Currently reading: I actually just finished a bunch of stuff, so I'm only reading a few things. Killing, Stalking Vol. 2 by Koogi, The Great Gatsby by F. S. Fitzgerald, and rereading Blood Sanation by @apoptoses because that WRECKED ME in the best way

Current obsession: the vampire chronicles. But I mean that never stopped being a current obsession tbh. Other than that, throwing myself headlong into teaching myself violin!

It must be said

Is Sangwoo hot as fuck?-yes. The psychotic hottie violent kink master narrative really gets me a type of way.

Is sangwoo “my babie mentally unstable dummy boy” no. He is not. He’s abusive and gross and horrible.

Is Yoonbum a victim? Yes, he suffers from childhood trauma and untreated mental illness that sangwoo takes advantage of but he does have enough sense to fathom running away and doesn’t, although for valid reasons.

Koogi wrote them like this. You’re not supposed to like either one of them by the end. They’re both horrible people. Wonderful characters, but absolutely terrible. And the whole narrative of “oh they’ll be together when they die” or “we want Bumi to find sangwoo” no we don’t. We don’t want him to find him because it was not love. It was an abusive cycle of one using the other (mostly sangwoo using Bumi)

As a victim of that kind of relationship I do understand yoonbums mind in all of this but it doesn’t make him a likeable character, which is another brilliant thing Koogi did with the series.

Stop glamorizing them please it’s really not cool. It was supposed to be painful and gross and sad and uncomfortable. Honestly if you wanted Yoonbum to end up with Sangwoo you haven’t been close enough to get it. That’s all.

People, who are saying that killing stalking was psychological horror and not a love story and we shouldn't cry about its(tragic) ending: Guys, its just empathy, a human emotion to imagine our selfs on place of sangwoo and bum. Their stories are tragic and and it's ok to feel sorry for them and even cry. Were humans after all, we have emotions.
