My disappointment was immeasurable when i realized there was a canon humanformers TF:Animated episode, and the human designs were just this:

THIS WAS SUCH A MISSED OPPORTUNITY! THEY ARE SO BORING! So i took it upon myself to redraw it. 😌

I know Prowl wasn’t in this scene, but i wanted an excuse to draw him anyway. He’s silly and i love him.

I tried to push the scale a little bit too, because i imagine the team would be feeling pretty small in a medbay built for cybertronians. Imagine Ratchet is standing on something out of the shot.

Honestly one of my favourite moments in the show; top three at least! Only Blitzwing would be like “yo FUCK Megatron, I wanna see how hard these bitches can HIT ME!!!”

TFA Reference Model, first attempts

Trying to push myself a bit and learn how to draw mechs. Lot's of room for improvement but I'm happy with this experiment. Didn't tweak the design's too much beyond giving them more of their vehicle's features and adding some width to the toothpick waistlines some of their official art has.

I swear trying to figure out the "proper" height difference between everyone then trying to figure out how tall they would actually be took WAY too long and I still don't think i got it right. Like, Prowl doesn't feel like he should be shorter than Ratchet but he is???
