" Your brother is an idiot." You said, gritting your teeth as your mail blew with applicants, beautiful young ladies with peculiar yet remarkable talents.
" That." Benedict catched the grape midair with his mouth," we know of." He added with a cocky grin.
" Read another ! " Colin peppered, stealing your cookies which you ignored, sighing as you opened another mail.
" Tiana Young, twenty-one, I like to read, write and sing, my favourite author is Collen Hoover—" Benedict snorted, " —I like children and hope to be a mother, I am very soft spoken and good natured, my neighbours call me Ti, because I am a tea kinda person—"
" What's a tea kinda person ? " Colin bited the smuggled cookie, Benedict pulled the remaining to his side hastily, you felt your appetite long gone.
" It's like...they are like tea..." Benedict said, more in doubt as he looked for affirmation.
" Like milk tea or another tea ? " You asked, perhaps tea could takeaway your headache.
" What's an another tea ? " Colin's hand began to pull the tray, Benedict frowned but said nothing, taking one hurriedly and breaking it into two parts, offering you the bigger one.
" No thank-you, let me fix this Tiana's appointment." You exhaled, copy pasting a paragraph how (un) grateful you were to her for reaching out, she would soon have her appointment date and bla bla bla.
" I knew my brother was workholic but this wife hunting thingy is so exhausting." Benedict wiggled his eyebrows, you knew he was being kind but he wasn't helping at all.
" It would have been over if his requirements weren't so high, like he's not looking for a wife but some utopian woman god has yet to create ! " You were ranting, you knew, but this was the only way you could stop yourself from punching Anthony for putting you into this misery.
" Why can't he just fall in love ? " Colin looked at you and Benedict seriously, his mouth covered in crumbs, " Come on, love is like...like a force to be reckoned with ! " He beamed, ofcourse it was a force, didn't Penelope wrote something smiliary in her latest book, you somehow felt your heart shuddering, what would happen if Anthony were to be in love, some intelligent, beautiful woman, some utopian goddess of his, you didn't like the idea one bit, so you laughed it off.
" Brother in love ? " Benedict was in stitches, banging his palm on the table, shaking few very important papers that laid without any significance. They will be probably used as napkin if you weren't there.
" It's not funny." Colin got up, taking his coat, he rolled his eyes when Benedict refused to stop laughing, you shaked your head helplessly as another mail popped up, Jasmine had written a essay about global peace and increasing capatilism, you groaned, damn you Anthony bridgerton!
_
" Good evening Anthony." You tapped save on your screen as Anthony entered the office, a beak of sweat trickling down his neck line, okay, someone got either fired or roasted down to their very existence, you preferred the former.
" Good evening y/n." He looked up at you, he worried his jaw to say more but decided against it as he settled on his chair, it was very comfy and very big, years of working with him but you couldn't fathom the courage to ever have a taste, perhaps Benedict would help, maybe then.
" There are twelve appointments I have scheduled for tomorrow, Miss Becka—"
" Cancel them."
" What ?! " You almost shouted, you didn't waste your whole day to adjust and fit these pretty woman according to the time and weather and place and Anthony's mood so nothing went wrong, did he just said cancel them like it was nothing, this—
" We are going out Tommorow, it might take all day so cancel them." Anthony ran a hand through his hair as he exhaled sharply, your brain short circuited at the words more and more made some meaning, we ?! Did he, for heaven's sake said we ?
" You and me ? " You blurted and lowered your gaze when his eyes snapped to you, a deep color blazed your nose as you fiddled with your skirt.
" Yes, me and you." He confirmed and you could swore, that was a smile, a small, thin, almost unrecognisable on his always stern face, but that was a smile.
" Why ? " You closed your laptop, tucking the strands of your hair that usually came out after a long day, behind you ear.
Anthony pressed a key and it beeped, he shifted his face to you, thinking that he was almost frowning and finally, he said with a neutral face.
" I have found a match." His face gave nothing away, " Miss Edwina will be most suitable for marriage." He said it like it wasn't his marriage he was talking about, " she's very graceful and witty and would make a amiable wife and a kind loving mot—"
" Right." You snapped mid course, his mouth was hanging open with words lost in void, you knew very well Miss Edwina was a fine young lady, she was beautiful and kind and sharp at wits, ofcourse this ended your torment or perhaps began another, but not now, you needed to think.
" I..I promised Benedict for dinner. " You muttered, feeling your whole body numb as you stumbled out of your seat, Anthony watched, something glazed in his eyes but you couldn't place it, you might if you looked longer but you had no courage left now. You were almost at the glassy door, he was watching you intently and you felt his gaze burn at your back.
" You like my brother quite very much." He startled you, you paused, heart beats echoing through your throat. It was like he was accusing you, almost jabbing his finger on your chest. What does that mean ?
" What could I say ? He's very amiable." You turned to smile at him, it trembled on your lips and Anthony scoffed slightly, mouth curving in disdain but it was gone as soon as it crossed his face. Damn you !
" Have a nice day sir." You closed the door behind you, covering your face as a muffled scream cut through your cartilage.
_
" Miss Edwina ?! " Benedict almost screamed as you narrowed your eye sternly at him, he lowered his voice in a whisper, ducking his head down towards you, " sorry but Miss Edwina ?! "
" I know, I know." You swigged another gulp of the dizzy bubbling liquid that will give you a terrible headache tommorow but right now, you just wanted this uneasiness feeling to go away.
" Didn't her scary sister vowed to ruin him or something like that ? " Benedict licked his thumb, eye's watering at the spice, you loved this place's Chole bhature very much, last time Benedict cried when he accidentally bited the green masala filled chilly.
" Yeah, she refused to take ahead the Mayfair deal, or something like that, not that it would ruin anything and—" You sighed, leaning back your head as the soft music tickled your senses.
" What ? " You heard his faint murmur.
" Well Anthony was right, as soon as our team announced his engagement, ofcourse not revealing the bride, he's well trending—"
" He's always trending." Benedict groaned, chugging water as his lips were swollen with spiced heat.
" Yes, but not for thirsty things, i meant that Aubreyton is trending and our shares are touching the sky and it's a whole profitable season ahead." You ended breathlessly, you stared at him for full second before both your eye's crinkled with smiles and laughter that came from your hearts, it lightened the air somehow as well as your heart.
" You do remember I am part of the executive board ? " Benedict tilted his head with a warm smile and you shaked your head, feeling tipsy.
" Like you do anything except torment me and poor Colin ! " You pouted, feeling your cheeks flush as Benedict threw his head back and laughed.
" Poor Colin ? " He cooed, " he's probably getting laid tonight." He added with a wink, you slapped his shoulder nervously.
" Penelope replied ? "
" Ofcourse, my dear little brother wrote a whole ass three page message, with a picture of all her books that too hardcover and first editions."
" Wow." You said, impressed, Colin was head over heels, it was only a matter of time since the dazzling author knew.
" And what of Miss Beckett ? " You wiggled your eyebrows like Benedict did when he teased you, he turned a beetroot red as he fumbled with the last contents of his glass.
" She refused for a live in relationship." He said, his face grew sad and you mentally winced for putting him there.
" Oh." You nodded, Sophia lived with her evil mother who liked to see her suffer and she was, afterall, too good of a girl.
" Benedict..." You whispered when he closed his eyes softly, hiding his face behind his palms.
" I am not crying." He was. He sniffed as a few heads turned towards the pair of you, many with sympathy, probably thinking you had refused to marry him or something.
" Hey, hey, hey..." You pulled yourself as you dizzily tripped over to his side, wrapping your arms around him as he melted in your embrace.
" She doesn't understand..." He said it so muffled that it was unable to make out what he said, but you understood it anyway.
" She will, she loves you so much." You kissed his head and he nodded, tears streaking your shirt as he finally emerged with red, sticky face and puppy bright eyes.
" I think i drank too much." He admitted, you nodded, feeling yourself floating too.
" Let's call a cab, we shouldn't drive." You suggested, fiddling with cash as you payed the bill, leaving good tip for the teenager waiter, who smiled kindly at every inner joke Benedict shot.
" Uh huh." He focused hard on his phone, sticking his tongue out like he did when he was really, really drunk and or just really, felt the need to, or he was about to do something stupid, which he did.
Twelve minutes later, Anthony bridgerton was standing outside the restaurant with a heavy frown and it was strange to see him in normal clothes, like that grey t-shirt felt odd yet gorgeous and those sweatpants, you were way too drunk, you realised.
" You'll make a fine gentleman." Anthony curted his mouth, his words dripped with sarcasm that you and Benedict were too drunk to catch on.
" Thankyou, the cab idea was mine." He said smugly, ducking out when you smacked his ass with your purse, Anthony watched with wide eyes.
" Liar." You jabbed at him, he started to giggle and stumbled, taking you along before Anthony grabbed you by the waist and pulled you away from him, Benedict winked at you when Anthony closed his eyes, frustration or whatever that dazed him, his touch was electrifying, like current jostling in water.
Anthony pulled away his arms from you, his eyes strained like it pained him just the same it hurt you.
" You are wasting my time brother, get in the car." He glared, " come." He said to you, his gaze softened but that could be alcohol, you weren't reliable narrator especially when it was Anthony bridgerton.
" Well you could have refused." Benedict ran and sprawled inside like a bear, covering the whole back seat with his wasted body.
" Yes well, I didn't come for y—" he clamped his mouth in a thin line, nerve twitching on his forehead as he breathed hard, eyeing you as you ran after Benedict's seat thievery, you opened the door and his head almost snapped when he looked up you, it was a nauseous enough to make you vomit.
" Move." You pulled his hair, in no hell you will sit in the front seat, not like you haven't, but you were drunk and you were angry and you hated Anthony and you wished so much to just, to just, just once, once just, kiss him hard, that's alcohol, bloody alcohol.
" Leave this idiot." Anthony was suddenly behind you, he touched your elbow with same electric touch, guiding you to the empty front seat as he opened the door, you could feel Benedict wiggling his eye, you will deal with this bastard later.
" I was thinking—" Benedict started, once Anthony started driving, he was shut real quick when Anthony glared with words.
" Stop thinking." Anthony rolled the steering wheel and you looked away, those veins taunted and lured you, it was maddening and the streets were much dull and undistracting.
Benedict giggled at something he probably said in his head, you chuckled when he burped, he did too, only Anthony didn't.
" Don't you have a date tommorow with Mr. Dorset ? " Benedict craned his neck to get a view of you, two Bridgerton's eyes were too much to take as you thought hard, well yes a date, with Mr. Dorset, yes, you did remember.
" Ofcourse." You said, Anthony drifted a turn that jerked your head forward and you would have got a concussion if it wasn't his big palm that came for rescue.
" Are you okay ? " He asked, slowing down the car as his fingers pushed you back until the back of your head was pressed against the seat.
" Yeah." You confirmed, nothing was more threatening than his touch. He should bloody know that.
" Are you okay ? " Benedict mimicked and you realised he was down there, squashed on the car floor, his face hidden somewhere.
Anthony ignored him as his expressions hardened, he was breathing hard as he worried his lips, thinking and thinking.
" You do know it might take all day." Anthony finally said and you cocked your head to his side, you were drunk and well, sleepy too.
" What ? Well, it's a dinner date." You assured, Mr. Dorset wasn't letting go and a Thai curry wouldn't hurt anyway.
" Yes well, it might be very late." He was frowning now, his eyes were on the road but he would glance between nano seconds.
" Really ? " You pouted, you were way too gone now, it didn't matter, Anthony's eyes stopped at your lips and when he looked up, something changed, like it must have changed a long ago but it's colours were only visible now, like moon hiding behind the clouds, beaming but not seen and when it's finally high, hanging at sky, you blinked, expecting it to be gone, like everything, but when you opened your eyes, it was still there, as clear as ever, shimmering at you. That's alcohol, bloody alcohol.
" Yes.." Anthony gulped hard, pulling at Benedict's apartment, how much he wanted sophie to built a home with him, soon, you thought, soon.
" Oi y/n, I think I found your lipstick." Benedict hopped up, his face had lines where because he didn't bother to get up once he had fallen, with a shade that you never used in your whole lifetime, Anthony looked away when you tried to catch his eyes.
" That's not mine." You said, feeling anger creep up your neck, not knowing why, it's not that you were the only one who sat in his car and ofcourse you weren't his girlfriend, you weren't his friend even, he was your boss, you were his assistant, that's it, that's fucking it, you really wanted to punch his face, that's bloody alcohol, you would never drink again.
" Benedict, my brother." Anthony took the lipstick away which Benedict was trying to apply on himself, " get the fuck out."
" Goodbye to you too brother." He leaned to smooch Anthony when he hastily pulled away, growling.
" Bye bye sweetheart." Benedict smooched your cheek then and his lips only touched your warm skin before Anthony pushed him back in the back seat, it was, kinda rough.
" You are drunk." He told Benedict who shrugged, blinking heavily.
"He always kissed me goodbye." You glared at Anthony, this freaking bastard, chew on your lipstick, Idiot. You leaned down to kiss Benedict's cheek and he giggled softly, eyes locked with Anthony, his wide bastard grin flashing, glittering as Anthony eye rolled.
When Benedict was dropped, it was your turn, Anthony stared ahead like a statue, you were suffering in your own head.
The silence became heavy in air as the music was either tragic or too loud for your head and Anthony sensed the discomfort, turning it off altogether.
" What are we going to do actually? Venue deciding or something." You finally spoke, remembering how much you stared and stared when the article popped up, Anthony bridgerton looking for a wife !! You remembered the qualification list, should be well spoken, should be linguistic, should want kids, should be family loving, should be this, should be that, should have good enough hips to bear a child like what ?!
You remembered days and days when he would have his appointments, yes appointments, most of times he was out within five minutes, a frown on his face.
" She doesn't know algebra." He said one time when he came out within two minutes and you shrugged, well algebra was hard afterall.
And now Miss Edwina had ended all your miseries and torture, no lists, no more algebra's and Collen Hoover's, nothing of that anymore, Anthony would be a husband soon and perhaps he would love her, or already love her, he was so determined even when Kate sharma threatened to cut deals with Aubreyton if didn't stop sending flowers, well that was your doing, sending flowers because it was your idea, but well, it didn't matter.
" Well not the venue, but wedding ring and wedding dresses, Mother say we match and cake tasting and flowers—" we.
" When's the wedding ? " You looked at him scornfully, Anthony's eyes lowered at you as he stopped the car.
" Next week." Fuck you Anthony!
" Shouldn't you decide that with Miss Edwina herself ? " You were glad, but you had this feeling that he would be taken away from you, once married, he might not be yours, he was never yours, but still, why not start now ?
He frowned like it wasn't the most sensible and obvious thing.
" I..." He hesitated, " Miss Edwina might not want to go, since the wedding is too near and also, to keep it a private engagement."
" Oh." You didn't get a thing, your mind wasn't working as Anthony leaned down to open your door, you freezed, only your heart thudded loudly, could he hear ? What he did to you, well it wouldn't surprise you if he knew and still chose to torture your poor soul. " Why not state it publicly ? "
" I can't deal with the fanfictions." He said in matter of factly way. " And paparazzi giving Edwina trouble." Don't say her name, don't.
" Fanfictions ?! " You laughed so loud that he actually stopped thinking whatever he was, and just looked at you, as if taking in every detail, savouring them, drinking every bit of you in, he looked like he was mesmerized but that was just alcohol, just your silly heart, just you, who had read all those one shots, about you and him, ofcourse you weren't going to admit it and ofcourse you would be quite dammed if you ever saw Anthony getting shipped with Edwina Sharma, they are getting married in a week idiot, yes, but not today, not now, later, when it was time, please, not now. Later, now he was yours.
" You have a good choice either way." He was, for no reason, walking you to your door, you remembered how Benedict was practically kicked out earlier, he would tease you so much if you were to ever tell him.
" Oh please." You chuckled, rubbing your hands together in the chilly air, " I gifted Benedict onesies on his birthday."
Anthony smiled, it didn't leave his face until he caught you staring and you noticed how different he looked, when those lines were of joy instead of worry, he looked young and his boyishness made your heart do cartwheels.
" That was just a joke." He amused, " wasn't it ? " His smile faltered when you shaked your head in a no, fumbling for you keys.
" It wasn't so bad." Anthony said, somewhat traumatised, " Benedict wore them anyway."
" It had penguins ! " You cringed at the memory, a drunkish Polaroid like, blurred and saturated, it was vivid but just like yesterday, Anthony didn't dance until you were both so drunk, perhaps he smiled back than too, and looked just as dazzling.
" You are good y/n." Anthony said sincerely, " stop being mean to yourself." You opened the door but your hands freezed at the doornob, why Anthony had to cut the right wires, why he had to upside down your whole world ?
" Well, same to you Anthony." You said, he lingered on the doorway more than he should, it was alcohol, it really, really was but no amount of gaslighting could blur the memory away, you always remembered how brave you were that night when you leaned down, one step not much, and placed a small, chaste kiss, just a brush of your lips against his blazing skin. A touch to his soul, it sparkled and rose and busted into a thousand orbs and sprinkled like glitters on you and him.
" Good night." You whispered, Anthony stared, too stunned to say anything, then he smiled, small and enchanting.
" Good night y/n." His smile stayed.

Katsuki spends Halloween with you.
1,200 words~
Tumblr media
You sniffled in your room waiting for your humidifier to finally help.
Of all days to come down with the cold, why did it have to be your favorite holiday, Halloween?
You looked at your forgotten costume in the corner of your dorm and sighed.
“Knock knock,” you heard followed by loud banging on your door.
Reluctantly you opened your door and we’re met with the sight of Denki, Eijiro, Hanta, and Katsuki.
“Um, why aren’t you in your costume yet? We’re totally going to be late for the party,” Denki asked.
“Isn’t it obvious Dunce Face, look at them! They are sick as hell!” Katsuki yelled as some of the boys shuffled into your dorm.
“No way are you really not feeling well? That’s such a bummer man,” Eijiro said, looking at you with puppy eyes.
“Yeah, it’s fine you guys go have fun,” you waved your hand for them to get out. “I don’t want to get you all sick.”
“That superrrr sucks. But, we need your expert opinion first. Tell me are the ladies ready for this costume,” Denki asked motioning to his devil costume.
You couldn’t help but laugh, Denki was relentless with his endless pinning. You yanked on his devil tail letting it snap back and hit him.
Ow!” He yelled in surprise.
“You look great, Kaminari. I think the lady is going to love it,” you said, giving him a wink causing him to blush.
“And what about my cape? Does it look dumb?” Eijiro asked, looking a little self-conscious.
