I think something I'm never not going to be sad about it how UNDERUSED the potential of the chimeras in Teen Wolf was. Like what do you mean they're fucked up vaguely human experiments, and then we never talk about it again ?!?!

COREY HAD WINGS MOTHERFUCKER. Mason was made to host a centuries old French mythical creature. Donovan had gaping sets of teeth growing out of the palms of his hands. Hayden's eyes glowed like fucking glowsticks!!!!

Like, what does that mean for them on the daily ? What changed, can they still have a day to day life as they knew it ? Did their diet change, you can't tell me those bodies processed things the same way human do.

I continue to think we should have seen them live as a group, like yeah they have their homes but maybe they hung out together in between evil deeds. They could've be seen discovering the Doctor's lair, having Theo really explain what it means to be a chimera to them. It would have been absurd and hilarious, it would've made Theo killing them at the end to be much more tragic.

I have this headcanon that since they're inhuman and extremely resistent their bodies adapt to the extremes but not to the daily, like how science can be at the same time very mechanic and awfully delicate.

It'd be hilarious for one of them to be like "hey Theo I don't feel good" and have him answer with a straight face "take a glass of ac1d it'll settle your stomach's ph".

Or caffeine losing it's potency and Theo explaining to them how to do hard dr0gs cause it's basically their version of a cup of coffee. See, that is weird as fuck, that's suspicious, that underlines the horror of what the Doctors did to them. Imagine Hayden and Liam hanging out and she just does a line of c0ke like "don't worry bout it it'll help me finish my geography paper."

And at the same time, they're extremely fragile cause the Doctors didn't know exactly what they were doing. Imagine one of them eating something they used to be allergic to thinking "surely that's taken care off" and almost died the stupidest death in supernatural history.

I like to think that after Kira came back from skinwalkers she met with Isaac to catch up on everything.

I need to know his reaction to Scott having real beta, the benefactor, Theo and Dread Doctors, Kira leaving with skinwalkers .

I really love how Liam shows up at the start of s4 seeming like he was going to be angry and violent and mess shit up. Like a new Jackson. But, then it turns out that Liam is actually the second coming of the cinnamon roll king, Scott McCall. Baby cinnamon roll has some anger and mental health issues, so he needs lots of support.

Then, by the start of s5, Liam is blatantly just a pile of anxiety. Can’t sit in a desk that isn’t his usual and desperately trying to be normal.

Liam is 100% Scott, Stiles, and Derek’s perfect baby. Scott contributed the cinnamon roll aspect. Stiles gave the anxiety. Derek gave the anger.

No cuz if my best friend had been acting weird and lying and had a history of possessed murders, had stabbed me while possessed, and was angry all the time recently, refusing to tell me what’s wrong.

And I was going through the horrors and then someone told me * very convincingly* that my best friend had murdered someone and then upon confronting my best friend he didn’t deny or explain it and then angrily approached me with the alleged murder weapon in his hand…

I think actually one of the wildest parts of November 5th 2020 (if any can be narrowed down) was when you would very occasionally see an entirely unrelated post. Like somehow there were some people blogging about just normal shit that night and it was like standing in a costumed rave that was on fire and then just seeing one person completely calm checking emails. And all you could think was How can you not be seeing this???

I know the teen wolf fandom is pretty much dead, but I need to know how y'all feel about Theo Raeken?

Cause I haven't even looked at this show since the last season came out, but ALL OF A SUDDEN I'm obsessed with that boy and his character development on season 6 (or the little we got anyways) all over again

And thiam too but anyways

Is that a red flag? Should I be concerned?

i think the real reason i’ve been so obsessed with sceo recently is because they’re such a perfect representation of what I mean when I talk about the trope of devotion and obsession to the point of destruction.

in s5 theo was so envious and obsessed with scott (his power, his compassion, the loyalty and devotion he inspired in his pack, etc) that he did everything he could to steal it and when that didn’t work he had to destroy it. on top of that scott was kind and compassionate to him, specifically, when he’d never had anyone care about what happened to him, except, possibly, scott and tara when they were kids, both of whom he killed. he knew that scott would have helped him if he’d come clean in the beginning. and he hated scott for it. he hated him because he loved him. and theo doesn’t know how to cope with being loved except to be destructive in the face of it.

and scott as a victim of violence but also abuse from theo. theo being so emotionally manipulative that he drags every member of the pack away from scott and then makes himself the only person that scott can lean on. theo knowing every nook and cranny of scott and his psyche in a way that no one, not even stiles who’s known him the longest or lydia who understands him the best, can compare to. and scott needing him for it. theo being the only person who doesn’t put him on a pedestal but still believes in him. scott needing his love so desperately to the point of letting him destroy him. scott still loving his murderer and abuser enough to want to save him but also having enough love from his pack to not need him anymore and enough self respect not to do so.

i think what they had was toxic and a tragedy but because im a sucker for happy endings, especially for people who are so intertwined that they have no option but to exist in each others orbit, i like to think that scott and theo end up being the only people that can really see each other for who they really are, not just because they know each other so well but because they are the direct victims of theo’s worst mistakes and that gives them both a kind of insight into each other that no one else gets to see. I think scott is the only person that can convince theo he’s becoming a better person and theo is the only person who can convince scott that it’s ok to break sometimes. I think theo needs scott’s validation and approval and when scott lets him get close to liam and the puppy pack, he knows he has it. i think scott needs to believe that people can change and get better and when theo does his best to help people and be kind to people who don’t deserve it, he believes it. I think theo needs scott to tell him he was a monster and i think scott needs theo to tell him he was a victim. I think they need each other in a way they both refuse to acknowledge but they will still magically end up sitting together in silence on a rooftop every once in a while just to revel in the fact that they can.

and maybe, eventually, they become real friends or lovers

season5 theo putting the dread doctor mask on makes me so ill because half his pack is gone and he’s listening to the dude he kidnapped and he just killed one of the only people that trusted him and now- now he’s becoming the monsters that have tormented him since he was a child
