If he’s trying to make you jealous, two can play at that game.

You go to an on-campus bar with friends the following Friday night when you bump into a guy you recognize from one of your lectures. Once you realize he’s hitting on you, his eyes trailing down your cleavage, you feel the exciting twist of arousal deep in your stomach.

You invite him to your dorm. He seems shocked you’re giving him a chance. It makes him even cuter.

Rafe just got home from a night at the frat house when he hears you laughing in the hallway. He figures you’re with a friend or on the phone. Until he hears a male voice under your giggles.

He hears the door shut. Then music. Then… damn it. You’re moaning.

Suddenly, the knocking is on your door instead of your wall. You meet your classmate’s eyes and laugh with him, taking a pillow and covering your body with it as you answer the door.

Rafe is standing in the hallway, jaw tight.

“Check your phone,” he says. “I’ve been texting you.”

“I’m… kinda busy,” you laugh.

“Yeah, I can hear,” Rafe mutters. “I think everyone on our floor can.”

What I needed to tell you (Part 1):

A different kind of season has ended for me, full of learning, a lot of hard work and lots of love from my loved ones because they have had to take care of me in a way that I haven't needed in a long time.

I am very grateful to everyone who has made it possible for me to be back on the field, but I have to make some special mentions.

To my parents who came and took care of me practically every day since I was injured, perhaps you will say that it is normal because they are my parents, but all the affection and love they have given me, I am sure that without them it would have been much more complicated. THANK YOU, I couldn't have better parents. ❤️

And to you, Ingrid, for taking care of me, putting up with me, being there every day and giving me strength even though the season has been very intense for everyone and you already had enough with taking my position, I hope I have helped you "with my tricks" 😉😊 THANK YOU my heart. 🩷

During this time in which I have not traveled with the team, I have had much more time to spend with my friends, who have been an escape and a lot of laughter that I am infinitely grateful for because sometimes we forget that life too is just this, spending time with your loved ones and enjoying that company that we miss so much because of our profession but that is obviously what we choose because it is what we love, our beloved football. Day 3 of my Study-Diary + Tricks for my ADHD folks🌻

Hello dear people on Tumblr,

This is my third entry on this blog. And I can proudly say that I managed to study on this day too. 😊 Here is the proof:

Honestly this Study Diary really works for me. I feel a lot more pressure to study, so that I don't disappoint others 😅 Wich brings me to my next train of thought.

Since I started this blog I thought a lot and hard about wich things I do that makes my life with ADHD a bit easier, and wich one of them could be of use for others.

And now I would like to share some of them, in the hopes that they might help you too:

• Use Timers and Clocks: I mentioned this in my last post. But, I really cannot stress this enough. Use Timers and Clocks. Make sure to always know what time it is. It is crucial, so that your day doesn't vanish in a blink of an eye. Doesn't matter what you do, if you cook, clean, study etc. Your eyes needs to know the time!

•Use Sticky Notes, Calendars and To-do Lists: My brain works like this : "Out of sight out of mind". This most of the time makes me forget things like doing laundry, calling friends or checking up on my plants for example 👀 It is crucial to see your tasks in bright colours around you. Sometimes I even ask people to remind me of stuff, or set reminders on my calendar. So that I don't forget my appointments.

• Professor Barkley: Not a Trick per se. But he really helped me to understand this condition and to work with it.

Here is the link:

• Find easy Foodoptions: What I mean with that, is to find maybe pre prepared meals in your grocery store that are at least mildly healthy. Or maybe cook on the days where you are highly motivated a bit more and put that in the freezer. I often lack the energy and brainpower to cook myself something. So to just being able to shove something in the oven and microwave can be a blessing. (I think I will share some easy recipe ideas in the next diary entry)

Hello my precious twinkle, how have you been lately? I read about your promotion and congratulations!!! You deserve the best.

I have not been very active online lately because I’ll be leaving for college soon (don’t worry I’m 18 and not a minor😅😅) and have been feeling sooooo overwhelmed. I have absolutely no idea what I’m going to do in the future or where I’m going to go, nothing. I cry everyday thinking of everything and everyone I’m going to leave behind because I’ve never left home before. I rarely ever get to meet my friends outside school so I’ve just sort of isolated myself from everyone. My parents are so caring and I’m really grateful for everything that they have done for me and I don’t want to leave them at all. I know it’s a part of growing up but I feel I’m not ready to let go of my childhood. I don’t feel like I’ve grown up at all. The last two years of high school have been the best years of my life, I’m friendly with all my classmates and this is the first time it’s happened. I’m going to be all alone for the first time with no one by my side in a completely new environment and I’ve heard that people get swayed away with alcohol and smoking and I don’t want to be that person at all. I can’t bear the thought of disappointing my parents after all that they’ve done for me. Am I being childish?? I’m constantly told that I am…

