I am gonna say this only once…

Chill, guys! It’s fine.

There is no reason to freak out over the film ending on a romantic note….

The original did not end on a ship note either!

The pair were on the antagonistic side. It was a comedic ending with a head shrinking and a dance party.

And I love that! We had minimal interactions and it gave us plenty of things to work with.

We did not have the serenade nor the second wedding with BJ’s goofball simp face. We did not have a this friendly teamwork, nor this understanding that the marriage has an actual use other than the vague notion of life.

We had eww’s and yucks, and a whole lotta yikes….And to be fair, if he didn’t gross her out, would he be Beetlejuice?

Regardless of the ending. It’s not changing anything. Chill. Relax. Enjoy the movie and let’s enjoy the ride.

Also! I’m gonna see it on the 5th with my husband and kiddos, but this blog will remain spoiler free for at least a good month. I’ll save draft reblogs of movie verse fics and art if it contains spoilers not based on promo materials.

But seriously, final time, enjoy the movie, have fun and try not to get so hung up over the ending or pairings becoming endgame.

A non-pairing ending is not going to ruin anything. We got more in the short run of the promo materials than we have had in over 30 years.

I am surprised Luke's team hasn't taken temp of the lukewarm reacting and lack of engagement on all things Luke + gf and worked to establish a new narrative for him. Even a lighthearted podcast guest spot would've made a big difference IMO. And if doing an appearance wasn't something he had in him, a few better instagram posts would've at least started setting up a new story around him and his career.

It took a bit for other season's leads to line up some projects, so they could've easily done a bit of a pivot in effort to clear up some of the subpar press around him in effort to set up whatever is up next for him.

Even his few posts since S3 came out don't seem to be well thought out, or that good of content.

I'm also desperate to know what the other Bridge cast thought about pap pics of him and his GF going out the day of the part 2 premiere lol. At best, it seemed sloppy and horribly timed, and at worst it seemed attention pulling and like he couldn't wait to get off the Bridgerton train.

It is a really sad situation to see play out if I am being honest. I just hope that his team do have a plan and maybe it isn't in motion yet. It could be that Luke's team knew he would be attending Rory's birthday party, so to wait it out just incase of backlash from that.

I don't think his team is stupid (and I know some people disagree), but they have been in the game for a long time. His team would know photo's would be shared on his friends social media accounts and I think it would be worse to have Luke make steps in a certain direction only to see a regression. I think that would have the potential to harm any plan that they may or may not have (while also making Luke's situation worse).

Luke's social media is interesting. I have said this before but I think that his decision to make it professional came a bit too late. He should have set it up that way long before the promo tour. But he probably wasn't completely sure until it was too late, and now it is clear he is having issues with his decision. He doesn't have jobs lined up other than Bridgerton season 4 (that we know of anyway) and his recent posts are subpar.

I also don't think Luke truly understood the potential for people to switch on his friend group (for the longest time people loved Rory, it's also been interesting to see that switch in the fans). He doesn't have the upper hand of his friends keeping his name out their, without it bringing drama and hate.

I am completely on Luke's side to want to distance himself from social media, but he's been put in a hard spot since his friends seem to be unwilling to not capitalize on him (even when they know it will not benefit Luke at this very moment). But I realize that they are also learning about the newfound fame of their friend, so it may just be a learning curve for them as well. (I do realize that their public persona's aren't doing them any favours and it's their actions that have made people come to this conclusion, but sometimes empathy is cool).

I do think that because of the backlash from Rory's birthday, Luke's team did contact him to make sure he is unseen in any of the photo's or video's. Or it's Luke's way of protecting his friends and asking them not to post any photo's or video's of him in them (does this make a difference at this point since they were caught by somebody else? Probably not).

I would assume that all of the Bridgerton cast mates think that the paparazzi walk on the night of the premier was unfortunate, and probably wish for it to have not happened. I agree with what you said - "At best, it seemed sloppy and horribly timed, and at worst it seemed attention pulling and like he couldn't wait to get off the Bridgerton train."

