okay yeah im only 25 and i grew up with so much more queer representation than people even just 5-10 years older than me but GOD what i wouldnt have given to have people like chappell roan or heartstopper and its cast to look up to back then! imagining my 12 year old self watching that show... i would have cried my little heart out tbh idc if its a bit saccharine sometimes. and i can't even imagine what chappell roan would've done to me. im so happy young queers have these things but god imagine

I think it’s very funny when people champion Quinn as a girlboss feminist cause like I thought the whole point of that aspect of her character was intentionally showing how she’s very much the white performative kind. Y’know, the kind that simultaneously still holds men up/relies on them for validation? That’s not to dog on her, not in the slightest, I think it just makes her character BETTER and more interesting. I’ve just noticed lots of people like to flatten all a lot of these characters despite the fact that they were explicitly created to SUBVERT those two dimensional archetypes.

Random things I project onto glee characters:

- Tina loves cozy games of all types and has a PC she basically only uses for The Sims.

- Mercedes has a whole wardrobe for her fauxhuahua.

- Santana runs her nails idly down the backs of people she cuddles with and digs them into her skin when she’s anxious or angry.

- Sam is afraid of birds.

- When Puck sees a cool rock he always picks it up. Sometimes he’ll give it someone.

- Quinn gets migraines and she loves cloudy/rainy weather cause it’s easier on her eyes.

- Artie was excited when he first got glasses cause he thought they made him look cool and smart.

- Rachel is gay. (If you want a serious one ummm she had a Disney hyper fixation when she was younger.)
