YOUR WORK IS SO COOL!! I do have a question: as a novice artist myself, what do you use to make your animatics look so clean? What software do you use for drawing/editing, how do you upload it, etc. I’ve been trying to figure it out but am having a hard time. Could you explain it to me as if talking to a drooling baby ? They look clean because i treat each frame as if they were lineart for a fanart (instead of considering them animatic frames(tm) where it would be okay for them to look a lot more rough)

Anyway here's how i make animatics!

first i make screen-sized rectangles with the lyrics on the bottom (depending on how i want the animatic to look like, i leave more rectangles for each lyric) (and if that's for a short ~25 seconds video, i don't bother writing the audio below the rectangles)

Then sketch out the ideas until im satisfied with the plan

dedicate a folder for each frame

draw the frames

then i upload all the frames + the audio into Adobe after effect (i have no idea how after effect works but i try my best XD)

then BAM ya got yourself an animatic!

Hey, sorry for not answering earlier, these last few days were a rollercoaster to say the least but now things are way better !^^ Also I'm always glad to talk with you, no need for it to be fire emblem related >=)

I've gotta say, that's a really interesting question. I listen to a lot of things I find around on youtube because otherwise it's difficult for me to focus, but I can think of a few.

For instance, Scott Christian Sava, whose channel i discovered fairly recently, is an artist i really enjoy following because he's just a really sweet and open-minded person. His videos actually got me over my fear of painting !

But off the top of my mind I'd have to say Mark Narrations is probably the one I listen to the most. Every morning during breakfast, I settle down with my cup of tea and I listen to one of his videos ! ^^

I also listen to a lot of True Crime documentaries (when i'm going for a run, for instance). In which case, Stephanie Harlowe and MacSky (French youtuber) are my go-to channels !!

Then there's also Cinema Therapy, which is basically a duo of friends (one movie maker, one psychologist) who explore different themes pertaining to mental health in movies. It's really wholesome and informative !

There's certainly plenty i'm forgetting, in which case I'll come back to this ! ^^ In the meantime, you can be sure i'm definitely gonna check out the channels you suggested >=)

Now I'm gonna be totally honest, I DO have a favorite twin and its Ingo <XDD But I also fully understand and support your point!

What makes Ingo and Emmet so fun and interesting to me is their bond! How they mirror each other, how they interact, their strength as a team! Sure separating them for the angst is great an all- but truly showing them together and more importantly as equals is where the good stuffs at!

This is also why I usually try to wrap up their separation arcs in my AUs, and also don't really enjoy reading any Legends Arceus content.. seeing Ingo alone is not only heartbreaking,, but its also just not as fin. Ingo and Emmet are stronger together :)

For 1, to keep with the theme, I would want to/have to make this cape IRL in order to add it to my sona. Now if the last 4 quilts have shown me anything? Its that I'm not super great at making quilts <XDD

If it was that challenging to make it on a smaller scale? I cant imagine how much trouble I'd have trying to make a full size one! <XDD Plus buying the materials... having to physically get up, go buy the stuff I need and make it. Ah, that is cool! Thank you! (I found out about the Game via JT Music's Cult of the Lamb rap (which is GREAT), and I'm just not very good at managing a ton of things under pressure while simultaneously having to do x other things. (I don't game enough for that).

I'm looking forward to dipping my toe into the game again, I just had two or three followers so far!!

I only started Cult of the Lamb and was afraid it might get too stressful - does it? I hope not. :/

I guess it depends what stresses you personally :') For me it became very relaxing and addictive once I got into the rhythm of things - setting up automatic farming etc. When you're at camp, time runs. The hussle is a bit like with Stardew Valley but not as bad, because you can choose for time to stop when you go into the dungeons to fight, which helps a lot. (But I "cheat" and do automatic fishing because if I do that manually everyone is sick, hungry and heretic by the time I return.)

If you get easily attached to cute animals and don't want to have to kill them, that might be stressful, too, but I got used to that ok because there's always enough of them around and you can resurrect them, too. And when they become heretics they are super annoying, so... *stab*... >:) But that side of the game is a little snarkily brutal. Don't give them your blorbos' names. Go with Huhnbert and Kuhnigunde.

shaggy comes from a family of paranormal investigators. at barely 16 years olds he returns to his hometown of coolsville with his dog after his super rich parents tell him it’s time to live up to the family name, taking him there specifically because of many rumors about cursed areas of the town and crmiinals who take advantage of said rumors to pretend to be monsters themselves. while there he reconnects with his old childhood friends and eventually all together they form the mystery inc... and have to deal with a benevolent yet very clumsy spirit who took over scoob’s body

character thoughts under read more!!!

shaggy is, again, the last of a family of paranormal investigators, who ever since he was a child had to deal with his parents bringing him in adventures and dealing with (real and fake) monsters. you’d guess that would make him brave, but. no that just made him very paranoid. while he acts like the team’s straightman, he’s also the only one who knows how certain monsters work, ironically working as one of the “brains” of the group!

scooby, again, used to be a normal great dane. a little lazy, not even particularly friendly, at least until shaggy brought him with him in coolsville; during their first night out. while he ends up falling into a trap, a benevolent ghost takes over his body, making him able to talk and tell the kids that coolsville is in big trouble and that they need to stick together. overall, he’s the team’s mascot, someone who’s directly connected with the main antagonist similarly to the mystery inc series, but also a goofy spirit (and now dog) who’s appreciating life!!

velma is a seemingly distant and cold nerd, but also the first one who joins shaggy in his adventures after she learns that all the curses and mysteries of her town might be real. her knowledge and ability to think on the fly comes from her being a dnd player and, most importantly, a dungeon master, and out of everyone she’s by far the bravest member of the team.  while a little snarky and with a lot of problems with social cues, she’s a smart and quick thinking young lady who’s happy to be part of a real adventure. and also has a girlfriend who may or may not be yet another monster since her being into criminals and monstergirls is a recurring trend now

daphne is part of the popular girls in school, but since we hate stereotypes she also has a reason to be popular other than “she’s pretty XD”. tiktok influencer and vlogger, she joins shaggy and velma almost by accident uhhhh i’d say 3 or 4 episodes into the series, maybe trying to start off a paranormal youtube channel, and eventually gets very close to them. the assigned people person, she knows everything about everyone in town and is generally very charismatic, but make her angry and she’ll make sure that you will remember with who you’re messing with.

fred, daphne’s boyfriend, is a member of the football’s team and the mayor’s son... and for “half” of the first season, he unknowingly acts as a minor antagonist, since i’d say. down with the politicians, the mayor is one of the bad guys, and with fred being a total himbo he accidentally works as his spy. eventually he finally understands that something is up with his dad, especially thanks to daphne who reminds him who truly cares for him, and eventually shaggy and velma too, with who he shares good memories of pretending to be detectives together and watching “that one weird show with the talking dogs and the kids looking for ghosts... goober or something!” he finally becomes the team’s wild card, the brawn and. yea i’d bring back his love for traps and elaborate schemes. he and velma become super besties after she tells him about her latest dungeon in her session
