Hello and Welcome to another episode of me actually being invested in a creation of mine the second someone expresses and interest in it (this time featuring me arting because someone sent me an ask)

Anyway Ummm the original concept drawing ended blowing up WAYYYY more than I thought it would so thank you I suppose- Do I know anything about Ice sakting? Pffft no... Does it matter? Hell nah.

Take these doodles I thought were mildly interesting. I'm thinking that the AU would lean more towards like skating racing instead of dance stuff but we'll see... maybe both! who knows!

Hi TG Fandom!!!! 

(Climbing out of my work cave with this little AU, since I haven't had any free time to write BUT I did get some snazzy new forearm crutches to use when I teach and give lectures so this dude is winning at life tbh). 

Weird stuff starts happening when they're about a week into Top Gun. 

All the flyboys are trying to befriend Maverick, but he's making it impossible. That, or the guy just has selective amnesia. 

Wolfman tries to talk to him in the lunch line, but the sleep-deprived Maverick in front of him just walks right past him… in the wrong uniform? Is that a priest’s collar?

Hollywood has something similar happen to him, when he goes on a jog and bumps into Maverick pushing a baby in a stroller. A sleeping baby with a red pacifier in it’s mouth and a small girl with pigtails skating beside him. And is he wearing rollerblades too?? Hollywood tries to stop him in surprise, but Maverick shoots him a dirty look and keeps skating, tugging his kids closer. Rude.

Slider and Ice have their own trippy experience when they have to go to medbay because Ice twisted his ankle again — the man refuses to tape it properly — and another doctor pops in to grab a chart and it’s Maverick???

“Mitchell, what the hell?” Slider snaps, neither of them thinking Maverick was old enough to be double-certified. 

But Maverick looks stunned and very confused. “I’m sorry to interrupt, but I needed this?” 

He keeps that weird look on his face as he ducks out the door and when they ask him about it in training, he just gives them the same weird look! 

It comes to a head when Chipper and Sundown see Maverick talking with another officer and walking down the hall one minute. Then, they duck into the hangar and Maverick is sitting right at his desk, chatting to Goose. 

It has to be a massive prank, it has to be!

Until they finally confront Maverick and Goose about it, and Mav turns bright red, while Goose can't stop laughing to save his life. He's honking and wheezing up a storm. 

“Oh God,” Goose finally gasps out, “The boys are never going to let you hear the end of this. You forgot to tell them!”

“Well, it wasn't the first thing that jumped to mind! Teddy isn't even Navy!”

Goose thwacks his pilot upside the head. “Lynds, Mal and Kiff work on the same base as us!” For the greater flyboy population he finally adds, “Identical quintuplets.”

Yessireee, five whole Mavericks, exactly what the world needed. 😂

Jm gets Jk (the shy new coworker who doesn’t talk much whom he finds adorable). His eyes sparkle embarrassed when he reads Jk’s wish: a date. He tries his best to prepare the perfect ‘date’ for Jk hoping he won’t be disappointed that Jm is his secret santa. Little does he know...Jk cheated so Jm would pick his name. How will the date go? What did Jm prepare...?

ok so i think this could go either one of two ways. either A, bc pjm is fricking amazing and awesome and the sweetest ever, he prepares the cutest and perfect little scavenger hunt around their work building; the last clue being a note in a cute little heart shaped box with a bow on it giving a location and lil message telling jungkook to meet him at ____  asap !! - Jimin ♡. jungkook meets him in this cozy little decorated cafe lit softy by candles and fairy lights. theres a single table and chairs in the middle of the cafe and cutest smiling mochi standing in front of it. he says “merry christmas cutie”, and waves him over to come sit down at the table with him. their date then goes swimmingly, them talking and laughing and getting to know each other while digging into delicious food served fresh by the owner Seokjin. a close friend of jimins (and the only way that this whole “i reserved an entire cafe and decorated it accordingly for a date uwu” thing could’ve happened. all in all they have tons of fun, jungkooks walks jimin home, and before they part for the night, they exchange numbers with definite intentions to do this whole date thing again…mayb multiple times? ;D who knows.

