It's ridiculous for me to be so attached to Arthur but y'all need to understand. I have wanted a partner for my Drifter since completing New War, and I've wanted Dion in general to find love for even longer still. It's just so wonderful to see my space!son finally have a partner he can love, and spend time with, and take on adventures.

Arthur makes him feel like he belongs somewhere!

I hope DE will give us a hug button and/or a kiss button. I hope our drifters will get to have more romance scenes with the protoframe they date. I want Dion to be able to spam love and hugs at Arthur until Arthur goes into a sugar coma from how sweet it all is.

I wanted to draw my Tenno in this outfit ever since I've seen it last week.

A few quick pictures of Geargoyle in Fortuna with one of their kavats, Nightfall. He's a pure Darga Blue Smeeta.

I'm trying to learn more about Captura, and wow does it take me forever to sort out the lights and FoV and everything. Anyways, I think I'm kinda happy with these. Didn't quite catch what I was going for, and for some reason my Operator was not doing their animation cycle. Couldn't decide which angle I liked best so you get both.

Pretty much.

Arthur coming to the backroom before he started dating Dion and finding Dion asleep, cuddling with his Arthur floof and wearing soft comfy sleep clothes. He's sleeping so deeply that he doesn't wake to Arthur's footsteps, and he's devoid of his usual bright makeup. A small but peaceful smile is on his face, and as Arthur's watching he shifts in his sleep and hugs the floof in his arms even tighter.

Arthur leaves the backroom immediately because he feels like he's intruding on something he shouldn't. He's also in danger of melting and dropping his guard for the unexpected, adorable sight.

"This isn't just a bad memory, is it?"

You know how when kids get nightmares, sometimes they go to their parents' room to sleep in their bed for the night?

Think about the reverse with the Lotus. Who goes to visit her Tenno in their Orbiter when she's not feeling great. The Operator coming home to the Orbiter only for Ordis to quietly tell them the Lotus is sitting in their personal quarters.

Lotus holding on to one of their floofs while she waits. Letting herself absorb the sight of their neatly arranged noggles on the shelves. The colours and patterns on the walls. The haphazardly placed posters and trinkets littered throughout the child's room. Watching only with a hollow gaze when the Operator walks in.

"Lotus?" they'd ask worriedly. "Are you alright?"

She doesn't answer; she just watches.

She doesn't move. She doesn't let go of the floof.

Even when the Operator approaches her and wraps her in a big, warm hug... She remains. She is distant. She isn't really here.

But the Operator can feel her shivering. They can feel her body temperature dipping into dangerous levels of cold.

So they stay with her. They try to warm her up. They bring her a hot flask for her to hold. They drape her in blankets and huddle close to her. They talk about their day and the people they've been helping. They crack jokes and talk to her like how friends do. Even Ordis chimes in; even his usual levity takes a soothing edge.

The lights in the room start to dim. And the Lotus' body temperature is gradually returning to normal.

She still hasn't moved. She's still holding the floof.

But the Operator can hear her breathe again. They can see the subtle droop of her head. They can feel the whispers of warmth returning to her Sentient body.

So the Lotus is left to slumber. And her Tenno chooses to stay.

Happy 10th Year of Warframe!

Celebrating a huge milestone for my favorite game, which happens to be on the year of the Water Rabbit. Featuring my Operator Solen and @studiocyen's Operator Bob.

The poses and shoes were inspired by the work of Horikoshi-sensei, especially the left side featuring Deku and Jirou.
