Have I rambled about my personal headcanons for the broken Morrowind alchemy system, and the empire outlawing levitation?? ‘cause I don’t think I have?
So..I actually really like the exploits you can use to abuse Morrrowind’s alchemy system. So much so that I made it canon that one of my characters figured out how to create ridiculously strong and long lasting potion effects. She effectively just made them super concentrated, and then turned it into a topical salve that can be applied to the skin.
This is great for things like stamina and healing, but I really like the implications when feather or levitation is involved. Mass produced and made accessible, those two potions would allow almost anyone in Morrowind to lift notably heavy objects (because feather changes carrying capacity) and allow for easy travel as well. As long as the feather has a longer duration than the levitation there’s no real safety hazard in terms of falling either. Add telekinesis potions into the mix and you really have some power there.
Originally I had levitation, telekinesis, and feather combined for the purposes of acting as my character’s disability aid since those could make much of Morrowind more accessible to an individual who would otherwise be using a wheelchair that she doesn’t have the strength to move. But it crossed my mind that if something like that existed in Morrowind within Vivec’s grasp it would no doubt be used for military purposes as well. Especially if this was something created by a member of the temple. So Morrowind starts training its soldiers to levitate while withholding access to those potions from the empire. Which would make the empire nervous, especially knowing that plenty of the people of Morrowind don’t exactly welcome the Empire’s presence in the province.
So what would the empire do? Well one thing it could do is outlaw levitation and make it a punishable offense. No leeway whatsoever. And to make sure the people living in Cyrodiil go along peacefully with it, the government says it’s for public safety as levitation has been the cause of death for many mages over the years. Now Morrowind has been nearly put back in the position that it was in with no real way to push back against imperial control. Honestly I feel like the empire would use outlawing levitation as a reason to push some kind of monitoring of goods or something in Morrowind. More than they already do anyway. A round about way to get those other potions to circulate in the empire or to cut them out completely.
Idk if this is well thought out or anything… but …I at least like this reason better than just ‘Bethesda didn’t want to go through the trouble of allowing the player to levitate in TES IV, so they said the empire outlawed it’.
It’s also infuriating to be punished for if it’s levitation being used out of necessity, and is exactly how my HoK ends up in the imperial city’s prison at the start of Oblivion. She hates the empire and this made her hate them more. Which if nothing else makes for an interesting play through.
Anyway.. im done rambling now ..thanks for reading :)))

Finally finished my redesign of my HoK, Mazourkh!
Design and lore rambling under the cut :3
Her last design really didn't speak to me, so I had to spice her up. I wanted to make her more obviously half Altmer, which I'm not entirely sure I accomplished, but I do like this skin and hair color combo better. I also wanted to make her fatter! Because fat characters aren't often shown in fantasy media, and definitely not as the protagonist or physically-active hero. Plus she's cute!!
This is my first real attempt at designing a fat character, and I still have a lot to learn with drawing fat characters. I'm really proud of how she looks though!
Some lore, while I'm here:
Mazourkh is the bastard daughter of an Altmer nobleman, the result of his tryst with one of the Imperial Army blacksmiths that resided in Firsthold. She was born there in Firsthold, but as her father wanted nothing to do with her, her mother (Yagarz) moved the two of them to Leyawiin. Yagarz scraped by a living there, working as the smith for the Fighter's Guild. Mazourkh helped her mother at the forge and with finances as a teenager and young adult.
By 3E 433, the gra-Yamworts' business was expanding. The proprietor of Slash N' Smash in the Imperial City was looking to expand beyond blunt weapons, and had his eye on Yagarz's armor. Mazourkh was tasked with bringing samples to him to discuss supplying him. The meeting was a success, and gra-Yamwort armor would be sold there!
After this meeting, she stopped by Red Diamond Jewelry to browse. Following a massive misunderstanding in which Mazourkh thought Hamlof said she could have the pendant she was looking at for free (he'd only said she could try it on), the guards were called and she was promptly arrested.
That very night, the luckiest (or, perhaps, unluckiest) thing happened. A cult was attempting to assassinate the Emperor, and Mazourkh's cell happened to contain a secret passage out of the city. Oddly enough, the Emperor recognized her from his dreams, and allowed her to escape with him--and when he died, just hours later, he entrusted her with a powerful artifact and an important mission: take the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre, and find the last Septim heir.
------
Anyway, enough rambling from me for now!! Last thing I'll drop here is just this glowup!! I am so obsessed with her, you have no idea

Meet Cassia and Asgeld. Whom I have already posted here, but it was years ago, so here, meet them again.
They have the same mother, but different fathers as Linna remarried after Quentius went missing during the Great War. Good relationship in childhood and very complicated afterwards, as you can guess.

