ZP Batch #6:

once again a little late on things mostly due to high shipping costs during the holidays, but will be finally shipping this batch out to my patreon supporters this week. I still plan on getting the next CD finished and shipped early spring. I’ll do a poll on my patreon page to see if people want either GameCube DanceMix Vol.1 or PS2 DanceMix Vol.2 for the next CD (both have not been publicly available yet but are chunks from past unlisted livemixes for patrons!) as far as the next unlisted stream goes.... it might be time to do another PS1 mix since I only scratched the surface of all the tracks I’ve been collecting.

"The planet Acrion is known and avoided for its toxic, volatile environment. Oceans of nitric acid dominate its surface, broken up by beaches of copper dust, reactions with which are what give the acid oceans their rich green hue. The atmosphere is predominantly made up of nitrogen dioxide, largely also due to these reactions, resulting in toxic, blood-red skies.

Acrion is thought to be inhospitable, and almost nobody foolish or stubborn enough to go there ends up making the return trip. However, extensive scans suggest there exist a few dry caverns accessible upon the larger landmasses, leading into the layers of solid basalt beneath the copper dunes of the surface.

It is theorized that these basalt caves were weathered and carved by the planet's acid, leaving vast grottos and smoothed tunnels. Comparisons with Acrion's binary twin planet Detrion support this theory, with that world's formerly solid rocky planetary shell having been eroded by acid rains pulled from Acrion, exposing Detrion's once subterranean oceans, the process also unearthing Acrion's submerged landmasses.

This gravitational interaction would also explain the supposedly decreased levels of acids in Acrion's caves, which bear vast nitric acid lakes but also areas of open air, less volatile due to the decreased amounts of copper below the surface.

If there is life on Acrion, it's almost definitely either very adapted to its environment, or solely exists below the toxic surface."
