
“…They make booties this small?” he asked, almost to himself, holding up a pair that looked more like doll shoes than anything a real human could wear.
You blinked.
“Oh, we’re here now,” you whispered under your breath, fighting a grin.
“What?”
“Nothing,” you said, smiling softly as you wrapped an arm around his and leaned against his side. “Just enjoying watching you fall headfirst into baby fever.”
“I am not—” He cleared his throat. “I was merely… curious. About the… market.” His voice trailed off.
“Mmhmm. That’s why you’re holding a pink stuffed Puffskein and stroking its fur like it's already yours.”
Severus looked down at his hands and, indeed, found himself petting a plushie.
He promptly dropped it like it had burned him. “Hmph.”
That night, back at home, the fire crackled low in the hearth, and the wind whispered outside your bedroom window. You lay in bed, curled beneath thick blankets.
Severus joined you moments later, slipping beneath the covers with a sigh. He smelled like bergamot and a hint of cedarwood, fresh from a shower, his hair damp and loose around his shoulders.
You rolled over to face him, your nose brushing his as you smiled sleepily.
He looked at you for a long moment, quiet, unreadable. Then his hand moved under the covers and rested—tentatively, then deliberately—on your stomach.
You raised an eyebrow. “Severus?”
He didn’t look at you. His eyes were on your belly. Still unreadable, still so quiet. Like if he breathed too loudly, the moment would shatter.
Finally, in the softest voice you’d ever heard from him, he murmured:
“Do you think… we’d have a boy or a girl? Hypothetically of course”
You let out a huff before reaching up to brush a damp strand of hair from his cheek.
“I think… completely hypothetical it wouldn’t matter. As long as they had your eyes.”
That got him. His throat bobbed with emotion, and he leaned forward to press a kiss to your forehead. His hand didn’t move from your stomach.
And neither of you said anything more that night.
Because sometimes, the silence said everything.
The evening had settled like a warm blanket over your home, the fire in the hearth crackling low, casting golden light across the wooden floor and the rug where you and Severus sat together. The air smelled of clove and cinnamon from the tea still steaming on the side table, untouched.
You were curled up on the couch, legs tucked beneath you, your head resting lightly against Severus’ shoulder. He had one arm wrapped loosely around you, fingers drawing idle circles along your arm.
It was quiet— A shared stillness. A home built in love, not just walls.
But Severus… was fidgeting.
Not overtly, no. But you could feel the tension humming beneath his calm exterior. His fingers slowed. His breathing was measured—but a touch too deliberate.
“Sev?” you murmured, not lifting your head. “You’re thinking too loud.”
He huffed a soft breath, not quite a laugh. “Am I that obvious?”
“Only to me.”
He was silent again. Long enough that you lifted your head and looked at him, really looked. And there it was—something. In his eyes. A weight. A spark. A fear.
Your brow furrowed. “Hey… whatever it is, just say it. You know I won’t laugh.”
His gaze dropped to your lips, then to your hand resting on his chest. Then, finally, back to your eyes.
“I’ve been thinking,” he began, voice low, uncertain, “about what it means to have peace. Real peace. Not… survival. Not hiding.”
You nodded gently, sensing more beneath it.
He swallowed. “And with you… I’ve found it. I never thought I would. Not in this lifetime.”
Your chest warmed at the words, but you stayed quiet, letting him speak.
“I see you,” he said, voice rougher now, “holding that child. Smiling like that. Like… like you were made for it.” He paused. “And something in me—something I thought was long dead—wanted.”
Your breath caught.
“I want… that. With you.”
He looked away, ashamed almost. “I know it’s selfish. To want more. To want a child when we already have so much. But I do. I want a family. I want to see you with them, hear you laugh like that every day. I want to hold something—someone—we made together.”
Then, softer still:
“I never thought I’d be the sort to want this. But with you… it’s different. I want everything. Even the chaos. Especially the chaos.”
Your heart was aching, full to the brim, eyes stinging with tears you hadn’t realized were gathering.
You reached for his hand and placed it over your heart.
“I’ve been thinking about it too,” you whispered. “About us. About little feet running through this house. About a tiny version of you, scowling and adorable.”
He choked on a laugh, blinking rapidly.
“I want that future, Severus. With you. All of it.”
And just like that, the tension cracked. He pulled you into his arms, holding you like something precious, his face buried in your neck.
“I love you,” he murmured. “More than I’ve ever known how to say.”
“You just did,” you whispered back, pressing a kiss to his temple.
And with his arms wrapped around you, hearts pounding in quiet harmony, the future bloomed—brighter, warmer, and just a little more chaotic than either of you ever dreamed.
You hadn’t meant to hope—not really. But over the last few weeks, you’d found yourself lingering a little longer in the quiet moments. Holding your breath at every flutter in your stomach. Smiling softly at Severus whenever he absentmindedly reached for your hand, then hesitated… and gently laid it over your belly instead.
And now… you were here.
St. Mungo’s. Waiting room. Pale green walls. An enchanted fish tank bubbling softly in the corner. The faint scent of antiseptic and lavender.
Severus sat beside you, completely still—too still. His hand held yours, but his fingers twitched every so often, betraying the storm of nerves he would never speak of.
“They’re taking a while,” you said softly, more to fill the space than anything.
He didn’t answer right away. Then, in a low voice:
“They always take too long when it matters.”
Before you could reply, the door opened and the Healer stepped out, smiling warmly.
“Mr. and Mrs. Snape?”
You both stood in perfect sync.
“You can relax now,” she said, holding out a parchment. “Congratulations. You’re expecting.”
The words hit the air like a charm breaking—and Severus just… froze.
You squeezed his hand. “Sev…?”
His eyes were wide, mouth slightly parted, like he couldn’t quite understand what he’d just heard. Then—
He exhaled sharply, stepping closer to you, cupping your face with trembling hands. He searched your eyes as if needing confirmation it was real.
And then—he laughed. A choked, stunned, breathless little sound. You’d only heard it once or twice in your life. And this one was full of wonder.
You laughed too, eyes already wet. “Severus?”
“I… we… we’re going to have a baby,” he whispered, voice thick with emotion.
You pulled him close and as you held him, you felt him whisper against your neck:
“Thank you.”
—
You were barely showing—of course not, it had only been a few weeks. But that didn’t stop Severus from hovering around you like a fiercely protective, newly spellbound guardian.
You sat on the couch in your sleep clothes, sipping a bit of calming tea, when he knelt in front of you and gently pressed his forehead against your belly.
It was the softest thing.
No words. Just breath and reverence.
Then a kiss.
Then another.
And another—slow, reverent, as if your body had become sacred in his eyes.
“You haven’t even met us yet,” he murmured to the small, growing life inside you, “and I already love you more than anything.”
You ran your fingers through his hair, tears threatening again.
“We’re going to be okay,” you whispered. “All three of us.”
He looked up at you then—eyes shining, soul laid bare.
