fun fact: when i saw this post i was in the middle of sketching out designs for an isat warrior cats au (not because im a warrior cats fan at all anymore i just find the setting to be interesting to work with for aus. My only fuel) (also, i like drawing kitties.) and i dropped everything i was doing immediately to draw mirabelle over this

OC 1: ROSEMONDE [She/Her]

Rosemonde, more commonly known as Rose, is a woman in her late thirties that has been travelling from place to place to learn about different kinds of fashion around the world! She has a weird haircut, it's very uneven, but she refuses to have it any other way. She says it's how she likes it.

Her armour is the necklace she wears, it's a pretty rock that was made into a necklace with a dyed piece of string. Her weapon is half of a pair of scissors, specifically the kind used to cut fabrics. I think they might be called shears actually. Oh well. Anyway, she lost half somehow. She doesn't remember what happened to the other half, she just knows that it's gone. She's oddly attached to those broken scissors, she refuses to get new ones.

OC 2: LYNX/NYX [They/Them]

Lynx often forgets their own name, mostly the order of the letters, so they refer to themself as Lynx and Nyx interchangeably. They have been travelling with Rose for as long as they can remember. They don't know what they were doing before they were with her, and they don't seem to want to think about it.

Their armour is their cloak! It's a short cloak, a little tattered, clearly crafted with a lot of care. There are stars embroidered onto it, and it has tassels! They like to swish about in it and watch the tassels swish around with them. It had a hood, they think, but they don't know what happened to it. Their weapon is an old dagger, more worn than their cloak, that doesn't look like it's been sharpened in years. It's chipped slightly, and doesn't look like it could really cut through anything effectively.

So! Thanks for reading that, if you read all that!!! I'm very normal and sane!! I promise!! And I'll probably post more doodles and stuff about these two later if I have the time/confidence for that lol :3

partner has sent a couple applications for dog adoption with no word back, and today his best friend saw someone abandon a dog while he was at the dog park. she escaped the fence and tried to find her person, and that's when he caught her

poor baby girl is so scared she won't eat yet, doesn't want to sniff around or play with toys, but it seems like shes got good manners

"After nearly ten minutes rummaging through the disorganization at the bottom of his backpack, he finally approaches the well once again, meager coin pouch in hand. He meticulously balances a little golden coin on the tip of his thumb, positioning it just so for an elegant coin flip… With a flick of his hand, the coin wobbles off, anticlimactically dropping into the darkness.. He pouts, leaning in to listen for a plonk as the coin hits the water but… nothing…. silence.. A few minutes pass and he shrugs, moving to pick up his bag and just continue his journey elsewhere, when suddenly a faint noise echoes from the well.. an almost cartoonish plopping sound, like wet feet slapping against stone..? The pitter patter grows closer and closer…then stops abruptly. The adventurer cautiously slinks over to the well, only to find.. a creature of some sort, clinging to the walls, staring up at him blankly. - What should he do next?"