okay now B: lovely, cutie and perfectionist pjm plans and prepares a whole wack of things bc damnit! hes gonna give this cute boy the DATE OF HIS LIFE!!!!!! but ah, unfortunately for our poor mochi, one bad thing leads to another bad thing and suddenly everything is conveniently going wrong the morning of their date night. jimbles is stressed as heck and feels terrible bc he had so much planned!! everything was gonna be perfect!! :(. he ends up meeting jungkook that night totally deflated bc now hes sure jungoo is gonna be disappointed that jimin was his secret santa. and (almost in tears) when he frantically tries to explain to jungkook everything that went wrong and all the fun stuff he had planned and how its all ruined and that hes the worst choice for secret santa that jk couldve gotten ever and-

jungkook, also wide eyed and frantic is like “no, no, no!! Hyung, please don’t cry! Its okay i swear!! just spending time with you is the best christmas present i could ever receive. please dont be sad.” :(  nd ofc, thats the sweetest heckin thing anyone has ever said to jimin ever, so hes not too upset for long. they end up opting for some ice skating tg (you know jjk was doing the absolute most on that ice to impress/make jimin laugh), and ice cream after! it was simple, fun, and adorable. they held hands almost the entire time they were out and when they were eating ice cream, jimin did the whole “you’ve got something on your face kook-ah. here, ill get it.” he swiped his thumb across a spot on jk’s bottom lip, licking his thumb clean and giggling as he watched jungkook turn red as a tomato and squeak out a thanks. they both had loads of fun on their cute lil christmas date, and just like the last senario, jk would walk jm home and before the went their separate ways they’d exchange numbers and the rest is history! :)

Bonus: jungkook didnt have shit on his face lmao, jimin is just one sly little man who enjoys watching jungkook get so adorably flustered.

TG AU - Tracks

Backstories for the Togther AU. First off; Tracks. 

Tracks is a cosmetologist who works in a salon (cleaning, polishing, repaints, decals, ect.) and he loves it. It’s his life. But the business he works for is expanding and he’s given two options: get promoted and take an office role since he’s been there awhile and knows what he’s doing or keep his position but move to another city where they’re setting up a new location. Since he loathes the idea of giving up his hands-on job, he moves. It’s not a big deal for him. 

But moving to another city means going through the Wasteland. There are transports that fly high up in the atmosphere (and out of the Autobot’s reach), but they’re expensive and only available for the upper class. Midclass down and materials get moved by hover transports that really can’t go any higher than maybe fifty feet. 

So he gets on a transport with his things and goes through the Wasteland. Guess what happens? They get raided by Autobots of course!

Now Tracks is understandably frightened and upset, considering the Autobots are rumored to be horrible and violent psychopaths. But the Bots just want the goods on the transport. They borrow *cough-kidnap-cough* Tracks for a bit because he happened to be there and the transport crew wouldn’t shoot at them if they had a hostage. 

The Bots quickly reassure him he isn’t in any danger and they’re not going to harm him. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. This isn’t the first time they’ve “borrowed” people but they always help them get where they’re going if they can for the inconvenience. 

Tracks doesn’t believe them for a second. 

They weren’t exactly friendly or sane looking when they attacked the caravan. Blasting loud rave music as a distraction while a second group on skate mods makes a grab for the controls doesn’t leave a good impression. But it’s not like Tracks has a choice here. 

So he gets taken back to their base blindfolded, because no one knows exactly where their base is.

And wow is it weird. I won’t go into what the base looks like because that should be it’s own thing, but let’s just say it’s crazy. And colorful. Which Tracks appreciates. 

He absolutely hates the popular fashion trends at the moment of silver and black. HATES THEM. To him, it’s lifeless. And a lazy way to make yourself look semi-good but overall tacky. Color though, color takes work and skill and is far more beautiful. So seeing these weird but colorful people is a really nice break from all the bland but popular fashions he’s been dealing with for awhile. Maybe a bit too much neon for his taste but it’s still better than flat silver. (Most of his world revolves around fashion, okay?)

So the Autobots aren’t as scary as he was told they were, he makes friends with Smokescreen, and he meets Optimus Prime. The one they call “The Mad Prime” and this supposedly insane mech looks at him as says, “You look stressed. Do you want a hug? I’ve been told I give good hugs.”

Tracks nearly laughs hysterically. He turns Optimus down at first, although the Prime did manage to get a hug out of him before they help get him and his things to the city he was moving too. (They kept the other loot. They weren’t taking personal items unless they really really needed them.)

Then Tracks is left at the edge of the city he’s moving too, unharmed/molested and with all his things. Smokescreen even gives him his comm number and says he should call if he’s ever in trouble or just wants to hang out sometime. 

Tracks doesn’t know what to do. So he goes to his new apartment and starts his job like everything is normal. But he can’t let go of the experience. The rumors and propaganda the newscasters are spreading around doesn’t line up with the people he saw. Yeah, they were a little hyperactive and some laughed like absolute maniacs, but they very obviously looked out for one another. What kind of terrorists and monsters treat each other like family?

And yeah, he misses their warpaint and fun colors. 