“A vampire, hu? Pretty smart with those teeth of yours. Yeah, it looks cute, Kirishima. Sero, your pirate looks great too. But, how did you boys manage to get Bakugo in a costume this year?”
“What?! I did this on my own!” Katsuki barked at you.
“Really? You chose a werewolf all by yourself, hu?” You asked.
“Tch, what’s the matter with it?! Better than these extras lame ass costumes,” he said defensively.
“It looks good Bakugo. Alright go, all of you get out of here before you catch my cold,” you said, encouraging them to leave.
“Ok, I’m sorry... feel better soon, ok?” Eijiro said as he, Hanta, and Denki started to make their way out.
“Kacchan come on we’re already super late,” Denki called.
“Nah- you idiots go,” Katsuki said.
“What no way, you’re seriously not going to come even after you picked out your whole costume?” Hanta asked.
“Parties are fucking dumb, get out of here already,” Katsuki yelled.
“Alright man, we’ll see you later then,” Eijiro said, pulling the other two boys who were still trying to convince Bakugo to come.
Once the other three were gone you turned to Katsuki, “You didn’t have to do that.”
“Tch I didn’t do it for you dumb ass! I was looking for any excuse not to go to that dumb party,” Katsuki said, crossing his arms.
“Mhm sure,” you said, rolling your eyes playfully at him.
“Whatever- your voice sounds like crap. Let’s go down to the common room and I’ll make you some tea and we can watch a dumb movie or something,” he suggested.
“You really want to watch a Halloween movie?!” You asked surprised by his holiday spirit.
“Uh yeah- isn’t that what you’re supposed to do on Halloween? Come on, let’s go. Tired of seeing you moping in your room,” he said, waving at you to follow him downstairs.
You followed Katsuki downstairs to the common room and started looking for movies while he made some tea for you.
“Do you want to watch an actual scary movie or a cheesy cute one like The Addams Family or something?” You asked.
Katsuki set the tea down next to you and sat on the couch. “I don’t give a fuck, they are all dumb.”
“Fine- I’m showing you my favorite then,” you decided, turning the movie on and sitting down next to him. Katsuki just grunted in response.
You settled in more into the couch drinking the tea he made, “The tea is good thank you,” you said.
“No need to thank me dumb ass, if you need more just let me know,” he said, eyes staying locked on the TV. You watched him for a few moments trying to make sense of his actions that never seemed to match his words.
You decided to take a risk and leaned a bit into Katsuki’s shoulder. To your surprise, he didn’t move or react at all. Instead, he looked down at you, “Why is this one your favorite Halloween movie?” He asked.
Katuski was a surprisingly good listener, and despite his disdain at first, he declared he didn’t completely hate every second of the movie you chose.
“Alright, what’s the next one?” He asked.
“You want to watch another?! Isn’t it kind of late for you?” You asked surprised.
“I don’t sleep that damn early! You all just stay up too late! Besides, those idiots aren’t back yet so- just put on another one,” he said.
You chose another movie and nuzzled back into the couch leaning more into Katsuki who again made no reaction.
Before you knew it, time had passed, and the occasional comments Katsuki made about the movie slowly stopped as you both felt sleepiness wash over you.
The next thing you knew you heard whispers from behind you.
“Should we wake them up?” Hanta whispered.
“Awe they look so comfy,” Eijiro said.
“What! How did Kacchan get more action than any of us?!” Denki said, irritated.
“Come on, let’s leave them,” Eijiro said, pulling his two friends away.
You opened your eyes slowly as you heard the boys finally leave back to their dorms. Immediately a blush took over your face as you realized you had fallen asleep in Katsuki’s lap. Katsuki was fast asleep with his head leaning against the couch.
You gently shook him a bit to bring him out of sleep.
Katsuki inhaled sharply and picked his head up, blinking hard he slowly came back to consciousness.
“Hey, um the others came through already. We must have fallen asleep.”
“Damn,” he said, stretching. “Must have been that boring ass movie.”
“Hey, it wasn’t that bad!” You said smacking his shoulder playfully.
“Yeah yeah whatever, I want to get out of this damn costume,” he said getting up off the couch. “Come on I’ll walk you to your dorm, I don’t want your sick ass passing out on the way up the elevator or anything.”
“I’m not that helpless,” you argued but followed Katsuki back to your dorm.
“Alright get some sleep idiot or you’re never going to get better,” he said, opening your door for you.
“Thank you,” you said awkwardly, passing him to step into your room.
“Yeah whatever- it wasn’t as awful as that party would have been I guess,” he said.
“Those ears are really cute on you by the way,” you said playfully patting his hair around his costume wolf ears.
“Tch,” he exclaimed, irritated looking at the floor but you caught the small tint that grew on his cheeks.
“Goodnight, Bakugo,” you said and moved closer to press a kiss to his cheek.
Katsuki backed up, surprised, “Trying to get me sick dumb ass,” he said, rubbing his cheek.
“Oh fuck- sorry,” you apologized.
“Don’t- it’s fine, but, you should try a little harder,” he said, grabbing your wrist and pulling you to him as he pressed his lips to yours. “Goodnight.” He said and swiftly left down the hallway.

LET THE LIGHT IN ~ Zoro
Tumblr media
Roronoa Zoro x fem!reader
IN WHICH the non-chalant pirate hunter cracked a smile for only you.
Nattie speaks: a Zoro fic was long overdue on my blog, I luv my brooding babe💋
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ZORO WAS CONSTANTLY VIEWED as a quiet but moody man. He communicated through glares, punches, and the occasional words. It was known that the man hardly showed affection—no, he hardly showed any type of emotion at all. The straw hats knew that he was one to be left alone whenever a fight went wrong, or to leave as he napped in his hammock for the fifth time in one day.
To others, his muscly stature and three katanas glued to his side were enough of a warning to steer clear of the man’s path. It was fair to say that Zoro was intimidating, scary, even. His deep voice sent shivers down people’s spines, his eerie smirk when he was ready to cause mischief was terrifying, his incomprehensible strength was capable of killing people.
Zoro was dangerous, and it was known by all.
Yet there was a crack in his shell, right where his heart laid. He first met you in a village when he was on the search for pirate, the charming lady at the crystal stand, begging for passing pedestrians attention. He stopped, pretending to be interested in the many objects carved out of glass when he’d actually been attracted in by your looks. The beautiful puffy cheeks that had a natural red hue, the plump lips, soft eyes. You were beautiful to him. After hitting him with a few flirty comments, he’d finally told you the reason for his stop on the island. Luckily, you had all the details he needed to find the pirate and let him collect the couple million berries he was worth.
You offered him a date, disguising it as an innocent cup of tea, but the looks you two shared when you were alone spoke far louder then he’d ever dare to say. In exchange for ‘date’ you gave some information on the pirate he was searching for. In that moment you’d managed to slither your way through the crack in his chest and strike his heart, shooting a foreign feeling into his veins.
It was love.
The Roronoa Zoro had fallen for a crystal glass vender and her stupidly cute smile. He could hardly bring himself to leave you that night, spending the whole evening discussing far more then the pirate he was searching for. But he did, he slept that night with only you on his mind.
The next day, after he’d shoved the dismembered head of pirate into a sack, he went straight back to you, thanking you for the help and leaving a single kiss on the knuckles of you hand. You weren’t sure if you’d ever see him again as his ship sailed off into the horizon, but you knew that the love in your heart was enough to prove what once was.
The next time, Zoro didn’t have a reason to be there. No Pirate to hunt down, nothing. He only wanted to see you again, and he desperately hoped that you hadn’t found someone else to capture your heart.
You still stood in the same place as before, the time apart made you seem like you’d grown even more beautiful then the last time. Your hair was longer, he noted. But the smile you held as a little girl passed by, curiously looking at the shimmering glasses with wonder was familiar. He trudged up slowly, his heart beating straight out of his chest as he kept his eyes on only you, it was a strange sensation. He felt nerves bubbling up in stomach, a thin layer of sweat made his hands clammy and he hid kind with scrambled with the right thing to say.
“Do you know where I can buy flowers?” Zoro suddenly spoke up, making you shoot your head up from the little girl. A maroon shade had tinted your cheeks, mouth stuttering open as you gazed up at him.
“Uh..Mrs. Poppins can help you, right over there.” You pointed a shaky finger towards the stand just a few steps away, an old woman with a variety of flowers waiting to be bought.
“Thanks.” Zoro smirked, nodding as he walked off, not another word spoken.
“Is that your boyfriend?” The young girl asked innocently, round the staring up at you.
“No, no, he’s not my boyfriend.” You chuckled, staring over at where he was, exchanging some berry for a bouquet of tulips. You just watched in utter confusion, the man you couldn’t stop thinking about just casually dropped by to ask for some flowers?
Every since he left you’d been dreaming about marrying the man, but you just assumed he was a distant memory you’d hold on to forever. He’d remain your husband in just your own dreams, never to become reality. Zoro walked back, a his smirk now dripping into a nervous smile as he held out the bouquet.
“It’s nice to see you, do you have any more of that tea?” He asked so softly that if any outsider that knew Zoro would be absolutely flabbergasted at the sight of him being such gentle man. The fact that he was blushing, he was nervous, a love confession sitting at the tip of his tongue because you’d never left his mind since that one day.
You swallowed down heavily, shyly taking the flowers and probably blushing like a fool. You held a bashful smile, nodding in response as decided to close down your stand for the day.
“You sure he isn’t your boyfriend.” The girl whispered, super discrete, making you giggle and shake out head. You gently shooed her away, leaving the two of you alone while Zoro chuckled at her words.
That was only the first couple times he’d visited you, each time he’d open more and more. His cold exterior melted into a protective lover that kept you warm at night. You were very aware of his dangerous job and just how brutal it was, it definitely worked you but Zoro always brushed off your concerns. Each time he left to hunt down a pirate you’d constantly await, staring at the port whenever you walked past, it hoping you’d see a familiar boat.
As of recently, you’d been ripping your hair out with absolute worry. Zoro had promised that he’d be back home within a week, it was now approaching nearly three weeks. You were mortified, unable to know if he was dead or alive at the moment. You truly tried to rid your mind of the bad thoughts, you knew the sea was a complicated part of nature, it could throw any sudden hit that broke you down. Maybe that’s what happened, but despite tricking your own mind you still lived day in and day out with a anxious feeling swirling in the pit of your stomach.
Every night you cooked food that was just enough for two servings, making sure to be prepared in case he suddenly came home. You made sure his side of the bed was always made, yet every night it remained cold and empty. You’d dreaded waking up each morning without him there, and today wasn’t any different. You dragged yourself out of bed, got ready, made breakfast, ate as his empty chair glared at you from across the table, and went to sell some crystal glasses.
Your chants as pedestrian passed by echoed in the cluttered alleyway, people occasionally stopping, others giving you glared for your loudness. It was all part of the business, you served tea to those who’d spent the entire day wandering the hot streets. Or travelers that were curious, wondering how much of a difference a crystal glass made to a regular one.
“Pirates, incoming!” A bearded elder screeched, collecting a handful of working men to help dock the large boat. You didn’t even give it a second glance, you saw the Jolly Roger of a never seen before ship. They didn’t look to be threatening so you didn’t may it any mind. You would’ve been sprinting if it was a one of hose infamous crews that destroyed villages like the Buggy crew. Or, if you saw a familiar mess of green hair from ajar. But you saw neither, therefore it was best to continue serving the foreigner that had taken interested in a specific collection.
He eventually gave you some berry, placing the wrapped up pieces into his basket before he walked away. You sighed, leaning back against the chair and counting up how much you’d received. Some days were better then most, no glasses on the shelf, or you’d have all of them still waiting to be bought. Although, everyday you wiped them till they flowed in the sun and proudly showed them off.
You’d turned your to watch as the workers helped dock the ship at the small port, rushing around like madmen. It was a strange ship, it’s figurehead unlike any you’d seen before; a sheep. The Jolly Roger could hardly been taken serious, a very crooked skull with a hat atop of its head, nothing scream ‘not a threat’ more then that. It made you chuckle even more when a young boy in a straw hat skipped off, feet loudly clanking against the wood with a happy smile. He must’ve been the captain, his hat far too similar to the one on the flag to not be. He was
Followed by his crew, a unique set of people that you’d never even think to be on the same ship. A girl with fiery red hair, a boy with patched up overalls, a man in a slick suit, and finally a swordsman with a confident stride. You gasped, eyes focusing on the final man and his messy green locks. You bolted to your feet so quick that you’d nearly knocked over your precious crystals and shattered them on the cobblestone.
Zoro’s eyes scanned the village, a map of the whole place already embedded into his head as he searched for one woman. It wasn’t hard to find you, because you’d began sprinting for your life towards him which caught all of the crews attention. It was like miracle was suddenly born, a once in a lifetime moment seen, a one in a millón chnace of witnessing this.
Zoro smiled.
And not just a smug smirk he’d show off whenever Nami rejected Sanji’s compliments. Or when he’d defeated another enemy that had threatened the crew, nothing like that. His mouth completely widened, pearly teeth on display. His arms were wide open, inviting whoever you were into his warm embrace. You’d nearly tackled him, but Zoro was pure muscle and hardly even flinched as you tightly wrapped your arms around him, legs following but around his waist instead.
The same broody swordsmen they once knew was acting all sappy with whoever the hell you were. Your touch not even being questioned as it wandered from his neck to the tangled mess of his hair. It was truly a shocking sight to see, words unable to come out of the crew’s mouth.
“You had me worried sick.” You muttered into his neck, words muffled by the polyester shirt that smelt just like him. It filled your senses and relieved that pressure you had building in your stomach.
“I know, I’m so sorry, beautiful.” He whispered into your hair, leaving a light peck as your feet lowered from his waist to the floor. “But I always come back to you, don’t I?”
You smiled softly, hands resting against his chest as your neck craned up to look at his tall stature. “You do, and I thank the heavens everyday for that.” You glanced at the awkwardly silent crew behind him, “Who are they?”
“They, are the reason I’m so late.”
“We’re his crew!” A man in a strawhat happily said, waving enthusiastically as he bounced in the heels of his feet. “We’re on a mission to sail to the grand line so we can find the One Piece and become King of the Pirates!”
You stared in disbelief, a brow arched in confusion while the green-haired swordsman let out a loud sigh. “It’s a long story.”
Tumblr media
“I’VE NEVER SEEN HIM SO…” NAMI wasn’t sure how to pinpoint the word she was looking for as she watched Zoro casually chuckle and flirt with you in the kitchen. He new persona gave Sanji a run for his money, that glint of adoration in his eye far to familiar to the girl. “So…expressing?”
It was the best thing she could come up with. Never did she think that he’d be so loose and be smiling so much, especially towards a complete stranger he’d never even mentioned. There was years of built up love they’d never heard of from Zoro, and strangely, it was a lot to process. You’d been very kind and invited them into your home, allowing them to rest on the couch and use the running water for their needs while plating a few serves of your fresh soup. Nothing compared to the chef’s cuisines, but enough to soothe the hunger and give a comforting warmth that hopefully calmed any tense air.
After all, from what Zoro had told you, this crew was tightly knitted together due to all the strange adventured they’d gone through in the past month. Introducing yourself, an outsider, to them and immediately getting accept was unlikely. But it seemed as if one member was more then ready to accept, especially with the peace offering of food.
Luffy.
The young captain that lead them through their tough battles with a clown pirate, a man with an axe hand, a fast butler, and god knows what else Zoro told you about.
You nearly murdered him with your glare when he sheepishly told you about his battle against Mihawk. Huffing and rolling his eyes as you pushed past the fabric of his shirt and noticed the bandages wrapped around his torso.
“I’m fine.”
“You’re an idiot!” You hummed, walking past him to serve up the first plate to Luffy who’s eagerly ate more then half the fruits in the bowl adorned in center of your table. You gave him a smile as he thanked you, immediately gripping the spoon and shoving the hot meal in his mouth.
“You should join our crew!” Luffy muttered through a full mouth, “You’ll have the future King of the Pirates as your captain!”
“No, you should not.” Zoro immediately cut through, his tone stern and expression just as mean.
“That’s not a bad idea.” You shoot back quickly, walking towards the dish cabinet and opening it. “I always have to stay back, worrying for your safety as you sail for weeks.” You grunted as you attempted to reach for a bowl on the higher levels of the shelf. “Maybe being out at sea with you would be good for change.”
You suddenly felt the swordsmen’s warm presence clash against you back, toned arm easily reaching the said bowl. “I strongly disagree.” He placed a hand on your hip as you turned to send him a look.
That specific look where a message was sent in utter silence. By the furrow of your brow, the slight pout in your lower lip, the squint of your eyes, Zoro understood what you were trying to say. “I strongly agree.” You brushed passed him, filling up the bowl with your steaming soup, “but,” you set it down in front of the boy with the dark brown locks, Usopp. “We’ll discuss this later.” You whispered towards the green haired man, lightly patting his chest as you pointed up to the shelf.
After the dinner, you tidied up your shared bedroom, readying any blankets and pillows needed to make the crew comfortable for the night. The strawhats busied themselves with the kitchen, refusing to let you lift a hand after the delicious meal. Zoro walked in not to long after, recognizing his foot steps. Even without his boots his feet still dragged along the floor harshly.
“It is later.” He simply said as you rolled your eyes, folding up a fluffy, knitted blanket as he approached the bed. “I don’t think you should come along, it dangerous.”
“Do you want me to introduce you to my husband who’s capable of holding three swords at once, and even without them he can still kill someone in cold blood with his stare?” You looked up at him with a raised brow, “Because I feel like you two would get along just nicely.”
It was now his turn to roll his eyes, “I won’t always be there, y’know, I could be distracted with someone else and you could get taken from me.”
“Then I’ll learn to fight, besides, I already know a few moves just from watching your intense training lessons every morning.” You carried the load of blankets as you nodded towards the pillows, “Mind taking that, sweetheart?”
He immediately followed after you with the stack of pillows, “It’s not that simple.”
“It really is, you’re just making it harder then it has to be.” You reply over your shoulder as you set the blankets down, Zoro following just after. “Home knitted blankets for all, I have an open space in our guest bed room and on the couch!”
“Thank you.” Sanji gave you an appreciative nod, cupping your hands gently as he spoke. “You’re help has meant a lot.”
You took his physical gesture as a simple act of kindness, returning the smile he gave you before Zoro stepped in with an outstretched hand.
“Watch it, waiter.”
“I was only being nice, moss head.”
