Hey hey!! Chsbshshshs stephcass!! I do ship it, but also in that tangential casual way that betrays my main character lens for tim dhsbsbsbsbs so i dont have any big things to say abt them, they’re also a partnership that’s gotten a lot of development preboot, and has a lot more nuances and conflict than how theyre often portrayed as a side ship, but im not the right person to articulate it djdbdhshd

Kontim however,,,,, bdjssjjsjss i do ship it! Just,, well.

1. It takes a pretty special type of reading lens to read them, esp during the late-yj/titans era and not come out at least noting their chemistry. I thought the writing was on the wall the moment they shared a team it’s also an archetype ship i usually gravitate towards.

2. Theyre???? Kinda insane, aren’t they??? Just by canon standards they take ‘best friends’ to a,,,, degree. It’s actually really cute, that lowkey onesided rivalry to loyal devoted friendship that had tim both change his colors in tribute and go on that whole cloning path in grief- just totally bonkers!! Who does that!! Dynamic wise there’s a refreshing lack of baggage between them that makes conflicts be relatively clean and keeps their relationship pretty simple, relatively. A very reasonable thing to come out shipping if you have read any of their comics together.

3. Bdshhdshdhshshs i feel like i have to press that this is my personal opinion, but for me, personally, any aspect of kontim as a ship that’s interesting i feel is found… somewhat more excitingly in other tim ships, so despite everything i said idrc for them that much dhshshshs a bit basic package bundle for me

senshi hug: 10/10. that’s a solid hug right there. bit awkward with the height difference but they made it work

chilchuck hug: 5/10. i’ve been laughing at this for 10 minutes. an effort was made. points have been awarded for an obvious attempt at making chilchuck more comfortable but still is still the awkwardest hug i’ve ever seen. it is painfully obvious that laios once attempted to crouch down to hug chilchuck and received a kick to the nuts and was cursed out for 20 minutes, and has adapted to this so that chilchuck doesn’t kill laios or himself

marcille hug: 8/10. this is the way i hug my relatives that i don’t see very often at family events but it’s still a solid hug

shuro hug: 2/10. this is a great hug but points have been deducted because shuro is a bastard man

falin hug: 1000/10. THAT is a hug and it’s a damn good one. very obvious sibling love right there we love to see it

Controversial opinion but we need to apply anti-cringe culture shit to "edgy" art too. Like songs/poems/art/etc are not bad just because they're angry or sad or otherwise emotional and they're not bad for dark and violent. So much "edgy" stuff is just explorations of dark topics and/or mentally ill people working through shit via art.

Cringe culture isn't just bad when it's applied to positive expressions of emotion, it's also bad when applied to the angry and sad shit too. Let people be angry and sad in their art. It's fine.

Hello! For your ask game, can I ask ur thoughts of DamiTim?

Hey!! I see you’re rounding out the robin/tim line here djsbsbsbsh so yes, i also ship this one

1. It has the same enemies to lovers appeal that jaytim has yet its about a dozen times funnier me thinks djshshhs post-red robin which most people understandably use as a jumping point for tim-centric continuity the only way for the relationship to go is up. Not a lot of leaps to imagine how that can turn into something more romantic and be like ‘yeah i dig that’

2. They have a fun start that stemmed from mutual jealousy and simmered during a really bad time for the batfam and in that respects i dont think there was any way they couldve started on a better foot LMAO but considering those circumstances too i think it’s also simpler to reconcile with time.

There’s that aspect again of a surprising amount of commonalities beneath their surface differences and idk they feel like a ship that has a lot of potential with enough time.

I like this ship because of their relationship with??? Legacies??? I think??? Not just because its a refreshing change with damian following Tim’s frankly prolific tenure but also because?? Both of them have strong but different notions about the significance of the bat mantle and holding robin that affects their relationship w bruce and dick and ultimately eachother and it has a lot of playroom as a starter for a range of emotional sourdoughs.

I don’t think I’m explaining this well but 1. Being a teenager beefing with a 10 year old is inherently hilarious 2. Ngl a lot of weight on this relationship working is on Damian’s development 3. Between jaytim and damitim, the editorial decision to make these chars have a singular hatred and jealousy for tim is prime material for it to turn into admiration 4. Would they actually make eachother better tho??? Idk i think they’d lowkey be mutual enablers :////