Sujamma Sundas
I was tagged by @pinessydr , thank you!!
@arnaerr poking you for tes oc facts but feel free to ignore
I want to talk about our with @buriedknight hero of Kvatch. cw gore mentioned
Please check out amazing pieces with her by buriedknight: one and two
- she is a vampire but she is disgusted by the thought of munching on someone’s neck, so she usually pours blood from corpses into flask or other vessel to drink properly
- she is very afraid of Mehrunes Dagon’s wraith because of game’s events so tried to win his favour, then gave up and decided to win over Molag Bal but got ghosted
- misses crisis of oblivion because inside the gates there is no sun and there are a lot of unguarded by law daedra to munch upon
- looks like the type any cyrodiil citizen can encounter on the side of an unguarded road: unpleasant trout which can kill over money. This did not get her any good points in hero and champion job applications (actually failed with champion one because of this)
- is a very good actor but almost never uses her skill (she is not playing murderous trout, it’s her natural look)
- Martin is something like adopted son for her, she is something like pet dog for him
- does not feel anything about the act of murder / violence itself but enjoys seeing herself performing well at fighting and killing
- is very sad about death of Uriel Septim because she thought she had a chance of becoming his mistress

Heyyy~
I love drawing the flora and fauna from TES games, I absolutely love it. If anyone has any requests on that front feel free to throw an ask at me. This extends to plants, animals, fungi, and alchemy ingredients from any of the scrolls games. I just think they’re neat! :))
ALSO!! I post about my elder scrolls OCs sometimes (there’s info on them under the cut if you’re interested.)
[Making this so it’s not only a TES blog anymore, so you might see me post about other things]
(Last updated: 12/18/2024)
The Heros
(Skyrim) Viir/Viiraulor:
Viirautarelor is my LBD and also a Thu’um using alteration/illusion bard. That is to say xe likes to pretend to be people other than hirself for hir own amusement, and for the amusement of others. If you see several different designs for hir this is why. Xe is armed only with hir illusory wit and a kitchen knife. (Hir name should translate loosely to ‘dying trickster’. I ran with the Shezarrine idea, but this time it’s literally just mortal Lorkhan. ish)
(Oblivion) Archcanon Ice Wraith:
My HoK, Wraith, is a spear-wielding, bug-loving, ALMSIVI-enthused, alchemy nerd that makes friends with as many people as possible, and has fallen head over heels in love with assumptions and metaphors. She WAS the Nerevarine once, but didn’t want to be. In an attempt to mimic Vivec, she ended up using Kagrenac’s tools on the heart of Lorkhan to create her own unreal reality. One in which she is never the Nerevarine. This is the reality that all of my other characters live in. She calls it c0da Web. (When written, ‘web’ is the daedric character for ‘w’. Yes… it is a spider pun. This is Wraith so of course it is. Caught in a web of lies… im sorry). Ice Wraith is kind of obsessed with Vivec, and it is kind of a problem.
(Morrowind) J’uhna:
Wraith gave my Nerevarine, J’uhna, his name. In full the name is a mix of Dovahzul, Dunmeri, and a pinch of Ta’agra. It is JUN LUN/LUHN AH VAR, which means both ‘The Life-Light and Moon’ and ‘The Hunter of Leech-Kings’ Lives’. J’uhna is a frustrated, greedy, self-obsessed person who is crafty and annoyingly adept with words. If he likes someone he needs them to be unquestionably loyal, and if he hates someone he needs them to fear him. J’uhna has memories of all of the failed incarnates. He remembers being Peakstar, Conoon Chodala, Erur-Dan, Xayah, etc. Of course he also remembers being Nerevar. He’s coping with this, but not very well (he’s not entirely convinced that his memories and traumas from his past lives are real).
(Daggerfall) Plink
(ESO) Cirainile/Flowers:
This is my Vestige, an absurdly tall restoration mage who means well, but boasts some of Summerset’s more standoffish body language. He is an altmer born of a noble clan in Alinor which claims (without proof) that its lineage begins with Trinimac. He’s very interested in fabric making, and has a pet rat he calls Rice. His friends call him Nile, or Flowers, for short. (I pronounce his name sorta like ‘see-rye-kneel-uh’. Don’t really know how to write pronunciation out so that’s the best I got sorry :) )
(Battlespire) Daggi:
