ANYWAY, I present a lil dribble Drabble because YALL ARE SO GOOD TO ME. 1,300 of you guys like the stuff I write! Yay!

Hypothetically speaking, not really hypothetically it happens routinely now, post mission everyone is a bit worse for wear. You included, so the captain gives everyone a few days to do nothing.

The issue with that? Work-acoholics. You stumble out of bed at six in the morning to get coffee, still in pjs to find Simon in the gym.

“Lt? Oh my god you’re naked.”

To that he gives a glare, reaching for the mask that laid discarded on the box, “Why ‘yer up?”

“Coffee. Why are you working out? You hurt your shoulder….sir.”

“Nun of your business.”

A second passes.

“Okay. does this mean I can go finish up the reports?”

“Ask the captain.”

“He’s gonna say I need to rest!” You would gripe, “I’m fine. I just see double and almost pass out I move too quick. I get the same way if I don’t eat for twelve hours.”

A pause. “You worry me.”

DAY 15: follow forever + my thanks

So those who have been around for the last few years know I usually post this on the last day of cheercember as a thanks for those who participated and sent in requests as well as just to thank all the lovely mutuals for hanging around and for giving to the fandoms in the way that they do. As you can see it's only Day 15 and that just kind of explains my year skjfslkjf. For those who don't know I was promoted earlier this year and I now have a dual role at my job and slowly as the year went by in order to keep up with things as well as for other reasons that happen within my career I started working 85-90 hours every two weeks. December was no different and by the time I got home I had little energy left to be creative or to sit in front of my laptop. However, that being said I do still plan to finish the requests and even my list (yes I had a list). I will slowly push them out through Janurary.

Now that that's all out of the way, I do really want to thank everyone (followers included) for making this such a fun space as we all need a little escapism in our life. And I also always appreciate your support! I hope you all have a happy new year and that good things find you throughout the year. Tagging my lovely mutuals beneath the cut & in the comments because tumblr put a limit on it . (if I forgot anyone I am deeply sorry)

Sometimes you need people to be patient with you. It's not that you don't love them, appreciate them or not want to talk with them. It is simply that life gets so busy and complicated you want to scream at all the sleepless nights and the burden of work that threatens to break your spirit and burdens your heart. Sometimes I am just too exhausted, have barely had time to eat or sleep, so much so I get sick from all the stress, and I just wish in addition to that I didn't have people being harsh, demanding and unmerciful with me because I can't meet their high expectations or give them what they need or want. But as always there is the other end of the spectrum, people who are patient, encouraging, that nurture you, even when you are not the best at responding. People who understand you because they know your heart. These people are my people and will always have my love and eternal gratitude.
