Charles after he made Edwin laugh the first time would’ve been soooo insufferable. because just getting a snort or a little grin out of him has Charles kicking his feet giggling. & so the first time he makes Edwin Really Actually lose it? It’s So Over. cause when edwin makes this inelegant, snorting sound that’s so unlike his serious face, that has Edwin clapping a hand over his mouth, mortified. you can practically hear the looney tunes birds and hearts chirping around Charles head. he’s gonna do whatever he can to hear that sound again. watch out, Edwin Payne!
