A Word-Filled Update

that no one's asking forrrr~

Sooooo, hiya~ ^^

Realized I kinda dropped out without much word, and wanted to give a lil update to anyone who may care, (and specifically to all the unfilled requests that have been sat in my inbox for months now T~T)

Dropping it under a cut because it gets quite long~ but I'll also TL;DR it with: been a bit burnt out, trying to get back into this, I apologize for all the unanswered asks, and I will be trying to get to the ones I can, but I'll be focusing more on trying to enjoy the process of making content~ Thank you to anyone who's stuck around <3

(Tw for brief mention of mental health/neurodivergencies~ nothing in depth or dark, but just incase anyone wants to avoid that <3)

Nothing serious has been going on, mostly just burn out and a bit of drama in main friend group, combined with free time just being a lot more limited recently~ (not a bad thing, most of it is because I'm getting to talk more with friends I've gotten closer to this past year~)

That said, I've been trying to get back into content, making it, reblogging it, etc, without letting it become all-consuming. I find, with the way my brain works, mostly to do to some wonderful neurodivergent tendencies, I tend to fall heavily into 'all of nothing' mentality.

This shows up in my day to day life, (ie: can't wash the dishes for weeks until I suddenly do them all in one day) and I've definitely noticed it with content creation. Need to write and finish a story in one go, record a wav as fast as possible, always afraid I'll lose that motivation.

But honestly? I love making content on here! And I'm not a huge blog, nor do I care if I am (at least trying not to, if I'm being painfully honest~) but I genuinely love making content. Whether it's just for me, a request that I am hoping one specific person will enjoy, or a story I write with a community in mind, I just love creating~

So, I'm trying to ease my way back into this! Bit by bit, let it be fun, and enjoyable, with less internal pressure to produce as much as I can, as fast as I can, and make it be perfect.

I won't lie and say 'numbers don't matter to me', if I'm honest, they do. But I'm learning more and more how to let it be about the content, and to just enjoy the process~ (and if people like it, that'll be a wonderful bonus!~)

Wooo this is getting so long, I apologize sincerely! Last thing, something I've mentioned a few times previously but never really let myself get into... requests~

I'm so honoured that people care about my content enough to have asked for things, and getting any ask, request, praise, ask lists, heck even just a 'hi!' is honestly the best part of this blog for me!

Buuuut, I definitely worked myself into burn-out before with a "every request needs to be filled and fast" mentality, that led to just... not filling any.

So! I'm going back through my inbox, and deleting some older ones that I don't have a clear vision/motivation for. I apologize to anyone who requested them, though by now it's possible they're long gone~ But I think this will help me not only start enjoying the creation process without feeling so overwhelmed, but also start actually getting more content made~

There are definitely a bunch that I still adore, and am thrilled to get to test out, but if there's one you remember sending, and you really want to see it completed, please feel free to send another ask saying what it is you want done, and I'll see if I can get that going <3

aaaaaa chapter 3 of IHM was soooo good!!! Reader and Gojo’s banter is so funny, I just love stories, series and movies where the main characters can’t stand each other and fall in love without even noticing! Their relationship reminds me a lot from the main couple in the movie “Life as we know it”. Omg poor reader when dealing with Choso, the other cop PLUS her neighbors! And the way everyone is so nosy and suspicious, I feel like more awkward situations about their sudden marriage are about to come. These cringe encounters are everything 😂😂😂 The little detail where reader reminds Gojo to strengthen his collar before he leaves was the sweetest, cutest thing! I absolutely love how reader meets part of the family all at once, it was so adorable. And Mama Gojo is amazing, I already love that woman! Does she believe in energy, crystals and all these things? The way she literally hugged reader and declared she would bring luck to their family was soooo sweet!!! This fic is definitely the found family trope!!! And little Juno calling us auntie? My heart just melted right then and there! i relate to reader in the sense that she feels overwhelmed and terrified at the thought of having another family now that she’s married to Gojo. I am close only to my mom, dad and brother, and completely ceased contact with my family from my father’s side of the family. What I mean is, family is difficult, so I’m excited to see how reader will navigate this new chapter of her life, since when you marry someone, it’s like you marry their whole family by association. I hope the rude comments and asks you’ve received straight up demanding smut in all your fics don’t discourage you from continuing writing and posting your lovely stories!!! Unfortunately this always happens, people only care about what they want to see and completely disregard the author’s feeling and efforts. Thank youuu so so so much for writing real stories, with a real build up which only makes the romance between the main characters more genuine and worth in the end! thank you for your insights on family, that is so true. when you marry someone, you marry their whole family too. and that can be hard to navigate, especially when you’re so used to being around just one person (in reader’s case, her mother) and then suddenly having to acclimate to new people. i’m so glad you can see yourself in her (i’m the same way, only keep in touch w my immediate family and hardly w my aunts/uncles/cousins on both sides for a lotta family drama reasons haha) and i’ve always felt frightened to expand my relations w ppl for that reason, but i think i find that it can be healing too.