A powerful dremora from the badlands who makes eternal Mehrunes Dagon’s sphere by spending all of his immortality rebelling against it. Whoever holds the power is Daggi’s enemy. Because of how he is integrated into Dagon’s sphere, Daggi will always rebel against power, yet never stand at the top. If he ever wins his battles he’s quick to lose any power he gained. Not by accident but as an intrinsic part of his daedric nature. Unless his nymic changes for some reason he is permanently doomed to this fate. Not that he sees himself as doomed. He understands his place in Dagon’s sphere yet also believes his rebellions are his alone, and not due to some power outside of his control. His biggest faults are his unchangeable mindset, and his tendency towards perfect honesty. I have him here as my Battlespire character, but he also shows up during the Oblivion crisis to help the HoK and Martin rebel against his ‘father’.
The Side Bitches
(Skyrim) Ilabael Muhr:
A sweetheart and a plant nerd. Also my LBD’s ex-wife. Ilabael is the child of an exiled ashlander of Erabenimsun, and a kwama miner. She’s from Jora’ruhn—a city built by the Warrior-Poet’s last archcanon on top of the ruins of Vivec.
(Skyrim) Cahnu’ul:
Totally not a reincarnation of Vivec ;). In Skyrim he’s My LBD’s friend. He’s got no idea that he is who he is and if you accused him he’d refuse it. He grew up in Dawnstar, thinks the gods are incapable, and carries Wraith’s axe named Heaven-by-Violence. (Side note: Cahnu’ul exists in every conceivable timeline as a consequence of Wraith’s actions. If you’re curious about the ‘whys’ and the ‘hows’ of the mess that is this oc, feel free to ask. To put things bluntly though, Cahn Hahnu Sul Ul is my oc’s oc.)
(Skyrim) Peynach:
A winged Ayleid whose family lives in Skyrim’s southwestern mountains. My LBD’s friend.
(Morrowind) Morvana-Dar & Yana-La:
Two Khajiiti siblings who are both a part of the Camonna Tong during the events of Morrowind. My Nerevarine’s friends.
(Daggerfall) Snakes-Faces/Thuxisei:
Snakes or Thuxi for short. She’s Plink’s ‘friend’….. with benefits.
(ESO) Ondoth:
A leather working enthusiast and my Vestige’s husband.
(ESO) Zhaari-Sa:
A senche-raht that works odd jobs, and my Vestige’s friend.
Kaj-Mota:
Kaj exists … I love him.. I have no idea when he exists in the timeline tho. He’s pretty so there that. Idk. Big ol floofy man who likes to hunt.
Suna’raleyr & Aniayifir:
Siblings… both merchants and craftsmen. They live in the shivering isles. Ania says they live there for good reasons.. something about it being great for the imagination. They can occasionally be found on nirn, and are the ones who built my Dragonborn’s enchanted lute.
The ‘Wraith Fucked Up Her Old Timeline’ Characters:
Fahlthahrk:
I mean… at least someone is angry about that bullshit that Ice Wraith left behind. Fahl is a dwemer who, due to some fucked up time warping dragon break shenanigans, has been recently moved from an earlier era to this one.
Xayah:
A Khajiiti incarnation of Nerevar’s incarnations. Fahlthahrk’s ally. Azura slammed all the failed incarnates—memories traumas and all—together into a single person… but … Nerevar himself isn’t there... Elvil Vidron is though. In other words… this is not quite the nerevarine. Not yet anyway.
Niryai:
Niryai is not her real name. It’s just what she calls herself. This makes her sound conceited.. she thinks this is funny. She resides within the bounds of Ghost Gate and claims the territory around red mountain isn’t Dagoth’s, but hers. She’s also in possession of two of Kagrenac’s tools, the moon-and-star ring, and is actively holding Nerevar’s soul hostage. The not-quite-nerevarine, Xayah, has to go figure out how to get that stuff back from her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRYS !! wishing you lots of good things. i wanna know more about Just Some Normal Guy Asgeld
Thank you so much ;u; I hope good things will come to you soon enough as well!
As for Totally Normal Guy Asgeld, first of all, let me show you the guy in question (and his half-sister with her pet goo demon, but that's beyond the point)
Now this already might give you some insight into Asgeld's character, but some more fun (or not) trivia!
He takes a lot after his father, Orm, except for the eyes, which he got from Linna.
Asgeld is almost two meters tall and definitely feels more than this, given his muscles and posture.
Makes wicked horker stew, a recipe for which he has learned while serving with Stormcloaks in Windhelm.
His resignation from Stormcloaks was filed by punching his higher up in the face, after the latter insulted Asgeld's mother.
Some of his careers were: mildly attractive lumberjack, barkeep, farmer and eventually a forester/huntsman of sorts.
In their childhood Cassia made him a little wooden amulet, that Asgeld was wearing every day since then. When they had a falling out after the Incident (Cassia was found to be working for the (actually very) Evil Thalmor Elves (tm) and used Asgeld to steal important Stormcloak intel) Asgeld proceeded to burn the amulet.
At some point in life he ended up adopting a cat, who he named Hela, after a servant of the goddess, Kyne, to whom Asgeld became devoted. Hela the Cat preferred method of transportation is inside the hood of Asgeld's cloak.

