Hello, I hope you are doing well. I was looking through your art and I find it very inspiring on how you draw your ponies.

I wanted to ask just out of curiosity; what program do you use to draw your art and how long does it take you to create your pieces?

Hellooo! First of all, thank you, I'm happy you like my art! :'D

To answer your first question, I only use Clip Studio Paint (i like their tone layersss) for my art. It's 10/10 and goes on sale pretty often. However, if you're someone who can't really afford to spend money on an art program, I recommend FireAlpaca. It's totally free, and what I used exclusively for like... 4 years lol. In fact, this Sweetiebot back from Inktober was drawn in FireAlpaca!

As for the amount of time it takes for me to make a piece, it mostly depends on the subject. If it's a standard pony, I'd say it takes me around ~1-2 hours (these Octavia & Startrix pieces are good examples).

Humans/humanizations take me a lot longer, since I'm always very indecisive about their outfits. I'd say they collectively take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours.

And, I know you didn't ask for these, but I've had some people ask me what kind of brushes I use, so here's those:

Writing Shop Talk ask meme! 🌵- What did you start with first for your WIP? Worldbuilding, character, or plot?

uhhhh for devil dogs it was a poem. like i wrote a little poem based on what i knew about like, historical christian reactions to werewolves (also secular reactions to werewolves, but the 1 where the devil gives werewolves the ability to shapeshift is more relevant to my upbringing ig) and then from there sprung the characters as they are today. i guess this is a case of the vibe coming first lol, but then it turned into a story about a werewolf child driven from his home by a former friend, and then about the reunion of these two characters. in this case the character development actually came last, and i'm still figuring these two out as i write! they're pretty solid atm, but every time i realize hazel is funny it's like a bucket of water thrown over my head

meanwhile the wolf's tooth characters came long before the story, and that took the longest to work out, and the fixed characters were in development at the same time as the story, which i was just kind of writing without any planning whatsoever (which is why it's stagnated for so long, oops). i'm multifaceted lol

🎻- Where do you look when you need some inspiration?

i don't really go looking for inspiration because i know that i'm not going to find it lol, but it'll hit me when i'm not looking when i'm watching things like horror movies or video game walkthroughs. i get a lot of inspiration from stories that i mostly like that just have a few things i absolutely hate that i think i could fix if given the chance, lol, but i don't really put those ideas into my work so much as they just imbue me with creative energy

🔪- How do you feel about writing fight scenes?

they're fine! they can even be fun! honestly i think that writing fight scenes might be easier for people who chronically overwrite, because it's easier to chop something up and shave it down than beef it up in my experience. i don't feel very strongly about it at all, and think i'm pretty good at it

BUT when Dante is home, he makes sure all of his free-time is spent making up for his absence.

Never much of a romantic, he won’t take you to fancy dinners or extravagant dates - but rest assured, you’ll never be bored or feel any less valued.

Breakfast in bed, movie marathons, and competitive video game matches will make it feel like you two are just like any other domestic relationship.

Cases of empty beers shared between you two as you spill secrets and swap memories til the sun rises.

He hogs all the blankets at night. And it doesn’t matter how many time you try to yank them back, you’ll always be stuck with only the end corner to keep you warm. (Little do you know, this is an intentional ploy so you’ll cuddle up with him throughout the night).

Dante’s love language is absolutely touch. Not necessarily in a sleazy way (though he’s not without his moments), but more like a puppy dog. He’ll curl into your lap as you watch tv, despite his massive frame. Whine and complain when you stop playing with his hair, even if you’ve been doing it nonstop for the past hour. There’s not a moment of independence when Dante is with you.

Dante will feel guilty for not being able to settle down and be a proper boyfriend to you; it will definitely mess with him and possibly even psyche him out of the relationship as a whole. But, with your constant reassurance and unconditional love, he’ll do his best to be present for you and your situationship.

Happy Holidays!!! ft. HibaKana, YuiHiyo, TsunaRumi and ReboApp 🥰🥰🥰 I wanted to draw something for the holidays and remembered that @butterrdream sent me a wonderful set of art bases a few weeks ago, talked a bit on which of our ships suit which base.