“I will protect you both with everything I have,” he said quietly. “I swear it.”
And in that moment, with the fire casting golden light over the both of you, Severus Snape became something he never believed he could be:
Hopeful.
—
The contractions had come slowly at first. A cramp. A twinge. You tried to downplay it, sipping tea by the window, casually noting the frequency in a little notebook.
But the moment you gave a sharp inhale and gripped the edge of the table—that was when Severus went into full-fledged panic-mode-disguised-as-calm.
“We’re going. Now,” he said, already summoning your hospital bag and wrapping a blanket around your shoulders like you were a porcelain doll.
“I can walk, Severus—”
“Absolutely not.”
The floo flared green, and within seconds, you were at St. Mungo’s, Severus pacing the maternity ward like a caged beast while Healers calmly led you through the early stages.
But the moment they told him he could come back, he flew through the door.
Hours passed.
It was agony and beauty all wrapped into one. You gripped his hand through each contraction, your face buried in his shoulder, your voice sometimes cracking with pain.
And Severus—stoic, battle-hardened Severus—was just there.
He whispered soft encouragements, wiped sweat from your brow, pressed kisses to your knuckles like talismans.
“You’re doing so well, love. Just a little more.”
“I’m here. I’m not leaving you.”
“You are… magnificent.”
And then—the cry.
A sharp, shuddering wail split the air.
Your head dropped back, breath stolen with exhaustion and relief as the Healers moved quickly, efficiently.
You caught only a glimpse—a tiny, wriggling, pink little thing wrapped in a soft green blanket—before they turned to Severus.
“Would you like to hold your Daughter, Mr. Snape?”
For a moment, he didn’t move. Just stared.
Then, with hands that trembled more than they ever had in his darkest days, he reached out.
And the moment his daughter was placed in his arms… Severus Snape broke.
He cried.
Right there, your brilliant, brooding, former Potions Master husband cried—quietly, helplessly, tears slipping down his cheeks as he stared down at her, his lips parted in silent wonder. His long fingers curled protectively around her.
“She…” His voice caught.
“She does have my eyes,” he whispered.
You smiled, exhausted and glowing. “And your hair too.”
He let out a soft, choked laugh. “Poor thing.”
He turned to you, eyes filled with a love so complete it almost hurt to look at.
“I’ve never… I didn’t know I could feel this,” he breathed.
And then he was beside you again, carefully lowering himself so the three of you were close—his arm around you, the baby nestled between you both.
Your tiny daughter blinked up at her parents, making a soft cooing sound.
“She’s perfect,” you whispered, kissing Severus' jaw.
And with you in his arms, and his daughter on his chest, Severus Snape—former spy, former war hero, forever your husband—held his whole world.
—
Sunlight streamed through the open windows of your cottage, warm and golden, dancing across the wooden floors and the wildflower bouquet Severus had picked that morning—though he claimed it was for "her," you knew it was for both of you.
Laughter echoed through the house. Tiny, high-pitched laughter.
You stood in the kitchen, sipping tea, when you heard the unmistakable sound of padded little feet scampering unevenly across the floor.
“Dada!”
Severus turned from his armchair, instantly alert, wand forgotten on the table, potions notes abandoned. His entire world toddled toward him in a flurry of mismatched socks and raven curls that refused to stay tamed.
She crashed into his legs and immediately reached up with grabby little hands. “Up!”
He scooped her up without hesitation, holding her high above his head as she shrieked with joy.
“You’re going to give your dada a heart attack,” he said sternly—but his voice was filled with adoration, and his smile was uncontainable.
You leaned against the doorframe, heart full to bursting as you watched him spin her in a slow, careful circle.
“I think she gets that chaos streak from you,” he muttered over her head.
“I think you’re secretly delighted by it,” you shot back with a grin.
He huffed—but didn’t argue.
Later, after a whirlwind of toys, half-eaten snacks, and an enchanted lullaby mobile casting gentle stars across the ceiling, your daughter had finally fallen asleep in her crib. Her little hand still gripped a plush bat (one of his ideas), and her chest rose and fell in peaceful rhythm.
You leaned into Severus, both of you standing at the doorway, watching her sleep. His arm slid around your waist, drawing you close.
“She’s getting so big,” you whispered, head resting on his shoulder.
He kissed the top of your hair and let out a soft breath.
“She’s everything.”
You turned to him, smiling. “She really is.”
There was a pause.
And then—
“I want another one.”
You blinked, lips parting. “You… what?”
He looked completely serious. A little nervous. A little too hopeful.
“I know it’s mad. I know things are chaotic and loud and I barely remember what silence feels like anymore. But…” He looked back at the crib, softer than ever. “There’s room in this house. There’s room in me.”
You stared at him, stunned… then smiling so hard your cheeks hurt.
“Are you asking because you want a baby, or because you miss me waddling around and blaming you for my cravings?”
He snorted, pulling you in tighter. “Both.”
And right there, in the dim, quiet nursery—with lullabies humming and starlight dancing across the walls—you laughed into his chest, your heart full of everything you never even knew you’d dreamed of.
You looked up at him, eyes shining. “Then let’s make some more chaos.”
And Severus smiled down at you like you hung the moon.

Bucky stopped the car abruptly in front of an outdoor gear shop, cutting the engine with a purposeful click. He turned to you, his intense blue eyes meeting your confused expression. “We’re stopping here.”
“What are you doing?” you asked, shifting uncomfortably in your seat, your hands smoothing the delicate fabric of your wedding dress.
“You need to change your clothes,” he said, his voice calm but firm.
You crossed your arms defiantly, leaning back into the car seat. “No.”
He exhaled, pinching the bridge of his nose as if summoning patience. “Do you really want to go skydiving in that dress?”
You looked down at the intricate gown you wore—a masterpiece of lace and silk, designed by a famous designer and stitched by twenty skilled hands. It was beautiful, the one thing about this doomed wedding you truly appreciated. “This dress is stunning.”
“It is,” Bucky agreed, stepping out of the car with a smooth, deliberate motion. He shut the door with a firm thud and walked around to your side. His leather boots crunched against the gravel as he moved. “But it doesn’t say anything about you.”
Your brow furrowed as he opened your door. He leaned down slightly, his posture commanding but his tone gentle. “The dress owns you, not the other way around.” He extended his hand.
You hesitated, your fingers brushing against his hand before accepting his help. His grip was warm and steady as he helped you out of the car.
Together, you walked into the shop. The heavy door creaked as it swung open, and a bell jingled above. Heads turned immediately. Customers and employees froze mid-motion, their eyes widening at the sight of you in your elaborate wedding gown.
You felt the weight of their stares, instinctively clutching the skirt of your dress. Your cheeks flushed, but Bucky walked confidently ahead, completely unbothered. His broad shoulders cut through the crowd as he scanned the racks with a laser focus.
“Here.” He plucked a practical outfit from the racks and handed it to you with a decisive motion. “Put this on.”