Also TRUSTTTT when I tell you I have absolutely been there done that !! I don’t think I really truly knew what I wanted to do until a year into college and even then whenever I struggled in a class or didn’t feel passionate about a project I was constantly like…. “Is this what I want to be doing? Is this what I’m supposed to be doing??” Even in my current day-to-day tasks at my job there are a handful of things I just don’t enjoy doing and I have to really ask myself why I’m in this role and what I want out of it at the end of the day, and though I don’t love every single part of it, it’s still what makes sense to me right now. College wasn’t hard for me, per se, but it was very confusing learning to navigate life as a young adult and develop how to carry myself like a grown up when I didn’t feel like one at all. The best thing I can say is that you will learn as you go along! Push yourself out of your comfort zone and do your very best in all your classes, take your education seriously and invest in your future. And the rest will play out naturally. I didn’t secure an internship until my final year of college and only then did I really start to make a plan for myself, and ever since it’s just been a whirlwind of learning how to be an adult and interacting with senior leaders. Most days I’m still not 100% what I’m doing, but I just learn as I go! And don’t be afraid to admit to yourself or the people around you that this can be confusing or scary- honesty is what allows room for help. People will help you along the way, adulthood won’t just be throwing you to the wolves and expecting you to be great. You’re already halfway there- you got into college, you’ve made it to young adulthood, and people helped you get there! College and your life beyond that will be the same sort of thing. Be proud of how far you’ve come and keep pushing and learning from those around you until you get the hang of it. I promise you’re doing a much better job than you think (and I’d say your parents think so, too!)

Title: My Kirby OC - PopiKir (Popii Kirby)

Hello, my trusted friends! I introduce to you, PopiKir 🩷⭐ (or Popii Kirby)! The newest member of my OC collection, and this is my 2nd Kirby OC I made, since 2008 debut! 😀

BTW: I was gonna called her "PapiKir" (or Papii Kirby), but the name doesn't fit her. "Popi" or "Popii" is a neat fitting name for her, considering the name was based on the 2000s Anime, that I won't mentioned. (Sorry, its now my privacy. So, hope you'll understand.)

• PopiKir was a same alien species as him, she's part of the warrior of their planet (that we all know in the Kirby universe) as an army, along side with him. Not only that, her hobbies are very skillful like cleaning (chores), and cooking all by herself. The latter was her passion, and hopefully she'll be a successful chef on the planet.

MuruKir 🔵⭐: Sorry for the delay, folks! I was spending time, with my long lost twin sister from the fictional planet. 😊

PopiKir 🩷⭐: Yup, me and my twin brother we're used to be warriors of our planet, and the occupation still in our hands today. Also, our planet was filled with wonderful creatures adopted from earth, such as bunnies! That's why I'm always wearing it. 🥰🐰🤗

The heavy, thumping bass reverberates through the walls as you stand in the corner of the club. The club was never your thing. The floors constantly holding spilled drinks and other concoctions, the smell of BO and alcohol overwhelming your senses, the crowded atmosphere filled with sweating people… safe to say if it weren’t for Max dragging you out to be with the team celebrating you would be wrapped in blankets watching some sort of trashy reality TV show.

Max finally made his way over to you, a wide grin plastered on his face, clearly in his element here. He took in the sight of you. Every curve of your body, yevery way your hair falls, the way your eyes twinkle slightly when you notice him, the look of your red lips. He can never get tired of it.

"Hey, glad you made it out," he shouted over the music, the classic rasp in his voice showing as he clapped you on the back trying to hope you haven’t noticed his staring.

You managed a weak smile, feeling out of place amidst the pulsating energy of the club. "Of course," you replied, slightly raising your voice to be heard, “ you think I’d miss celebrating your Championship win?”.

Max gave a smile, “Never. Besides, if you said no, I’d find someway to get you to come over here.”.

You raised a brow at his statement. “Really? How so?”

Max let out a hum as he sloshed his drink in his cup. “Hm… I’m not too sure. Not seeing the cats are a good place to start.”, a smirk tugged at his lips.

Your raised brow turned into a furrow in disbelief, “You wouldn’t dare… not Jimmy and Sassy… they love me!” You exclaimed while Max gave a laugh, running his hand through his blonde stands, well more of him doing a hair-tuck to his nonexistent length. The conversation soon comes to a halt, although the music is booming, it felt as if it is just you and him in the entire world at the moment. It was your own form of silence. A comfortable one.

"How about we get out of here.” He suggested, breaking the silence.

“Leave? Max, we just got here! You said-“

“I asked you to celebrate with me, I never said where. It’s my Championship win after all.” He smiled, his eyes wrinkling from his proposition. “We only met here because this is where the team would be. It’s not as if they would notice we’re gone anyways… they are too wasted to even think.”

You tried to hide your smile but failed as Max extended his hand pressing it against your back, his eyes shining with mischief.

"Come on, let's get out of here," he urged. And suddenly, the pulsating energy of the club faded into the background as if the world outside those doors was beckoning to you.

