especially if you get him to sing along, and especially if it's a duet !! he may not know all the words or hit the right tunes all the time, but he truly does enjoy every moment he gets to spend with you .

karaoke is so fun with him !! he has the microphone in one hand and your hand in the other, and he's picking all the songs that you both and you two are singing so loud you swear the other booths could hear it -

while he doesn't like to show affection in public (and even then, goodluck with trying to get it in private as well), but he sure loves hearing your voice -- he could listen to you talk for ages, and he could definitely sit down and listen to you sing .

it's common knowledge that he likes listening to music, so i think that he'd swoon if you decide to make covers of songs that he likes.

doesn't matter if you think it's bad or not, he'll listen to it on repeat, constantly. working out? going out for a run? practicing? he has your voice playing in his ears the whole time.

he sends you playlists of songs that he really likes, and makes playlists of songs he think you'd like as well ! basically, his love language is making playlists of songs and sharing them with you.

if you try to recommend music to him, he'll give it a listen, but if it ultimately ends up not being his cup of tea then he'll put it in (you guessed it) another playlist that he can come back later to and revisit in his own time .

sing his favorite song for him in private . do with that what you will .

bottom line : these two are SUCKERS for you . one of them might not be as affectionate as the other, but ultimately they both love you ! they'll support whatever singing endeavors you have, and they'll root for you whatever happens <33

Ryui: …Hey there, sleeping beauty. 

Toi: Oh… 

Toi: Ani-sama…Ani-sama!!

Momiji: You’re right, we should leave it alone. Looks like he’s back to normal anyways. 

Yodaka: Now, Ryui. As we’d explained earlier, we’d been searching for you all this time. What is your next course of action? 

Ryui: …… 

Momiji: Why not come back with us to HAMA?

Daniel: No idea why you left in the first place, but there’s nothin’ to lose going back for now, right? 

Netaro: We lose money since the traveling costs increase. 

Daniel: Don’t be a bummer.

Nagi: Did you do what you came here to do? 

Ryui: …tch.

Nagi: That’s okay. Just forget about it and be a Ward Mayor with us. 

Ryui: Don’t put it so lightly, asshole..!

Toi: I want you to be a Ward Mayor too! 

Ryui: Alright. 

Momiji: Really!? That was fast! 

Ryui: What? You think I’d ever refuse Toi? 

Ryui: (As I am now, I can’t get into Aomori… I’ll definitely come back later. For now, I’ll head back to shitty HAMA, for Toi…)

Parallels among the murders of the same chapter are listed below:

Chapter 1, AKA: "In a murder committed out of fear and panic, after dusk, in a location where the protagonist appeared shortly before, a strongly motivated individual, after taking initiative on their own, is murdered as a result of a betrayal by the protagonist's best ally, after which the corpse of the victim is found slumped on the floor and during the trial for which the blame is for a prolonged time placed on the protagonist or their ally (who was indeed involved, but ultimately is not the blackened)."

Chapter 2, AKA: "In an attempt to maintain allegiance to an important individual and to uphold a sense of honor for their Ultimate title, a capable classmate bludgeons to death the mentally strong yet physically weak (or mentally weak and physically strong) fan favorite (who therefore ends up dying too early) in a hands-on-hands physical confrontation, after which the placement of the corpse as well as the "perceived" crime scene is messed with to pin the blame on another person."

Chapter 5, AKA: "In an unsuccessful attempt to bring the killing game to its conclusion, the most malicious student of the class orchestrates an almost perfect, convoluted and seemingly unnecessarily but indeed intentionally violent murder (which serves as a way of mangling the corpse to a point where the murder method is concealed), whose solving hinges on the protagonist's new but trusted ally's confession about their not-really-consenting involvement."

Chapter 6, AKA: "After a retrospective investigation that brings to light new circumstances about the game's setting as well as its previous events, an existential crisis consumes the remaining survivors as the identity of the class and the killing game itself is revealed, during which Junko Enoshima appears (of course), and which ends with the true protagonist killing the mastermind in order to seek redemption, freedom and hope for their classmates.

P.S. This whole thing was primarily inspired to by my desire to prove Nagito's assumptions from chapter 4 wrong:

Most of these are fortunatelly not true when we also take V3 into account: while Rantaro was important, he wasn't stabbed; a serial killer was revealed in the third chapter, not the in the second; and I wouldn't exactly classify chapter 4 murder as a suicide in either sdr2 or v3 (though we DID have two people playing Russian roulette in the Funhouse, yikes). All in all, the murders wouldn't have been nearly as shocking if they correlated with what had been already pointed out in the second game before, so I'm not really surprised that there ended up being other similarities among the murders.

platonic rarepairs ough,,,i think the first two i think of are tenko&shuuichi and himiko&tsumugi! i latched on to tenko&shuuichi right after the first trial when tenko threatens to beat kaito's ass for punching shuuichi (she seems to have a real soft spot for sad wet cat people. also LMAO) and there's this optional side conversation after shuuichi walks into the dining room without his hat where she says the others were insensitive by asking about something that should be kept between him and kaede, and she'll help carry on kaede's wish too and shuuichi has this soft little smile and!!! AUGH!!!!!!!!! their FTEs and love hotel together mean NOTHING to me they're so much more endearing in the main story. friends!!