Oh boy this is gonna be really explicit HAHA!

They are absolutely going into heats at the same time, because their scents will trigger each other immediately. So that’s…a challenge!

The way I see it, when you’re both omegas, you have to plan ahead for heats. Basically it’s like knowing that they’ll both be incapacitated for a few days, so they have to stock up on supplies in advance and get to somewhere safe as soon as they realize what’s happening. And they’re definitely doing cycle tracking and things like that to be better prepared. They’d also need the help of bodyguards they really trust, like Ares, to keep them safe during that time. Essentially, everything an alpha would do, they do for themselves in advance.

Santino’s fixation on proper scheduling helps a lot with this stuff.

I also think, like most Santino and John content, this ends with them running away from the High Table together to a place where they can be safer, at John’s insistence.

As far as the moodiness goes, even if they’re both that way at the same time, it works out pretty well because John is emotionally intelligent enough to read Santino’s irritation as discomfort. So even if he’s spaced out at the time, he doesn’t get mad back. He just gets really sweet and weepy and starts nuzzling and massaging Santino. Full puddle mode. “I don’t want you to be hurting…” That turns any irritation into affection pretty quickly.

Occasionally they do argue but again, it turns to affection quickly…this time as hot make-up sex!

They are super cuddly and needy with each other. Just laying together in a pile of blankets trying to get as much physical contact as possible between them. If you’re standing outside the door, you hear nothing but inarticulate, adoring whining for SO LONG

Nonverbal safewords like tapping three times, to help them communicate when they’re too spaced out to speak (this is good to know for any readers who do BDSM with gags, btw)!!!

When they both have chills, it feels so good to hold each other and keep each other warm.

To actually deal with the horniness itself, they use um…toys. Santino thinks it’s better than actual alpha could ever be - he’s always suggesting freaky new types of toys to try and John is a little shocked at first but pretty quickly he realizes he wants to experiment too and they gradually learn what they like together!

my answer: god… how did it become love?

honestly, everything about him just started pulling me in until I was falling for him, completely and hopelessly. things like his adorable smile, seeing the endless hard work he puts into his vocal skills and career, the subtle ways he cares for his friends... and he would also do all these sweet things for me, like buying me food, joking around when he noticed I was feeling down, and tucking me into bed when I was drunk. and—oh! this might be silly, but one thing that made me really fall hard was seeing him when he had just woken up. he was all fluffy hair and droopy eyes... it was kind of a vulnerable state to see him in, adorably intimate, and he was just so so cute in that moment.

…it tore me up for awhile because, for the longest time, I had no idea he felt the same way. when he confessed to me it might have been one of the happiest moments of my life, haha! I had no idea he had been pining for me just as hard as I was for him. I could hardly believe it, but now he's mine, and I love him more than the world. <3

seungmin shifts in his seat, watching as they place the noise cancelling headphones on your head. he throws you a thumbs up paired with a little smile��blink and you’ll miss it. when you confirm you can’t hear anything, he turns to face the camera briefly as if waiting for their ‘go’ signal to start speaking.

so, I do think that there is a bit of hesitancy for him to feel this way with both women. it's been SO long since he's loved one someone, the only person we know of that he truly loved was barb and well....look where that went! so yeah, i do believe he's hesitant with the both of them at first. overtime, of course, he does warm up to them both and he really opens himself up to them, he lets out a side of himself that he hasn't shown to anyone else in so long and that's his softer side, a side that really shows that he does have some humanity left in him and that he is still VERY MUCH capable of learning to love especially with both Charlie and Lucy.

do I think he does feel left out at times when the girls are literally being the cutest ever?? I'd say, he hides at first, he's a hardened and hot headed man and he doesn't want to let that feeling get in the way BUT, I do think he shows it just a bit overtime HOWEVER, he lets that feeling go in the end because he knows that both women not only love each other, but they love him just as equally and that really shows in the relationship is equal love!