You held the outfit at arm’s length, giving it a skeptical once-over. “Who’s paying for this?” you asked, raising an eyebrow. “I didn’t bring my wallet—or anything, for that matter.”
“Me,” he said simply, adding a pair of sturdy shoes to your pile without even checking the price tag.
Your brows shot up in disbelief. “Since when are you so generous? The Bucky I know pinches pennies.”
His lips curved into a small smirk, a glint of amusement in his eyes. “I’m rich,” he said, pointing to himself.
“You?” You folded your arms, tilting your head at him, clearly unconvinced.
“Yes, me,” he replied, leaning closer until his face was inches from yours. His voice dropped to a low murmur. “Now go change. We’re on a tight schedule.”
He stepped back and gestured toward the fitting rooms. You sighed dramatically but did as he asked. Inside the small, dimly lit room, you carefully slipped out of the wedding dress, taking your time to fold it neatly. Despite everything, you still hoped to return it. The new outfit fit perfectly, even the shoes, though you wondered how he’d known your size so precisely.
When you stepped out, Bucky was waiting, leaning casually against a rack of jackets. His eyes lit up as he saw you, and he gave you a playful double thumbs-up. “Much better,” he said, his voice warm.
You hugged the wedding dress to your chest. “What should I do with this? I want to return it.”
“Give it to me,” he said, stepping forward. His gloved hand brushed yours as he took the dress. “I’ll have someone deliver it to the church. Trust me.”
You hesitated, your fingers lingering on the fabric before letting it go. “Okay,” you said, though doubt flickered in your eyes.
“Now go pick out a jacket,” he said, his tone lighter as he nudged you gently toward another section of the store.
As you walked away, Bucky’s smile faded. He pulled out his phone and murmured something low and quick. Minutes later, a man appeared, dressed in an unassuming black jacket. Bucky handed him the wedding dress without a word. The man gave a curt nod and disappeared as quickly as he had arrived.
“Take it to goodwill. Now,” Bucky muttered, his eyes darting to where you were browsing jackets. “Don’t let her see you.”
“Sir…” A timid voice interrupted him. A young part-time employee stood nearby, her wide eyes darting nervously between him and the now-absent wedding dress. “Why… why was she wearing a wedding dress?”
Bucky turned his head slightly, his expression unreadable. A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. “Life’s complicated,” he said, his tone leaving no room for further questions.
“I’m ready,” you said, returning with a jacket in hand. He turned to you, his smirk softening into something warmer as he helped you slip it on.
“Perfect,” he said. With a hand lightly resting on your lower back, he guided you toward the exit.
As the two of you left, the employees gathered near the counter, their voices hushed but urgent.
“Why was she wearing a wedding dress?” one whispered.
“I don’t know, but they didn’t seem like strangers,” another replied.
Then the television behind the counter blared a breaking news alert. “Bride-to-be of the Jordan heir kidnapped on her wedding day!” Your photo flashed across the screen. Gasps filled the room.
“Oh my God, it’s her!” a cashier exclaimed. “And that guy—he’s her kidnapper?”
“They seemed… close, though?”
“Should we call the news?"
Unbeknownst to you, the breaking news of your disappearance was plastered across headlines. But you and Bucky were completely oblivious as you headed to the skydiving site, the tension between you giving way to cautious curiosity.
In the car, you stole a glance at him. His hands gripped the steering wheel casually, his jaw set with a quiet determination. Finally, you broke the silence. “Where have you been all this time, Bucky?”
He didn’t look at you right away. Instead, his lips quirked into a small, almost mischievous smile. “Around.”
“Around?” You raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. “That’s not an answer.”
“I’ve been... working.” His voice was deliberately vague, but the slight tilt of his head as he glanced at you hinted at something more. “Made some money.”
You frowned. “Made some money how?”
“Does it matter?” he asked, brushing off your question with a shrug. “I’m here now, aren’t I?”
Before you could press further, the car pulled to a stop at the skydiving facility. The sight of the towering hangar and parachutes on display made your stomach flip. Your hands clenched into fists at your sides as you stepped out, staring at the planes in the distance.
“This was on your bucket list, wasn’t it?” Bucky said, walking up beside you. His voice was teasing, but his eyes held a knowing gleam.
“Yeah, but…” You glanced nervously at the sky. “That doesn’t mean I’m ready.”
“You’ll be fine,” he said, clapping a hand on your shoulder. His touch was warm and steady, grounding you despite the nerves swirling in your stomach.
Inside the hangar, you were fitted with a jumpsuit and harness, your nervousness growing with each passing moment. Bucky, already suited up, looked completely at ease, his confidence almost irritating.
On the plane, the hum of the engine filled the cabin. You sat next to Bucky, your fingers fidgeting with the straps of your harness. The plane vibrated slightly as it ascended, and your anxiety reached a peak.
“Wait…” You looked over at him, realizing something. “Why am I being tied to you?”
Bucky smirked, securing the straps that connected the two of you. “Because I’m already a certified instructor.”
“What?” Your eyes widened. “Since when?”
“Now.” He grinned just as the plane door opened, and without another word, he jumped, pulling you along with him.
“KYA!!” You screamed as the wind roared in your ears. Your stomach dropped as the world below turned into a blur of blue and green.
“Relax!” Bucky’s voice cut through the wind, calm and steady. “This is skydiving, Y/N!”
You squeezed your eyes shut, clutching at the straps holding you to him. “This is terrifying!” you yelled back, your voice shaky.
“Open your eyes!” he said, his tone softening. “Look around.”
Tentatively, you did. The endless expanse of sky stretched in every direction, the sun casting a golden glow over the clouds. It was breathtaking. The fear ebbed away, replaced by a quiet awe. The wind carried you like a whisper, and for a moment, it felt like freedom.
“It’s beautiful,” you murmured, your voice barely audible over the wind.
Bucky smiled, though you couldn’t see it. “Told you.”
Moments later, he deployed the parachute. The sudden jolt made you gasp, but then everything slowed. You floated gently toward the earth, the view below growing clearer with every passing second.
When your feet finally touched the ground, you stumbled a bit, your legs still shaky. Bucky steadied you, his hands firm on your arms.
“That was cool, wasn’t it?” he asked, his grin boyish and triumphant.
You glared at him, your chest heaving. Then, without warning, you shoved him hard. “You jerk! You scared me to death!”
Bucky chuckled, holding up his hands in mock surrender. “What? You survived, didn’t you?”
“You didn’t even warn me!” You jabbed a finger into his chest, which he didn’t even flinch at.
“Hey, I did tell you I was certified,” he said, still grinning.
“Certified idiot, maybe!” you shot back, crossing your arms.
He laughed at that, leaning closer. “But you had fun, admit it.”
“Fun isn’t the word I’d use!” you said, but the corners of your lips betrayed a small smile.
“You’re welcome,” he said smugly, clearly enjoying himself.
Before you could respond, a sharp voice cut through the air. “Y/N!”