as for himiko&tsumugi - i cannot for the *life* of me find it, but i swear there's this bit in one of the trials where she says she'll silence someone with a spell called the DEATH SPELL and tsumugi says 'um, well, i suppose being dead would silence someone pretty good!' and it made me laugh so hard i immediately latched on to them. i think a lot abt them hanging out on the sidelines,,making costumes together, talking about magical girl anime, becoming even closer once they joined the student council - and tsumugi being himiko's closest friend left by ch6. it would make the betrayal more impactful i think.

as for romantic rarepairs - i don't wanna say akasaiou since that just consists of three decently popular ships, so! i've been thinking a lot about gokutoujou lately :] gonta complimenting kirumi's spiderweb patterns and telling her she reminds him of a spider,,,kirumi being unafraid of gonta or his bug friends,,,formal dancing lessons that slowly transition into lazy circles as kirumi happily listens to him tell her about a cool beetle he found ○|￣|_ they're so soft. i just want them to fall in love as they realize the other wants them for THEM, not for any service they can provide.

Hi, friend! Yes, naturally I have some thoughts on this character. Just a few, really.

Sexuality Headcanon: I actually like a lot of different reads for Miu's sexuality. She's yet another DR lesbian who needs to be freed from comphet. She's pansexual who'd go for anything that moves. She's asexual and all her sex talk is a clumsy effort at blending in with a society that expects girls to make babies. Take your pick!

Gender Headcanon: Miu is transhumanist and not that attached to her fleshy form. She loves her boobs, but she'd be down with exchanging them for spherical cannons. She brags about having a bombass vajayjay, but she'd totally install a robot dick that shoots lazers.

A ship I have with said character: You already know, I'm irumatsu all the way. Just at a glance, Kaede is a fun foil for Miu: a friendly yet stern prep who dresses conservatively for a rude and goofy punk who casually wears BDSM gear. But Kaede's no meek square for Miu to pick on. She's got dignity, and she'll fight back. Thing is, Miu crumbles easily under the slightest pushback. Kaede understands that, but she'd never use it to get a permanent edge over Miu. Instead, she makes sure to be the one person who actually tries to understand the human being beneath the gorgeous girl genius. And that, in turn, encourages Miu to drop her defensiveness and open up for once in her life. It's really healthy for Miu ... and it'd keep things interesting for Kaede. This dynamic spins in my head like a dynamo. It's dynamite!

A BROTP I have with said character: Maybe you don't always need to have heart-to-hearts with someone. Maybe a relationship can just be two people dissing each other every day forever, and that's enough. Maybe Miu enjoys verbally sparring with Kokichi because he's the one guy who can actually keep up with her (he'd say it's more like she tries to keep up with him). A friendship of dueling wits, two people who spend their free time coming up with clever insults, trading them with each other at school, then ending it by asking, "Same time tomorrow?" In a way, they might need each other ... so they don't terrorize the rest of the world.

A NOTP I have with said character: Eh, I don't really have one? None that I feel too strongly about, anyway.

A random headcanon: Miu has very strong opinions on cartoons intended for small children. The kind of person who vehemently tweets that animation is cinema but only watches franchise movies from big studios. The kind of person who would tell kids they deserve to die for not caring about the original Teen Titans series. The kind of person who's ranked every episode of a show they barely even like ... Dang, I'd watch Miu's YouTube channel.

General Opinion over said character: One of my top three Danganronpa characters. Hell, top two. I love the huge personalities in these games, and few are bigger than the self-proclaimed gorgeous girl genius. Bombastic yet secretly meek, generous yet condescending, socially clueless yet sharp-witted, beautiful yet devoid of rizz, the worst person you'd ever know yet a person I'd like to have a non-alcoholic beverage with. She's awful because she thinks she's the best, and the worst part is that she's right. Miu fuckin rulez.

i think it started with this drawing from december iirc?? i accidentally set an overlay to "add" instead of what i was meaning to use, and it came out as this highlight thing instead which i found i kind of liked

eventually it evolved into like what you see now <3 its really subtle above but now i really like to use those bright highlights in places that you would usually see dark lineart!! it makes a really great contrast in art (at least i think so) :D

i dont often see people using highlights this heavily but!! whenever i do it makes me so happy bc i think its such an underrated tool fr <3

A very light flick to the forehead to make her forget the imagery she witnessed today; Mara. While Chihiro was fanning Kaede-- Noaki placed a hand on her forehead, healing the potential headache she might have when she woke up.

"You think I want that thing in my army!? Hopefully, she doesn't remember anythin'. No person needs to witness that.."

With the many kinds of demons she has witnessed, Kaede had thought by now, that she's seen it all. But god, was she wrong.... when her poor eyes had witnessed... that...

Thing.

And even worse when it had began to chase them!! The poor girl was screaming from that, and the horrifying image of that thing burned into her eyes, and the disgusting things it was saying all the while, too!! Thank godfully, the boys were able to take care of Mara, while taking turns covering the girl's poor eyes... Naoki flicking her forehead to knock her out was also very much needed, or else she definitely would have not recovered for the rest of this day... maybe even more......

"Hggghh...." After some time, Kaede finally awakens... Which was odd, she thought to herself: she doesn't remember going to sleep.... and even more curious, was seeing Chihiro fanning her with a book while holding her, and Naoki having his hand on her forehead. Thanks to his healing, her head didn't hurt nearly as much as it would have, otherwise. Her eyes dart between the two, looking very lost as she asks:

"!! Ch...Chi-kun? Nao-kun? Wh...What's this all about, did I pass out or something....?" Thank goodness... the memory wipe of the horrific events from earlier was a complete success...
