this image looks like its for ants LOL but anyways I redesigned & refined all my Terrasapiens recently so here they are together! was originally gonna color them all but didn’t like it that much so just the first 3 (and Krunk) are colored in. Characters are, in order: Krunk, Snazzy, Leeke, Lyssa, Amirah, Zeno, and Tawnaverse Snazzy! Here’s some additional info about all of them:

-Krunk: (yeah I redesigned my redesign LOL) in my personal design, his stripes are natural instead of painted on, and they’re all over his body pretty much, except his tail, lower back, and forearms. I changed his hair back to being sharper bc I thought the puffy hair made him too cutesy-looking. He’s carrying those logs because his job on Terra is building things! Though being Velo’s champion makes it way harder for him to do his job back home...

-Snazzy: He is pretty much exactly the same as he was before, but I guess his edges are a little pointier now? He’s holding a basket of fruit because he’s a forager. If you’re worried about him being sick, don’t be! It’s not contagious at all, so he’s not going to contaminate anything he finds. Snazzy’s illness appears to be an incurable genetic condition, at least from what the medics in his tribe tell him.

-Leeke: I changed her mask design & corrected her legs. Her mask's symbolism has also been altered, as it’s no longer representative of a harvest god, but rather, the Terranean god of change and good fortune. I felt it’d be more fitting for her since she’s a miner and, as such, wouldn’t really need the harvest mask in the first place, let alone feel compelled to wear it even in adulthood. 

-Lyssa: She has a weapon now! It’s a spear made of bone from some kind of... monstrous leviathan creature... because she lives on an island after all! I also altered her leaves to be longer and more angular. 

-Amirah: I completely altered her outfit because I was dissatisfied with the original one I gave her. Also this serves as something of a markings guide for her. I kind of toyed with the idea of making her hands all red because it kind of looks like blood. Ultimately I switched it to be just her fingers that are red, because the whole blood thing didn’t really suit her. Maybe that’s an idea for a different character who doesn’t exist yet...

-Zeno: Completely overhauled him as well to give him a better silhouette. You wouldn’t be able to tell this from his first appearance on this blog, but he is actually missing his right hand, it was lost in battle. I’m considering possibly making him blind or nearsighted, explaining his cloudy eyes. Not sure if I’ll pursue it, tbh.

-Tawnaverse Snazzy: An alternate version of Snazzy. He is one of Empress Velo’s champions, and completely healthy! And yet, he’s much more of a jerk than his main dimension counterpart could ever be. This Snazzy is conceited and egotistical, and doesn’t even attempt to do things to help his fellow Terrasapiens after being promoted to Velo’s champion status. Hell, he’s hardly on Terra at all. Distant and self-centered, he much prefers to stay in Velo’s citadel and listen to all the praise and admiration of his many fans...

New man new man!!!!!!!!!

He’s not necessarily new, he’s been a character of mine since 2014, and now he has been revamped and repurposed for HFTS as an antagonist!

His name is Ash Wingrave, he is a Terrasapien. (Terrasapien: humanoid beings with features of animals who are biologically incapable of aviation) He works for a rival lab of HFTS, but he sneaks into the HFTS lab to spy on and steal data for his lab. He’s a common red fox, a walking reference to the Fantastic Mr. Fox movie, and he steals shit by flirting with people.

Ash has an alter motive. Foxes are known for sneaking into hen houses and farms that grow avian livestock such as chickens, turkeys, and squab/pigeons. HFTS has quite a lot of avian workers, so Ash’s alter motive is to eat one of the avian workers.

His story in the HFTS comic and servers have yet to begin.

The winner of the Terra Championship is Krunk!

His victory is what led him to being Velo’s first champion, and it was so unexpected! I like to think he raced against Oxide on Terra, and won, much to Oxide’s embarrassment.

Ft Leeke, Lyssa, Snazzy, and an alternate design for Krunk! I felt like he deserved one.

Planet Terra (from Crash Bandicoot) alien species guide?

A whole sheet of Terra-Sapiens! I wrote most of the important info on the actual picture, but I do have a few more details about them that I couldn’t fit onto the canvas.

Krunk and Snazzy’s tribe is rooted in the same location as the track, Tiny Temple. Leeke’s is closer to Jungle Boogie, though it’s not directly located there. Leeke lives close enough to the others to know who they are, and sees Snazzy on an almost daily basis (they’re friends, after all), but doesn’t tend to hang around in the open, or venture close to the temple itself. It should be noted that even though there are populations on Inferno Island, Terra-Sapiens are  not known for swimming.

Most Terra Sapiens, despite living a mostly grounded lifestyle, are very adept at climbing trees. Like many primates on earth, they are able to grip branches with their tails and their feet, not just their hands.  

Some Terra-Sapiens are capable of learning to use magic, much like Leeke. It’s a bit of an art form, but it’s not for everyone. Leeke obviously knows how to use it, but Krunk and Snazzy do not. 

Being heavier-set is seen as attractive in Terra-Sapien society, as it indicates an abundance of resources, and good health. Not to mention, strength!

Your interpretation of a lore on Planet Terra from Crash Bandicoot? I want to understand the origins and such. 🌸

Okay, okay, okay, so, I have a LOT of headcanons about Terra and I’ll get to all of them eventually, but for now I’ll focus on the basics!

Terra is a planet in the same solar system as Velo’s World and Gasmoxia. It has four moons, and is generally the same size as Earth, albeit somewhat more spherical. Its gravitational pull and atmosphere are roughly the same as Earth, and the planet is about a hundred million years younger than Earth. 

