SELLY! hello my beloved. it is sleepover time and this is perfect bc it is past midnight and i am not sleepy at all!😌

here is a funny story which is also kind of a confession cause i've never talked about it to others before. a couple of years ago, there was this ad for a popular biscuit saying that if you microwaved it the chocolate inside would melt and it would taste even better. ofc i had to try it - i put the biscuit in a glass bowl and heated it a bit and it worked! i devoured it happily. the second biscuit was out of the packet in seconds but i was so distracted by the thought of the gooey warm chocolate in the crunchy biscuit that i miscalculated the time i put in.

the microwave started emitting smoke :) i panicked. shut the power, opened the door. the biscuit had burned entired and the glass bowl broke 😭😭😭 my mom was so mad about that😭

anyways i learned how to heat things up properly after that😭

i actually have a pretty similar story!!! 🤧 i don’t use the microwave often just bc sometimes i’m lazy to heat my food… but also prefer heating things up on a pan!! (our microwave also broke & since it’s barely used, we just never replaced it)

so!!! the day i finally had to heat smth again was in my best friend’s house 🥹 i forgot what it was, i just know there was aluminum foil involved 😃 and god bless me (tbh i think he did) bc i almost burned the house down 😃 it was a good thing i turned to my bsf to ask how to operate her microwave before starting it, bc she saw me put the bowl in w the aluminum foil on and was like ‘wyd u can’t do that!!!!!’ 😭😭

i still don’t use the microwave often, but am very careful now with what i put in it when i do 😭🥹

1) Why do you like this ship?

I like the potential!! I think Steve and Eddie suit each other in a really fun way, and offer something to each other in their dynamic that they don't get elsewhere (being seen and supported for Steve, being protected and reassured for Eddie)

the Joes have amazing chemistry too which is pretty rare between actors and they just fit together so well??? Steve being the sword and Eddie the shield.. co-parenting Dustin... the jock and the outsider... Eddie making Steve flustered when he's usually the one doing it...

they just fit and I adore them and I could go on forever let's go onto the next!!!

5) If they had pets what would they be?

oh ho this is a good one. I can't imagine either of them having a pet they'd keep in the house and maintain bc they're forgetful boys and can't even keep a plant alive... but I guarantee you that they have emotionally adopted every cat that passes their apartment

they have names like 'scraggle' and 'ozzy' and 'cheese' and Steve and eddie both greet the strays like people when they see them and exchange stories ab the meetings when they get home like you would a story ab a coworker that did smth stupid that day

I've written it both ways I think and honestly??? depends on the context

Steve would do it purposefully. he'd plan it, woo Eddie, do it all proper by taking him out and holding doors for him and wiping his sweaty palms on his trousers when Eddie asks him what the hell is wrong with him. he'd tuck Eddie's hair behind his ear in a classic Harrington move then just say it. Steve goes after what he wants and as soon as the sexuality crisis is after he'd absolutely go after eddie

Eddie however I think would just blurt it accidentally when the jokes escalate to the point of madness. he's a joke flirt, likes to see people blush, especially Steve. by the time he realises they're real feelings it's already too late and Steve is used to his antics. so, he ups his game. starts being sweet. then one day when they're both comfortable in their little game Eddie just blurts that he's halfway in love with Steve and neither of them are sure whether to laugh because it's always been a joke right??? but Eddie's learned not to run so he doesn't back out and just says it again with more surety

so honestly... I'd like to see Steve trying to woo the shit out of Eddie and work his way up to confessing his feelings just to have Eddie blurt it out. it'd fit. I'd love it.

Steve is the prince, ready to become king, and Eddie gets roped into being his manservant and god isn't that perfect he has to dote on asshole Harrington night and day. the kids are the Knights, bumbling but loyal to their prince (Dustin plays the role of gwaine because of course he'd be Eddie's bestie).

Nancy as Morgana and robin as Gwen because the royal and servant dynamic never gets old

Steve and Eddie get closer and tease each other and all too quickly realise they'd die for each other. the sword and shield motif... the way magic is a metaphor for queerness.. Steve in a billowy shirt.. uncle Wayne being the loyal and sarcastic Gaius...

And almost always, Jungkook comes back with Nabi cradled in his arms, her fake tears still glistening in her eyes as he carries her into bed.

You remind him that it's not good to let her get used to this habit, and he always defends it by saying he can't resist letting her sleep with you both. "Her big tired eyes melt me into letting her sleep with us."

Jungkook finally gets to experience firsthand what it means to turn putty at the sight of round, sparkly doe eyes.

And just as Nabi has a habit of wanting to sleep between her parents, Jungkook has a habit of snoring. Every night. Though he claims he doesn't snore as loudly when you complain and you always give him an incredulous look, snarling back, "how would you know?"

All three of you are cuddled up in bed, Jungkook’s snores richocheting off the walls as you're deep in sleep—except for Nabi.

She's squirming in bed, the covers getting pulled and tugged with the movements of her little body, which causes you wake up. Your eyes flutter open.

You just catch the moment when Nabi raises her tiny hand and smacks it against Jungkook’s cheek just enough to create a soft echo of the slap.

Jungkook's snoring comes to an abrupt halt.

He grumbles, shifting to adjust his position and escape whatever just hurt him, all while keeping his eyes closed.

You stifle a giggle as you watch him groggily scratch his cheek. Nabi's big, curious eyes drift to your smiling face, and she wriggles her way back to you.

"Good job, Nabi," you whisper, pulling her close. She snuggles into your side, her little fingers curling around your chest as she nestles in.

"Did she just hit me?" Jungkook mumbles, still half-asleep, his voice thick with confusion.

You laugh softly, brushing a hand through Nabi's silky hair.

"Your snores annoyed her," you say, giggling. "See, you are very loud."

"Nabi's ruthless," he huffs.

Jungkook cracks one eye open, glancing at the two of you cuddled up together.

"Traitor," he mumbles, pouting in mock betrayal. But he quickly switches back, leaning in to drop a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Sorry, baby. Dad didn't mean to be so loud. I'll let you sleep now, yeah?"

Nabi lets out a little yawn, her tiny mouth stretching wide as she snuggles deeper into your side. The sight of her small, sleepy face and the way her eyelashes flutter as she fights to keep her eyes open melts both you and Jungkook.

Jungkook shifts to make more room, his arms wrapping around you and Nabi in a protective, cosy embrace.

You rest your head against Jungkook’s shoulder, the three of you nestled together in a perfect cuddle pile. As Jungkook’s breathing gradually synchronizes with Nabi’s, he kisses your forehead, his touch tender and loving.

"Love you, and I'm sorry."

"Love you, and it's okay," you whisper back.