Both of you froze mid-banter, turning toward the source of the voice. Your eyes widened as you saw a familiar figure storming toward you.
“Clark?” you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
Clark didn’t stop. His face was a storm of fury, his fists clenched at his sides. Without hesitation, he swung, landing a punch squarely on Bucky’s jaw.
Bucky staggered back but caught himself quickly, his head snapping toward Clark with a cold, steely glare. His tongue darted out to swipe at the corner of his mouth, checking for blood.
“Nice to meet you too,” Bucky said, his voice low and sardonic.

Present Day
“Oh my God! He hit you?” Jade exclaimed, her eyes wide as she leaned forward in disbelief.
“Yeah.” Bucky shrugged nonchalantly, rubbing his jaw as if recalling the punch. A faint smirk tugged at his lips. “I let him have that one.”
Jade tilted her head, her expression skeptical. “Then what happened? Did Mom follow him?”
Bucky leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. His gaze grew distant for a moment, as though replaying the memory. Finally, he met Jade’s eyes, his smirk widening.
“Well… that’s the end part of the story,” he said, his tone teasing, leaving her hanging on the edge of her seat.
Jade groaned, throwing her hands in the air. “Seriously, Dad?”

The faint hum of the car does nothing to soothe your nerves. If anything, it only serves as a reminder of today’s plans, the source of your anxiety. You sit in the driver’s seat, the plane tickets trembling slightly in your hands. You glance toward the house—the lights shining through the bedroom window suggests he woke up. You exhale slowly, staring at the tickets again.
This isn’t how you imagined your vacation. This was supposed to be your time to recharge, to take a step back from the chaos of work, but instead, you’re about to board a plane to a place you hadn’t even known existed. All because you couldn’t stay behind.
The irony isn’t lost on you. Hunters aren’t passive. The words you planned to say to him when he sees you holding up the tickets, rehearsed in your head with all the conviction you could muster. But now, sitting here in the quiet, you can’t help but wonder if bravery is just a mask for recklessness.
Would it really have been so terrible to let him go alone this time?
Your gaze drifts to the empty passenger seat.
Did he expect you to follow him?
You glance at your reflection in the rear-view mirror, the faint circles under your eyes a proof to the sleepless nights that have become all too familiar. Staying behind would’ve meant another string of those nights—lying awake, staring at the ceiling, wondering if he was alive, injured, or worse.
But this... this is no better.
The front door of the house creaks open, and you sit up straighter. Sylus steps out, his tall frame moving with its usual confidence, his silver hair catching the early light. He looks like he always does—calm, in control, untouchable. And you’re supposed to be the same.
⋆ ˚。 ⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。 ⋆
The room is dimly lit, the single overhead bulb flickering faintly like it might give out at any moment. The walls are bare, the furniture is sparse and the air is heavy. The faint metallic tang of blood lingers, mixing with the sharp bite of antiseptic.
Sylus sits on one of the chairs, his long legs sprawled out in front of him, his shirt discarded and tossed over the backrest. Blood-stained rags lie on the table beside him. His torso is marred with fresh cuts and bruises, deep gashes standing out against the taut muscle of his abdomen. You kneel in front of him, wrapping clean bandages around his ribs. Your forearm is already bandaged—a sloppy, hurried job. He’d insisted you patch yourself up first, his tone leaving no room for argument.
The quiet between you is oppressive. The only sound is the rustle of bandages and the faint hum of the overhead light.
Sylus watches you carefully. Usually, by now, you’d be berating him for getting hurt, but he knows that you always mask your worry with irritation. Or you’d be recounting the mission in vivid detail, your energy buzzing with lingering adrenaline. But tonight, you’re silent, your gaze focused on the task at hand, not meeting his.
“You’re quiet tonight.” he says.
You don’t look at him, your fingers securing the bandage. “I’m tired,” you reply curtly, your voice flat.
It’s a half-truth, and you both know it. He stays still, letting you finish your work, though his gaze never wavers.
Your mind won’t stop racing. The mission plays over and over in your head, the close calls, the mistakes, the weight of Sylus’ injuries.
“There.” you say quietly, standing up and turning away to gather the discarded rags and put them into a plastic bag, your back to him as you fight to steady your breathing.
Behind you, Sylus shifts slightly in the chair, his eyes following you.
“You handled everything well.” he says, his tone soft, almost coaxing. “Better than well. You were incredible out there.”
You freeze mid-motion, your fingers still gripping the bag. You swallow hard, trying to stifle the frustration bubbling in your chest, but it’s too late. When you turn to face him, your expression betrays you.
Sylus raises an eyebrow, his head tilting slightly as he studies you. “What’s that look for?” he asks with the faintest hint of amusement in his voice.
You take a step closer, arms crossing over your chest. “Sylus, we barely made it out. I don’t think anything about this is ‘incredible’.”
His lips quirk in a wry smile. “A few scratches. I’ve had worse.”
That does it. “Wha - Do you even hear yourself? ‘A few scratches’?!”
His smirk falters, replaced by a flicker of confusion, but he doesn’t interrupt.
“You didn’t even want me to know about this mission!” you continue, your voice rising. “I had to dig through your phone, beg my colleague for help, buy plane tickets, and then throw myself into danger just to keep up with you!”
Sylus’ jaw tightens, but his gaze stays fixed on you.
“And now you’re sitting here, acting like this is normal, like this is fine. Like it’s okay that we’re both bandaged up in the middle of nowhere!”
You don’t realize your hands are trembling until you feel the sting of your nails digging into your palms. Sylus stands, almost carefully stepping closer to you.
“I didn’t want you to get hurt.” he says, his voice low but firm.
“Too late for that,” you snap, your breath coming faster now. “Do you have any idea how exhausting this is? How much I—”
You cut yourself off, your throat too dry to continue. Your chest heaves, your heart pounding as you glare at him.
Sylus stays silent for a moment, his eyes searching yours. Then he speaks. “You didn’t have to come with me. You could’ve stayed behind.”
A bitter laugh escapes you. “Stayed behind? And what? Spent another week staring at the ceiling, wondering if you’re dead or alive?” You take in a shaky breath. “I didn’t come because I wanted to, Sylus. I came because the alternative was worse. It’s always worse.”
His expression falters for a split second, a flicker of something—surprise? Hurt?—crossing his face before it hardens again. “I knew you could handle it. I’ve always seen you as capable—more than capable.”
“And that’s part of the problem!” you fire back, your voice trembling now. “You always expect me to be right there, don’t you? Always catching up, always bending my life to fit yours. Do you know how exhausting that is?”
For the first time, Sylus doesn’t have a ready response. The argument stumbles into silence. The adrenaline of your frustration fades, leaving behind an aching exhaustion.
“I can’t keep doing this, Sylus,” you say quietly. “I can’t keep choosing you over everything else. Over my own sanity. Over my own life. I need to be on my own.”