The denizens of Terra are called Terra-Sapiens, and from a civilization standpoint, have only recently come out of the stone age. They are polytheistic, believing in multiple gods, which are represented by masks and sculptures present on Terra. They tend to come in tribes of 30 or more, though there are known to be loners, or groups of up to 60 of them at once, to provide a few extreme examples. They tend not to be territorial or aggressive towards each other, but they can potentially attack if presented with an unfamiliar threat (IE: Earthlings). Blue is the most common fur color for them, though they can also be purple or green.

Krunk’s place as the racing champion of Terra is particularly odd, as most tribes of Terra-Sapiens do not, in fact, have the proper technology for kart racing. In fact, I’m sure the only reason some tribes can race is because Oxide challenged the planet some time ago to a championship race, and gave the Terra-Sapiens custom karts “to even the playing field”. In fact, it was because Oxide’s guard was lowered that Krunk became Terra’s champion, earning him favor with Velo and placement in the tournament. 

Lastly, going back to the topic of gods:

Tiny is currently recognized as the Terranean god of Strength, as he bears resemblance to past depictions of the god in Terranean artwork. The main difference would be in coloration, as the original god was typically depicted as being light purple, rather than orange. Krunk, being suspicious of Tiny from the start, didn’t recognize him as his god to begin with because he knew he was from Earth. As far as the rest of the Terra-Sapiens from the end of CNK knew, though, Tiny belonged on Terra with them. So Krunk doesn’t fully trust Tiny because he met him during the championship, but the rest of the Terra-Sapiens do, to an almost absurd extent.

Planet Terra (from Crash) has society and culture?

Yes! Like I said in other posts, they live in tribes led by one chief. Here are the chiefs of Krunk’s tribe and Leeke’s tribe respectively:

Krunk’s chief is named Amirah, and Leeke’s chief is named Zeno! Both are magic users, and are widely recognized as the strongest in their respective tribes. Unlike Krunk, neither of them know how to race, and Amirah herself is rather irritated with all the attention he’s been getting because of his career. Amirah is very charismatic and energetic, and has a very strong sense of justice. Zeno is intimidating, scary, and intense, and very hard to read, but very strategic.

When the time comes for a chief to resign, they hold a ceremony where they speak to the gods to choose a new one. Speaking of which, they do have a multitude of gods depicted in sculpture and on masks, not just the strength god I mentioned in the Tiny post. They have a god of peace (which is the most common protective mask for children to wear), a god of harvest (leeke’s mask), and a god of nature (which bears a striking resemblance to Komodo Joe… hmm…). 

In a tribe, each member is assigned their own job, and it’s very hard to switch out. As a child, a Terra-Sapien will be able to become an apprentice to an older member that’s already settled on what job they must do. Unlike adults, who are essentially locked into a profession, kids are allowed to explore all job areas to assure they’ll make the right choice. Notable jobs would be: architect/builder, miner, hunter, forager/harvester, chef, weaver/clothing maker, blacksmith, writer/scroll keeper, explorer/scout, caretaker, and chief’s adviser, among others. Snazzy is a forager, and Leeke is a miner. Krunk technically has two jobs, being a racer for Velo, and a builder for Amirah. He tries to balance them as best as he can, but Amirah understands his situation and has allowed him to work less often on building. 

Terra-Sapiens do not have a solid form of currency, but they do trade goods. It’s through trading that the individual tribes interact with each other, though it should be noted that chiefs tend not to partake in these trades. In fact, the only reason a chief would need to talk to another would be in the case of a pressing issue or a crisis. Perhaps, maybe, an alien invasion? (cough cough, Oxide, cough cough)

I know I have a ton of Terranean OCs, but I saw this girl in a dream and had to draw her! Her name is Lyssa, and she’s from Inferno Island! She’s a hunter, and one of the best of her tribe. She is relentless and highly aggressive, and can be a little cold sometimes, though she can also be highly protective over anyone she may have an emotional connection to. Her large, bushy mane is a result of a condition that causes her fur to grow in twice as fast as a normal Terra-Sapien’s fur.

From what I saw in my dream, most of the inhabitants of Inferno Island’s tribe were bright pink, unlike the bright blue most common in other Terra-Sapiens. Other than that, they were basically the same as their mainland relatives. In fact, that was the main theme of the dream I had, that the people of Tiny Temple and Inferno Island were fighting, even though, deep down, they were just like each other. 

I like to think that, even though she and Krunk only knew each other for a short time, and that short time was a tribal fight, she’s on very good terms with him, and would even consider him a friend. The two are on two separate landmasses, but Lyssa is sure that if she ever ventures into the mainland, she’s going to pay him a visit.

Also, say hi to (the brief appearance of) the Elehog! A species of boar-like alien that is present all over Terra. It’s more prevalent than the Terra-Sapiens themselves, even!

It’s just now occurred to me that I haven’t posted my Tawnaverse champions, other than Snazzy in the MS Paint Terrasapiens post. So... here’s another one! The Tawnaverse version of Wesley! You can call him Wes. Unlike Wesley, Wes doesn’t feel the need to hide his doppelganger (and tbh if he did, he’d have quite a hard time reigning him in enough to do so... he’s pretty unruly & wild), though he’s hardly able to control him either. He’s decidedly more edgy than Wesley, but for different reasons. I think if there was a Tawnaverse version of CNK (presumably with Tawna as the designated racer), Wes (and his doppelganger, Samson) would likely be boss 2.