“This is my house you’re in—“
“Our house.” You separated the two before the blonde could spit out an insult, lightly pushing Zoro away and back into the bedroom. “Calm down, okay?” This action was just another thing to add to the list of strange occurrences. Nami and Usopp shared a mixture of shock and confusion. The you literally bossed around Zoro without an ounce of fear was…crazy. The swordsman, despite being very dedicated to the crew, was more of a independent man who made his own rules. He wasn’t one to listen, especially when someone tries to force him to do so.
But your light push and soft words immediately had him backing of, albeit a bit annoyed, but still complying. You sighed softly and turned back to the crew, smiling kindly. “I hope you all sleep well, if you need anything at all ask me.” You glanced behind you, making sure your husband was occupied with something else as you lowered you’re voice. “Don’t try to ask that idiot anything, trust me, he doesn’t know a thing.”
A mix of quiet chuckled and laughs were shared between the strawhats until Zoro appeared behind you with furrowed brows. “Did you say something?”
You shook your head innocently, placing your hands on his chest and making him walk backwards towards the bed. “Nope, just wishing them a good night.” You shut the door with one last wave to the crew before turning back.
He grumbled in response, rummaging through a small drawer for some sweatpants. You undressed and slipped on a short nightgown, a new one you’d bought not too long ago. You weren’t aware how a simple piece of pink Cotten had Zoro utterly entranced. His eyes burned a hole into your back as you smoothed out any wrinkles.
“Is that new?” He mumbled casually, climbing under the cold covers. “It looks good on you.”
You smiled bashfully, gaze lowering shyly while you played with your fingers. “Ya like it?” He hummed in responds, crawling across the bed to reach you and pull you by the waist. You giggled softly, collapsing onto the mattress, trapped in by his arms.
It’d been so long since you laid in bed and actually appreciated its coziness, how the blankets trapped in a perfect amount of warmth. You’d gotten so lost in the nights silence, but with the company of your husbands soft breathing and occasional peck to the neck you’d sunken back into a comfortable state. You no longer felt that aching loneliness, now you had him to keep you warm, it made you think back to the previous discussion.
Nothing was ever really discussed after Sanji got involved, no offical answer was ever thrown out. Though you knew that the aching loss of your lover wasn’t anything you ever wanted to experience again. It would be different now that he’s on a offical crew, a crew that was in a mission to a very dangerous place. And based on their current experiences so far he’d most likely be gone for far more then just a month or two. Whether Zoro wanted to accept it or not, the sea was just as much as a threat to him as to you.
You had to be with them when they left to continue their journey, even if you had to sneak on.
Tumblr media
“WHEN I TOLD YOU THAT YOU NEEDED a shower last night this wasn’t exactly what I was referring to.” You mutter, smothering a handful of body soap onto your shoulder and arms. Zoro had decided that he’d join you for the lovely warm shower you were having that morning. Causally ripping open the curtain and stepping in like he payed the bills.
His sly hands came up to assist you in rubbing the soap, dragging in a painfully slow pace along your skin. His his warm breath tickling the shell of your ear as he spoke, “At least I’m doing it.” He mumbled, large hands cupping your tits which lured out a gasp. You melted under the warm water, unsure if the trickling of it was the cause for your the burning sensation pricking your skin. Or maybe it was his teasing touch, his light pecks against your neck, pinches to your sensitive nipples. You threw your head against his shoulder with closed eyes. “Can’t I just spend some time with you?”
“After these past months you can spend as much time with me as you want.” You could practically feel the smirk of his lips, he lowered his head to capture your lips, indulging in that fact that he could officially make out with you.
Three harsh slams to the drawer caught your attention, snapping your gaze to the side in confusion. “Luffy, please hurry, it’s my turn.” Nami shouted before her footsteps retreated away. You huffed, bending down for the shampoo bottle. This gave Zoro the opportunity to grip your hips, reminiscing on the nights he had you in the same position. Only the constant patter of the falling water was replaced with the slap of sweaty skin on skin. You shot him a smile over your shoulder, standing straight as you raised a brow.
“You heard her.” You teased, running your fingers through his wet hair while he rolled his eyes in response. “C’mon, the sooner we’re outta’ here the sooner we can have the bedroom to ourselves.”
With that he grumbled, leaning down a bit to let squeeze a blob of shampoo into his green hair. Despite his obvious hard cock, he’d hold back on any touches because of the utter relaxation that was your fingers scratching his scalp as you lathered the bubbly liquid. How smoothly you rang your hands through his tangled locks, giving him that innocent smile whenever he lets out a quiet moan. It’s like you knew the affect your touch had in him, which you probably did but chose to be a teasing shit about it.
His tender muscles were beginning to soften, he constant state of being on guard collapsing with each motion of your hand. You finally let the water rinse everything out after a while, continuing to detangle. His hair wasn’t too long, so it was a simple task that took less then ten minutes. He grumbled as your touch disappeared, going on to shampoo and condition your own hair.
There was a comfortable silence after, the both of you showered like it was any other, occasionally kissing whenever wanted. The only issue was that it took far longer then expected. By the time you twisted the knob and shut off the after Nami had returned to the door, now being even more agitated with her knocks.
“Luffy, seriously, I need to go!” She shouted, waiting a few seconds before groaning. “What the hell are you even doing that’s taking so long.” Another beat of silence. “Luffy!”
“Yeah?” The curly haired boy walked out the guest bedroom with a confused look, wondering why she’d been shouting his name in such a angered tone.
Nami face dropped, bries furrowing as she turned to the wooden door like it was doing to speak to her. “If you’re not in there, then who—“
Zoro swung the door open, toweled wrapped around his waist while water dripped from his bare torso to the floor. His eyes glared at the girl, brushing past her casually as you sheepishly followed after. Her eyes widened, mouth dropped open and words stuck in her throat, unable to say anything.
“Wha—were they..oh my god.” She stuttered confusingly, mind attempting to process what she’d just stumbled upon.
“Were they showering together?” Luffy asked curiously, “That’s really smart, it helps save on water.” He smiled widely, patting her shoulder before walking off into the kitchen.
“Gross.” The Orange-haired girl muttered, sighing as she finally walked into the bathroom and rethought her whole point of view on the swordsman.
That same day, the crew had begun packing all their things. Readying the ship with fresh supplies, food, and a potential new member. You’d already had a large bag prepared, determined on boarding the Merry whether Zoro liked it or not. Clearly, he didn’t, because he was throwing out every excuse to make you now walk any further out the house.
“What if someone breaks in while you’re not here, huh, all of our stuff and memories could be taken.” Zoro crossed his muscly arms, blocking the front door of the home.
“Zoro, this is a nice town, nobody is gonna steal from me, and they already know who my husband is, to even think about stealing from here foolish.” You once again attempted to walk further but were met with a solid chest, you hugged out a groan.
“Okay, but they clearly see me leaving so that would leave ab opportunity open—“
“Zoro.” You warned, “Stop.” The man let out a sigh, shutting his mouth and rolling his eyes. “I don’t care what you have to say, I’m going with you. I swear if I have to live another day waiting on an empty bed for you, not knowing if it’ll remain vacant forever or if you’ll come back, I will die.”
“I’ll write letters or something.” He countered, much softer now that he heard your sentimental reasoning. If he was being honest with himself, having you with him on the journey to the Grand Line would be amazing. Much more comfortable sleeping with you in his hammock then alone, but he refused to ever out you in a situation where danger could come any moment.
“Zoro, my love, please.” You whispered, staring up at him so beautifully, eyes gleaming with hope as your lips frowned softly. He examined your features, taking them in and finding any new details to burn to his memory. “I don’t want to be alone anymore.” You lifted your left hand, gripping his own and showcased the rings. “We made vows, promises to each other, to always be together through anything.”
He eyes gloomed, leaning down to peck the stone on your finger. “I know.” He whispered, fiddling with your fingers as he went silent, mind attempting to finding another way, another excuse, but he couldn’t. The pros weighed out the cons in the on going battle of his consciousness. “Get your things, we’ll be leaving soon.”
The smile that took over your features was one that was more rewarding then any kind of berry he’d ever received. The way you jumped up and practically squealed, hugging him tightly and kissing his cheek with the a constant repetition of ‘thank you’ was adorable. He cracked a small smile, because of you, chuckling softly at your excited state.
You’d taken all your pre packed bags and begun dragging them towards the boat, practically skipping with each step. Usopp was loading in boxes of supplies, glancing up at the sound of your approaching footsteps.
“Woah, no way Zoro let you travel with us.” He smiled, taking your bags from your hands. “I’ll take these and out ‘em in his room, it’s good to have you with us!”
“Thank you, Usopp.” You nodded thankfully, looking back to see Zoro just a few feet behind you with a grumpy look. “Don’t mind his attitude, this wasn’t he choice..partially.”
“Why do you have her things?” Zoro asked, approaching the boy with a glare.
“Oh—I was just going to put in your room since she’s kinda new so she probably doesn’t know about the ship. But the great captain Usopp can help! Just being a good crew member.” The bit rambled nervously under the swordsman gaze.
“Yes, and I appreciate your help.” You said, emphasizing your words as you looked up at the man. “Now, would you mind showing me around, my love?”
Zoro let out a huff, allowing you to hook your arm around his as he trudged around the whole ship. He gave little explanations, simply stating what each part was and does, you had to ask questions for him to actually be specific.
“This is the kitchen, nothing special, no reason to be in here too long.” He walked in and was already stepping back out at the sight of the blonde chef cooking up a meal.
Sanji turned at sound of his voice, smiling brightly, but at you. He’d never dream of giving such a big grin to Zoro, “Ah, the Mrs, what do I owe the pleasure of?”
You pulled away from Zoro’s arm, who was clearly attempting to tug you away. “Just getting use to this place now that I’ll be on it for awhile.” You smile happily, “Smells lovely, can’t wait to get a taste of what everyone’s been raving about.”
“Yes, of course, I’ll be sure to put in extra love for your meal, our newest member.” It was in the French mans blood to be such a flirt, his charming smile practically imbedded into his features.
You nodded in appreciation, though quickly frowned when you heard the man beside you let out a low groan. “I told you to watch it, waiter.”
“Only being my usual self, no need to be so protective.” The blonde replied casually, turning back to his sizzling work. “It’s not like we’re in your house, anyway.”
“What did you say?” Zoro growled, “You give her another one of your stupid smiles I’ll cut off your lips, you bastard chef!”
“You’re just mad because you know she had the misfortune of marrying you, algae.”
“Okay, enough is enough, let’s move on to the next part.” You chuckled with humorlessly, pushing the man out of the kitchen before a hot pot was thrown at his head. “Jesus, you two really don’t get along.”
He lets out a sigh and rolls his eyes, “He’s just an ass who knows how to make me mad.” The two of you moved across the deck, walking into a small hideaway with little decoration except for a hammock strung up. You noticed your things piled up in the corner, already placed there by the lovely Usopp. “I’m happy you’re sailing with us.”
You were a bit taken aback by his statement, his soft tone familiar but unexpected. Nonetheless, you smiled, wrapping both your arms around his neck and craning your head up to gaze into his eyes. “And I’m happy to be here, with you.”
“I’ll finally have someone to properly sharpen my swords.” He said with a chuckle as you rolled your eyes and slapped his chest, walking back out to look at the view of the beaming sun. The door cracked open ajar letting the light pool in.

“Can I come in?” You asked innocently, knocking on the doors of the workshop.
“Of course, tesoro,” a soft voice answered, one you had been waiting to hear since you woke up that morning.
Yes, starting a romance with Donna Beneviento may have been unexpected, but it certainly wasn't something you regretted at all. Only someone like you dared to sell her vegetables beyond the safe limit of the village, going to that dark forest leading to the old estate.
Donna was a strange woman, a powerful Lord, but she certainly made you anything but afraid when you met her. Self-conscious about her appearance, about the changes that the Cadou produced in her body, the doll maker closed even more into herself. Nothing that the cheeky and cheerful (Y/N) couldn't change, of course.
After several months of dating, you realized that sometimes, all a person needs is love.
“I bring you some tea,” you said, carrying a tray with two cups. She looked at you from her work table and put on one of her beautiful smiles. You weren't going to lie, that's precisely why you were doing it.
“You are very kind, (Y/N),” Donna said softly, caressing your hand and making you blush.
You smiled satisfied and sat in a nearby chair, leaving the tray on the table.
“Wait, wait,” she said, interrupting your attempt to grab your own cup. “Sit on the other side,” she commented, pointing to the opposite side from where you were.
“What? Why?” You asked with a frown.
She stopped in her work of painting a porcelain head and slowly pointed to the defect on the right side of her face. You huffed and rolled your eyes.
“Donna...” You sighed, tired of her complexes. “What difference does it make?”
“I prefer you to see the good part of my face,” she murmured, pretending to return to her work. You stood up and grabbed her shoulders tightly, leaning into her ear.
“You're beautiful, my love...” You whispered, giving Donna a soft kiss on her cheek. “I don't know how I have to tell you.”
She laughed sheepishly, pushing away your little harassment and shaking her head, but grabbing your wrist so you leaned down to kiss her on the lips.
“Too kind, (Y/N),” she whispered, running a hand over your chest and smiling for a moment before returning with the porcelain.
You nodded and obeyed her request, reluctantly switching sides.
“What are you doing?” You asked, taking a sip from your cup and watching with curiosity how her skilled hands worked. She didn't look at you, but another beautiful smile formed on her face.
“Well, I'm painting some heads," she explained, dipping the small brush with paint. You made a strange and funny face.
“Wow... In a different context it could sound a bit… Scary,” you said with a dark voice, to which Donna shook her head, amused by your comments.
“Shall I paint yours?” She asked, jokingly, running the tip of the brush across your nose, to which you immediately stepped back, wiping away the water she left on your skin.
“I thought I was much prettier without makeup, or so you said,” you whispered ironically, making the lady in black blush.
“You're always pretty, tesoro,” Donna responded, as always, not knowing that it was just a joke.
You should have known that a human relationship was an absolute mystery for her. Still, you were fascinated by her innocence.
“Well, well who's being too kind now?” You said, moving a little closer and kissing her cheek again. Donna paused for a moment, capturing your lips in a quick kiss.
Watching her work was almost hypnotic. A woman like Donna had nothing else to do but make those sinister dolls. Her loneliness had given her great mastery in that aspect. You looked at her with your head resting on your hand, repeating to yourself over and over again that you had been tremendously lucky to have Donna by your side.
“What?” Donna asked when she noticed your erratic thoughts and your lost gaze. You shook your head, smiling wider.
“Nothing, I’m looking at you,” you responded with a soft voice, sighing.
“You’re looking at me...” Lady Beneviento repeated, shaking her head, with a shy smile.
“You know it's my favorite hobby,” you said amused, moving the chair closer to hers.
“I thought your favorite hobby was to play hide-and-seek with Angie,” she said, without looking away from that sinister head.
“Do you think so? That's an obligation, not a hobby,” you joked, crossing your arms, sighing. “I prefer to keep her happy.”
Donna smiled again and shook her head, leaving that freshly painted head somewhere you could see it.
“What do you think?” She asked curiously, wiping off the paint with her hands.
“It’s…Gloomy,” you said, nodding, feeling a chill. Certainly, dolls were never your best friends, and even more so in the dark.
The lady looked at her work confused, searching for any flaw.
“Hey, hey, it was a joke, it’s beautiful, Donna,” you said, holding back your laughter. “Just like you,” you finished with a sensual voice, which made her suddenly look at you with a strange face.
“It seems that you are very flattering today,” she sighed, embarrassed by your eternal compliments, while she continued studying that sinister head.
You shrugged with an innocent smile. No, not innocent at all.
“Your body has also woken up quite a bit... Flattering this morning,” you said quietly, leaning closer to her ear. Donna seemed frightened by those words and she raised her knee to the table reflexively, causing the porcelain to shake.
“Well, I...” She explained with a broken voice, knowing exactly what you were referring to.
“Have you dreamed of me?” You asked, slurring your words in a mischievous way, to make her nervous, which you had already achieved.
“I always dream of you,” Donna responded, with a calmer tone, but with her breathing a bit labored. Well, that's what you wanted.
“Mmm,” you murmured, blinking repeatedly. “A nice dream, for sure. I think you were so happy...”
“Oh, well, that,” She said, shaking her head, understanding what you were getting at. “I'm sorry.”
“Why do you apologize?” You asked, amused, incredulous.
“Sometimes I... I wake up with... With it…. Hard … It's not because of anything in particular, it sometimes happens to me, that's all,” she explained to which you rolled your eyes.
“Donna,” you said, ignoring her absurd explanations and gently taking her face in your hands to force her to look at you. It was better to be direct with Donna. Otherwise she would never get the hint. She nodded with her eye wide and a confused expression. “Tell me, how long have we not made love?”
She couldn't help but look surprised, and pretended to think about it. The heat on her cheeks was quite evident.
“Um, I, I don't know, maybe, maybe three days,” she stammered, avoiding looking into your eyes.
“Four,” you corrected with a severe tone, but with the same tender look. “A long time, don't you think?”
Donna shook her head erratically. Certainly, she didn't know what to answer. Intimacy was always something she was terribly ashamed of, and you always took advantage of it.
“Oh, it is?” She asked with a trembling voice, while your hands slowly descended down her chest. Before her lips said something stupid again, you put a finger on them.
“Don't worry. It has an easy solution,” you purred, very close to her lips. She looked at you confused, but before she could react, you kissed her passionately, moving the chair closer again.
“Wait, (Y/N). Not here,” she protested timidly, nervous about the wet kisses that gave her no respite.
“Why not?” You asked, getting up from the chair to sit on top of her, on her lap.
“I have, I have to finish this work and...” Donna stammered as your hands traveled up her dress in a hurry, matching the soft movements of your hips.
“You'll do it later,” you said, dismissing her and unbuttoning the top of her dress, running your hand over her bare skin and making her gasp nervously, but excitedly.
“Sei molto impaziente,” Donna whispered, joining your kisses, your soft movements, overwhelmed by your tireless lust.
You smiled and moved your eyebrows triumphantly, sliding her black dress over her shoulders, revealing that soft pale skin that drove you crazy.
“You already know me,” you whispered in her ear, making her arms hug your waist, continuing with your kisses, with your caresses. “When I like something... It's hard for me to wait for it.”
She laughed and sighed, giving up. Actually, her body already gave her away seconds before, when you began to feel her own arousal pressing between your legs.
The wet sounds of kisses were rhythmically linked to your gasps. Your bodies moved with each other and your hands traveled lower and lower, gently stroking her erection and releasing it from its prison.
“Are you in a hurry?” Donna asked, surprised by your hasty gesture. You made a perverse face, but you didn't respond. You simply set about releasing yourself from your own underwear, leaving your dress on. You knew that turned her on.