His expression doesn’t change, but your eyes know his too well to be deceived – you know your words hurt him. He doesn’t argue, though. Instead, he steps toward you. You don’t pull away as he stops in front of you, his fingers brushing gently over your cheek. His touch is so tender that it takes everything in you not to lean into it.
“You’ll always have a place with me.” he murmurs.
His words pierce straight through you, and your chest tightens as you see the quiet acceptance in his gaze that makes it so much harder to walk away. Your throat constricts, but you manage a small nod. Stepping back, you feel the loss of his touch immediately, a hollow ache spreading through you as you turn to leave.

Returning to work feels refreshing. That’s what you tell yourself. You smile through the questions about your bandaged forearm - “Just a stupid accident.” you brush them off with a rehearsed laugh and no one presses.
You take every mission they throw your way. You linger in the office long after everyone has left their desks, filing reports and analyzing cases until your eyes burn. When you’re not at work, you’re training. You work your body until your muscles shake, until your lungs burn. Exhaustion becomes your companion, the only thing that lets you collapse into bed.
And when you give your muscles a breather, you throw yourself into social plans. Nights at the bar with friends blur together into a haze of laughter and drinks. You keep the conversation light, deflecting whenever someone asks about your love life.
But you can’t always stop your mind from wandering.
On your walks through the city, where you tell yourself you’re just stretching your legs, just enjoying the scenery, the truth peeks through. You’re looking for him. A glint of silver hair in the crowd, the flutter of dark feathers overhead—anything that might mean Sylus is nearby. But he never is.
The frustration comes in waves, sharp and bitter. Sometimes it’s anger at him—for the secrecy, for the danger he seemed so at ease with. Other times, it’s anger at yourself. For following him. For leaving him. For caring so damn much. And yet, no matter how busy you keep yourself, the memories slip through the cracks. The way he’d call you ‘kitten’ in that smooth tone. The glint in his eyes when he teased you. The softness in them in the quiet moments. How he made you feel like you were the only person who truly mattered to him.
As the days pass, the routine becomes second nature. You throw yourself into missions, into nights out, into silence. The wound on your arm heals, but others linger. And no matter how much you try to move forward, his shadow remains.
⋆ ˚。 ⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。 ⋆
You lie in your bed, staring at the ceiling faintly illuminated by the light of the tablet beside you. It’s paused on some show you weren’t really watching. The air feels heavy tonight. You pull the blanket tighter around your shoulders, as if it could shield you from the thoughts creeping in, from the memories you’ve spent all day trying to push away.
Your focus is pulled towards your phone lying face down on the nightstand. You tell yourself to ignore it, to roll over and let sleep take you. But before you can stop yourself, you’re reaching for it.
The screen lights up, the harsh glow making you squint. Your tired eyes take a moment to adjust, before your finger taps the messaging app. You shouldn’t. You know you shouldn’t look for his name. But tonight, you can’t help it.
Tapping the thread, the messages he sent a week or two ago fill the screen.
“The flower finally bloomed.” [Attached: A photo of a vibrant red flower, its petals unfurling.]
You skim through the words you’d typed in response.
“It’s beautiful.”
Further down, there’s another message—a photo of the same flower, wilted and curling in on itself. “Guess I should’ve expected this.”
You never replied to that one.
You scroll up, searching for happier times. Your thumb slows as you reach an older picture—one of the two of you. Sylus has your cheeks squished in his big hand, your face pouting in mock annoyance. Your eyes linger on his face. You gaze at his soft, genuine smile – an expression only you had the privilege to see.
And then there’s the voice note.
Your finger hovers over the play button, your chest tightening as you debate whether to listen. You remember the moment clearly—Sylus had sent it during one of his missions. You press play - his voice is quieter than usual, but the smile in his tone is obvious:
“I’ll be back soon, kitten. Don’t get too comfortable without me.”
Your vision blurs as tears gather in your eyes, spilling over before you can stop them. Pulling the blankets tighter around yourself, you press your face into the pillow, letting the tears fall freely.
You lie there in the dim light, the sound of your own breathing filling the room as sleep creeps up on you. The tears dry slowly on your lashes, but the ache in your chest doesn’t fade.
Eventually, exhaustion wins.

Your breath fogs in the chilly air as you step outside a corner store, clutching a pack of noodles like a prize. You glance at the time on your phone and sigh. It’s late. Too late, actually, to be out in the cold hunting down instant noodles. But the craving wouldn’t leave you alone, not after the day you’ve had.
It had started early. You’d dragged yourself out of bed and decided to keep busy— run errands, go to the gym, deep clean the apartment. A pampering routine followed. Scrubbing the grime of the day away in a shower, leaving your skin soft and your mind momentarily calm. Wrapped in your fluffiest robe, smelling like heaven, you’d almost felt good.
Then the craving had started sometime after dinner. A silly little craving for a specific flavor of noodles you thought you had in your kitchen. You opened the cabinet and couldn’t find it, but you were determined, so you threw on a sweater and a pair of leggings and stepped out. The impulse led you further away from you building since your corner store didn’t have them.
Now, here you are.
You pass by the small park near your apartment, and your thoughts are more on getting home than on your surroundings.
But something catches your eye.
A figure with silver strands illuminated under the soft glow of a streetlamp. Your feet falter, your pulse quickening as your gaze zeroes in on him. Sylus.
He’s there, at the park, crouching with his arm extended toward a stray cat that eyes him warily. The sight is so achingly familiar —his careful, as-patient-as-possible approach, the way he stays still, letting the animal come to him. You don’t realize you’re staring, too focused on watching the scene unfold. The cat inches closer, sniffing cautiously at his outstretched hand. He murmurs something low, his voice too soft to hear from this distance. The sight is so disarming, so tender, that your chest tightens.
Slowly, you take a step forward, then another, careful not to startle the skittish animal. You approach from the side, your heart racing faster with each step. He must’ve sensed you before he sees you because his head tilts slightly, his attention shifting from the cat to you. His eyes meet yours, widening slightly in surprise. For a moment, neither of you speaks. The cat darts away, but you barely register it.
Sylus straightens to his full height.
“It’s been a while.” he says softly.
For a moment, you’re lost in his eyes – the tenderness his mesmerizing eyes hold when they’re on you. You slightly shake your head as you catch yourself staring, your brain scrambling for a teasing remark, “I didn’t think you’d actually get the cat to—”
Your voice falters when you notice the cat again. It’s sitting a few feet away in the shadows, watching you and Sylus with wide eyes.
“Sorry,” you murmur. “I think I scared it off.”
Sylus chuckles. “Don’t worry. I just wanted to feed it anyway.”
True to his words, he reaches into the pocket of his jacket and pulls out a small can of tuna. He crouches again, flipping open the lid with ease. His eyes flick to your hands.
“Still on the hunt for those, I see.” he teases, nodding toward the noodles you’d been craving.
You chuckle, about to reply, when the faintest frown crosses his features. Your eyes dart to his hands, and you notice the thin red line on his finger, a bead of blood welling at the tip.
