the best shots of the tenth planet cybermen are the ones when you can just see the white's of their eyes in the holes and nothing but darkness else and when you can see that their hands are bare. In the freezing cold snow.

I understand why this supreme body horror inference was shifted in the 12 finale, because I think it would have traumatised some people, but still.

cybermen should be slightly physically human in some way. otherwise they become pointless and just another robot enemy.

like for example, we only have footage of the first doctor’s regeneration because it was shown on an episode of blue peter which survived

or we have small clips of some episodes (parts of fury from the deep and the underwater menace in particular) because those were the sections censored for broadcast in other countries because they were deemed too scary

literally the only bits of fury from the deep that we still have are the bits that were cut out. i love that