“You're in a hurry,” you said with a serious tone, positioning her shaft at your wet and burning entrance, going down little by little, making her close her eye and moan from the contact. “Didn't you say you wanted to finish those dolls?”
“I…” The lady in black gasped, grabbing your body to steady you as she plunged inside. “I, I guess they can wait…”
Your walls slowly stretched, making you enjoy every inch of her erection inside of you, making your body adapt little by little, causing you immense pleasure, which you expressed with a not quiet moan.
“Shh, not that loud, tesoro, Angie can hear us...” Donna scolded you, moving her hips, making the pleasure of feeling you much more intense.
You laughed amused, finding the perfect position for you to start moving on top of her.
To prevent the doll from being alerted by your loud moans, the lady in black launched herself at your lips, forming a slow but at the same time hurried rhythm, letting your body rise and fall just as she needed it, just as you needed it.
You hung on to her neck, dancing with your hips to provoke her own moans, which you achieved shortly after.
When your hips began to shake too much, a horrible sound filled the room, the ring of a telephone.
“No, no, no, no. Don't even think about it, Donna,” you said, guiding her chin so she looked at you, noticing how her movements stopped little by little and her gaze turned towards the hallway.
“But, but it could be important,” she protested, which you prevented by grabbing her body more firmly and moving your hips so her shaft danced inside you as you liked.
“Wait, wait a moment… If it's important, they'll call again,” you said a bit desperately. “I'm so close, darling... Please...”
“No, I…” Donna said, making you moan as she lifted you by your legs, getting out and sitting you on the table, leaving you with your mouth open and your brows furrowed. “Wait for me, okay? I'll be right back.”
“Donna! Get back here! Now!” You screamed getting off the table, watching in horror as her erection was hidden again in the fabric of her dress as the lady ran towards the hallway. “Donna! Shit...” You sighed annoyed, crossing your arms and picking up your underwear from the stone floor of the workshop.
You snorted again and again. You were so close... And someone had the audacity to interrupt. Of course, Donna's duties as Lords of the village were her top priority, although you didn't imagine it was enough to leave you in that state.
“So? It was that important?” You asked annoyed, already fully dressed. She entered the workshop embarrassed, fastening her buttons again, letting you understand that this would not continue.
“No, well... I have, I have to go to a meeting,” she said, unable to look you in the eye, of course.
“Now?” You asked immediately, letting out all the rage inside you in the form of a sigh. “Donna… It's almost time for dinner.”
“It will only be a moment. Afterwards, we can have a romantic dinner and watch a movie, what do you think?” She said, putting on her dress and her messy hair due to your restless hands.
“What? Oh no, you're going to come back here and finish what you've started, my love,” you said in a threatening tone, approaching Donna and making her step back, nervous.
“Um, yes, yes, but, after the movie,” she said hurriedly, giving you a quick kiss and putting on that horrible veil, to which you groaned, helplessly.
“After the…? Oh, okay, whatever, Donna,” you sighed in annoyance, crossing your arms. The lady in black sighed as well, lifting your chin with two fingers.
“Don't be mad at me, tesoro,” she whispered, with that voice that made it impossible for you to feel any resentment towards her. Sometimes she seemed innocent, sometimes not that much. sometimes she seemed like she knew you better than you knew yourself.
You pulled away and tried to hide that small smile that formed on your face, shaking your head.
“You better make me the best lasagna in the world,” you hissed amusingly, to which she nodded with a shy laugh, leaving the workshop and leaving you alone and unsatisfied.
At least she kept that promise, as always.
It was a quiet dinner, free of hard feelings. The heat that was in your body dissipated little by little in the light of the candles and the taste of that soft and fruity wine.
“Okay, okay, it actually was the best lasagna in the world,” you said, pretending to be defeated, earning a pleased smile from Donna, a warm and affectionate smile. “Well, then… What do we do now? To the bedroom?” You asked impatiently.
Donna sighed and shook her head, reaching out with her hand to caress yours.
“No, now we're going to watch a movie,” she told you softly, which made you roll your eyes again and turn away from her caresses.
“So when…?”
“After the movie,” Donna said before you finished the question. “I told you before I left.”
“Oh, of course... Before you left me alone and desolate...” You joked, exaggerating the offensive tone of your words.
“Don't be dramatic, tesoro,” Donna whispered, getting up from the table and caressing your cheek, forcing you to look at her. “I promise I'll make it up to you, okay?” She said with a tender voice, irresistible for you.
“Oh, of course you will...” You whispered as she walked away from you, walking towards the elevator, with a slightly cruel idea in your head.
The cold and calculating idea of revenge.
“Would you like this one?” The lady asked, already in her office, showing you one of the thousands of boxes she had, containing old movies. You nodded with a fake smile, which she didn't notice, thankfully.
“Come here,” you said, patting the small couch as the projector began to illuminate the white fabric. She nodded, sitting next to you, unprepared. Your revenge was near.
The first minutes were calm. You let poor Donna trust herself, caressing her hands, intertwining your fingers…. Nothing out of the ordinary, a romantic dinner and movie like the hundreds of them you had before your first kiss.
“But I'm not the policeman,” you said, reading the label of that silent movie. Donna laughed and looked at you tenderly.
“You know it, (Y/N),” she murmured, torturing you with her smile.
“Of course, it's one of my favorites,” you said, making a nice gesture of silence with your hand.
When you saw that the occasion was perfect, that Donna was distracted enough, you rested your body on hers, which she immediately hugged, placing a soft kiss on your hair.
It could be a tender moment, truly romantic, but you... Oh, yes, you wanted revenge.
Little by little, you raised your head to her neck, planting small kisses along the way, soft and innocent kisses for which she laughed shyly, oblivious to your true intentions. You bit your lip, moving your hand to her leg and up the black fabric of her dress.
She gasped in surprise, but she barely moved, assuming it was an affectionate gesture. Yes, Donna was so innocent...
Your kisses on her neck continued as your vengeful hand played with her body, caressing her leg, her belly, her chest… Everything but your main goal, which made Donna shiver with a chill.
She looked at you briefly, not with annoyance or tiredness. It seemed that your caresses had had the desired effect, since her lips approached yours, kissing them softly, slowly, in a tender and intense kiss. You smiled discreetly as her hands caressed your cheeks, pulling you towards her. You, a bit clouded by the pleasure of those kisses, remembered what your purpose was, and you put your hands on her chest, preventing her from getting closer.
“Shh, Donna, the movie,” you whispered in her ear, leaning her back against the couch and making her look at you amused, but disappointed. Just how you wanted her.
Far from stopping, you took advantage of that moment to let your hand rest on her leg again, holding it until Donna gasped in surprise at that burning touch. Her head turned back to kiss you. You didn't stop her, but you kept your distance.
Taking advantage of the distraction that those wet kisses provided. You raised your hand until you felt the area between her legs. Just like what you wanted, you wanted to feel it growing in the palm of your hand and that's what you would do.
“(Y/N)...” Donna whispered, among kisses, alerted by those soft caresses between her legs, caresses that were beginning to make her nervous.
“Does it make you nervous?” You asked amused, playing with the fabric, noticing how little by little, that lump was hardening in your hand while your mouth worked on her lips, on her neck...
“N, no... I, I like it,” she responded to your surprise, which made you raise an eyebrow and continue your soft movements, continue caressing her erection with your hand, through the fabric, just caressing, exciting her until she couldn't stand it anymore.
You smiled triumphantly, moving away from her but still caressing her. She looked at you with desire, with lust for that subtle touch. No, no, no. She wasn't going to get you to give up because of that.
Your hand left her shaft to rest on her cheek, causing her head to turn back to the illuminated screen.
“Look at the movie,” you whispered with a severe tone, but suggestive at the same time. Donna looked at you confused, blinking repeatedly, but she didn't say anything. She resigned herself to obey you, with a nervous breath and a prominent blush on her cheek.
You bit your lip again, reaching down to grab her dress so you could sneak it under the fabric, caressing her bare skin with your nails, making her gasp but not move.
Little by little your caresses intensified, reaching her underwear, which was unable to contain her arousal. You moaned at the contact, but held back, limiting yourself to running your hand along her covered shaft, gently, without rushing.
“What are you…?” The lady in black asked, looking at you curiously but with a pleased smile on her face.
“The movie, Donna,” you said, turning her head toward the screen again. She seemed confused, but your gentle touch pleased her enough not to complain. She was always so sensitive...
Donna nodded nervously, moving uncomfortably on the couch while your hand continued its fiery caresses and your mouth ravaged her neck, making her writhe in pleasure and close her eye.
You laughed, taking advantage of the fact that she didn't see you, and you pulled her erection out of the underwear, surrounding it with your hand, moving slowly, caressing the tip with your thumb. She didn't say anything, she just moaned at the feeling of your soft caresses on her most sensitive spot.
You moaned softly in her ear, showing your own desire as the embrace of your hand intensified a bit, just a bit, moving it up and down, trying to touch her as less as possible, making her moan at the sensation.
“Tighten me a little more, (Y/N)” Donna begged with a voice distorted by pleasure. You raised an eyebrow and obeyed, but only a little, just enough for her to relax again while you took care of her.
“Is that the way you like it, my love?” You asked with a velvety tone, making Donna nod profusely while your hand grabbed her harder, going up and staying at the tip, and then going down slowly, very slowly.
“Yes, yes...” she responded, heated and suffocated by your actions. Her hips moved to match the terribly slow movements of your hand, to get that rhythm she needed and you weren't going to give her.
“Shh...” You joked when you noticed how her shaft trembled in your hand. She wouldn't say it, but she was close, you could tell.
“Keep going, please,” Donna asked, her tone frustrated as your hand moved away from her erection to return to her legs, to the soft scratches of your nails on her soft skin. You smiled satisfied and shook your head.
“No, my love,” You whispered, making her look at you strangely and confused. “Oh, Donna, you're so good…” you said next, removing your hand from her dress to caress her cheek. “I love how sensitive you are.”
“Tha, thank you, (Y/N), but... But I...” she said confused, with a half smile and her hips asking for your hand to return. “Please, I want… I want…”
“Do you want some kisses? Of course, darling,” you said, ignoring the real question, ignoring her desperate cry for release.
The moisture that had formed between your legs was a sign that you liked that game, and much more than you thought. You supposed poor Donna, didn’t like it that much.
With a soft laugh, you leaned into her, kissing her tenderly, slowly, controlling the hunger you could feel on her lips, the attempts to get her hips to rub against yours.
“You are such a beautiful woman, Donna... You drive me crazy,” you whispered into her lips, making her look at you with a mixture of desire and confusion. “Did you know it?”
Donna nodded erratically, pleased by your soft words. She almost seemed to have forgotten about the need between her legs. You couldn't let that happen.
After a few tender moments of quiet kisses, your hand slipped back into the darkness of her dress, recovering her intact, trembling erection, and caressing it again.
Donna moved closer to you, as if not wanting you to abandon her again, moaning at the delicate and slightly faster movements of your hand on her sensitive area.
“I don’t want to make a mess on my dress but… I can't take it anymore, (Y/N),” she whispered, sounding terribly desperate. “Your hand is… Perfect…”
You slowed down again excited by those words that told you Donna was starting to lose control. The perfect time for revenge.
“Fine,” you said, jokingly, running your thumb over the shiny, wet tip, only to pull it away again, making Donna moan in annoyance.
“Are you playing with me?” She asked with a desperate tone. You had to stop yourself from laughing. She was so close… Maybe you had been too cruel.
“No, my love,” you responded in a soft tone, grabbing the hand that was tightly squeezing your chin. “You said you didn't want to make a mess on your dress ...” You purred, passing your hand through hers, which loosened its grip immediately. Donna looked at you with an almost painful grimace.
“Fanculo il vestito, (Y/N), please don't stop...” She said, with a hint of fury in her voice. You raised your eyebrows at her unusual expression.
“But Donna, don't talk that way,” you said amused, kissing her slowly on the lips, making her gasp and pull away from you abruptly, crossing her arms and kicking the wooden floor in a childish way. “You’re so beautiful... Don't say those ugly words.”
“You make me say them, (Y/N)” Donna sighed, putting a hand between her legs to relieve the tension on her aching and anxious shaft.
“Hey, keep your hands out, honey... We're watching a movie,” you said amused, withdrawing her hands, which made Donna snort with rage and look at you almost with hatred.
“Are are we watching it?” She asked ironically. You nodded and put on an innocent smile, wrapping your arms around her and pulling her head to your chest, caressing her comfortingly.
“Come on, be patient, when the movie is over I'll take care of you, okay? You are so beautiful, so delicate... I love you so much...” You said sighing, stroking her black hair with your fingers, enjoying that delicious lavender perfume.
“No, no, no. Now, (Y/N),” she said hurriedly, moving abruptly and leaning you against the couch, tugging at the edges of your underwear.
“How impatient you are, my love...” You said amused stepping back but letting your wet entrance exposed to torture her even more.
“I don't know who reminds me of,” she said, shaking her head, playing with her dress to release her erection and position it at your entrance, something that you prevented by sitting down again.
“Donna, stop,” you said amused, with a cheeky gesture with your finger. “Stay still, mm? I told you when the movie is over…”
She grunted, hanging her head and getting up from the couch, walking towards the projector. Knowing what her intentions were, you ran to prevent it.
“That's cheating, honey,” you said amused, guiding the woman towards the couch again, sitting her down in a comical way. “Sit down, there's not much left.”
“Well, well... So... So keep touching me,” Donna said angrily, gesturing for you to come back to her.
You shrugged, lying down next to her body and continuing your soft, tortuous caresses. The moans returned to the small office and her desperation was becoming more palpable, literally.
“Just like that, tesoro... I'm so close…” The lady said with a sigh of relief when she obtained that pleasure. “I'm going... I'm going to...”
Before she finished her sentence, you removed your hand again, making her moan sound more like a sob.
“Why, (Y/N)?” She asked with a look that made your body stir a little. No, you weren't going to falter, not at that moment, not so close to the end. “Is it because of this afternoon?”
You sighed, shaking your head, but with a smile on your face, looking out of the corner of your eye at the movie, which was already about to end. With an amused gesture, you caressed her cheek as she squirmed in frustration on the couch.
“No, it isn’t...” you said, exaggerating the words, showing what your true answer was. “I just want to finish watching the movie with this beautiful woman next to me, isn't it romantic?”
“You are an evil, vengeful witch,” Donna said, crossing her arms, looking down from time to time, trembling for the release she needed so bad.
“But you love me, right?” You asked in an innocent voice, caressing her cheek. Her furious expression relaxed with your gentle touch, causing her to give you a loving smile and nod slowly.
Donna tilted her head slightly to capture your lips. It wasn't an impatient or lustful kiss. It was different, almost like an apology.
“Forgive me for this afternoon, (Y/N). I know it wasn't fair, I'm so sorry,” she said softly, cupping your face in her hands and resting her forehead against yours.
“But...” You joked, biting your lip again, urging her to finish that sentence.
“Please, tesoro... Make me cum, please... It hurts...” She begged you in a low voice, wriggling again and putting pressure between her legs with her hand.
You sighed and looked at the screen, where a big, colorful “The end” indicated that it was time to end this unfair torture.
“Come on, look, the movie's over,” you said amused, kissing her fiercely, making your hand return to her erection, to which Donna moaned pleased. “You have been very good, Donna… You deserve to choose… Where do you want to do it?”
She smiled impatiently, wondering what the best option was. You knew her. Her finger rose pointing to your legs, now slightly open.
“Okay, honey, come here then,” you said in a loving tone, pulling her hand and kissing her again.
The intrusion was immediate, but it was rougher than usual, stretching your walls faster, but sending waves of pleasure inside of you.
“Hey, easy, Donna,” you joked, letting your body adapt little by little to her erratic, desperate movements.
“No, I'm not going to go easy, not now,” she said in a dark voice, grabbing you by the ankles and raising your legs while her thrusts went faster and faster.
You didn't care how painfully close she was, how much her erection throbbed inside you. She had suffered your revenge, and she deserved a reward.
“I'm close, Donna...” You said, letting yourself be carried away by those waves of pleasure, a pleasure that you had to contain throughout the entire movie.
“Oh, are you? Well, I'm sorry, (Y/N) but...” Donna said hastily, moaning with no discretion and staying deep inside you, finally releasing herself and covering you with her heat, filling you in a hungry way, caressing your walls with her warm seed. “I go first…”
You laughed, suppressing the instinct to continue moving for your own pleasure and caressing the woman in black, who fell into your chest, gasping with relief.
“It's been funny, hasn't it?” You asked, after a moment of silence, enjoying the love you felt with soft caresses.
“Funny?” She asked startled, getting up from your chest and looking at you with an accusing eye. “(Y/N)...”

How would your favorite jaune ship react to Adrian crawling onto their laps and calling them auntie?
Pyrrha: *wearing a nice dress and politely sitting on the couch in the Cotta-Arc residence as her hosts prepare tea/snacks*
Pyrrha: *blows out a big breath* Okay, so far so good! I’ve met Jaune’s sister and her wife, I’m wearing my nice-but-casual dress, and I haven’t made any mistakes or said anything embarrassing! 😮‍💨
Pyrrha: *feels something touch her knee*
Pyrrha: *looks down* 😕 ???
Adrian: *sitting on the floor beside the couch, sizing up the strange red-hair lady who came to visit with his uncle*

Pyrrha: Um…h-hello, little boy…?
Pyrrha: Oh, I hoped Jaune or his sister or her wife would be here when I met his nephew! I feel so awkward! 😰
Adrian: *raises his little hands and looks Pyrrha in the eye* 🤨
Pyrrha: Do…do you want up…?
Adrian: 🥺
Pyrrha: Um…okay, let me just…? *uncomfortably lifts Adrian under his arms and sets him on the couch beside her*
Pyrrha: T-that’s what you wanted, r-right?

Jaune: *in the Cotta-Arc kitchen, arranging snacks on a tray* Thanks for being chill with Pyrrha, Saph. Don’t tell her I told you, but she was so nervous on the way here that she almost made herself sick.
Saphron: No problem, baby bro! I know it’s scary meeting the family! *takes tray and steps through the kitchen door*
Saphron: *stops short*
Saphron: *leans back to the kitchen* Psst, Jaune! Come see what your girlfriend is doing!
Jaune: *looks over Saphron’s shoulder*
Pyrrha: *sitting on the couch with Adrian in her lap* Good job! Can you say it again? 😄
Adrian: Aun-ee! Aun-ee Py-ah! 😆
Pyrrha: That’s right! I’m your auntie Pyrrha! You’re so smart! Want me to make the bullhead fly again? *her hand glows black and Adrian’s toy bullhead lifts up and floats around*
Adrian: *squeals with laughter*
Jaune: *filming on his scroll* Oh my GODS…!