“You cut yourself.” you say with tone sharper than you intended.
“It’s fine.” he replies casually.
Sylus places the can on the ground before stepping back to let the timid cat approach. As expected, the cat approaches, its tiny nose twitching as it investigates the food. You’re about to smile at the sight, but your focus snaps back to him when you catch the bead of blood rolling down his finger. Before you even think about it, you step closer and reach for his hand.
“Let me see.” you say softly, taking his hand in yours.
His fingers are cool, the faint roughness of his skin familiar under your touch. You tilt his hand, inspecting the small cut. Sylus doesn’t say a word, but you feel the weight of his gaze on you, the way his red eyes soften as he watches you carefully inspect the cut.
You clear your throat, letting go of his hand. “It’s not bad.” you murmur. “But it should be cleaned. And you’ll need a band-aid.” You glance around, as if a store might magically stay open just for you, but the quiet streets and locked doors tell you otherwise. Before you can stop yourself, the words slip out:
“You should come to my apartment.”
The moment the invitation leaves your lips, you freeze, realizing what you’ve just said. A habit developed of all the times you’ve patched him up before. And it still hasn’t died, no matter how much distance you’ve tried to put between you.
For a second, neither of you says anything. The cat crunches happily on its meal, oblivious to the sudden tension in the air.
Sylus tilts his head, studying you, then shrugs lightly. “If you’re offering.”
You nod, more to yourself than to him, convincing yourself it’s no big deal. He’ll come up, you’ll clean the cut, and he’ll leave. That’s it.
⋆ ˚。 ⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。 ⋆
Even though you were in your apartment minutes ago, now it feels completely different with Sylus standing in your entryway. You catch how he glances around, his eyes taking in every detail. Then he notices a particular pair of slippers near the door, and you quietly nudge them toward him with your foot.
“These are yours.” you murmur.
Without a word, he slips off his shoes and slides into the slippers.
You motion for him to sit on the sofa while you retrieve the first aid kit from the bathroom. When you return, Sylus is already seated, relaxed as always, his eyes following your every move. Sitting beside him, you set the kit on the coffee table and take his hand in yours again. You focus intently on cleaning the small cut on his finger, trying to ignore the awkward silence. The alcohol wipe stings, and his hand twitches slightly, but he doesn’t pull away. You press the band-aid over the wound carefully, your fingers lingering a moment longer than necessary.
"There," you murmur softly. "All done."
But neither of you moves. His hand lingers in yours, and when you glance up, his gaze is already on you. Sylus shifts slightly, leaning forward just enough to brush his knee against yours. He lifts his free hand, his knuckles grazing your cheek.
His voice, low and soft, breaks the silence. "Can I hug you?"
Your chest tightens, the lump forming in your throat almost unbearable, but you nod, and it’s all the invitation he needs. Sylus shifts closer, his arms wrapping around you carefully, as though you might slip away if he moves too fast. The warmth of him envelops you as you rest your hands on his back, your cheek pressing against the soft fabric of his shirt, taking in his scent. You press your lips tightly, willing yourself to remain calm, but a single tear escapes, trailing down your cheek before soaking into his shirt. Sylus holds you tighter, his hand moving slowly, soothing you. Neither of you speaks, the silence filled only with the faint sound of your breathing and the distant hum of the city outside.
When you finally pull back, his hands linger on your waist. His touch is light, uncertain whether you’ll allow him to keep holding you. His eyes trace the faint streak of wetness on your cheek, and with unbearable tenderness, his thumb brushes it away.
Your gaze flickers downward, just for a moment. A fleeting glance at his lips. But it’s long enough for him to notice.
With a quiet inhale, his thumb drifts, trailing from your cheek to your jaw, then lower—grazing your bottom lip. He hesitates there, his fingers barely pressing against your skin.
His eyes search yours before he asks, “Can I kiss you?”
Your breath hitches, your heart hammering in your chest. A quiet sound escapes you—a barely audible hum of approval, “Mhm.”
He exhales, relief flickering in his eyes. The corners of his lips twitch, just slightly, before he slowly, carefully, leans in.
His lips brush softly against yours, your breaths mingling. His hands slide up your back, pulling you closer. You feel the faint tremble in his fingers as they press into the fabric of your sweater. Without thinking, your hands reach for him—trailing over his shoulders, up the curve of his neck, until your fingers slip into the softness of his hair. A low, faint hum escapes his throat, vibrating against your lips.
When he pulls back, just enough to break the kiss, his forehead rests against yours. His breath fans across your face, warm and uneven.
“You have no idea how much I’ve missed you.” he’s whispers, “I thought I could give you space, let you find peace without me, but—” His jaw tightens briefly, the muscles flexing as he searches for the words. “But every day felt wrong. I left a part of myself with you, and I don’t know how to be without it.”
His hands slide down to your waist, “I don’t know if I should ask you this, but - ” his gaze locks onto yours. “Can I stay a little longer?”
The lump in your throat doesn’t let up. You know why you left – how keeping up with his lifestyle has taken a toll on your mind and body. But you also know that the man, whose eyes are filled with adoration and reverence as he waits for your answer, is the sanctuary for your heart.
You nod, “I would like that.” You take in a shaky breath, your hands settling on his neck.
Sylus stills for a second, like he needs to make sure he heard you right. His grip on your waist tightens, and his breath hitches when you’re the one who closes the distance. He angles your face gently in his hands, his palms warm against your skin. His thumbs brush featherlight strokes along your cheekbones as he deepens the kiss. As though memorizing the shape of your lips, the taste of your mouth, the way you melt against him. Then his hands find your waist again, pulling you closer until the hard plane of his chest presses against yours. You feel the faint shudder in his breathing, the tension in his body, like he’s holding himself back despite the way his lips devour yours. You sink into the kiss, your nails lightly grazing the back of his neck, feeling the way his breath hitches at your touch. But the hunger builds—his kisses growing deeper, needier.
His hand slides down, finding your thigh, his palm searing through the thin fabric of your leggings, the touch making your breath stutter as liquid heat pools low in your belly.
Sylus exhales sharply. “Tell me if this is too much.” he murmurs against your lips. His thumb strokes your thigh in small, soothing circles, a contrast to the possessive grip of his other hand still anchored to your waist.
You shake your head, pulling him back in. “It’s not,” you whisper, though deep down, there’s a flicker of hesitation.
Of course, he notices. He always does. He leans back slightly, just enough to meet your eyes. “We don’t have to do anything tonight. Just this.”
Your fingers tremble slightly as they thread into his hair, tugging him back down. You kiss him again—with more urgency, as though trying to chase away your own uncertainty. And then you move without thinking, shifting onto your knees as you swing one leg over his lap, straddling him. Sylus groans softly as you settle onto him, his hands sliding to your hips, holding you there, and you can feel his cock pressing against your clothed core.
