Character Spotlight #1: Erica Lovette

AHHH my lovely baby erica! i dont think you are ready for her lmao

erica lovette is the eldest of two - she has a twin - to the current legacy of Lovettes (as there are MANY of them, mostly in her sleepy town, but honestly super spread out). but the FIRST thing you should know about erica, is that shes a WEREWOLF. shes the next alpha of the next generation of werewolves to be exact.

erica is a brooding, and rude girl. she hates weakness, and hates losing. shes mean to people she feels to be beneath her, which, in her opinion is nearly everyone. she has a very bad competitive streak, one which gets her a bit more than shes bargained for later on in the story.

but beyond that, erica puts being a GOOD alpha above all else. she is willing to put aside her ego and her attitude, if it means she gets to be a good alpha. to her, being an alpha means being a protector. she hates the weak, and she may bully them, but when it comes down to it, erica is willing to fight for people who cant fight for themselves.

one could even say that her brand of love is tough, that she bullies to make them stronger. which can be true to those that know what to look for. the gleam in her eyes when someone stands up to her, the slight lip curl of pride when someone straightens their back and looks her dead in the eye.

shes not one for words, but erica's actions speak volumes. you just have to understand what youre seeing.

erica stands nearly at 6 feet, with a toned - nearly muscular - physique. not so much broad, as powerful. her hair is long, cascading to her hips in a sleek dark curtain of crow's blue ( black, with an oil slick blue color, very pretty ). she has an olive complexion, as her father is a 1st generation italian-american; but her most distinguished feature are her eyes. a wolf gold, known around town as Lovette Gold - as mostly wolves have them. she usually has a stoic expression, with a heavy brow to give her a heavy stare, with full lips lifted in a slight sneer.

personality wise, think of:

bakugo from MHA inosuke from demon slayer yuri plisetsky from yuri on ice vegeta from DBZ

you will see a lot of her in these characters, and vice versa.

AHHHHH THANK YOU FOR ASKING ME THIS. And also thank you so much!! But seriously, I could gush for days about my favorite writers (i’m assuming you mean on here). So here are the ones that I check at least once a day, if not more: 

@teenwolve: the lovely writer behind this blog is who got me into dacre montgomery in the first place. i found their blog, read through all their imagines, and then became obsessed. their headcanons are one of my faves on this entire site. like, they’re great and funny and perfect. the writer is so fucking good and they seem so nice and sweet and funny and yeah. i’ve got a mild friend crush, ngl

@bubble-tea-bunny: fucking wreck me. every singel fic is golden. every single one and they’re so beautifully written and like, anytime i read one of their fics i get so intimidated and determined to improve my writing because it’s just so good. 

@letmeletmetrashyourlove: just alskdjflaskdjflaksdjfalksdjflaskdfj SO GOOD OKAY SO GOOD. like, i just am always like fuck YES whenever i see that there’s a new fic. the billy ones are just a++++++ i can’t handle myself alright it’s a little embarrassing not gonna lie. i love them so much. the writer is cool as shit too, btw

@sanjariti: THE STEVE HEADCANONS FUCK ME UP ALL THE TIME OKAY. seriously though - i came for the headcanons, and stayed for the writing. it’s so well done and realistic, it just draws me in and wraps me up in that world and refuses to let me go. makes me so happy and warm inside. 

@strangerficthings: okay so literally when i was trying to think of how to describe how much i love the writing, all i could think of was the whole *clenches fist* meme thing so... i just love it *clenches fist* so much. it’s so good and i get to hyped when they update it’s fucking rad. also, their ability to remain cool despite the onslaught of the kink trolls bc i’ve been fucking crying all night reading every ask like this is fucking beautiful 

@ffsbellamyblake: aside from the fact that their username features one of my favorite characters on the screen to date, their steve harrington fic is like, the stuff that legends are made of. am i exaggerating? absolutely not. go over to their page and find a fic right now and read it because your life will be better for it.

@hcrrington: i went onto their page to try and find some examples to make it easier for me to put into words why i like their work so much but i noticed new headcanons were posted and then got distracted and read through every single one so that should say enough as to why the hell they’re so good.

OKAY so obviously there are a lot more, but i’m slowly starting to fade and i wanna get to writing a bit before i head to bed! but please please please check out these writers. they’re fantastic and wonderful and they’re what got me into making this blog in the first place.

It is pretty funny Derek episode. Scott is like everything SUCKS SO BAD when you’re ME or when you’re DEREK who is DEAD whcih is MY FAULT and he was MISERABLE BEFORE THAT. NOBODY CARE US. while Derek is. Actively in the middle of getting dick so good that his fatal injuries all heal. Pretty bad time for the teen wolves tho! I keep thinking whoa maybe there are ghosts in teen wolf. And there are never ghosts :(

so my novel series takes place in a kindgom/country known as Pelinmoore! the series revolves around multiple curses that plague the family Lovettes, and how it all began, and the end goal to said curse. it spans basically eons in the series, with lots of separate stories that make up the big picture!

Then, I moved to Hawkins. Everything felt weird in that town, like there was something being hidden - like a secret that no one was meant to know. It was my first day at the high school so before I went to school I dropped off my cousin, Alana, at the middle school. She was an ass, but she sure can back you up and she is a great person to lean on.

After everything, I got to school and parked my car, this blue Camero pulling up next to me. I look and I see this attractive boy and he winks at me, but I didn’t show that I was interested in him; so, I got out of my car and walked inside the school.

I heard whispers from fellow students, then noticed them pointing and starring at me - and of course the jocks were smirking and winking. But I continued to walk until I got to class, and sat at an empty desk next to a boy that looked cute when he smiled.

“Hey, I’m Steve Harrington." He said, sticking out his hand for me to shake.

“Hello Steve, I’m Y/N." I smile at him and shake his hand.

“You are beautiful.” He said, smiling shyly.

“Thanks, you’re not so bad yourself.”

Steve laughs, and class begins. I introduce myself to the class before sitting back down, the attractive boy from earlier and his friends were throwing things at my head to get my attention.

“Hargrove do you want a detention date with me later on today?” Mr. Glen asked Hargrove.

“No sir.” he said with a light smirk.

"Then leave Y/N alone, Billy." Mr. Glen sternly told him.

The bell rang to go home. I walked to my car and sat there to think about today and how crazy it was. I had lots of people come up to me, asking questions about my race and who I got it from.

But, I met Alana’s friends older siblings. I meant Will’s older brother, Jonathan, and Mikes older sister, Nancy. As I'm thinking, a knock on my passenger door window catches my attention. I turn to the noise and see Harrington. I let him in.

“What’s up Harrington?” I say while smiling.

"I wanted to see if you were interested in hanging out later today?” He asks, looking at me, unsure of what I would say.

“Yeah sure. Here, call me when you think of what we're gonna do and the time." I say while writing my number down.

I look at Steve, noticing him looking shocked. I let out a giggle. “Harrington, what’s with you?” I say giving him the paper.

“Nothing, I just thought you would actually say no. I didn’t think you liked me.” He says while looking away from me.

I grab his hand in mine. "Steve, I do like you. You were the first person to be friendly to me." I say, a smile crossing my features in reaction to his.

Someone knocks on my window again, breaking the moment. I roll it down and the person sticks their head in.

“Hey Harrington, hey princess.” Billy says and winks at me with a cigarette in his mouth. “What you guys doing tonight? There’s a party at Cindy’s, you guys going?” I look to Steve, finding him to already be looking at me, before I look back to Billy, then…
