Working with

Thalia Capos

In December 2019 I was lucky enough to be contacted by Thaliacapos, a company based in the United States which specialise in stunning guitar capos and other products like straps and picks. They use high quality and eye catching materials like mother of pearl and other exotic shells.

I had previously purchased a gold capo with mother of pearl inlays from them and used it in my Instagram videos and I tagged the company’s account and used their hashtags. ThaliaCapos then reposted a few of my videos and then contacted me via direct message on Instagram.

They offered me the chance to design my own guitar strap, so I sent them a digital mock-up of my design and they sent me the beautiful finished product this year.

They were able to laser etch the design in ink over a layer of mother of pearl. This method allowed me to choose a more detailed and elaborate design. They were even able to do the design in red ink although they typically only use black ink. Here’s some pictures of the finished strap.