This was a very long winded response but I guess I had lots to say about this topic!

And as always, this is all speculation. I do not know any of these people personally. Could all of this be untrue, true or somewhere in between? Yes. So please keep that in mind.

Personally, I’ve never struggled really with shifting as it just came naturally to me bc I was into spirituality before shifting and manifestation etc etc. When I found out about shifting I just knew it would be easy so it was & I minishifted on my first try 🤷‍♀️ My tips for shifters are to just let go, babe, you know you are going to shift and you ALREADY have shifted so why put shifting on a pedestal? Your mind shifts and as soon as you decide that you’ve shifted ! Easy as that.

Now Instead of passing judgement, as he almost did, He decides to help pick the fallen angel up, out of the rubble, and help him rebuild. In other words, his newest pet project!! Sorry I’m really late to finding out about the new game but who are the LI in it?

I dont have any formal stuff for promo materials yet since I'm focused on making the actual game atm, but here's a rundown!

TITLE:

Adonia AI

PLOT:

You come to work as a temp employee at a controversial AI startup in Silicon Valley that specializes in making AI of dead people. Over the course of 2 weeks, you build friendships, make enemies, fall in love, and learn what it means to be truly "happy." This story will probably resonate with those who struggle with burnout, loss of passion, corporate sludge, death, and fears about depersonalization in a world of AI.

GAMEPLAY:

A computer sim mixed with some traditional vn elements -- all conversations, very little prose in the robobarbie tradition. Bit of a job simulator (yes you have to work) (CRINGE). There's little bonuses and an entire cross-route secret story you can unlock if you know where to look. The content warnings on this game are going to be incredible, for a variety of reasons.

LOVE INTERESTS:

Felix. 35yo, 6'2" (idk), white. A data scientist who is rather protective of his younger brother and not eager to have his schedule interrupted. He's got a bone to pick with god for waking him up every morning and takes his coffee black.

Jerri. 29, 5'6", viet. A software engineer who seems perpetually exhausted (yet in denial about it). She has some secrets she'd be willing to share with you -- if you can beat her in a game of chance.

Sungho. 27, 6'4", korean. The optimistic and energetic marketer with a seemingly endless supply of creatine. You can find him at 6am either pumping iron or complimenting milfs coming out of spin class.

Major. 40, 6'5", black. The executive who will make this company succeed at any cost. There's a rumor that he started Adonia in order to try to talk to someone he loves one last time. Wonder if that worked out.

Note: he recently got hair. I am a bald truther tho til I die.

ANYWAY

That's what it's all about. The 2 routes currently in development are Jerri's and Felix's. After that, it'll be into Major and Sungho (tho they won't take very long after Jerri/Felix are done). It's coming out in 2023 for PC and mobile (mobile will be a couple months after PC) -- release date will be posted when the game is sent to QA testers for their final check, whenever that happens.

Excited for you to meet them next year!

What am I offering/willing to do?

-All art done will be either bust or waist ups! (this is up to my discretion!)

-this is mainly for fandom art requests but OC requests are OK! (see below for OC request rules)

-any characters from any fandom of any age or race* just let me know the fandom theyre from!

(only exeptions are if a character is someone i am not comfortable drawing but I will message anyone if this is the case)

-useual things like i wont draw hate speech for anything, will not draw NSFW or gore of any characters, ect ect ect

-you can offer up a max of 3 characters, but this does not promise i will draw everyone requested

-if ive already drawn a character and you want to see more of them you can request i draw them again!

-if youd like to see my interpretation lmk and ill happily give it a shot to fiddle with the design lol

-pose refs are not needed but are appreciated!

-submissions to be made via my inbox to help me keep track and to have you notified when im done! (tho any questions or amendments you want made you can 100% DM me!)
