1. What made me ship it: ACADEMIC. RIVALRY. Thinking of them arguing over theories into the late hours… rumours around campus of them being secretly a couple but they’re both able to hide any clues to their actual relationship,,,, quick kisses between classes that only they know about,,,, tearing my hair out about them actually

2. Favourite thing about the ship: that even when they separated from each other, they still have connections like how Micolash can use the arcane and Laurence definitely using the latter’s studies into interacting with the Great Ones like the Moon Presence. And I also 1000000% love the interpretation that Micolash is one of the only people who can fully understand Laurence and his actions. He knows what makes him tick and what to say to get the genuine side of him

3. Unpopular opinion: I want more fan works of them just talking. Showing off their intellects and trying to one up each other in the most homoerotic way possible

This past Saturday marked the five year anniversary of Mega Man Ultimate's conception, and my good friends got to see a slides presentation of my sizeable archive of five years worth of concept art and early sprites dating as far back as late 2017!

One such early sprite was the very first stage select portrait for Zap Man, in which I had drawn him in a front-facing angle rather a 3/4ths angle. My sister @stephysalcido suggested I ought to remaster Zap Man's original stage select portrait, and what I ended up with not only exceeded my expectations but looks wicked cool too! 💙✨
