All that bein said, thank you kindly (anonymous) moot!! I'm so glad you enjoy my posts, and I'm happy we're moots too!! I hope you know that whoever you are, your art IS good enough regardless of what you draw or how you draw it! Creativity is a thing to hold pride in, no matter what! Anythin you create is the equivalent of a beautiful flower growin in the spring or a rainbow after a storm. It's an individual, beautiful thing that YOU created with your own two hands, and it should be cherished. Doesn't matter how good or bad you think it is, creativity will always be appreciated, at least by me if by no one else.

Anyway, take care of yourself, love yourself, cuz people out there care about you! (Me included!!!) This goes out to all o yall too btw!! Yeah, you, readin this.

movies and mishaps - m.o

I have had a baker au where his partner is a baker stuck in my head for what feels like eons so have my brain rot about it lol unedited - wc: 624

She remembered the first time he pulled her into his lap during a movie night. She had sputtered excuses and all Osamu did was laugh before he buried himself into the crook of her neck. He was nothing if not persistent in teasing her. (Excerpt from a long fic I wrote for myself that I won’t be posting lol)

She was knees deep in reality TV. It was her weekend tradition to catch up on all of the gossip and drama from her favorite shows, and to text all of her girls about it. That didn’t exactly change once she became friends with Osamu. She just made sure to watch it before he came over on Sunday. This particular evening, she was running behind, and embarrassingly asked if Osamu would mind watching it with her. 

“Y’a know I’m not… how do you say… interested in that kinda stuff right?” 

“I know Samu! But I’m behind, and if I don’t watch it tonight then I’ll have to watch three hours next weekend and I don’t have that kind of time,” she whined. He looked down at her big doe eyes, pleading with him. “I’ll tell you all the tea! You’ll catch up in no time.” 

He sighed dramatically, plopped on her couch and took his sushi. “Come on then. Put it on.” 

“SAMU YOURE AMAZING THANK YOU!” She took her own onigiri from his store and turned it on. She whispered details to him, who to love and who to hate, in between the romance and the dates. She didn’t think about any implication that watching a dating reality TV show could mean, but it left Osamu thinking about all of the dates he wanted to take her on. 

During a scene where the couple on the screen was slow dancing, Osamu was gazing delicately at his friend. Her eyes were trained on the screen, and she was muttering misgivings about the two people. “They literally aren’t even good for each other…”

Osamu’s heart was full and soft for his friend (coughandcrushcough). He grazed his fingers on her thigh, allowing any inhibitions to be thrown out the window. He was tired of the space that was always between them. The awkwardness to not get too close, the glances and blushes, and the lingering touches were too much for him now. He drew mindless shapes on her knee with his fingers, and she whipped her head around. The two locked eyes and he smirked. Her cheeks became red in the dark. 

“S-Samu? Did you need something?” 

He moved closer to her and pulled her into his lap, releasing a quiet groan into her skin as he buried his face into her neck. His arms were tight around her, and he chuckled as she stuttered her excuses. 

“Woah, S-Samu, I, uh, oh, uh, um.” It only made him hold her tighter against him, squeezing her waist. 

“Yer so cute Sugar,” he whispered. It took everything for him to not mark up her neck and shoulder. To sink his teeth into her skin. She steadied her hands on his biceps and shivered when his lips grazed her neck when he spoke. 

“S-Samu…” her voice quivered. He pulled away just enough to look at her, his eyes low and he grinned at her cheekily. 

“What’s up sugar?”

“You’re so rude!” She smacked his arm and blushed at the firm muscle. He gently tickled her sides, savoring the warmth of her skin.

“Nahhh I’m not.” He gave her hips a squeeze. “Turn around sugar, watch yer show.” She went to move off of his lap, but he kept her there firmly. “No, yer stayin’ put. Just watch.” He massaged her shoulders and arms, and she slowly settled into it. “Yer tense sugar. Just relax, okay?” He whispered in her ear. She nodded and leaned deeper into his chest. He moved his hands to rest on her stomach, and she felt herself dozing off in his arms. Soft snores came from her a few minutes later. He pressed a tiny, (almost) unnoticeable kiss to her head before whispering,

“Goodnight Precious.”
