ambrose is one of the few ocs i have an actual page for that's like, mostly finished, so if you're inch rested in the full backstory you can find it here!!

but to keep it a bit shorter: ambrose is an important asset at arasaka security, he's working at mission oversight nowadays but it wasn't always like that! in his glory days he worked at special ops and mainly focused on bringing back rogue employees and/or other dangerous ex arasaka individuals. he was known as the reaper during those years and got quite the reputation because of it, but ended up retiring from special ops following an incident which caused him to adopt a little girl named rei after the incident left her without parents

because of his status at arasaka he knows about most of the bigger things that are going on in their night city headquarters. despite having nothing to do with the in-game events, he would 100% know about what goes down there but stays out of it because it really isn't his business. he's mainly focused on a secret program that the corporation is working on, of which he would've been a test subject himself had he not retired from special ops. the secret program has a bunch of test subjects that are just completely out of control around 2077 and arasaka really wants the reaper back to retrieve the assets for them

ambrose has battled early stages of cyberpsychosis already and he's also already getting a bit older and he really doesn't want to die now that he's a father, not wanting rei to end up all by herself again. he knows he's going to be forced back into the field, but what he doesn't know is that once he's out there, what happens next will change his life forever

all in all, ambrose is a very kind and generous man who truly wants the best for the people around him. he wants to be a good father to rei and is always found helping out in the building they live in with repairs or anything else that needs doing. he's a community driven man who wants nothing more than to retire from arasaka forever. he needs a nap so bad

2. Do you read/reread your own fics?

yes! not very often, because ive not been in much of a reading mood lately, but i do! im also really proud of myself for getting to a point where i dont feel embarrassed of rereading my older works, which is super fun!

4. How many WIPs do you have right now?

soooo i had to go through my google docs to find out how many and. its 17 😭 insane, actually.

6. Are there any fics from others you reread all the time?

oh my gosh. YES. i read a few fics that are non-stranger things related over and over again BUT almost paradise by @hawkinsindiana is probably my absolute favorite steve x reader fic series ever. ive been reading it for like over a year now and its just SO amazingly written and in-character - i absolutely adore it and totally recommend it to everyone!! there are others too ofc but my brain is blanking right now haha

8. What project(s) are you currently working on?

the main things im working on are my mom steve month mini fics (im already a day behind rip me) AND a trilogy fic series im gonna write that im SO excited for! its a modern actor steve x reader romcom au!! its so silly and fun and i cant wait to actually work on it again to get ready to post it at some point!!

6. Do you have any OCs without stories? Will you ever create one for them?

as of this week i do, actually! i created a bunch of ocs just so i can draw them without having to worry about their story (i have some basic things and relationship lore and such but very basic, and no plot). i don't think i'll ever create one, mostly because i have enough original story ideas to last a lifetime and the point of these ocs are just improving my drawing skills :]

8. Do you have any OC family trees?

YES ABSOLUTELY for one of my stories, sunset, i have family trees for the main characters. they are not very long cause we only see like 3 different generations, but i am gonna count them :)
