What would the Eliksni words be for the other races? Give, Scorn, Vex, humans, etc. I guess Scorn could be considered 'ghouls' (vathyarov, if I remember correctly?).

I feel this answer might be a tad disappointing haha（；^ω^）but they basically are just the regular name of the species in Eliksni spelling/phonetics. I'm going w the names the factions use for themselves (or in the case of the Cabal, the fanon name Uluran since we haven't been given a canonical name for them in their own language yet even tho its been like 2 fuckin years since we became buddies w caiatl BUNGIE GET ON IT)

Human = Huumen (double u is the long u sound like in "book")

Hive = Heiv

Vex = Veks, this one features in a line of my Null Composure translation actually, lol

Uluran = Uluuraan

Scorn = Skorn

Taken = Tehken

Good memory that "vathyarov" means ghoul! Yes, the Scorn could be (and probably are) described as such by the Eliksni, altho similar to Guardians, it's more of a derogatory term than an official name for their people.

youre doing gods work documenting the lore for this game. i stopped playing a few seasons ago, but i have wondered what's happened since i left, and it seems hard to find people on youtube playing it through for the story. thanks for putting it all together like this

The Timeline Lore is actual a new thing Bungie put in the game theirselves.

All I'm doing is taking the picture, editing into a graphic to use here on Tumblr, and relaying the info in the boxes.

I know not everyone is able to stay up to date with Destiny, but still might want to know what's going on.

I also know that the little blurbs that Bungie gives us in the Timeline is NOT enough to explain everything. So each event does link to the website, ISHTAR COLLECTIVE , an amazing site ran by members of the community devoted to the Lore of Destiny. More specifically their Timeline which has links to lore books, in game cinematic scenes' transcripts/videos, and much much more.

Once the new expansion launches I'm sure Bungie will up date the LIGHTFALL portion of the timeline to better explain the events, then I will make a new part to the Timeline posts.

But if you don't want to wait til then I would suggest starting with the ISHTAR COLLECTIVE TIMELINE