You both stepped out into the cool night air, and beyond the hustle and bustle of the city, there was a strange serenity. It was as if time slowed down, and you found myself feeling more alive than you had in a long while. Max’s hand felt warm… reassuring… friendly. A steady presence in the midst of the urban chaos.

Being a woman in the industry of Formula One caused many controversies, let alone being a engineer to one of the possible best upcoming drivers in the history of the sport. From the sexist comments from other Formula One fans, to even your own people, co-workers in the workplace. Their degrading looks given to you if you even tried to hold a conversation with them was enough to be said. It wasn’t until a response to a interview did others begin to take you seriously. One that Max himself gave.

"Max, how do you feel about having a new, female engineer like Y/N on your team, especially during such a critical incident like the one with Bottas in Hungary? Do you think her gender affected her performance under pressure and can contribute to this race in Belgium? I mean, women are known to crack more under pressure then men.“ The interviewer asked as the room went quiet, a singular cough reverberating in the room from the tension of the atmosphere becoming so thick you can cut it with a knife.

“Excuse me?” Max questioned, his voice holding a tone filled of disbelief and slight disgust.

“I said, Max, how do you feel about-“

“No, no, I understood what you said I’m not deaf.” Her cut the journalist off making the journalist pause his speech and hold his tongue. “Look, I couldn’t care less about her gender. What matters to me is if she can do the job, which she’s been doing remarkably well. And as for the incident with Bottas in Hungary, she handled the pressure just like any other competent engineer would. It wasn’t her fault. I’ll take the blame for it. Her gender has nothing to do with it. If anything, it adds a fresh perspective to our team, and that’s a good thing. Now if anyone has any other questions like this asshole over here, I would pick another question to do.”

No one dared to speak of you the way the interviewer did.

After the interview, you approached Max who happened to be watching over some data from the sim. Blue eyes focused with such intensity that he didn’t even notice you.

”Max, I wanted to thank you for standing up for me in there. It means a lot to have your support." You commented softly, not wanting to disrupt him due to Max being known for his rather… straightforward and blunt responses.

"No problem. We're a team, and a team supports each other. Your gender shouldn’t matter in the first place. It’s all about weather you can do your job and your doing just fine.” He said matter of fact.

You nodded, feeling a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect. You weren’t used to it one bit. But it felt amazing. As if you can actually walk somewhere and not be treated as if you were a piece of dirt.

”Thanks you... I'm glad to be part of this team, and I'll keep giving my best."

A tender look graced your face as you remember the memory, finally gaining a friend in the hell of a industry, but you wouldn’t change it in the world if it meant that you got to meet Max and work with him. While you both walked along the quiet streets, the sounds of the city and the soft glow of the street lights enveloping us in a kind of magical cocoon.

“So… where are we going?”

“You’ll see.” was his only response, making you roll your eyes.

You two continued walking until you reach a secluded area on the white, sandy beach of the UAE. You look up to the dark, noir sky. The sun was long gone and the only shine that hits your skin was the moonlight, complemented by the clusters of stars crafting their own soft glow. Max stared at you as if you were some sort of marble statue, hand crafted by the Greeks.

How can someone be so beautiful?

The humming song from a nearby restaurant or bar was the only sound heard. It was a gentle melody, one that fits the mood so far into the night.

"Care to dance?” Max finally asked, snapping you out of your trance.

“Dance? What are we? In our early 20’s?” You teased, eyes meeting his blue eyes that glisten like the moon’s reflection in the oceans waves.

"Age doesn't define how we have fun," he retorted. You couldn't help but snort a bit, feeling the lightheartedness of the moment.

"Alright, why not?" you agreed, letting him lead you to a spot under the faint light of a nearby lamppost. He placed his calloused hand onto the small of your back, close to your hip just as he did to lead you out of the club, then leading your hand to be placed onto his shoulder

As the music enveloped you, you swayed to the gentle rhythm, feeling the warmth of the sand under your feet and the cool breeze from the ocean as his eyes meet yours.

`` I practice every day, To find some clever lines to say, To make the meaning come true ``

“I’m proud of you you, y’know that?”

“You’ve told me once or twice.”

“It’s true though.” You reassure.

“It’s just as true as me saying how beautiful you are.”

`` But then I think I'll wait Until the evening gets late And I'm alone with you ``

You let out a chuckle. “Smooth Max Emilian Verstappen. Very smooth. Practicing for some girl that caught your eye or something?”

His eyes slightly widen before losing contact with yours, “Maybe I am…”, his cheeks being brushed with a slight red.

“Well she must be a lucky girl. Anyone would be lucky to have you.”

It goes faint.

“Can-…” Max starts glancing back at you before cutting himself off choking on his own words.

“What is it, Max?”

“Godverdomme… can I tell you something?”

“Anything. I’m you friend after all.”

"I love you.”

“You… you what?”

Your movement stops.
