I love the contrast between Bludgeon who talks in a very romantic way about his "Glorious Destiny" and Soundwave who's going "Your killer drones kill people. Effective" in a deadpan tone.

Soundwave is on full manager mode and is not putting up with Bludgeon's theatrical antics.

tempted to make a short fic out of this it would be funny.

also it kills us that three out of ten of these have harmed Arcee in awful scientist capacities in some way (Animated Shockwave with his interrogation techniques that involved taking her head apart, IDW1 Jhiaxus by being a transmedicalist shit instead of listening to her when it came to her gender affirming journey, and Flatline forcing her spark to power two other bodies), and she in turn mostly trashed them (while she did trash Prime Shockwave at least once iirc she didn't get the chance to take down Animated Shockwave, but sure gave him a hard time), and a fourth hasn't but was her arch-rival (Airachnid) before acquiring the mad scientist archetype in other continuities. Considering that Prime Ser-Ket is concurrent with Prime Airachnid and Arcee was on Cybertron for a long time in that continuity one has to wonder if she would have run into and fought Ser-Ket and the Forged before coming to Earth.... ....gaaaaaah feels like seeing the time knife is contemplating the transformers multiverse just the time knife, haha XD

also before you choose Shockwave as the winner because of IDW1 time travel shenanigans we want to point out there's a funny causal loop wherein that Shockwave's ideology originates from (and largely copies) Jhiaxus, who is maybe the only person he's shown any true loyalty to in the events leading up to Dark Cybertron. the counterpoint of course is that in Jhiaxus's opinion, Shockwave surpassed him by then in the sciences and he was but Shockwave's minion, so given that Shockwave is the only person Jhiaxus has ever truly cared for without also blatantly betraying, he'd probably just let Shockwave shoot him.

Just watched the second half of Battle for Cybertron and I have thought... again

Also Hot Rod got Marcy'd, would be sad about his supposed death as if the next episode's thumbnail didn't spoil that he is okay though with a black coat of paint

Am I the only one who felt the lack of a soundtrack on a good chunk of these episodes?

Shocked that Strascream didn't return, thought he was gonna show up in the middle of the battle and be like "HEY BITCHES" and become the main threat; although that means he's still out there planning an even greater comeback than expected...

But not Windblade's battle with Bludgeon! She's such a queen.

And idk if it's me that was dumb and watched the whole thing in two halves even though it's supposed to be watched in it's entirety but am I the only one who felt some of the events of the second half were paced weird and felt a little bit... anticlimactic? Idk they (at least on first watch on an unintended form) felt weirdly paced and honestly some didn't hit much (like Drift's traitor reveal)

Edit to last point: Rewatched the episode in it's extended & intended form (as a special) and yeah it was definitely that. The moments hit much harder!

Canon information and trivia about Bludgmochi:

Bludgmochi may have a soft, pastel appearance, but he is a fearsome combatant. His fighting style is an elegant blend of fluid motion and brutal precision, inspired by traditional martial arts, which he wields with artistic flair. His appearance, adorned with pastel frozen mochis, contrasts his deadly skill in close combat.

As one of the Frosties, Bludgmochi serves as an enforcer, ensuring Scorponoshake’s vision is upheld. Though not loud or commanding like others, his quiet presence is a reminder of the discipline and focus required of their faction. His silent resolve makes him one of Scorponoshake’s most trusted warriors.

Bludgmochi’s voice is smooth and melodic, with a serene cadence that can be both calming and eerie. When addressing enemies, his voice takes on a chilling tone, emphasizing his frosty nature.

Despite having a voice and not being deaf, Bludgmochi is the only Sweetformer that knows how to communicate in sign language, which Cyclos'mores, Tarnstard and Scorponoshake are the only ones to understand him.

Among the Decepticorns outside the Frosties, Bludgmochi is both admired and feared. His unassuming appearance often lulls opponents into underestimating him, only for them to experience his overwhelming skill and chilling power firsthand.

Bludgmochi carries special Mochi Grenades that explode into sticky, frozen mochi globs on impact. These globs immobilize enemies and sap their energy while slowing their movements, creating opportunities for Frosties to gain the upper hand.

Outside of the Decepticorns, Bludgmochi has earned a reputation as a warrior of honor. Neutral factions are more willing to negotiate or parley with the Frosties when Bludgmochi is present, as they trust his sense of fairness.

Bludgmochi keeps a mental log of every significant battle he participates in, studying his opponents’ fighting styles and weaknesses. He’s known to replay these battles in his mind during meditation, treating each one as a lesson to refine his techniques further.

Bludgmochi draws inspiration from ancient traditions, incorporating elements of elegance and respect into his fighting style. This cultural influence further distinguishes him from other Decepticorns, who are often more focused on brute force.

Bludgmochi is sometimes seen play a traditional Shakuhachi flute and a Shamisen whenever he's alone. Both of the instruments take coloration as Bludgmochi and both are adorned with frozen mochis.

Bludgmochi follows a strict personal code of honor in combat. He avoids striking an opponent who is unarmed or unable to fight back unless absolutely necessary. This adherence to his principles sometimes puts him at odds with more ruthless Frosties like Tarnstard or Deathsachertorte.

He views Sakura trees absolutely stunning and beautiful when he first saw them on Earth. He wishes to one day have a garden of Sakura tress all to himself and grow them.

He has three hobbies that he likes to do: Origami, Kyudo (really great at it) and Calligraphy.

He understands Japanese perfectly but doesn't tell the other Frosties or Decepticorns about it.

I don't know if it's just because I don't like Scorponok in this, but I find Soundwave and Bludgeon to be a much more interesting threat. I think it's 'cause they've been building up since the beginning of the series.