So he chats with Smokescreen sometimes while he goes about his normal life. And if he happens to see people around the city, ones in trouble or looking for a way out, he calls the Autobots and sends the mech to them. And if he hears something stirring or learns something useful, he tells the Bots. (People gossip so much in salons and the workers there trade rumors and information on a daily basis.)

Tracks isn’t technically an Autobot, but he is an unofficial informant and ally.

Qui ne connaît pas cette célèbre trilogie qu’est Retour vers le Futur ?

Pour les incultes, petit speech rapide des films, sans de spoilers évidemment !

En octobre 1985 Marty McFly, adolescent de 17 ans découvre l’existence d’une machine à voyager dans le temps, construite par le docteur Emmett Brown (La fameuse DeLorean). Marty prend la fuite à bord de cette machine après une fusillade, se retrouvant accidentellement projeté en novembre 1955. Il cherchera un moyen de regagner 1985 car sa présence dans une époque où il n’est pas encore né peut menacer sa propre existence …

Dans le deuxième opus, il se fera embarqué par Emmett Brown vers le XXIème siècle , à savoir en 2015, afin de sauver sa descendance. C’est le film dont je me base pour ce cosplay, avec une ville pensée avec une technologie omniprésente.

Le troisième opus se passera dans le Far West vers 1885, où Marty devra sauver son ami le Doc en retrouvant la DeLorean enfouit dans une grotte.

Le mieux est quand même de regarder la trilogie si cela n’est pas fait !

C’est dans ce contexte que cet article va vous présenter mon cosplay quasiment “placard” d’une tenue personnalisée s’inspirant de la mode de l’année 2015 vu par des personnes de l’année 1985. Et oui, ils n’avaient pas forcément la meilleure appréhension en ce qui concerne l’esthétisme futuriste …

Un cosplay placard ? Da’ Fuck, Kesako ?

Dans l’article pour le kigurumi de Wheighty, j’avais expliquer ce qu’est un cosplay, mais je n’avais pas spécifié qu’il y avait deux écoles.

La première concerne les puristes accrus de cette activité, qui conçoivent leur costume de A à Z en passant par toutes les lettres, et qui n’achète quasiment pas de pièces pour leur cosplay s’ils peuvent à moindre coût le faire eux-même. Et puis, c’est pour avoir la fierté de dire le moment venu : “Hé, t’as vu ? T’as vu ? Je l’ai fabriqué tout seul, comme un warrior !”

La deuxième école est celle qui va nous intéresser ici : ceux qui font leur cosplay en achetant les pièces de leur costume tout faites, voir le costume entier, ou qui assemble des vêtements de leur placard, avec plus ou moins des modifications apportée.

Pour ce cosplay, il s’agira donc de vous montrer où j’ai pu acheter ou me procurer les vêtements et tissus éventuels pour établir la tenue, les accessoires assortis (achetés ou fabriquer), ect … Etant toulousaine, je vous filerai les adresses pour trouver votre bonheur à Toulouse en l’occurence, mais si vous n’habitez pas dans la ville rose, n’hésitez pas à vous renseigner dans votre ville pour voir si il y a des magasins du même type que celui que je propose !

CONCEPTION DU COSPLAY :

INTRODUCTION : Concept Art

Avant toute chose, je vous présente le concept art de la tenue que j’envisage de porter. Elle sera “classique” dans le sens où je vais porter un T-Shirt avec un assortiment conclu sur un pantalon.

Cela dit, certains détails sont calculés de façon différentes par rapport au style vestimentaire classique que l’on peut avoir au XXIème siècle actuel.

Je vais notamment ajouter des accessoires inutiles mais indispensable au niveau du bonnet et du bras, ainsi qu’une mitaine à une seule main. Le pantalon sera composé en réalité de deux “pièces” : un short en jean, et un leggings ou pantalon de sport bien moulant, avec de préférence des zones plus aérées, accueillant un tissus avec des mailles vides (comme de la tulle). Enfin, un collant bien bleu électrique finira le dit pantalon. Pour finir, un skate m’accompagnera, customiser pour rappeler l’hoverboard de Marty McFly dans le film. Parce qu’acheter un hoverboard actuel, bah d’une c’est cher et de deux c’est pas LE vrai hoverboard du film ! Donc zut quoi !

Tell me this wouldn't make a fire AU, CONVINCE ME. Just an idea I had: figure skating but lanyde with competitive rivalry and tension - the dynamic works too well for this. (I'm imagining the plot going something along the line of blades of glory idk) ummm the art is a bit messy but it's kind of a sketch so it doesn't matter too much.