His breath is a ragged exhale against your skin, his lips trail down the line of your jaw, his teeth grazing just enough to leave a lingering tingle. His lips settle on the side of your neck, nipping and sucking the sensitive skin. You shudder, fingers tangling into the soft hair at the nape of his neck as warmth floods through you.
And then your hips move, feeling the hard press of him against the damp heat between your legs, the delicious friction making Sylus groan in response. His hands slide up, slipping beneath your sweater, palms skimming the heated skin of your back. Then his hips shift beneath you, pressing up to meet you in a deep grind. The motion sends a shock of pleasure straight to your core, your hands holding onto his shoulders as heat coils tighter inside you. His hands go back to your hips, guiding your movements, keeping you anchored to him as you find a rhythm together.
His lips unlatch from your neck, shifting his attention to you, watching every flicker of pleasure on your face. “That’s it,” he murmurs. “Just like that.”
The way he’s looking at you, the way his body moves with yours—it’s too much, too good, and the coiling pressure in your core tightens too fast. Your nails dig into the fabric of his shirt, your thighs trembling against his hips. You try to slow down, to savor it, but the pleasure builds too quickly.
The orgasm hits out of nowhere. A soft, breathless cry tumbles from your lips and your body tightens, your hips stuttering against him as the pleasure rolls through you.
Sylus stills beneath you, his grip steadying you, his breathing uneven as he watches you come undone. His expression is both hunger and devotion. The corner of his lips tugs into a small smile.
The heat creeps up your cheeks as the mortification sets in. Your heart still racing, you bury your face against his shoulder. “I— I didn’t mean to—”
His hands are already sliding up, cradling your back. His voice is low, soothing. “Don’t,” he whispers, his lips brushing over your temple. “I’ve missed seeing you like this.”
His hands drift lower again, gripping your waist, pulling you closer. His mouth moves down, lips grazing your ear.
"Can you give me one more?"
Your cheeks flush at the question, the residual buzz of your climax still tingling through your limbs. You answer by shifting your hips, experimentally rolling them forward. The motion pulls a deep, guttural groan from his throat, and the sound alone makes your core tingle.
"That's my girl." Sylus rasps.
He starts a rhythm for you, his grip firm enough to steer you but loose enough for you to take control if you wish. The friction is delicious, his cock pressing against your soaked underwear through the fabric of his pants, creating just enough pressure to. The layers of clothing feel like a tease, amplifying every grind, every roll of your hips.
"You're so sensitive." he murmurs, his gaze never leaving your face.
His words make you shiver, spurring you on to move faster, your hips gaining a mind of their own. You can feel his breath on your neck as he leans forward, his lips brushing your ear.
"I want to hear you again." he whispers, teeth grazing the delicate shell of your ear.
Your body reacts instinctively, your pace faltering as you gasp, the coil of pleasure winding tighter with each roll of his hips. Sylus doesn’t let you lose the rhythm, his hands guiding your hips again.
"Let go for me." he urges, his voice a low rumble.
His words, combined with the perfect grind of his body against yours, tip you over the edge. A broken moan escapes your lips as the pleasure crashes through you once more. Your thighs tremble, your body arching as you cling to him, his name spilling from your lips. He groans as his grip tightens on your hips as he presses you down against him, drawing out every last pulse of your orgasm. His gaze locks onto yours, as he watches you come apart in his arms.
You slump forward, panting against him, your forehead brushing his shoulder as your arms wrap around his neck. His hands roam your back now, soothing as you catch your breath. You can feel the tension radiating from his body, the rigid line of his cock still pressing against you.
"Better?" he murmurs.
Your body feels like jelly, but you crave more. With a shaky exhale, you nod, nuzzling your face against his neck, the gesture earning a soft chuckle from him. You give yourself a moment to catch your breath before you sit up and move. Sylus doesn’t take his eyes off you as you stand from his lap, following your hands as they grip the hem of your sweater, lifting it over your head to reveal your bare skin. The soft glow from the living room lamp caresses every curve of your body, and his lips part slightly as he drinks in the sight of you. You hesitate briefly, heart pounding, before your fingers hook into the waistband of your leggings, sliding them down with your panties in one smooth motion, and now you stand completely bare before him.
Sylus leans forward, his breath warm as it fans over your skin. His gaze trails up your body, lingering for a moment, before settling on your face.
“You’re breathtaking.” he murmurs, his voice a low rasp.
You don’t have time to respond before his hands settle on your thighs. His lips brush against the curve of your hip, tender and sweet. He shifts forward, kissing the crease of your thigh, then above your pelvis, the attention making your knees weak. His hands slide up the backs of your thighs, gently urging you closer.
He turns around to push stray pillows off the sofa, before turning back to you, “Come here,” he says. “I want to taste you.”
Your breath hitches at the words, but you follow his lead. Sylus lies back on the sofa, his hands guiding your hips to straddle him, your knees settling on either side of his head. For a moment, you hover above him, your nerves fluttering. But you find reassurance when Sylus looks up at you with a gaze so utterly devoted as he places a kiss on your inner thigh.
“Don’t hold back,” he murmurs, his grip tightening slightly as he guides you down.
A soft gasp leaves your lips at the first stroke of his tongue against you wet folds. You grip the backrest with one hand, while the other one finds purchase in his hair and he pulls you closer, burying himself between your thighs. His tongue moves with expert precision, swirling and dipping, but then his nose presses against your clit, catching it just right, and a shiver bolts through you. The unexpected pressure makes your hips twitch, grinding against him instinctively. His tongue continues to lap at your entrance, tasting your juices, and the wet sounds of his mouth against you filling the room. You let yourself move, rolling your hips, the rhythm dragging your clit against the firm bridge of his nose while his tongue explores deeper, delving into you with an unrelenting hunger. Even lost in the haze of pleasure, you keep some of your weight off him, careful not to press down too hard.
“Sylus…” you whimper, the sound breathless, desperate.
He groans against you, the vibration coursing through your body and making you moan louder. His hands grip your thighs, keeping you steady but letting you control the movement, as though he relishes the way you’re using him to find your pleasure. Each grind sends sparks of ecstasy shooting through you, the friction of his nose against your clit and the way his tongue delves deeper, fucking you in shallow, filthy thrusts. He shifts slightly beneath you, the angle of his face changing just enough to hit a perfect spot, and your legs tremble as you chase another release, rolling your hips harder.
“Fuck - ” you gasp, your hands clutching the sofa like a lifeline.
Sylus hums again, his tongue and nose working in tandem to drive you higher, his hands kneading your thighs, encouraging you to let go completely. And you do.
You come with a shattered cry, hips jerking erratically as he drinks every pulse, every flutter, his grip tightening to keep you from pulling away from the overwhelming high. Your body slumps forward slightly, panting, thighs quivering as you try to gather yourself. But Sylus doesn’t give you time to recover. One moment, you’re perched above him, gasping in the aftershocks of your release, and the next, you’re on your back, the shift leaving you momentarily stunned.