The mighty need to regale everyone here with extensive and pointless details about my depressed apathetic Imperial, her emotional support deadra and her snooty altmer boss, whom I have stolen from canon, because he is a fantastic dumbass.
Sound off in comments or asks or whatever if you would love to take one for team and lend me your ear. I am absolutely normal and you surely can approach the enclosure and stick your fingers between bars.

So, this is my birthday and if anyone wants to make me a lil birthday gift, I would be most excited to answer any asks about my TES OCs!
List of them goes down below, have fun, I will also probably reblog a few ask games in a moment.
Elder Scrolls Online
- Lanaraume (Deer) - Altmer Dragonknight, Vestige. Big buff lady whose hobby is sticking her nose into every single life-threatening situation possible.
- Chemkhi-La and Chezarjo-Ma - Khajiit siblings from the family of traveling performers.
- Gives-Many-Hugs - the kindest and sweetest Argonian you can find in the Tamriel. Pacifist, healer, everyone's second best pen pal.
- Llaveyne Telvanni - Dunmer mushroom witch, old as dirt, staunchly against slavery, will rather eat glass then recognize Tribunal as anything else then annoying upstarts.
- Galla Illvia - Imperial Dragonknight and the moody teenager of the bunch.
- Philippe Roussel (and his of yet unnamed wife) - Breton-rised Orc working as an accountant and personal assistant to a passionate historian.
- Autaracu Alata - Meridian Purified Ayleid artist-turned-sorceress from the Galras Malatar. CEO of King Narilmor's secret fan club.
Oblivion + Morrowind
- Sheba - not the Hero Kvatch deserves or needs, but the one it will get. Altmer Mage with a penchant for unorthodox solutions to nonexistent problems. Anti-Talos before it was hip.
- Yeoba - Sheba's sister who might or might not have been Nerevarine. Ended up in prison because stealing everything not bolted down is generally frowned upon in society.
Skyrim
- Elanor - Altmer-shaped artificial vessel for the dragon soul, part-time natural disaster, full-time eldritch annoyance, officially employed as the Emissary in the Skyrim branch of Thalmor.
- Asgeld - ex-Stormcloak and genuinely a pretty good guy! Just a normal dude doing normal things and living through the drama caused by everyone around.
- Cassia Illvia (and Wraith) - Asgeld's half-sister (and her daedra), in the employment of Captain Valmir as his ambiguously evil henchman and loyal scribe.
- Unnamed Greybeard Acolyte - yet another generally good person, whose life was more or less indirectly ruined by Elanor existing. Very strongly opposed to her being trained and over the events of Dragon Crysis stood in opposition to the rise of the person, whom he saw only as the new Alduin. And was quite right.

1 and 2 for the fandom asks
Asks to Spread Love - HERE, Accepting more! Thank you for an ask
1. A fanon characterisation that you love
Now, I love how TES fandom will find the most obscure background NPC, proceed to run an Interpol worthy investigation into any crumbs of lore, extrapolate the rest and bam, you have a fully realized novel-worthy persona.
This is really fascinating to me and I tip my hat in respect.
This however also makes it hard for me to really judge fanon characterisations from something that people legitimately take from canon, because I am, for all intends and purposes, is media illiterate.
However I think there are some interesting takes on Elisif, a lot of people go pretty in depth with Ulfric and I can respect that. ISQ wrote an entire thesis on Ralof and Hadvar and I tip my hat twice. Not to mention all the different Miraaks.
2. Tell us why you love one of your OCs or an obscure canon character (link to any fics/art you have featuring them!)
I adore, and I repeat - adore, Captain Valmir. What a lad, really.
Just. To came up with a plan so blunt and convoluted at the same time. To commit to the cosplay on this level and to fail so gloriously. I love this mer. Stole him for my story with him, Cassia and a friendly daedra Wraith. Have no regrets.
As for my OCs, well, out of TES ones I would love to talk about Autaracu Alata, because, funnily enough...
From a certain point of view, her artistic talents after getting Purified by Meridia is as prefect and purged of imperfections as everything else. Ability to perfectly recreate anything she wants in paints, just ever so slightly off somehow and always rather lifeless. Which was created without any links to it, but I guess Meridia kind of made one perfectly fine ayleid into one of those picture AIs?
Also unrelated to TES, but since I was thinking about him a lot lately, my WH40k guardsman Sanya. Yes, this is author bias and plot armor, but I love to make a silly little guy with a big heart and toss him to go and unfuck a completely fucked over galaxy one vagabond at a time. He is a special silly little guy succeeding against all odds and common sense.
