What’s the greatest improvement you’ve made to your writing during your journey?

Even though it's still a struggle for me and not the best, I think dialogue. A tutor and great writer advised me to be 'realistic, not real', and it always stuck with me. Also the value of how to speak without words in my writing. I really love low dialogue movies and shows/scenes and I tried hard to emulate those feelings in my writing.