@cheeseater2 thanks for the ask! This is an especially fun one for me because I just met my infant nephew for the first time this week and, like Pyrrha, I was SUPER awkward at first! We’ve reached an understanding now!

⊰♤⊱⊰◇⊱⊰♡⊱⊰☆⊱⊰♧⊱⊰♤⊱⊰◇⊱⊰♡⊱⊰☆⊱⊰♧⊱
It has been a while since you’ve worn something as elegant as the dress that was a deep shade of green that was almost a midnight blue you’re wearing with all the black lace and pearls stitched into it. It was beautiful, that much you can at least honestly say, but there was still a problem.. ‘It’s too heavy..’ You’ve never fancied yourself to such stuffy dresses. The only thing you were quite happy with are the frills at the end of the sleeve that cups your wrists rather loosely. Honestly, you were partially grateful that you hadn’t been going out of the palace for as long as you’ve had, now remembering just how tight dresses could become. When you were but just a noble’s daughter, tea parties and balls were frequent so you had to wear ridiculously suffocating dresses. And it was like tea parties and gossiping were all the things that noble ladies had to think of for entertainment. Well, there were also the croquet games held in the palace of the Queen, but it was an invitation exclusive that you, sadly, were not invited to at all.
Now that you’re comparing dresses, you don’t recall your wedding dress being as tight compared to the suffocating dress you’re wearing. You wished the same tailor made the dress you’d wear tonight. ‘Or maybe it’s because the atmosphere was much more suffocating that I hadn’t noticed..’ The never prying eyes watched every step you took that day, waiting and wishing for you to trip; make a mistake. Since it was an important day for the kingdom, every noble family attended so you’re sure to meet most nobles at the party tonight too. Despite the scary eyes directed towards you that day, you wonder if you could make friends at the banquet since you haven’t had someone close to talk to in this kingdom. You became rather hopeful.
“Princess.” A bored voice ensues after two, firm knocks on the door. You let the servant come in and before she even said what she was there for, you already knew. “His Highness, the prince, has me come fetch you for the banquet. He is waiting for you downstairs in the foyer.”
“Alright, thank you,” you say and let her escort you. Just as she had told you, Malleus really was waiting downstairs. He stares off at another hallway and if you just strain your ears, you’d hear the faint clacking of heels fade away as it gets further away. After a few seconds, he was fixing the cuffs and now seeming to be in wait but with his brows slightly furrowed. ‘Was he speaking to someone just now?’
You interrupted his thoughts when you stepped in his view. “Child of man..” His eyes were slightly wide, showing a look of surprise, though honestly, it shouldn’t be the case since he should be expecting you after telling someone to get you.
When you look at him carefully, you see that you two were matching— not in the literal way where he was wearing the same dress as you, but it’s complimenting each other quite well. On top of that, on his head, he adorned a tricorne with a dark green lace that trims around it, but it’s customized to accommodate his horns. You hadn’t known that this was how it’ll go so you were truly in for a surprise and you admit, even though he had a scary air about him, you couldn’t deter your thoughts away about how handsome he was— something you didn’t think of on the day of the wedding.
He clears his throat when he notices you had been staring blankly at his face. “Are you ready to go?” He asks with which you said a quick, meek ‘yes’. Your face is a bit flushed at you getting caught looking at him for a prolonged time.
You follow him outside where there was a black carriage in wait with the footman having opened the door already. When you moved your eyes slightly to the front of the carriage— to your surprise— what seemed to be normal, black horses that match the theme of the carriage were emitting ominous yet faint golden particles by their hooves.
When you take a glance to your side where Malleus stood, he does not seem to find it strange at all and in fact, continues walking down the steps of the castle. You followed closely behind.
He stops shortly in front of the door and he swings his body at 120 degrees so that his body is partially facing you and then proceeds to stretch out a hand. Admittedly, you were confused for the first few milliseconds before remembering it was just a formality— something that he should be doing— and that you should accept it.
Only after getting into the carriage and getting yourselves cozy on the soft and crazily expensive cushions, does the footman close the door and the horses proceed to trot away with the guidance of the coachman.
It must be nice to be outside, you think. Since now, there was an awkward air inside and an intimidating presence just inches from you. You try to get creative in your head and think of nice things to forget reality for a moment just until you arrive at the Marquis’ home.
You’ve done a bit of your studies before going actually, and based on what you’ve read, he is an outstanding lord who mainly deals with the financial status of the kingdom. There wasn't anything to note about his wife, however, except that she is from another noble family. You were a bit disappointed since it was her birthday that you were attending and you have little to no information about her at all.
Your thoughts had been interrupted when the road became bumpy, causing you to slightly jump in your seat and lurch forward. ‘What the—‘ When you look out the window out of instinct, you see that the carriage was getting awfully close to the edge of a cliff.
“We normally don’t use carriages,” Malleus begins with an eerily calm tone despite the situation and you whip your head with a clear look of panic. If he doesn’t use them, how will he know how a carriage is supposed to be used— “Faes generally have the ability to fly, whether it is by wings or magic.
“However, the kingdom has many sorts of creatures who have little magic and thus tire easily when used so they opt to use their legs. There are also faes whose magic capabilities have drained with age.. If they do not have wings, carriages were made to accommodate them since the terrain here consists mainly of cliffs and is unwalkable.”
You were about to say something— anything— about how if it was unwalkable, how does he expect a carriage to travel when you felt the carriage becoming light.. As if it had been thrown off of the cliff.
You felt your heart drop and something vile building up in your throat. You were going to die right here, you think, and it hasn’t even been long since you’ve started out your new life. Malleus was still infuriatingly calm as you panic when you could no longer feel the bumps of the pathway and the trees from your peripheral vision— ‘Wait, what? No trees..?’ Finally, you look outside the window and to your bewilderment, the trees were not of eye level anymore and were below you.
When you pressed yourself against the glass, you could barely see a gold mist just underneath the carriage and you could guess that the source was the horses at the front. Although you were a bit scared at how high you were from the ground, you were in complete awe at the new experience. “Lilia said that humans are afraid of heights so I apologize for the long journey, but I did not want your travel here to frighten you,” Malleus said, eyeing your form that had its back facing him from his peripheral vision. He was referring to the time when a similar carriage came to pick you up at your manor back in the Rose Kingdom. You wanted to say that the fear depends on the situation and person, but you don’t dare imagine what would happen if you correct him.
‘Lilia?’ There was a look of naivety on your face. ‘Is that someone close to Malleus?’ Deciding not to be too nosy, you decided not to ask. You weren’t close to him anyway to have the right to. In fact, it shouldn’t bother you in the slightest at the thought of him keeping a certain secret from you if he did. And it doesn’t.
You turn to look outside the window again at the valleys and cliffs underneath you, remaining quiet. At some point, you see small lights gathered together in one place and you already can guess that they are lights from houses. They were all spread out, however, and you recall in your studies that since it’s hard to actually build homes in the Valley, they’re all spread out. Hopefully, you can go out to one of these towns some day, if Malleus permits it. A rule that you had been silently following was to always ask him if you want something or if you want to go somewhere. But, you rarely ask for things because frankly, it’s better if you have little to no interaction with him.
“Your Highnesses, we’ve arrived at Marquis Hagen’s estate,” one of the men at the front says loud enough for the both of you to hear well inside the carriage. The first hump was felt soon after when the carriage made impact with the ground and then came the sound of the horses’ hooves trotting on the pavement.
You had to look towards the window closest to Malleus to see the enormous house that is lit with lights from inside. Sure, it wasn’t remotely comparable to the castle, but it was still huge in its own right.
The carriage drew to a steady halt and a footman came to open the door. He bowed deeply under the presence of Malleus who turned to you and held a hand out for you the same way when he led you into the carriage. There were some nobles still at the front, preparing to head inside, when they caught the glimpse of your arrival.. Or more specifically, Malleus’ arrival. Compared to him, you were just a background character.
However, you noticed that most— if not, all those present had the look of surprise. Were they surprised to see a human here? But when you look carefully, their eyes were on Malleus. Curious.
Nevermind, you could not dwell on it anyway since you were busy being escorted into the hall where the banquet is held. “Your Highnesses, welcome.” The doorman at the door greeted you both with a deep bow.  When the door swung open, the banquet was already in full swing. You were in complete awe at the sight of so many faes who all had an individuality to them.
Ever the curious, their eyes were drawn to who had just recently entered. A gasp could be heard somewhere in the room. Then, “Your Highness!” In unison, the faes all took a respectful bow, with the females doing a curtsy with a hand over their chest.
“There’s no need for this. I did not come on official business.” With the wave of his hands, the guests returned to their activities prior, now in whispers about your arrival. They must really respect him, you thought. When you look to see his expression, you were quite surprised at the sight you caught. ‘What’s with that look..?’
Amidst your wonder, the sound of heels heading your way caught your attention and thus, you could not ask what was on your mind. “Your Highness.” A woman who had the soft glow of youth dressed herself in a light purple bustle that matched the colour of her eyes and left much room to cover on her collarbones since her sleeves were off the shoulder. Her hair was left in a neat, tight bun with a hairpin holding it together. In contrast to her light garment, her hair was dark. She’s a beauty in the night, you think, completely enamoured by her beauty. “It’s a wonderful surprise to see you  attend one of my banquets at last.”
‘Huh? Does Malleus not regularly attend social gatherings?’ You find reasons for his questionable look earlier. It was akin to a drooling child looking through the patisserie’s windows at the tarts put on display that day— just minus the drooling and shop entirely. But still, it doesn’t completely make sense to you.
“It just so happens that the invitation came my way,” he coolly brushes off the comment. You couldn’t understand the underlying meaning of those words nor did it ever raise questions in you. He turns to you who remained quiet at his side. “Child of man, this is Lady Guinevere. Marquis Hagen’s wife.” He gestures with a hand.
“It’s an honour to meet you, Lady Guinevere,” you say with a shy smile. A mischievous glint crosses her eyes and she brings a loose fist up to her mouth. “Ah, yes.. Although I’m the one who sent the invitation, it still feels so surreal to have a human in my abode.” She smiles warmly. “The honour is all mine, Princess.”
Her attention on you was brief, returning her focus on Malleus. “The first dance will start soon and I had hoped that Your Highness and the princess would lead the dance,” she picks up a topic to go forth. Your body froze. ‘A dance? With him?’
“It would be the best present, you know,” she adds on. Malleus simply nods at her request. A little too quickly, might you note. After a few more exchange of words, she excuses herself to make sure the musicians are ready. When the both of you stepped aside, you took this chance to tug at his sleeve, forgetting for a brief second about your fear toward him since there was a larger fear at hand. He feels this and bends his torso so that you could whisper in his ears, already sensing that you wanted to tell him something in private.
“Um, Your Highness..” You began, gulping down your nervousness. “I’m not a good dancer.” He faces you with slightly widened eyes at the confession. He had assumed you knew these things since you were a full bred noble and you honestly couldn’t fault him. The start of this ill-fated moment began when you were young. You hated the way your feet would hurt every time you did your dancing lesson and threw quite a fit until your father decided that it would be okay to not do them until later in your years. And frankly, if it doesn’t help you, you wouldn’t do it. Dancing was an opportunity to flirt, that’s what you thought at the time. Even up until recently, not a single man had come asking you for a dance and so you silently watched from the sidelines. There wasn’t any need for you to properly learn how to dance. Who knew that something— your marriage— would have come sooner than you had thought that requires you to dance. You thank your father for cheering you up during your dark era but now, you wished someone had forced you to continue your lessons.
Safe to say, you were embarrassed as you spoke the words into his ears. How silly you were when you were young. You felt embarrassed for the younger you. Malleus straightens up with the look of thought crossing his features. “Child of man,” he looks at you after having come to a conclusion. “We cannot decline Lady Guinevere’s wish now—“ You felt hopeless. “—so if you’ll allow me, I’ll cast a spell on you.”
Or maybe there was hope. “What sort of spell..?” You ask, a look of weariness makes your eyebrows scrunch down together. Now, it wasn’t like you don’t trust him, having heard of how powerful he is and how he would be surpassing the strength of the current queen of the Valley of Thorns sooner than most thought, but you were being used as the subject of the spell and you’ve read too many magic mishaps at the sorcerer’s tower to have a reason to be afraid. It was a natural response even though you didn’t have much of a choice. “The gift of dance,” he answers, already readying himself to cast it on you. “It will be temporary so do not worry for any sort of lasting effect.” It wasn’t like you had any choice except resigning yourself to fate.
When the time came and Lady Guinevere announced that the first dance would be led by the prince, your nerves were now the one hindering you. Before it was your inability to dance, now it was you wanting to chicken out. What if the spell wears off during the dance? What if the others can sense the traces of magic and know that you can’t dance? What if— “Child of man.”
You were startled out of your thoughts. Malleus stood beside you with a gloved hand waiting for yours. His face was that of calm, contrasting with your panicked one that all but reveals the thoughts coursing through your mind. “O-oh, right..!” You place your hand on his. You feel eyes burning at the back of your skull as Malleus leads you to the middle of the circle that formed.
You put your left hand on his shoulder. This much you knew how to do. The music started of softly and quietly when you first walked onto the centre but it gradually became louder the moment either one of you took the first step, but not too chaotic sounding with the sound of a cello doing skips.
There wasn’t even a breathing room before the dance started and it was hard to keep up with Malleus’ steps. With all the spinning and the scrutinizing eyes on you, you were starting to feel dizzy. You weren’t even sure if you were dancing correctly. Maybe the spell didn’t actually work— “Child of man,” Malleus calls for you softly but the vibrations of his voice was still there but only for you to hear. “Keep your eyes on me.”
At his words, you realized that you had been staring at his shoes, a subconscious action born from your nervousness. “S-sorry..” “Focus on me. Do not worry about them,” he said and that’s what you did. Your brows slightly furrowed as you concentrated hard on him. Even with your tallest heels on so you could come close to his height, you notice that he was hunching forward a bit. You don’t know who's back would hurt more from this though since you were leaning a bit back just so you could properly look at him.
You both glide across the floor, your dress fluttering as it tries to catch up to you while Malleus leads the dance. He was scary to look at but it was better than having danced with a total stranger.
When the dance concluded, you felt a wave of relief wash over you. You immediately step off to the side with Malleus in tow to let the others dance. “The magic has worn off now,” he states calmly and offers a glass of water that he had somehow managed to get his hand on. You mumbled a quick thank you and downed the water. Honestly, you had been focusing too much with the background noises in your head that you hadn’t really thought of how silly you must have looked. I mean, the height difference is obvious and everybody knows that to nail the best dance, you should have someone close to your height. He was not and you were practically breaking bones just to make eye contact with him. Well, whatever has been done is now in the past.
“Your Highness, that was a wonderful dance,” Lady Guinevere had come back to you both when the banquet was now in full swing with the loud music and dancing. Her fox-shaped eyes were soft and really brought in the definition of a mysterious beauty. “You as well, Princess.”
You gave a small and shy smile, feeling a bit warm in your cheeks that someone so pretty was complimenting you, even if the dance was a bit fake. “It was an honour to have given the best gift to you, Marchioness,” Malleus says, turning his gaze to you. “Child of man, do you wish to continue to stay here for a bit longer?”
Hm? You stare at him with the look of cluelessness. Was it not inappropriate to leave so soon when the party has just begun? Before you could give an answer, Lady Guinevere interrupts. “Mm? Your Highness, why is it that you keep referring to the Princess as ‘Child of man’?” She gives an innocent smile that shows her curiousity. “Is she not a human child?” Is the answer he goes with. Though it was a question to a question, it pretty much ends at the same answer. There really was no other explanation to give except that you were human.
“Ah. I just thought it was a cute nickname.” She covers her close-eyed smile with a hand momentarily before dropping it back down. “Hmm. If Your Highness chooses to go now, I must give a proper send off.
“It was an honour hosting you today, You Highness and Princess. I hope that you’ll attend more of my birthday banquets in the future. Maybe then my husband is not out on one of his business trips.” She does a low curtsy and excuses herself, leaving you the final word on whether or not you should continue to stay. Tonight was fun but you feel that if other men were to approach you to ask for a dance, you’d surely break a toe. Now that the magic is gone, you are left to showcase your horrible skills to fend for dear life. Coming to that conclusion you— “Your Highness!” A man had taken the opportunity to strike up a conversation now that Lady Guinevere had walked away. Well, it doesn’t hurt for Malleus to talk some more. You can wait. “…”
“Huhu, the prince doesn’t really care for the princess, does he?” A quiet murmur in the distance, but you heard it. You wanted to see the face of whoever said that but you didn’t know how to without making it obvious. “This marriage is a joke. Our prince is made a laughing stock at marrying someone so.. Weak.” It seems that there’s a conversation about you just within earshot. You don’t mind people talking about you, but the least they could do is not speak ill of you when you’re literally right there. At this point, they should just say it to your face since it makes no difference.
“I’m sure the prince feels the same way; have you heard what he calls that thing?”
“Child of man, was it? Haha! Yes! He doesn’t even refer to her by name.” You had been subconsciously gripping your dress till it wrinkled at that certain spot. The hatred that ran between humans and faes is still fresh in their hearts so it isn’t right for you to speak up, you believe. Both sides were hurt and had lost someone dear so if this talk was an extension of relieving that aching pain in them, you’ll let them. They were just like humans. They feel the same emotions as you. Still, it’s about time you leave. They still don’t like the thought of a human around so maybe you’ll come back once the storms have calmed a bit. Braving up yourself, you tug at the sleeves of Malleus’ clothes that just rested at his side. Again, he leans down to get to a smiliar height as you so you could whisper in his ears. “Your Highness, I’m feeling a bit exhausted..”
He takes one glance at you and then nods his head to confirm that your wish has been heard. “I’m sorry to cut this conversation short, but it seems that it’s about time for us to leave,” Malleus returns to speaking with the fae that approached earlier and stood idly by until you finished talking with him. “Have yourself send the proposal to the privy council. I am merely but a prince so the Queen will have the final word.”
The fae understood right away and had given way for you both to leave after giving a respectful bow. By the time you two had gotten out of the manor, the carriage was already waiting. You plop down on the soft cushions and kept to yourself, staring out at the window and trees the were underneath your feet.
“…” You bit your lip and fidget with your fingers, contemplating on whether or not you should bring it up to the fae beside you. Malleus sat with his legs crossed over one another with a serene look on his face, his eyes closed as he takes in the peaceful night that contrasted the earlier moments at the ball. It was short but he very much enjoyed it.