I love seeing your art after posting chapters, whether the design is of your own or closer to mine, I absolutely adore it either way! So don't feel restricted by anything. You've definitely gotten it down to a T though haha When it comes to 'pointed ears, etc' there aren't actually any other sub-species/hybrids other than avians in this universe, as they are creations solely of the Watchers. Not to say people can't be born without little funky attributes such as those though! Grian and Pearl are twins here, so their appearances do resemble each others a lot. Such as the same hair colour, dirty blonde, and facial features. I am sorry to say that Grian unfortunately is not a glasses wearer in AMDB 😔 purely because of lore purposes and him being 'perfect' it wouldn't fit. I still love glasses Grian <33 Cuteguy right now simply dons a red hoodie and grey knee-length shorts. His 'void covering' is the consistency of a liquid and can change how much of his face is being covered. This will be spoken more on in future chapters! And I might have to come back to Cuteguy a little later as.. spoiler alert.. he will actually be getting a suit hahaha not stuck in those borrowed clothes forever. Oh no this is getting long... apologies 😭 Scar's clothes are pretty consistent, button up shirts (never fully buttoned) and whatever jeans work best lol. He's a simple artist. His hair is just a mess kinda.. lmao I've described it before to a friend as "He cuts his own hair, but he can't see the back so he just leaves it and hopes for the best." He's just left with a mullet that has a mind of its own. There's a very special detail about his accessories you'll find out in chapter 10 though 👀 EDIT: Oopsie.. coming back to make a little edit as I forgot to mention his scar placement!! He has a jagged one across his nose bridge, shorter on one side than the other. A large one down his jaw and extending to his throat a little. A cross, or in other words, the shape of an 'X' between his hair part on his forehead. Grian mentions this in ch6! And finally for visible ones, a large one resembling an explosion on his collarbone, back of neck and back. Across his body he has many overlaying each other as well. Some on his hands and espeically his palms/fingers. Basically you can give him as many or as less as you'd like hahaha Hawkeye, I didn't devle too much into his design! I wish I could explain more into him but that would be spoilers :( He has a lot coming for him. His main details are that he wears archer equipment: a quiver, chest guard, arm guard and glove! But his suit is pretty much just DDVAU inspired except no short-shorts since I'm going for less comedy aspect and more action style! Oh how I miss those short shorts lol The only key detail with Mumbo is his hair, it reaches about his collarbone. I call him the 'Hippie band guy' in my head because that's just how I picture him after the buttercups in S9 lmao If there's anything else you're curious about please ask away! And again, even with this info you are entirely able to just ignore it lol! I love seeing your art and even without the 'canon' designs I would love it just as much, if not more! Hi miss lollytea! I'm the glasses anon, (the one who was feeling insecure bc she was getting glasses and came to u for advice)

So I got my glasses yesterday, and when I looked into the mirror, I thought, "Huh... I look like a cutie"

I think it was mainly bc the entire day I was hyping myself up by rationalizing: "Well even if I look like shit I can't do anything about it. I need these for my sight, and if I don't use them, my eyes will get worse. My friends are all super supportive of me, so they wouldn't be mean, and if somebody I dont care for is acting shitty or rude, I can just bite / slap them. Or yell at them.

Anyway, when I looked into the mirror I remembered your advice and maybe it was just me being a little self-absorbed, I thought, "Wait I look cute???" Like, the glasses frame my face well (I was mainly worried about that bc my face is small), but they look great!" And, weirdly (it might have been a trick of the light) but they seemed to bring my dimples out.

So I was pretty happy (especially when I sent a pic to my friends on the group chat and they all called me adorable)

And, the guy I like was super nice and gave me tips, like how the cloth in the case doesn't really help him, and how to avoid to getting them fogged, and when I complained to him it felt kinda weird bc there's now weight on the bridge of my nose, he was like, "ha, yeah, that'll take a few days to get used to."

So, I wanted to tell you: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Your advice really helped and lifted my heart, especially bc you listened to my silly little rant. Thank you!! It really quelled my anxiety. (Also, if I may— you also look super cute in your glasses!)
