Eddie’s been on an international tour with Corroded Coffin for almost a year, opening for another big metal band. He’s not sure why he’s so unhappy. This is everything he thought he wanted, but the hollowness of being unfulfilled anyway eats away at him.

The band is playing in Paris, which is a big deal. Eddie’s never been before, so on their day off he takes himself on a little tour of the city to see all the highlights.

He stops at a cafe midday for coffee and sits outside smoking a cigarette while he just watches people go by (this is a very French thing to do) and ends up seeing none other than Chrissy Cunningham

Eddie calls out to her and Chrissy is thrilled to see him, telling him that she didn’t even register that it was him at first because he ‘looked so French’. She looks amazing. Glowing, happy.

Chrissy’s been in Paris since she left Hawkins. She’d taken all of the money she had a picked a place to go, and she’d always dreamt of seeing Paris. She’d gotten a job at a parfumerie as the perfumer’s apprentice, and now works there full-time. They talk for hours until Chrissy has to go, asking Eddie to please drop by her store before he leaves the city.

3. Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

ohhh.... this is a hard one. i'm going to give a little collection

a little silly, but tummy boy -- jacob drawfee's solo music stuff has been my background noise for the last bit. it's pretty fun! he had a enw release recently and it's very very good, and i love the pun of my gad is josh gad. guitar puns.

poor man's poison is a band i'd heard a few songs of previously (feed the machine, hell's coming with me etc) but hadn't really looked into their discography

@zinziinziiin sent me a rec of bernard fanning earlier this week and i've been listening to him between studying and i've been really enjoying it!

i've also gotten back into some of the post-punk stuff i listened to as a kid with my dad (recognized songs but never by name or artist sort of thing).

more seriously, i'd like to keep doing my little writing group! i met up with some people from class in my creative writing paper (you know this, you met them hjdfgjd) to work on projects and we were going to meet again but i lost track of time. i'm going to suggest we catch up again though!

you know what? i think lucerys finds extremely sexy the fact that jacaerys is prince of dragonstone 😩 like, people (the greens) can call them bastards as much as they want, but jacaerys is the heir and the prince of dragonstone and there’s nothing more targaryen than being the head of their ancestral home 😩🤍

There is nothing more Targaryen then being the prince/princess of Dragonstone. The birthplace of Aegon the Conqueror. Case and point, one of my favorite quotes from Luke (from the wiki):

Directors commentary for the baby baby series

the funniest thing about this series is that i don’t like unplanned pregnancy as a trope or baby/kid!Fic in general about 98% of the time. it’s all dependent on who is writing it tbh, but both are tropes that were quite common in past fandoms ive been in so im mostly just over reading it myself, so its never stuff i seek out. the fact that i have a series myself that uses these narratives is hilarious if you know just how much i don’t really fuck with it.

i imagine i’ll poke back around in that universe a few more times! pittsburgh!fexi has a place in my heart, but i allude to things in their past in california that i wanna get a chance to write down for yall to read. and maybe some things within that one year time period between part one and part three. and maybe some after part three. i have ✨thoughts✨

writing daddy kink was the most secondhand embarrassment experience i’ve ever had in all my years of fanfic writing. this series is the only one that will ever include that because i simply Can Not. but that said, i’m taken with the notion was a very good and much needed bit of happiness for me post angus passing because it was the first thing i could work on that didn’t have me in tears upon opening the doc ❤️

stop for a minute was written exclusively on my phone in gdocs over the course of two days because i sent beta sarah a text message from my classroom after bursting into tears when a string cover of stand by me unexpectedly popped up in the playlist i had picked for naptime and i wasn’t emotionally prepared for it. she followed that up with “but imagine lexi putting it on a playlist for her baby with fez and his reaction to finding it unexpectedly?” because she’s evil. luckily i already had a universe where this scenario worked out perfectly.

Earth: Something that always reminds you of a loved one?

Growing up, I moved around with a lot of family members due to my mother being an addict, blah blah whateva. So, my aunt had custody of me for a while, and she was always my comfort person. She genuinely loves me and wants the best for me and I know I can tell her anything and she’ll love me.

That being said, growing up, she introduced me to Jim Carrey movies like Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura. We always quote them together, and it always brings me great comfort watching those movies and remembering how we still recite the scenes together despite it being over a decade since we started doing it. ♥️