You sigh. You’ve already begun treading the path of danger and risked your life the many times you so much as peep a sound to him so might as well go for it, right? “Your Highness..” “Yes, child of man?” He was at the ready to answer as if he had been waiting for you to speak. “That nickname.. Don’t you find it a bit awkward to say?” You began with careful words. Hopefully he gets the message but if not, you hoped to guide him to the answer. Turns out that the conversation between the whispering nobles had made you insecure. You didn’t mind him calling you whatever he wanted before. “No, it isn’t.” Ah. So you’ll have to go for your second plan after all.
“W-well, I was thinking that if you ever need me urgently, it may be a bit too long of a name.. Don’t you think so?” You cautiously look at him from the side of your eyes to see how he’s reacting. He brings a finger to his chin and thinks about it. Was it really necessary to ponder every scenario over a name, you questioned. “Then, what name do you suggest I should call you?” He asks, meeting your eyes. ‘Why does he word it as if we’re naming a household pet?’
“I haven’t thought that far, actually..” You had hope to leave the naming to him since he seems like the expert so you ended the conversation at that until you arrive back at the castle.
You’ve only been gone for what, 4 hours? Still, it felt like you had been gone for much longer that the feeling of missing home weighed in your heart so when you did arrive, you felt so much better. “Then, I’ll go to bed now, Your Highness.” You gave a small smile and a quick bow and excused yourself. It was only after you got to the hall where your room was at did you feel much at ease. Hopefully, you won’t encounter him for a while— just until you recharged yourself at least. You know it’s unavoidable, the meetings with him.
—
Nothing beats a warm bath after a day out. You sit on the bed and comb through your damp hair. You were left to your own thoughts, though not much was being thought about so you were basically zoning out for the majority of this nightly routine so when the door opened, snapping you out of that trance, your skin jumped a bit. I mean, even if they didn’t want to come to you willingly, they shouldn’t enter without knocking and announcing— wait, did they call out for you?
You turn your head slightly just to look at the door, expecting a servant but what caught you unawares is seeing that the one that stepped into the room was a tall fae and not a servant. “Y-your Highness!?” You hastily get onto your feet and turn you body in attention from the side of the bed further from him. He was in nothing but black, silk robes with a slight chest window. You could tell that he had just finished taking a bath with how droplets of water still drop from his hair to the shoulders along with those that trail down his open chest.
“Is there anything I can help you with..?” Your voice gradually becomes quieter the further the words go and avert your eyes. He hums. “No,” he answers and walks closer to the edge of the bed opposite from yours. He sits down with his back fully facing you and with the towel that was on his shoulders, he begins drying his hair.
You were expecting for him to start talking after a while but as the second hand begins to tick loudly from a distance, the more awkward it became. “Then.. Is there something you want to talk about..?” Finally, his hands still and you were very sure of it now that he indeed does. However, what he says next surprises you. “No,” he answers, “Is there something you want to tell me?” He reversed the situation so that he was now asking the questions.
“Uhm.. Didn’t you come here for something?” Now you were very confused as to why this large fae was sitting on the bed, coming in with no reason— or even an excuse— to why he was there. “Hmm..” He looks at you with the look akin to the eyes of a clueless dog. He was dragging this on even if he didn't realize it. ”I came to sleep.”
Ah. It was then that you remembered that he does have rights to enter this room as casually as he did— despite not having entered it once since your marriage— since it was originally meant for the two of you. “Oh, right..” You awkwardly sat back down on the bed and continued to brush your hair— not because it was still in tangles, but because you honestly don’t think you can sit there and do nothing with the awkward air hanging above you currently. But just for how long will you keep up with that? Is it too awkward for you to just lie down and say your good nights? Malleus seems to not be bothered at all at just how abrupt he came.
Eventually, you had to put your brush down, having your arms grow tired from its monotonous actions. “Then, I’ll go to sleep first, Your Highness..” You turn slightly to look at his form. Even with the robe covering his skin, you could tell that he was keeping in shape with how broad his shoulders were. And the robe really didn’t try to hide the muscles on his arms and in fact, it seems that the piece of clothing wanted all to see it as well.
“Good night.” He was still drying his hair when he spoke. You can’t see his face so you’re not sure what he’s truly feeling.. And why he decided to join you tonight. Where had he been sleeping anyway? It was a question that wasn’t waiting anxiously for an answer as you try to lull yourself to sleep despite the situation. You honestly don’t think you’d be able to sleep though, you think, when you find yourself staring at the wall in front of you instead but remaining quiet.
At that second the light slowly began to dim. It wasn’t completely turned off like an extinguished flame. In just the short time you’ve been here, you noticed a lot of things that are different from your norms; one obvious fact— other than that the citizens were not human— was that they use magic for basically everything they do. One time, you had happened to stumble upon a broom sweeping the floor by itself. Perplexed and intrigued, you went to touch the broom but at that moment, the broom felt startled and suddenly fell limp on the floor. A fae came from just around the corner hurriedly and began reprimanding you, saying to not touch it or else the magic will diminish. One day led to another and you happened to pass the kitchen and saw a bag of flour fly across your face. To them, magic was wielded with ease that having one doesn’t automatically get you into the wizard’s tower and work there. Back home, there is one such spell caster that could wield it just as easily which had everyone drawing their eyes to.
When soft snores could be heard, Malleus relaxed his shoulders. What you had thought originally turned out to be wrong, the weight of your body being engulfed in such warmth had it melt into it after a night out. “Lilia.” He mutters and suddenly, a red butterfly with the faint glow akin to a firefly flaps its wings towards him. It had always been since the moment Malleus walked in but you hadn’t noticed since it had hidden itself in the walls. Intangible words were passed in hushed tones. The butterfly wasn’t talking but sounds of airy whispers were indeed coming from it. To anybody listening in, it would sound haunting. It made sounds as if thousands of folks were talking at once in a language they do not know at a low volume. The veil of magic on the butterfly made it so that only the intended listener could make out its words.
He was originally going to sleep in the room that he has been staying in, however..
"Khehee."
He crosses his arms as he stares disapprovingly at the little butterfly. Just moments earlier Lilia had approached him and prevented him from going to his room. "I had forgotten to tell Sebek that you had gone for the night." Is what the old fae said to him. Apparently Sebek had flipped the entire room and the rooms near it since he hadn't answered the door and became worried that something bad had happened to him. Though he's not sure how much of it is true. It doesn't make sense to him since he is more capable than any guard. He even was denied having another room set for him by none other than the old fae. "The servants must be quite tired by now, hm? Let them have it easy just for tonight."
The butterfly continues chuckling as if this situation was amusing. He sighs and it was then that Malleus knew that this would be a long night.

Book Club
Part 2 Part 3
Its short, I haven't written in far too long, I'm testing the waters, part 2 if even one person asks lmao
Joseph Quinn x Fem!Reader
-Your book club bestie persistently tries to set you up with her son, but you don't bet on meeting him on a night out.
Before reading: I felt a little weird about including Joes mum, I didn't want to involve her too much and felt id be best just treating her as another made up character, I have no idea what her name is, I think I've read Mary before? I could be wrong I don't care, I don't want to associate this character with the real woman.
-
You swiftly wrapped a pair of custard creams in a napkin and stuffed it in your coat pocket as the rest of the women bid their goodbyes for another four weeks. Linda, the woman that hosted this meeting had an impressive spread of biscuits with your tea today and you thought it courteous enough to take a few leftovers out of her hand. Also, the train home was long, and you knew you’d get hungry.
“Personally, I thought she was stingy with the snacks today” A quiet voice spoke beside you.
You turned to see Mary, your favourite of the group of ladies you had found yourself joining for book club. She had that look on her face you knew too well, that “we are definitely going to talk about this later” look.
Truthfully, you and Mary had formed quite a bond over the past few months, she was like a mother away from home, you gossiped about the other ladies, about the books you were reading, you confided in her when life got a bit tough, and she consistently tried to set you up with her son. You cherished the relationship you had with her and will forever thank this silly book club for introducing the two of you.
“And that book, what a snooze” She nudged you. You will admit, the book Linda picked for this meeting was pretty bad. “I didn’t even finish it” You answered, earning a chuckle from the older woman.
“Dinner tomorrow night? I can give you my copy of the book I picked for the next meeting.” Mary suggested, linking your arms as you both walked out onto the street.
“Oh, I wish I could, I have a coworker’s birthday to go to, how does Sunday work?”
Mary huffed, “Joseph rejected my dinner invitation too, Sunday is perfect though, I’ll do a roast.”
You rolled your eyes at the mention of Marys son, she was always trying to get you both together to meet. Personally, an awkward dinner with Mary and her son sounded like a dreadful way to meet a potential love match, and the idea of dating your best friend/mother figure’s son had you feeling ill.
“I look forward to it then” You replied, bidding Mary a goodbye now at her car and watching as she drove away before making your way towards the station.
When you first moved to London only 6 months ago you realised very quickly, you had no fucking friends. It was so scary being somewhere so big and so unfamiliar that you knew you needed kind safe people to guide you through the city. Stumbling upon a Facebook group had you joining this book club where you easily became the youngest in the group, but the ladies absolutely adored you, Mary in particular. Months later, you are now well established in the city and well read.
-
The pub was crowded, and the smell of too strong cologne had gone straight to your head, creating a dull ache. Still, you kept drinking, hoping the number you make your feet, your head will also calm down. The booth you occupied was crammed with an assortment of too drunk coworkers and too sober coworkers, staying much later than they really needed to be polite.
“Another drink birthday girl?” You yelled over the crowd. Your coworker, Stacy, nodded her head eagerly. Squeezing out of the booth you made your way towards the bar, which was no surprise just as busy. Your head a little fuzzy remained sore and you could only think the antidote would be another glass of wine. Squished up against the bar you ordered and waited patiently for the bartender to pour your two glasses. Suddenly an elbow to the ribs had you groaning in pain, just your luck, you thought.
“I am so sorry, oh my god, are you okay?” A mans voice spoke from behind you, you turned around to see a group of men all staring back at you, the one closest with the biggest most concerned eyes you had ever seen.
“I’m such an asshole I’m so sorry” He repeated his apology.
Your eyes were blurry, but you could still recognise that face, one you had seen on a certain woman’s phone multiple times.
“Joe?”
The man in front of you looked shocked and the men around him chuckled.
“Another fan, mate?” One teased him.
“Sorry, oh wow, that was so creepy” You rushed trying to save yourself. “I know your mum.”
The shock in the room didn’t dissipate.
“Fuck that sounds worse, I’m in her book club, I’m so sorry this is so awkward”.
You felt a heat crawl up to the tips of your ears and your stomach churned. This was worse than sitting with your coworkers, you should have never said anything.
“Oh yes!” Joe suddenly lit up, “Mums told me heaps about you”.
That didn’t make it any better, given the way you know Mary had spoken about you to Joe.
You chuckled, “Yeah you too” Joe laughed back, the tension now so thick you felt like you couldn’t breathe. This seemed more horrible than Mary uncomfortably introducing you both herself.
“You’re coming to dinner tomorrow then?” Joe asked, snapping you back into reality.
“Dinner?” You asked, heart sinking and head racing, screaming out a chorus of ‘no, no, no, no’.
“Yeah, mums roast, she said you’ll be coming, something about the next book”.
You suddenly realised you were still at the bar and quickly snatched your drinks from the counter, smiling back at Joe.
“Of course, wouldn’t miss it.”

id love to read more about puppy dabi's lady and the tramp dynamic! could i request headcanons about how dabi met and became attached to his owner?
Hi, Anon! Thank you for requesting, lovely. Here are some headcanons for your favorite puppy boy! I hope you like them hehe.
Lady and the tramp: Doberman! Dabi meets his owner Headcanons
Dabi met you by mere coincidence and, to this day, he´s not very proud of the intentions he had when he first approached you. He was looking for an easy target to rob and you, looking like a dork with your job´s uniform (Dabi´s words), seemed perfect. He didn´t consider, however, that you felt no fear of his imposing and scary looks; hell, you even made small talk with him during the whole situation. "Ah, you need some money? It´s ok, I think I have some cash in my wallet. Is this enough?" *Confused Doberman noises* It was new for him, he´d never experienced kindness in such a way.
He was genuinely dumbfounded by your attitude towards him and something inside him simply went "Oh, ok, she´s dumb. Do I exploit this trait or..." Dabi even went as far as exchanging numbers with you, not sure of how that happened. You pretty much pulled an "Izuku Midoriya friendship move" and somewhat warmed his cynical heart.
This Doberman soon found himself keeping an eye on you from the shadows, making sure no one would bother you on your way home or to your workplace. If someone asked him why, he´d just say he was "keeping his cash cow safe", but the reality was that he was scared that your naivety would get you in trouble. It was already risky enough that you´d become close to him, what if someone else tried to abuse that dumb brain of yours? He figured it was because you had almost no experience on the streets, much like that doggie "Lady" from Lady and the Tramp. "Does that make me the tramp?" He often wondered, deciding to call you his lady for shits and gigs.
Touya is quick on picking your habits and likings, memorizing the streets you walk or what you buy at the convenience store for lunch. You also begin to reciprocate by being more open about you and your life, sharing quality time with him, and even going as far as inviting him over whenever he needs. It goes unnoticed at first, but whenever you say "Do you wanna come with me?" His tail wags with a happiness he hadn´t experienced before.
He becomes gradually more attached to you the more you start showing him the domestic side of life. Soon he finds himself waiting for the clock to mark 5 p.m. to join you on your path home; he allows you to touch him, and he allows you to approach. Hell, he becomes so comfortable with you that whenever you´re not around his brain screams "Where´s my dork?"
To put it in simpler words, he (being the tramp) having experienced life on the streets, fell for you (his lady), the one who showed sympathy and kindness to manage to tame his heart. And while he may not want to recognize it, you pretty much owned him in a way no other could.
"Do you like bubble tea? I like the flavors this store offers, so I bought you one too!" You said, handing Dabi the plastic cup. "Is this really ok? Why are you not scared of me?" The man asked, inspecting with curious eyes the drink you gifted him. "I don´t see why I should be scared, besides, I have no one to talk to. You´re a great listener, you know?"  Something inside Dabi felt warm, and he wasn´t sure of what it was; the stump of his tail wagged at your words. "Don´t be so fool, you barely know me." He explained, but you only shrugged it off. "Do you wanna harm me?" He shook his head. "If not friend, then why are you friend-shaped?" You joked, earning a hearty laughter from him. Only a month had passed since your first encounter, and it was so over for Dabi: you were too damn pure for your own good, and he liked that!

Hi, moon! Following one of your posts:
Annie can't gossip for the life of her. She would just tell you the most basic info and be done with it. The juicy details? Nah. Go to the boys for that.
Hi hahaha xD
True! Annie simply does not give a fuck. In fact, spending three years running spy missions to the interior was not a job she wanted. Girl was tired and hated it!
I imagine a gossipy conversation to go something like this:
(Annie, on her way in after an emergency run to the bakery)
Some rando: Hey! Psst! Did you hear? They've eloped!
Annie, confused: Huh? Who's eloped?
Rando: Your neighbour's daughter and her younger lover!
Annie: ... So?
Rando: Her mother's livid! All her jewels are gone! Taken!
Annie: ... Didn't know she was rich.
Rando, shocked: What! But she's your neighbour?!
Annie: .... *shrugs*
Rando: She owns half the town!??
Annie: ....
Rando: Twenty years ago, she killed her husband!
Annie: ....
Rando: You can still see bloodstains on the carpet in her living room?!!
Annie: ....
Rando: There's rumours that her dead husband haunts their old bedroom?!!
Annie: ....
Rando: People are scared of her!! How did you not know? You live right next door!
Annie: .... *shrugging and bored of this conversation* Idk man. She gave me coconut biscuits that one time. THey were great.
Rando, looking like the Scream painting: ....???!!!!!!!!!!
Annie: .... I'll get going.
Rando, mumuring to himself: ... I wonder where her daughter and the lover eloped though... they've been missing since dawn... I thought you'd know but guess not haha...
Annie, pausing: Tell you what. Head down the street. Turn left. Then right. Then left. Then two rights. You'll come upon a house with an ivy roof. There's a man who lives there; he'll know.
Rando: Oh? Really? Thanks!
(Rando, walking up to the ivy cottage and spotting five guys sitting on the porch, chatting. Some of them are familiar. Blond haired... that one with the long face... oh that one with the short grey hair... and that scary short one always drinking tea! These are the Ambassador guys!)
Reiner, spotting him: Hi! Are you lost?
Rando: O-oh, oh no... it's just... I was told to come here for some information...
Reiner: Hm? You were?
Rando: A young lady with pale blonde hair who lives next to that house...
Armin, perking up brightly: That's Annie! Annie did ?! Hehe, she's my... My wife .. hehe... (◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*
(Insert Ben Affleck smoking meme)
Rando, nervously eyeing the short guy in the middle who seems to be glaring at him: U-um, yeah... so you know the... eloping this morning...
(All guys go silent)
Rando: I was wondering where they might have gone off to and the blonde lady said I'd get answers if I came here...
(The guys exchange secretive 19th-century looks)
Armin, quietly: Well, it's not really for us to say...
Jean, quietly: It wouldn't be proper, of course...
Reiner, very grim: That's what they chose to do... we should respect it...
Connie, shaking his head: I feel sorry for the mother... but...
Levi, drinking tea, unimpressed, deadpanning: They were headed to the States of Dane by the 5am horse. Paid a whole 10 dunals for the trip. The coins were brand new. The boy looked nervous. The girl was wearing a cream dress-
Jean, interrupting quietly: Beige. Not cream. Beige.
Levi, irritated: FUcking hell-
Jean: Sorry.
Levi: Tch. Anyway. Before they got on the horse, they had an argument-
Armin, politely: It wasn't an argument, it was a 'mild disagreement'.
Levi, exasperated: Fu-
Armin, flustered: Sorry! Go on captain!
Levi: .... tch. Then they mounted the horse and took the long route by Northeast, the one without many people. The horse was a good one. Strong and patient, she was-
Connie, frowning: But they rode her too slow. Only 3 kilometers per hour, what the fuck is that huh? I mean if they were running away- mmpph!
(Armin slaps a hand over his mouth to shut him up)
Levi: ... They turned around the bend and then disappeared. I reckon they're halfway by now.
Rando, flabbergasted & speechless: ... and you guys... saw all this?
Reiner: I think the boy should've packed more underwear though.
(everyone turns to stare at him)
Everyone, including Rando: And how the fuck do you know that?!
