The Black Reaving

Pics from game on Friday night - 3000 points of Sons of Horus versus Salamanders.

The stars of my Black Reaving list are posed for a victory celebration in the temple afterwards. The Justaerin (black) terminators, Abaddon, and the Terminator consul are all playing their first games, along with the dreadnought with Loss.jpg painted on his kneepad as a Cthonian gang symbol, and the lascannon squad enjoying being the only models whose bases match the ground they stand on.

The terminator deep strike was the moment of peak drama - I'd gotten the better of round 1's shooting, but I knew I had his Firedrake termintator deathball (pictured right) to deal with. I landed well, but then blew up his Spartan, the explosion not hurting anyone well but ironically enough pinning my Cataphractii blob. Whoops.

The Firedrakes gobbled up Abaddon's unit (and the Despoiler himself) before a heap of lascannon (and seeker, and bolter, and just about everything) fire put them down.

The funniest/saddest unit's experience were probably his Pyroclasts. He doesn't have a transport for them, so they managed to get exactly one round of shooting off before game end, getting dominated by a tactical squad <1/3 of their cost, who Retreated just out of range the first time they got within 12" and Furied them over and over (and over and etc). I sorta felt like a tool playing keepaway.

as she continued to cry on his shoulder, travis kept picturing his future if jillian had decided to go through with the pregnancy and how his life would’ve looked as a parent... and how all that would have affected his current relationship with angelina - let alone the fact, that both travis and jillian undeniably cheated on their partners that night. no, perhaps it really was for the better that this pregnancy was terminted early on. yet he still felt a sting in his heart, wishing he could’ve had a say in the matter...

Well, i just answered it, so i have my own question instead. Do you think ants have religion? Like, I know they have a queen and stuff, but is there an ant god? Are there ant priests? It's interesting how I absolutely did not care about the snow coming all the way to my knees last weekend... or the chilly wind. Or the below zero tempratures.

I think some seasonal slump is creeping in. My work situation is... tricky, my boss is skirting around the topic of my rise and I recently found out he did some stupid ass choices and currently I don't even know if I will have a job for much longer.

But I am an absolute chicken when it comes to quitting a job - not to mention searching for a new one :/ Technically speaking if they won't terminte me becasue od something I did they are oblihed to b=pay severance, but it doesn't make me any happier.

On top of that it seems that it will be another year of no larps - unless by some miracle the one I am currently signed up for rolls out and my company stop being anal about me taking a few days off.