You barely get the words out before his lips crash with yours. The moment your tongue brushes his, the taste of yourself coats your mouth. A shiver rolls through you, your thighs instinctively tightening around his waist. Sylus lets you kiss him like this, lets you taste what he’s done to you, but when your teeth graze his lower lip, teasing, claiming—his control finally breaks. Without breaking eye contact, he sits up just enough to swiftly take off his shirt before his lips are back on yours.
You hear the sound of his zipper, his hips shifting as he frees himself. His cock brushes against your drenched folds, the thick length sliding through your slickness, coating himself in your arousal. A shudder runs through both of you at the contact, the anticipation stretching unbearably between you.
Sylus exhales shakily, his forehead pressing against yours. “Can I finish inside?”
Without hesitation, you nod, your voice trembling as you whisper, “Yes... please.”
Sylus aligns himself, the thick head of his cock pressing against your entrance, and he takes his time, pushing in slowly, watching your expression. The stretch is deliciously intense, every inch of him filling you, making your walls clench around him. A strangled groan escapes his throat as he bottoms out, his cock twitching inside you. His forearms cage you in, the heat of his body surrounding you as he rests his forehead against yours.
He starts to move, his thrusts slow and deep, dragging along every nerve inside you. But even with his languid pace, just the feel of your pussy already has him trembling. You feel him pulse, his hips stuttering as he groans your name, his body shuddering above you. Sylus buries himself as deep as he can, his cock throbbing as his release spills inside you. The warmth spreads, and you can feel every pulse of his cock as he collapses slightly against you, his breathing heavy, his lips brushing your neck.
But he doesn’t stop. Even as his hips jerk with the aftershocks of his first orgasm, he keeps moving, his cock still hard, still sensitive, as he rocks into you with slow thrusts.
“I can’t get enough of you.” he murmurs against your ear.
The sensation of his thick length moving inside you, now slick with his warm release, sends waves of delirious pleasure through you. Your hands cling to his shoulders, your nails pressing into his skin as his pace begins to pick up again. Your legs wrap tightly around his waist, pulling him deeper, and his name tumbles from your lips in breathless gasps. Sylus leans down, capturing your lips in a messy, desperate kiss, his tongue sweeping into your mouth as his hips snap against yours. The pressure builds rapidly inside you, your body arching into his as his cock hits every perfect spot, the wet sounds of your connection filling the room.
“I missed you.” you finally confess, your voice trembling as the words spill out between moans.
Sylus freezes for a heartbeat, his eyes searching yours, his thrusts faltering as your words hit him. “Say it again.” he demands softly, his lips brushing against yours as his hips begin to move faster.
“I missed you.” you repeat breathlessly.
His rhythm grows erratic, his breaths ragged as his second orgasm builds rapidly. His hips slam into yours, his cock throbbing inside you as he grips your hips tightly.
“Fuck - I’m gonna—” His words cut off with a strangled groan as he thrusts into you one last time, his release flooding you again. The sensation of him filling you, paired with the grind of his pelvis against your clit, pushes you over the edge, your walls clenching around him as your fourth orgasm tears through you.
Your breaths mingle as both of you come down from your highs. Sylus doesn’t move right away, his cock still buried inside you as you both lie tangled together on the sofa, your limbs wrapped around him tightly. His weight presses into you, grounding, comforting, his body a welcome warmth against yours.
His lips brush against your temple first, then your cheek, and finally your lips. There’s no urgency now, just a gentle savoring. His hand cups your face, his thumb brushing along your cheekbone as he pulls back slightly.
"I never want to lose you again," he murmurs, the sincerity in his tone making your chest ache. "I was a fool for not seeing how much you were struggling. I took your strength for granted and thought you didn’t need me to change."
You swallow hard, unshed tears stinging your eyes. Your arms tighten around him instinctively, your fingers threading through the damp strands of his hair. He meets your gaze, his eyes softer than you’ve ever seen them.
"I’m more than willing to compromise," he continues. "Whatever it takes. I don’t care if it means slowing down, changing plans, or letting you set the pace. Just... please. I need you."
A lump forms in your throat as his words sink in. The dam of emotions you’ve been holding back all night begins to crack, a single tear slipping down your cheek before you can stop it. Sylus notices immediately. His thumb brushes the tear away, his touch featherlight.
You take a shaky breath, trying to steady yourself, though there is a small tremble in your voice when you whisper. “I need you too."
Relief washes over his face, his lips curving into a small, genuine smile as he leans down to kiss you again, his hands cradling your face like you’re the most precious thing in his world. The kiss lingers, his lips moving against yours with tenderness that leaves no room for doubt. When he finally pulls back, he rests his forehead against yours, his breath warm against your skin as he whispers, "Thank you."
You smile softly, your heart swelling as you gaze up at him. For the first time in what feels like forever, the weight on your chest begins to lift, replaced by the tender hope cradling your heart.

NOW: Inter Miami CF Press Conference | Lionel Messi

comments ⬇️
user1 messi showing all his support for pedri's relationship with his daughter, how nice to see him so happy enjoying life with his family.
user2 it’s actually a tragedy that we won’t get to see Messi and Pedri play together again, pretty sure that yn would love to watch this masterpiece too. her boyfriend with her father 🔥
user3 for messi, pedri is one of the best talents in world football. they enjoyed looking for each other in the short time they played together.
user4 @user3 bring them back please 😭
user5 messi's children are everything to him, so if he supports this relationship it's because he trusts pedri 🥺

Hi i first found you on youtube for your persona animations then undertale and looking through some of your old art it amazes me how much you’ve improved over the years. It also just makes me go crazy how you were into mob psycho too and these three fandoms were like all the same fandoms im in but most people dont even cross between persona and mob psycho so it was a pleasant surprise. I just wanted to say finding you made me crazy happy and I just adore your animations and art❤️
oh man it's been ages since I've drawn these guys. Thanks for checking out my older art! It's nice to scroll down through a blog and see the art get worse, weirdly enough.
(ps. mob psycho 100 is a masterpiece and everyone should watch it)
wait. 2019??!!

The best facial expression I have ever seen in a LOONG time…

It looks like he’s seen things and now either he’s imagining how they made the egg or how he’s now got two very powerful baba’s that would kill for him…
And I’m dying from laughter from the first thought because I bet he thought they did the horizontal tango with a stone egg shard that made the egg he was born from!! 😂🤣😂
Masterpiece as always, keep up the good work.
(P.S. so saving this image as a reaction to certain things in life 😆)
LMAO THE HORIZONTAL TANGO😭
MK is just imagining all the implication at the same time ✨ like how it mean these two are in a way better relationship than he expected and that he's the result of it ✨ his brain just shortcircuit from everythings dfgfd
And thank you so much!! this make me so happy❤️❤️
#the new past au#answering ask#lego monkie kid#your ask also made me laught so much sdfdsf#giving MK those face is just so fun
