Planet Terra (from Crash) has society and culture?
Yes! Like I said in other posts, they live in tribes led by one chief. Here are the chiefs of Krunk’s tribe and Leeke’s tribe respectively:
Tumblr media
Krunk’s chief is named Amirah, and Leeke’s chief is named Zeno! Both are magic users, and are widely recognized as the strongest in their respective tribes. Unlike Krunk, neither of them know how to race, and Amirah herself is rather irritated with all the attention he’s been getting because of his career. Amirah is very charismatic and energetic, and has a very strong sense of justice. Zeno is intimidating, scary, and intense, and very hard to read, but very strategic.
When the time comes for a chief to resign, they hold a ceremony where they speak to the gods to choose a new one. Speaking of which, they do have a multitude of gods depicted in sculpture and on masks, not just the strength god I mentioned in the Tiny post. They have a god of peace (which is the most common protective mask for children to wear), a god of harvest (leeke’s mask), and a god of nature (which bears a striking resemblance to Komodo Joe… hmm…).
In a tribe, each member is assigned their own job, and it’s very hard to switch out. As a child, a Terra-Sapien will be able to become an apprentice to an older member that’s already settled on what job they must do. Unlike adults, who are essentially locked into a profession, kids are allowed to explore all job areas to assure they’ll make the right choice. Notable jobs would be: architect/builder, miner, hunter, forager/harvester, chef, weaver/clothing maker, blacksmith, writer/scroll keeper, explorer/scout, caretaker, and chief’s adviser, among others. Snazzy is a forager, and Leeke is a miner. Krunk technically has two jobs, being a racer for Velo, and a builder for Amirah. He tries to balance them as best as he can, but Amirah understands his situation and has allowed him to work less often on building.
Terra-Sapiens do not have a solid form of currency, but they do trade goods. It’s through trading that the individual tribes interact with each other, though it should be noted that chiefs tend not to partake in these trades. In fact, the only reason a chief would need to talk to another would be in the case of a pressing issue or a crisis. Perhaps, maybe, an alien invasion? (cough cough, Oxide, cough cough)

Hello! ^^ thanks for the tag, @drox01
《tag people you want to get to know better》
Name: Erica
Gender: Female
Zodiac: Taurus
Height: 5' 2"
Meyers-Briggs: somewhere around INFJ and INFP
Favorite animal: Otters! They're so freakin cute.
Cats or Dogs: Ultimately, dogs (medium to big dogs) but I still love cats and would happily be around or own either.
Blankets you sleep with: One. But I'm kinda particular about my bed arrangement. I worked in housekeeping for a summer and ever since then, I have to make my bed with the full fitted sheet, top sheet, duvet, and 4 pillows setup. and I usually have a spare blanket on the side in case I'm really cold. it's a full on nest at times, but I know all the pieces are there if I want to make it up nicely. (this was probably way too much info for such a simple question ahhhhh)
Reason for your url: the first iteration of eckagecko was my username on GaiaOnline when I was like 12. "ecka" came from the way a kid I used to babysit would say my name and "gecko" came from...well, I'm not sure the reason I added it, but my family used to really like the Geico gecko commercials when they would come on, lol. Guess the name just stuck with me. it's my twitter, Instagram, and PSN username as well, usually with an 11 added (fav number).
Hopes for the future: I've been sadly daydreaming about this a lot lately, so bear with me? I want to live in a small home somewhere just off the PNW coast. somewhere green, rainy, cool, and not too far from the beach (I have so many sweaters and I want to wear them all the time, dangit). Somewhere rural but with a lively art, music, outdoor recreation, and food scene (local or not too far of a drive (does a place like that exist? who knows. is this too much to ask for? probably)). At least one big doggo. Space for my sewing and crafting. Lots of plants inside and outside. (some nostalgic ones for me are lavender, magnolias, lilacs, hyacinths, crocus). I want to have an array of raised garden beds where I can grow all kinds of veggies and flowers. I want to grow giant dahlias and peonies. I'd love to share my horticulture and flower arranging knowledge with anyone passing by and give them a stem or bouquet or corsage or boutonniere or basket of vegetables. something for themselves or to give away. I hope to have a job where I can work and live comfortably. and maybe someone to share this all with, but who knows. but I guess I mostly hope that I am happy.
When and why I made this blog: i believe i made it in like 2011. A few of my friends and my sister had it and it seemed cool and very different from tired old facebook and such. not as much pressure. I remembered specifically searching for the post that would be my very first: a gif set from Couldy With a Chance of Meatballs (2?) where he says "Theres a leak in the boat!" and it pans to a leek that screams "AHHH!" idk. i thought it was hilarious. This is just a personal blog and my only one. I don't usually post much of my own content so I'm surprised when any real people follow or interact with me, haha.
Thanks for tagging and reading!