Reiner: (灬º‿º灬)♡

It was the Samhain, All Hallow’s Eve…Halloween. A storm raged on outside, but you could still feel the moon’s power from behind the clouds. The storm itself actually made you feel calm, content, knowing you were safe for the night in your cozy cabin. You’d put out an extra place setting on your table and even dribbled some candy across it just for fun. You were planning a mute supper of the delicious smelling stew bubbling away in your crockpot (much more convenient than a cauldron, in your opinion).
Cooking was your specialty in magic, infusing spells and potions into food to help absorb them faster, and strengthening the effect. Tonight, you were testing a new potion to infuse with the stew; made to keep you warm and give you strength through the cold winter months. After dinner, you planned to cozy up to by the warm fire and tuck in with a collection of scary stories with some Nina Simone records.
Suddenly, a loud banging noise outside the door made you jump. At first, you thought it was just the storm, but you heard someone hollering, you rushed and threw open the door, fearing it was some poor lost soul. Instead, there stood a mountain of a man.
Tall and stocky with a wide brim hat doing its best to keep rain off his face where dark blue eyes peered at down at you. Soft pink lips pursed in a thin line were framed by 5 o clock shadow. He wore a black windbreaker with a shiny gold star pinned to his chest. You knew him; Lee Bodecker, the sheriff of the local mortal town just outside the wood.
“Evening ma’am, may I come in?” Wiping your hands on your sweater and crossing your arms over your chest, you eyed him suspiciously. However, you couldn’t sense anything too malicious about him. You stepped back, letting him enter and watching as he easily crossed your threshold. You knew your dwelling was protected from negative forces. You’d made well and sure of that.
“Is there something I can help you with?” you asked as you shut the door, not wanting any trouble and trying to be polite. You knew sometimes the teenagers of the town came into the woods to drink or fuck, especially on Halloween night. You’d hoped the storm would keep them away, but if the sheriff was here, maybe something had happened.
“Wellness check, ma’am. I got a call from some little old lady that said she knew there was a woman living in the woods. She wanted to make sure you hadn’t been flooded out.” He explained. A smile spread across your lips as you breathed a silent sigh of relief.
There was a woman whose farm backed up almost into the woods. Since her husband died a year ago, a few times a week you would go and help her with some of the chores; and she would give you milk, eggs, and fruits and veggies from the farm. You would also bring her soup and healing herbs when she was sick. She wasn’t aware of your powers, but always thanked you when she remarkably felt better the next day. Of course she called it in; knowing where your house was after you’d brought her there for tea one afternoon.
“Well, I appreciate you coming all this way Sheriff-”
“Lee, please” He interrupted. Your skin bristled a little at the interruption, but you nodded gently at him, knowing mortal men could be a little brash sometimes.
“Lee.” You continued. “But I really am alright. Can I offer you some tea or something for your trouble? I did just mix up some stew.” You’d heard stories about the sheriff, the town hero, who seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. But you were always suspicious of things that were too good to be true. It was your nature as a witch.
However, the man HAD come all the way into the woods in a storm just for one little old lady’s request.  He must have something resembling a heart, you reasoned. You decided to give him some nice warm, strong, stew and slip a little forgetfulness potion into his coffee; then send him on his way, never to remember this place. You could return to your cozy evening.  No harm done.
“Coffee would be appreciated if you have it.” Lee requested. “And that stew sure does smell good.”
“Have a seat.” You gestured to the chair at your small round table, only fit to hold 3 chairs, 2 of which already had a place set. Lee sat down at the one without, setting his hat down on the table.
“Can I take your coat?” you offered.
“Thank you kindly.” He took his coat off, handing it to you before setting his hat on the table and sitting across from the set place as you hung his coat by the fire. Going back to the kitchen cupboard and grabbing a mug and a bowl. You shook some grounds into a filter, infusing your forgetfulness spell.
Filling the coffee machine with water, you pressed the buttons and let it brew.  You ladled a healthy serving of stew into the bowl and carefully placed it in front of him. He dug in as you sat across from him and tried to think of anything to say. You never had mortal company, only the nice lady who liked to knit and read, just like you; But Sheriff Bodecker didn’t seem the type to knit. Finally, he cleared his throat and asked you.
“You uh…live alone out here? You had another place set.” He gestured to the table. “Your husband leave you all alone out here?”
“Of course not.” You answered and he seemed taken aback. “Well, I mean… I don’t have a husband. But I’m not alone. The animals live out here too. And the plants. And my books.” The burbling of the machine caught your attention. “Do you take anything in your coffee? You asked him as you went to pour it into the mug.
“No thank you, ma’am.” He answered. “This stew is absolutely delicious.”
“Thank you, kindly.” You beamed as you set the mug down in front of him. “And I must admit the place setting is more of…personal thing. It’s a Halloween tradition to set a place for those who you have lost in the past.”
“That’s mighty sentimental of you. Though I’ve never heard of that one. Where’d you learn that?” Lee asked.
“Oh I uhm. I read about in a book.” You said, technically not lying. You just didn’t mention it was a magic book.
“I see.” Lee looked around the room. “You sure do have a lot of books.”
“Yes, well, sometimes I find the company of the books better than that of people.” You joked, looking to the coffee and hoping Lee would take a sip soon. You looked back at him but his body suddenly seemed a lot closer, his leg resting between yours, leaning against your right knee.
“Ah c’mon people aren’t too bad. Look at me for example, I wanted to make sure you were okay.” Look at him you did. He was decently handsome. Strong arms and a well-built frame. He was heavier set than other men, but you kind of liked that. You knew food was a comfort and you would rather people knew too much than not enough. Even the face you’d been suspicious of when he arrived had a more homely charm as he slurped up the last of his stew. He took a swig of coffee, then turned to face you fully.
“Mmmmm…damn…That’s the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. And I just love the taste of the forgetfulness potion you added.”  Your heart dropped into your stomach.
“What did you say?” He didn’t answer, only leaning back in his chair. He blinked and where crystal blue eyes had seemed to make him handsome and rakish; now were two inky black pits. He blinked again and his eyes were human again, but now his irises were crimson red.
You took a deep breath, trying to steady yourself. You’d dealt with a few lower-level demons in your travels, but never someone who you could walk through your house’s defenses so easily. Usually, any malevolent force was neutralized before it even touched your house. But he…he was something darker.
“I’d heard about a pretty witch living out here in the woods.” Lee continued. “Thought it was just another one of them dippy mortals wearing peace signs. But then that little old lady came in, bringing some brownies she said you’d made. And when I tasted them, I knew for sure. There was a real little witch somewhere in town.
“Though it took me a while to find ya, darling. All them wards and runes…you’ve kept yourself pretty well hidden. But when that same sweet little old lady called in, worried about her friend in the woods, I knew I’d found you and here you are. Hidden away from the world, cooking up spells your nose buried in a mountain of books. All that defensive magic and you opened the front door for me and invited me in. Silly girl.” His eyes raked over your body, studying you.
“Damn, you are something pretty. You got a name, sweetheart?” But your lips tightened. You didn’t want to say another word to him, fearing what else he might be hiding. “Oh, come now, darling. I won’t bite.” But his wolfish grin spoke otherwise.
You told him your name in the strongest voice you could muster, trying to think of a plan to drive him out. As if reading your mind, Lee gently shook his head.
“Now let’s not do anything foolish sweetheart. I don’t want to get too nasty with you.” He warned.
“What-what DO you want then?” you asked. Lee paused for a moment, reaching across the table to grab a piece of candy, unwrapping it slowly and staring into your eyes as he placed the candy in his mouth, licking his lips as he chewed and swallowed.
“Quite frankly, darling…you. You’re clearly pretty good with the magic, and you’d be even more so with a little training. I’ll have all the power I need. See, I’ve been living like a king for years, feeding off the darkness of the souls in this town.”
“Darkness…?” The woman from the farm was always talking about how wonderful the town was, how safe it was…all because of him.
“Oh yes, sweetheart. There is a darkness in this here town. Seems half the people are born just so they can be buried. And I’ve managed to feed off of it for years. You’d be surprised how many people will give truly anything to get what they want. Sometimes they surprise me, just wanting basic mortal shit they could get if they tried a little harder. But some of them want to watch the world burn. They offer their souls and what happens? The town sheriff stops their crimes before they’ve even started. I look like got damn hero and never have to lift a finger.” He grinned wide. “All the praise of the good people feeding my pride. All the sin of the others feeding my powers.”
“But why…why do you need me?” You asked, meekly. His smile faded and his jaw clenched. His steely gaze and making you shiver and squirm in your chair.
“The good people have started to question me. Why I haven’t settled down with a wife...  And if the good people are questioning me, I can’t clean up the filth in the town. See, I’m thinking about a run for state senator, maybe even governor. And the higher up the ladder you climb, the darker people will get. I can’t do that without a little lady with me to keep me in their good graces.” He stood up now, his hand on the table, leaning in close to you, but you managed to shove the chair away and rushed to the sink, grabbing the sharpest knife you had and pointing it at him. But Lee only shook his head and smiled.
“Now what are you gunna do with that, huh? You certainly don’t have it in you to use it” He mocked, stepping closer to you. He let out a low groan. “And that’s exactly why I want you. Your innocence, and your kind heart are exactly what I need. Someone to look good for the town, show off at all the little local town events, and keep my bed warm at night.” He licked his lips. “So, here’s the deal. You keep my bed warm and my stomach full, and I'll keep the town safe; keep being the hero.” He was standing in front of you now; still holding the knife in your trembling hands as you shook your head. Lee reached up, grabbing the knife like it was nothing, and throwing it somewhere.
Blood ran down his hand but he made no move to wipe it off. Instead, he grabbed your wrists and pinned them to the cabinets behind you, his lips thundering down upon yours in a harsh and punishing kiss. He bit your lip, making you gasp, giving him a chance to force his tongue into your mouth. Your eyes widening as you swore the end of it was forked. When he pulled away, you were gasping for air. He leaned in close to your ear, his breath hot on your cheek and neck.
“Maybe you didn’t understand me clearly in that dumb little brain of yours, but I could ruin this town. Your poor little old lady friend? Out on the street. Your library? Closed. I could stand back and make you watch this town suffer. Or you can be my good little housewife.” He leaned back to look at you, his eyes soulless black pits.
“Or maybe I'll take you out to the town square. And show them what you really are. Some mortals around here get scared, they start getting jumpy…and pretty scary themselves.” Your breath hitched; you knew some mortals, even as time moved forward, who still got too scared of what they didn’t understand and could get violent quickly. It was one reason you kept yourself hidden. “So, what’s it gunna be, little witch?” You stared back at him, your breathing shallow.
In a flash of quick thinking, you thought to the holy water in your cabinet, and it manifested in your hand. You managed to dump it on his hands, and he roared in pain, letting you escape. If you could make it to the bedroom, your sacred room, you might be able to ward him out, or at least escape to somewhere else.
You were steps away from the threshold when you were suddenly wrenched back and slammed against the wall. Your hands were pinned above your head and your legs were spread wide. You heard Lee down the hall; his heavy footsteps getting closer and closer until he stood directly in front of you.
“Tsk tsk tsk. Just couldn’t make it easy could you? But that’s okay, Nothing worth having ever is.”
“But…how…no other magic works in my space…” you stammered. But he only chuckled, relishing in your fear as you struggled against the bond, studying you like a work of art.
“Seems to me you’re in MY space now.” As you fought to free yourself, you realized he was right; nothing in the house, none of your powers were working. “Now Let’s try that again shall we, sweetheart?”
“Please…” you begged. “Please don’t do this.”
“Oh, come now. It ain’t all bad... A powerful demon husband, access to magics you wouldn’t believe, I can make this so good for you.” He forced his hands up your sweater to run them down over your breasts, one hand stopping to fondle your nipple with his thumb while the other slid into your pajama pants, between your legs and cupping your pussy over your panties and rubbing his ring and middle fingers back and forth.
“Well well, for such a good little witch, you sure are dripping wet for me. I’m must say I’m flattered.” He kissed you with a fire that stirred something dark and twisted within your heart and soul.  Something you ignored as a witch who tried to do only good to others.
“God…please...” Your voice was soft, but Lee heard you growled, his hand going from your breast to grab your hair and force your head back. His voice was soft but dangerous in your ear.
“Trust me sweetheart, Even if he gave a shit about you, there’s not a damned thing he could to stop me. You worship me now. Go on, say my name.”
“Lee…” you breathed heavily. Your resolve was slowly crumbling as you realized there was no way out of this. And that fear, that resolve, was being replaced with desire. The way Lee looked at you seemed like he wanted to devour you whole should’ve terrified you, but you couldn’t deny how wet you were. You didn’t want to want him, but your whimper gave you away.
“Yeah, baby? You want something? Go on…beg for it…” he ordered; his fingers moving faster as he kissed down your neck, biting gently in just the right spot to make your toes curl. You let out a low moan. Your breathing was heavy as you spoke.
“You…you promise you won’t hurt the good people?” You asked, tears forming in the corners of your eyes. Lee scoffed with a smirk, staring down at you.
“Good people, oh if only you knew…but you’ll learn.” Without another word Lee pulled his fingers from your shorts, making your whine in loss and feeling yourself clench around nothing. Lee snapped his fingers and your clothes were gone.
Before you could react, he grabbed you, lifted you over his shoulder, smacking your ass then storming into your bedroom, slamming the door behind you two and locking it. He tossed you unceremoniously onto your bed, hardly giving you a moment to breathe before he was on top of you. He leaned over you and his black soleless eyes bore deep into yours.
“The people in this town are bathed in sin. Just you wait and see.” His gaze softened, his eyes returning to their crimson form. He ran one hand down your cheek, using his thumb to hold your chin and force you to look at him. “But you know what, I think you want something darker… I saw some of those books on your shelves. I think you wanna be a little damsel in distress. And I’m more than happy to oblige.” His hand wrapped around your throat; then he leaned down so his lips were just ghosting against your trembling ones.
“How long have you wanted the touch of a strong man?” Your whimper in response only made him grin wider. “You’re adorable and you reek of loneliness. He kissed you deeply before leaning back to rake his eyes fully over your naked form. “So fucking purty…” he growled. “And you taste sweeter than any mortal sin.” He stood up, but you were still unable to move. Your arms crossed over your head and your legs were forced wide.
Wasting no time, he stripped out of his own clothes; Finally he pulled his boxers down to expose his cock which bobbed against his stomach. Your eyes widened in shock at the size.  It had been some time since you’d been with a man, but his thick cock was bigger than you’d ever had. You tried to shy away from him a bit but he stroked it up and down a few times, laughing at the more than apparent shock on your face
“Never had a cock this big before, have you?” he slowly climbed on the bed, kneeling between your legs. “Well not to worry, little witch. I’m here now and I’m gunna take good care of you. Starting by fucking you like the little bitch in heat that you are and making you cum.” He stroked his cock while gently running his fingers up and down your slit.  You wanted to struggle, scream, fight back. But when Lee pressed his thumb down on your clit, you let out a moan and seemed to almost grind against his hand. It was wrong, but it felt so good. He brought the fingers he’d been rubbing you with up to your lips.
“Suck on em, slut.” Pushing his fingers in your mouth, rather than be repulsed, your tongue laved over his fingers; thoughts clouding your mind of kneeling before him and sucking his cock. “Oh don’t worry, little witch. You’ll be doing that soon enough.” Lee promised. “Tell me you want this cock. Tell me how bad you wanna be my little whore.”
“Want…want your cock in my pussy Lee…want to be your slut..” you begged.
“You gunna be my good wife? Give me whatever I want?” You could feel the head of his cock brush against the inside of your thigh.
                “Yes…please…”
“Open your mouth.” He ordered. You did as he said and he squeezed your cheeks, making sure your mouth stayed open as he leaned over and snarled something in Latin before spitting in your mouth. Your eyes widened as you realized what he was doing but he covered your nose and mouth with his hands. “Swallow it, slut. Swallow it if you wanna breathe again.”  You had no choice but to swallow. Your veins came alive like fire travelling through you as you were now soul bonded together. He let go of you but replaced his hand with his lips in another hard kiss.
You felt the last of your resolve crumbling. You hated yourself, but you wanted him…and he knew it. He snapped his fingers again and now your arms were free to move, but they didn’t fight him, instead they sought to hold him close to you. You wanted to feel him against you, he was so warm compared to the chilly night air. Like a blanket wrapping around you on winter’s first night.
“Well now, we certainly have changed our mind, haven’t we?” You didn’t answer, turning away, and trying to not meet his leering gaze. But he gripped your chin and forced you to look at him.
“When I ask you a question, you answer, understand? I’m being real nice here, but I can go back to being mean if you want.” He threatened. But you shook your head softly.
“No please…I’ll be good…” you whimpered and he smiled.
“I know you will.” He kissed you, taking the chance to push his cock inside you making you moan into the kiss.  His hands were on either side of your head and you dug your nails into his shoulder to try and pull him closer to you.
You pressed your knees tight against his sides as he set a torturous pace. Dragging his cock out slowly so you could feel the head rubbing the walls of your pussy, making you keen and moan. Then pushing back in hard so you felt like you were going to be split in two.
“Lee…please.” You wanted to beg him to stop but it came out as a plea for more.
“Such a powerful little witchling, reduced to my wanton whore…” His hands grabbed your breasts, tweaking and rolling your nipples between his calloused fingers. “Gunna be so pretty on my arm. And if you be a good little wife, I’ll buy you all the books you want, and I’ll fuck you to sleep every night on my cock.” He took one hand away from your breasts to smack your clit…hard. Your vision went white with pleasure as you screwed your eyes shut; your pussy clenching hard around his cock.
“Fuck and a pain slut to boot. You’re gunna be lots of fun, little witch. I want you to cum. Cum for your new husband.” His thrusts increased to a punishing pace and he used his thumb to rub your clit. “And when you cum on my cock, I own you. Heart, body, and soul. You understand?”
“Ye-Yes I understand…Lee…” His eyes flickered to black as he pinched your nipple hard and ordered you in a voice much lower and darker than his usual tone.
“Then cum.” The sound of it making your eyes was the final straw as your eyes rolled back in your head and you felt every muscle in your body clench as you came harder than you ever had before. Lee had made your body feel like it was on fire but your orgasm was like a cooling only water could bring. You called out his name as you bucked your hips up, like you were trying to draw him in more.
He kept fucking you through the waves of pleasure crashing down on you, chasing his own release. “Look at you, all fucked out and all mine. Can’t wait to get you home, gunna bend you over and spank this ass hard before I fuck it…”  His words made your breath hitch and you clenched his cock one final time before he stilled above you, growling and snarling.
