I’m on the autistic spectrum, I actually just found out a few months ago. I appear neurotypical most of the time because I’m quite excellent at masking but please keep the following in mind:

A lot of normal day-to-day actions have different costs for me and there are a lot of ‘rules’ I need to follow which can be idiosyncratic but it’s the way I work 🤷🏽‍♀️For example, I can’t do something without finishing the other thing first even if the first thing only takes 5 minutes and the other thing takes 5 days.

I have a lot of difficulty maintaining conversations with people no matter how much I want to ☹️ It takes a lot out of me. I really, really want to talk all the time with you guys but I just don’t have the battery for it. So I hope you’ll be patient and understanding if I take my time replying, I promise you the ghosting is a necessity for my health. I wouldn’t hurt you intentionally.

I’m not good with people and sometimes I can be painfully oblivious to some things so you’ll have to spell it out like I’m five👽

So for my 100 days of productivity I'm attempting to do here is what i did for day 1!

I use a Christian meditation app called abide, i do the 2 minute free sessions (but you can pay for longer ones if you want) and colored in my harry potter coloring book. This just calms me, helps me stay focused.

I mute some of the people on Instagram from noon until i fall asleep or at midnight, whichever happens first, because i am the type of person who hates having notifications and unanswered texts and I tend to drop everything to answer them so this helps me stay focused on what i should be doing today. The people who might text me about something important don't get muted but if it's most likely just a meme or a friendly conversation it can wait until i have time to check insta.

I drank all the water i needed to today! About 3 32 oz cups worth.

When i get anxious(which is a lot) I pray to try and get rid of those worries. It doesn't always work but I kept trying it today.

Journaling my feelings also helps me with my anxiety so I did that for about 20 minutes today. Writing out my thoughts helps me understand them and have better control of it.

I ate a nice breakfast and took the meds i was supposed to take today. I hate taking pills and eating is something i struggle with but i did both today and it is a good thing for my health.

Because my city is essentially in lockdown at the beginning of this stay at home order when my school closed (late march) I was forgetting to do things like brush my teeth and floss because my routine is different now. Today i got dressed(kinda, still in the pants i slept in but with a clean shirt) and brushed my teeth, flossed, put on some perfume and painted my nails. My "makeup" was just mostiziuzer, sunscreen, and chapstick but it made me feel good.

Then i cleaned out all 3 of my emails, answering most school and college related ones, as well as some scholarship ones. Then I checked on the different online sites my teachers are using to make sure I didn't miss anything. I did the first workout my coach posted, just some pushups and the like.

The dishes got done, I watered and turned my plant around. I have a potato I am growing on my bathroom window and so he grows towards the window for the light. I turn him around so he grows the other way and can grow taller in the process because he won't run into the window and get stuck.

I met my goal on duolingo for my Spanish practice, 50 exp points. I'm trying to post more content on social media in general because usually the only thing stopping me is anxiety over how it will be recieved and comparing myself to other's likes and followers (my exs tictoks are a favorite target for these thoughts) today i only posted here, on my other fandom oriented tumblr, and my Instagram story. But for me posting on my insta story is rare, i shared a textpost i thought my friends would like and i still haven't checked who's seen it!

I've read 3 pages of my bible today. I think it's pretty obvious I'm trying to get closer to God and it's not easy but I'm proud of myself for (so far throughout my whole life) reading the whole bible from genesis through ephesians(i hope i spelled those right). Reading the bible usually just confuses me and kinda upsets me but it's something my dad and I do together and it makes him happy. That's the main thing really.

Taking a shower was hard today, i sometimes have trouble standing and walking, and after my workout my legs did Not wanna function so i ended up washing my hair from the shower floor but I still did it!

It's about 9pm now so I'm gonna eat dinner, try to practice my drawing, maybe write and read for fun a little more. I'm currently rereading a favorite fanfic so i might get a few more chapters through that. Log out of this tumblr and get back on my fandom one for a while. Bake some cookies with my mom and try to go to sleep at a reasonable time.

so the other day me and my dad were trying to play with my dog who just got a new toy for Christmas. My dog, however, is fairly middle-aged. so me and daddy were kicking around this purple fuzzy ball monster and my dog decided we were in the kitchen so he gets a treat. we were preocupied with the ball at the time and one of us kicked it underneath him so he literally picked it up in his mouth walked out of the kitchen, droped it and immediately came back in like "pay attention to me" and idk man i think i just got told by a dog.