You could feel his hot cum filling you as he pumped his cock into you a few more times. For a few moments, only the sound of your combined breathing’s filled the space. You lay there with your eyes closed as your feelings washed over you; shame, embarrassment, but at the base of it all, satisfaction and power. Power stronger than anything you’d felt before. Lee chuckled above you as you opened your eyes to meet his, now back to crimson.
“You can feel it, can’t you? All that new power from being my mate flowing through you?” You nodded weekly. “Good but just remember. I’m the one in control now, you’re bound to me so if you even think about hurting me or doing something stupid, I’ll strip them away and leave you for dead. We clear?”
“Yes, Lee.” You sighed, accepting your fate. His eyes flashed once more to black before turning back to the blue that had drawn you in so easily. You bit your lip, staring up at his rugged looks and acknowledging there were worse options to be bound to for all eternity.
“Fuck, I hope you never lose that doe eyed look. I just wrecked your pussy and you still look like the shy little bookworm you are.” He pulled his cock from you slowly, the first gentle action of the night. “Do you need some stew now, little witchling?” He asked, teasing you and tickling your side, forcing a smile onto your face that didn’t last. Lee let out a small sigh.
“Listen, you might look cute when you cry on my cock, but you’ve got one hell of a smile, darling. I’d like to see it for real.” His words struck a chord, all night he’d teased and degraded you, but now he seemed gentile, almost trying to be charming. He brushed a strand of hair back from your face. “You have to remember sweetheart, I may be strong and powerful, but I have to lure in my pray first.”
Lee gently pounced on you, placing hot, open mouth kisses to your neck, nipping and kissing until you were squealing and laughing in pleasure, forgetting for just a moment the rude and brash way he’d taken you, sexually and literally. When Lee stopped, he pulled back to press a kiss to your forehead.
“I told you sweetheart, if you’re good for me, I can be so good for you.” Despite everything you’ve ever known about demons, you decided to trust him; hoping that as his wife, maybe you could do some good and help the people of the town on a wider scale.
“Can I ask for one thing, please?” you asked, reaching for his hand and squeezing it.
“Well, I am feeling awfully generous.” He said, smiling coyly.
“Please let me keep this place. I promise I’ll come home to you every night but…a witch needs her sacred space.” You asked, batting your eyelashes just a little.
“Hmmmm, I suppose that can be arranged.” Lee conceded. “But I have complete and unfettered access, understood?” You nodded, knowing the road ahead as his wife would be rough, but seeing who he was and hoping you could smooth down the rougher edges gave you a sense of relief.
He lay on his side, wrapping his arms around you and holding you against him. You were almost shocked how comfortable you felt in his embrace. But it happened easily, his leg feeling so natural wrapped around yours in your bed.

Ellis Twilight: Chapter 9
Chapter 8
♡———♡
--The next day, after patrolling the city.
I was heading to the casino with Ellis and Jude.
William and the others had found out that the ringmaster of the circus troupe in question occasionally visits the casino, which is one of the gang's bases.
(We will scout nearby and detain and interrogate any suspicious individuals.)
I repeated the day's mission in my mind, filled with tension.
Jude, who was smoking a cigarette a short distance away, sighed in exasperation as he glanced at me.
Tumblr media
Jude: What are ya gonna do in that state?
Kate: I'm nervous now, but I'll be fine.
As I put on a brave face, Ellis bent down slightly and offered me some tea.
Ellis: Here you go. Warming up your body will help you calm down.
Kate: Thank you...
The warmth spreading to my fingertips, chilled with nervousness, felt good.
Kate: ...Oh, it's honey tea. Delicious.
Ellis: I'm glad. Feeling a little better?
Kate: ...Yeah, a little.
Ellis: Don't push yourself, Kate.
Tumblr media
Even after yesterday's near-confession, Ellis is treating me the way I wanted, "the same as always"... I think.
(But, I can't help but be conscious of it.)
I feel my heart beating a little faster when Ellis is next to me, so I discreetly take one step away.
Ellis: They're probably rough people, so if there's another scary scene, close your eyes.
Kate: Hehe, I can't do that... It's my job to record what you two do.
Ellis: Even if you don't see it, I'll tell you about it later.
Ellis: You're hardworking and wonderful in that way, but... I want you to take better care of yourself.
Kate: Uh... yeah...
(Is this what he meant by "the same as always"...?)
Every time he smoothly says sweet words, my heart can't help but pound.
(No, no, I have to stay focused... so that things don't end up like last time.)
*flashback*
Ellis: They were trying to harm Kate.
Kate: ...
(So, this carnage is...)
(Because I followed them, Ellis...)
Ellis: ...It's okay now, Kate.
*flashback over*
(...So that things don't end up like last time.)
Kate: You too, Ellis, don't push yourself.
The words naturally spilled out as I remembered Ellis standing in a pool of blood.
I know full well that it's his job, his mission, what he has to do.
That's why I wanted to be there for him in the pain and suffering that comes from it.
Ellis: Me? I'll probably be fine, but... thanks.
Kate: Let's eat something delicious after the mission is over!
Ellis: ...Yeah. ...Hehe.
Suddenly, Ellis smiles at me as he looks at me--.
Kate: ...? What?
Ellis: I just got a little excited thinking about which restaurant to take you to.
Kate: .....!
(Does that mean...)
(Going to dinner with me is something Ellis himself is looking forward to.)
Not just for me.
For some reason, I'm so happy about that, my face breaks into a grin.
(Focus... on the mission...)
I hurriedly tighten my loosened mouth.
But Ellis didn't miss my changing expressions.
Ellis: Kate? Is something wrong?
Kate: I'm looking forward to dinner too!
Ellis: I can't wait to go either.
It was when Ellis and I smiled at each other.
???: Ah...
A small scream, and when I turned around--
A little girl had tripped on the stairs and fallen flat on the ground.
(Oh no, this is bad!)
As I instinctively stepped forward, Ellis also approached the girl.
Ellis: Are you okay?
Ellis gently lifted the girl up, but...
Girl: ...Uh...
Tears quickly welled up in the girl's eyes.
(It doesn't seem like her parents are around. Then--)
Kate: That must have hurt. Um, what's your name...?
--A cheerful voice came from above the three of us.
Man with Eyepatch: Well, well, little lady!
Man with Eyepatch: The flowers want to say hello to you!
(Who...!? )
The man with the eyepatch who suddenly appeared clenched his fist tightly, then opened it with a pop, revealing a beautiful flower blooming in his palm.
Kate: ! This is...
Ellis: The magic trick Bill did.
"Flower": Don't cry, lady. I want to see your smile!
The man with the eyepatch spoke in a high-pitched voice, as if squeezing his throat, pretending to be a flower.
Girl: Hic... Flower...
"Flower": If you smile, I feel like I can bloom even more!
Girl: ...Hmm...
As the girl tried to force a smile, small flowers overflowed from the man's palm one after another.
Girl: Wow...!
The girl's eyes, still wet with tears, sparkled.
Then, a woman with a panicked expression came running over.
Panicked Woman: Cathy! I've been looking for you, don't go off on your own!
Cathy: Oh, Mom! Look, look, it's amazing! It's like magic, the flowers...
Cathy's Mother: I'll hear about it later! I'm so sorry for the trouble!
Man with Eyepatch: No, no, not at all.
Ellis: That child might have scraped her knee. Please take care of it.
Cathy's Mother: Huh? Did she fall? Did she cry and cause you trouble!?
Cathy: I didn't cry! That man did flower magic...
(I guess she was really happy about the flower magic trick.)
The mother smiled as if relieved at the girl's excited chatter.
Cathy's Mother: It seems you all helped her... Thank you very much.
Cathy's Mother: Cathy, I'll listen to all your chatter when we get home.
Cathy: Okay!
The girl, now smiling, took her mother's hand, waved to us, and left.
Ellis: Take care.
Seeing the mother and daughter off, I finally let out a sigh of relief.
Kate: I'm glad her mother came to get her.
Ellis: ...Yeah.
The tone of his voice sounded stiff, and I turned around in wonder.
Ellis: ...............
Ellis, who had been smiling at the girl, had turned a calm face and was staring at the man with the eyepatch.
I followed his gaze and looked at the man again.
(That's right. Who is this man who suddenly appeared...?)
He has an unhealthy complexion, but he's tall and well-built.
He has a friendly smile, but his sharp, wolf-like eyes give off an intensity as if he's driven by something.
(Eyepatch... Performer.)
Then I remembered the physical characteristics of the "ringmaster" that Alfons had told me about.
*flashback*
Alfons: It's said that the one who invited her was Jake Grace, the ringmaster himself.
Alfons: From the characteristic scar on his eye, which he got from a wild animal when he was young, it was definitely him.
*flashback over*
(If he was active as a ringmaster 20 years ago, he must be at least in his 30s...? )
The man in front of me looks to be in his 40s.
(Just because he's wearing an eyepatch, I don't know if he has a scar on his eye, but--)
Jude: ................
Jude, who had been watching the scene with a cigarette in his hand, approached.
Jude: Ellis.
Ellis: Yeah.
At that moment, Ellis stood in front of me as if to protect me.
Jude: Hey, do ya know a guy named Jake Grace?
Tumblr media
Man with Eyepatch: Oh my, have I been found out! Indeed, I am Jake Grace himself!
Jude: .............
Kate: Huh!?
(He's so openly introducing himself!? )
Even though he's supposed to be involved in the kidnapping case, he's so carefree that I'm taken aback.
Jude, who was supposed to be setting a trap, narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
Ellis: I heard a rumor that you're kidnapping the performers. Is it true?
Kate: Ellis?
(If you ask him so directly, he'll be on guard...!)
But, despite my worries, the man shrugged and laughed.
Jake: Kidnapping? Me? Ah hah hah hah!
Jake: No way. It's true that I'm gathering people to reunite the circus. I'm calling out to them, but
Jake: Everyone is just agreeing because they're attracted to the charm of the circus!
(Eh......)
Ellis: ...... I heard that even those who refused your offer have disappeared.
Jake: Disappear? That can't be true. I'm a man of principle, I step aside cleanly when rejected.
Jake: As fellow lovers of the arts, we'll meet again somewhere someday if we live!
Jude and Ellis: ............
Tumblr media
(We actually saw a woman who rejected his offer get attacked by a gang.)
There's a big discrepancy between that fact and Jake's statement.
(But, he doesn't look like he's lying...... What's going on?)
Jude: Where are your new circus buddies who accepted your offer?
Jake: They should be at a mansion in the suburbs, polishing their performances without any inconvenience!
Jake: The other day, I saw a child in trouble on the street, so I invited them. They accepted without hesitation.
Jake: Children under 10 years old can easily improve their physical abilities.
Jake: If they can master tightrope walking, they can say goodbye to a life of scavenging for trash on the roadside!
Ellis: Are you the one who guides them to that "mansion in the suburbs"?
Jake: No? The owner of the casino ahead said he would invest in my circus!
Jake: Until the first performance, that person is taking care of them.
Jake: I'm going to meet him today about that.
Jake keeps a cheerful smile on his face.
(This refreshing way of speaking. And, judging by his response to the girl earlier... he doesn't seem like a bad person.)
(If that's the case, then this person might be--)
Ellis: He's being used as an accomplice in the kidnapping, but he doesn't realize it.
Ellis put into words what I wanted to say.
Jake: Hm?
Ellis: I think you're being deceived.
Ellis: Have you met with any of the people you recruited since then?
Jake: They occasionally send me letters. I still have to gather more people, so I haven't been able to go to the mansion.
Ellis: ...... Please check it out properly.
Jake: Alright, alright! I'll check it out. Thanks for your kindness.
(The troupe leader doesn't know anything. That means...)
Jude: We have no choice but ta' catch the leada' of the gang an' investigate directly.
Jude muttered in a low voice, sounding annoyed.
Ellis whispered in the same way.
Ellis: What should we do? Should we pretend to be aspiring members and infiltrate the casino?
Kate: Huh?
Ellis: Because the casino owner this guy is going to meet is either the leader of the kidnapping or a liaison, right?
Ellis: I think it's an opportunity.
(Indeed... that might be the quickest way to contact the kidnapper...?)
If we can condemn the leader here and cut off the source, the kidnapping case will be solved.
We can also track down the victims, and the mission will be completed in one fell swoop.
(But...)
Kate: Ellis and Jude, who are resented by the gang and whose faces are known...
Kate: Won't you be kicked out of the casino before you can meet the owner...?
Ellis: Can't we just hide our faces?
Jude: Our voices will give us away.
Ellis: Can't we just keep quiet?
Kate: ...... Indeed...?
(Huh? Could it be that we can infiltrate...?)
Jude: ............
Ellis: .............
Jude and Ellis exchanged glances silently.
I held my breath and watched them, and after a long silence, Jude clicked his tongue.
(This probably means, "It's a pain, but let's do it," right?)
He glanced at Ellis, and Ellis nodded as if to say, "That's right."
Jake: I feel a little lonely being left out of the conversation, so I'll excuse myself.
Jake: I'm not offended. As I said, I have an appointment to meet someone at the casino!
Ellis: Ah, wait a minute.
Jake: Hm? What's wrong?
Ellis: Won't you let us join your circus too?

Could you write about Julie befriending a reader that comes of as scary by accident?
(If you don’t do readers could you write about Julie befriending frank who comes of as scary when he first arrived?)
Thanks!
Oh no problem! Here’s some content for our favorite girl!
Julie Joyful x Unintentionally scary! Reader headcanons!
By yours truly, MsAdmiral💖🖤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
{💕🌸} When you first moved into Home, you had high doubts about the neighbors accepting you into the neighborhood.
{💕🌸} You had moved from your old home in hopes of starting anew in a place more accepting of your outward looks (and to get away from the constant judgment). You had been greatly persecuted in the past for your natural ominous aura and appearance. So once you saw how bright and colorful your new neighbors were, you thought you were in for some HUGE trouble...
{💕🌸} In your first few days in the neighborhood, you did everything you could to avoid social interaction. You stayed inside, you ignored the knocks on your front door, you only accepted gifts from your neighbors if they left them on your porch, you watched the neighbors play outside from your window... Basically ostracizing yourself out of fear and general anti-social purposes. You wanted to talk to your neighbors so badly. But then again, you were scared of what they’d think of you. Would they be like everyone else and push you away...? Would they discriminate against you for your appearance...? You didn't know. And you weren't sure if you were ready to...
{💕🌸} After a while of not being able to interact with you, most of the neighbors began to give up on trying to talk to you. But not Julie... She befriended an introvert once (Frank lol-) and she can do it again!!
{💕🌸} It took a bit of ‘mindful observation’ from afar for Julie to figure out your schedule (stalker who-), and she was finally able to figure out when you left your house for the store!
{💕🌸} Just imagine you were coming back from the store with a bag of your favorite snacks (specifically for one of your lonely depression binge snacking what-) when all of a sudden you hear “NEIGHBOR!! Neighbor, neighbor!! Wait up!! Neighbor!!!” screamed out from behind you. Think of an excited golden retriever at the dog park.
{💕🌸} Now, you could have two logical reactions in this scenario. One, you freeze in confusion and let Julie catch up to you. Or two, you make a freaking USAIN BOLT dash to your house. Regardless, Julie still catches up to you. She’s pretty fast for a little lady! “Hello there neighbor~!!! I've been wanting to meet you for so long, I just haven't been able to catch you until now!”
{💕🌸} You were horrified at first when Julie first caught you. But after a while, you got a bit confused. Flustered confused... She seemed so happy being able to talk to you and she didn't even seem slightly spooked by your appearance at all! You didn't know what to think...
{💕🌸} After a few minutes of excited chatter, Julie decided to drag you around the neighborhood to properly introduce you to all the neighbors- especially Frank since he’s her best friend (safe to say that you and Frank definitely bonded over your similar introductions). You were extremely mortified throughout all of it. But with Julie’s optimistic and encouraging attitude, you could say that you ‘warmed up’ a little…
{💕🌸} From then on out, you and Julie would hang out constantly- occasionally with Frank as well- and do everything together. Sleep overs, tea parties, picnic dates. Even just going out to get the mail!
{💕🌸} Julie would eventually help you open up to the other neighbors. It would take a lot of time, but she was patient! And after a while, you yourself became your own social butterfly- regardless of how your appearance made you stand out! But even as you got close to the other neighbors, nothing would overpower your friendship with Julie.
“Best friends forever, neighbor~!”
Tumblr media
Once again, so sorry for the wait! I’m multitasking a lot of things on my plate right now. Thank you for your patience! And thank you very much for your ask!
Have a good day/night, anon~!

tag 9 people you want to know better: i was tagged by @judyalvqrez - thank you! :D
last song: unsure exactly but it was something by Noah Kahan - I currently have She Calls Me Back stuck in my head so i think it was that one
favourite color: my favorites have been blue and green forever but lately i've been leaning more to the green
currently reading: not reading anything at the moment, i've been awful about reading this year. but the last book i read was i'm not done with you yet by jesse q. sutanto, which i really loved.
currently watching: i'm rewatching Lost for its 20th anniversary but I've stalled out a bit because i'm on season 5 which is my least favorite season, lol. but i just have to say that show truly is THE show of all time and if you haven't watched it i highly, highly recommend it - it's one of the only shows where i'm really like, wow, i wish i could watch this again for the first time.
last movie: finally got around to seeing Talk to Me! i really loved it - i could write a whole essay about modern horror and how when it leans into Horror As Metaphor for grief or mental illness or what have you it often leans away from the scary and ends up with saccharine, sweet endings instead of cathartic horror - Talk to Me does not do that, it manages to have the Horror As Grief metaphor while still making it twisty and scary and sad and awful. i loved it.
sweet, spicy or savory: savory!
relationship status: single, childless cat lady
current obsession: i'm sure none of you have realized this but it's Alan Wake. (specifically AW2 because i haven't played the original yet kjgskjdgh i've been too engrossed in the sequel BUT I WILL GET TO IT.) and for those who haven't played it, i wish i could truly explain what's so special about it but i don't know how. it does feel like it was specifically engineered to appeal to me, though - the way it does horror, the way it handles storytelling (both in how its own story unfolds and how it's a story about storytelling). the characters, god the characters! the obvious passion shining through from the people who created the game. i can't say enough about it, i really can't. don't know what i'll do when the final expansion comes out and it's really truly over. (i mean, i'll probably keep playing it, who are we kidding.)
tea or coffee: i don't really like either!
the last thing i googled: synonyms for bitter because i'm #attempting to #write
no-pressure tags: @unseemingowl @florallychaotic @grimdarks @jemmalynette @cleoselene @wecanbepirates @cathedralsofdecay
